A Hidden Gem for Authentic Ladakhi Cuisine This place is truly a hidden gem for anyone looking to explore Ladakhi cuisine. It’s easy to miss from the main road as the sign outside says “Namza Couture,” but once inside, you’re greeted by the charm of a traditional Ladakhi house. The setting is stunning, with blooming flowers and a cool breeze flowing through dreamy white drapes—an Instagram-worthy spot for sure! The ambiance is incredibly relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. We visited for lunch, but I can imagine the evenings being equally magical here. As for the food, it was a delightful experience of traditional flavors. The mutton momos were outstanding, and even the vegetarian momos deserve a mention. We also tried the veg version of Yakhandi pulao, which was rich with ghee and tasted good, though I imagine the mutton version would have been even better. Overall, this café offers a beautiful and authentic experience of Ladakhi culture and cuisine, which is rare to find as modern trends take over. If you’re in Leh, this place is definitely worth a visit for both the food and the ambiance.

Serves the best Ladakhi food in town; no trip to Leh is complete without having food from here. While you can’t go wrong with anything you choose from menu, I would recommend that you do not miss out on gyuma and Yarkhandi pulao.

Though the entrance is sad. But when you enter ambience is really great. The manager could be more polite. We were lucky the waiter at our table was really helpful in suggesting the food. The was really great. Must try to taste local food.

It's a great space, and although it only offers a vegetarian menu that day, it's delicious and the desserts are not too sweet, moderate and nice. Great service thank you

After walking by 27 other restaurants with menus more extensive than the Merriam-Webster dictionary, my partner and I landed at Namza. This was our final meal after 9 nights in Leh, it was by far the most delicious! Highlights: The Gyurma starter sausage - supple, fatty and flavourful The Chicken Thukpa - well executed stir fry with excellent aromatic flavours The Yarkhandi Pulao - lamb was cooked to perfection and paired well with the rice and simple broth Also the young man who served us was very attentive and friendly.

We had the nicest time at Namza which serves authentic ladhaki food (actually quite different from what is served at Tibetan kitchen, etc..). The place is well decorated, and the service is impeccable! We recommend and hope to come back soon! (And we recommend the pulao for which we came back not once, not twice, but three times!)

On the evening of 30th September 2024, I visited Namza Dining for dinner. During my meal, I ordered a dish of dried apricots soaked in warm water. To my utter shock and disgust, I discovered that the apricots were infested with worms, and I had already consumed a few pieces before noticing. I have since been experiencing stomach-related issues and have consulted a doctor in Mohali for treatment. The situation not only caused me severe distress but also raises serious concerns about food hygiene at this establishment. Furthermore, while I was dining, I witnessed another disturbing incident. A fellow diner pointed out hair in her food to the restaurant staff. Rather than addressing the issue seriously, the servers and managers responded with an inappropriate and shameless attitude, smiling and showing no signs of replacing the contaminated dish. Such disregard for customer safety and well-being is unacceptable and alarming. A thorough inspection of Namza Dining’s kitchen facilities, food preparation methods, and hygiene standards should be conducted at the earliest. It is essential to ensure that other customers are not subjected to such negligent food safety practices in the future.

One of the finest dining experiences in Leh Ladakh. From their kothey momo to Yarkhandi pulao, everything is lip-smacking. Their hospitality and the entire staff are too courteous. Loved the place and the ambience is unimaginably beautiful during the day and the night. Would love to visit Namza again in the future.
