The 21 Best Late-Night Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"Last orders 2am, Monday to Saturday A late-night jaunt through Leicester Square can spell disaster. But rest assured there’s always Nan Hotpot should you want to dip into broth rather than your own pocket. The Chongqing hot pot restaurant is open until 3am and has a constant rotation of ravenous students and noisy groups. If your critical thinking has expired by that point, lean on Nan’s set menu. It includes unlimited visits to the sauce station." - jake missing, sinead cranna

The 12 Best Hot Pot Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"Nan Hotpot looks like a Cyberdog from the outside, but inside it’s an homage to traditional Chinese Ming dynasty design with yoke back wood benches and vintage signs. It’s packed—students chasing the early bird dinner discount, theatre-goers fuelling up before curtain call, and rowdy groups settling in for the long haul. Tucked just off Leicester Square, this Chongqing spot stays open until the early hours Monday to Saturday, serving food and full-on energy until 3am. Let Nan take the wheel and drive for you—their set menu includes unlimited visits to the sauce station, a platter of sliced beef short ribs, king prawns, sweet potato noodles, and enoki mushrooms in a luxurious half-and-half mushroom and tomato broth. Don’t leave without trying the brown sugar glutinous rice cake and the adorable strawberry panda shaved ice, too." - angela hui

Nan Hot Pot is a fantastic spot for authentic Chinese hot pot, and it’s easily one of my go-to recommendations for anyone craving a hearty, flavorful dining experience. With a solid mix of quality ingredients, traditional flavors, and additional specialty dishes, this restaurant earns a strong 4 out of 5 stars. Ambiance: 4/5 The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and welcoming, with a cozy atmosphere perfect for gathering with family and friends. Arriving early allowed us to be seated right away, which made for a smooth start to our meal. Authenticity: 5/5 Nan Hot Pot stands out for its dedication to authentic flavors, not only in its hot pot broth and dipping sauces but also in its selection of “Lu Wei” (滷味)—Chinese-style marinated and smoked meats. These dishes are prepared with care and deliver rich, traditional flavors that complement the hot pot experience perfectly. Flavor: 4/5 The hot pot ingredients were fresh and satisfying, and the broth was well-seasoned without being overpowering. The addition of Lu Wei dishes added depth and variety to the meal, making it a more memorable experience than standard hot pot spots. Service: 4/5 The staff was attentive and friendly, and because we arrived early, seating was immediate. Service throughout the meal was smooth, with staff checking in without being intrusive. Cost: 4/5 Prices are reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the dishes, and the portions are generous. The convenient location in a plaza with plenty of parking makes it even easier to recommend. Final Verdict: Nan Hot Pot delivers a satisfying and authentic hot pot experience, enhanced by its standout Lu Wei dishes. With attentive service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is a great spot for hot pot lovers looking for a traditional yet comfortable dining experience.

Google
The food was very flavourful. We took one in three broths and were amazing. The oily spicy one which is house made broth was very spicy for us even tho we selected medium level in it, otherwise the food and service is amazing. The sauces were tasting good too. I liked this hot pot place a lot, would highly recommend

Google
I had a great time with my friends here. The staff were super nice. They were busy, but they were the most friendly and helpful. The service was well beyond my expectations. When we were ordering they helped explained the difference between meat. The lady even helped find and texted my receipt when I called later in the evening. As a Chinese, the food is great. The dessert is a must-try!! I will definitely come back.

Google
Nan Hotpot! A hidden gem among Seattle’s hotpot spots! The ingredients are fresh, and the décor transports you straight to 1980s–90s China. Sitting around the table with a few friends, dipping food into the bubbling broth — it’s authentic not just in flavor, but in atmosphere too.

Google
Taste :4.5/5 Environment: 4.5/5 Service:5/5 The Taiwanese host was as warm and welcoming as the hot pot itself! We felt lucky to be in her company as she graciously accommodated all our requests. The ability to choose our own soup base was a game-changer, and let me tell you, the Chili Oil Soup had a spicy kick that set it apart from other places. truly transported us to China, making the dining experience all the more authentic and enjoyable. It's not every day you get to feel like you've been whisked away to another country while enjoying a delicious meal! And speaking of delicious, I have to give a shoutout to the ice desserts. Not only were they absolutely delectable, but they were also presented so beautifully that it felt almost wrong to dig in. Almost. But trust me, the taste was worth any guilt.

Google
The Nan Hot Pot is an absolute must if you are in the Seattle/Bellevue Washington area. We went for the first time and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. From a one on one detailed explication of the process and menus, personalized sauces from the sauce bar made from the staff, to attentive service to ensure we enjoyed our entire meal. We were catered to as if we were in the staffs home for a delicious meal. Cannot recommend this location enough. Out of all the hot pot restaurants in the area the staff and delicious fresh food set this location apart. The only bad thing about this is that it is too far from where we live to make it a staple.

Google
I enjoyed the hot pot here and particularly liked the lamb and cabbage. Note that this is a Chongqing style restaurant and that means the spicy broth is mouth numbing. That said, service was ok and it was a decent dining experience. The price was around $90 (before tip) for two people and for that price you can go to Dolar which has fresher ingredients, better service, and more beautiful atmosphere.

Google
Nan Hotpot offers a decent dining experience, but I felt the price was a bit high for the quality of the food. The service is good and fast. The broths were delicious, but the seafood and meat seemed a bit off. The shave ice is a huge disappointment, as they pre-made it, some part still frozen, and lack of syrup. Despite that, it's still worth checking out if you're in the mood for hot pot.

Yelp
We came in for dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant was spacious and nicely decorated. The hotpot spice/soup base was served in a solid block with the restaurant's name on it, which was interesting and picture-worthy. We found that their menu did not offer as much variety as other hotpot restaurants, but the quality of the food was still good. The staff were friendly and attentive, and parking was easy since there was a lot available.

Yelp
We got four different beef and the tofu skin. The meat is ok considering the price, but the soup is great. Unlike other hot pot place where the msg taste is prominent, this soup doesn't seem to add too much msg. It has a nice peppery taste. The condiment stand also offers plenty of sauce. I think what makes this different from other hot pot is the crushed peanut and peanuts. I also like the white fungus mushroom dessert from the condiment stand. Overall, it's pretty good, but the meat needs to be in a better quality.

Yelp
We stopped by Nan Hot Pot on Easter and were pleasantly surprised. Their menu offers items you don't usually see--chicken feet, liver, fresh cilantro, and more--all at very reasonable prices. The canned drinks are a nice touch, parking is plentiful, and we were seated immediately. Meats and veggies arrived quickly, so we didn't wait, and every broth flavor was delicious. The ambiance makes you feel like you're dining in Hong Kong. It's the best budget-friendly hot pot in town--just watch your order volume, because it adds up fast!

Yelp
Nan Hot Pot is pretty great, it's a hot pot place in Bellevue right next to the Regal & Edgeworks. My friends and I came late after climbing and we had a blast. We got the tri-flavor pot with tomato, pork, and spicy broth. My fav was hands down the pork bone broth, it soaks into the food so well. Late at night they have happy hour specials which are super worth it - plates of meat are like $2 or $3. We ordered a lot but my favorite non-hot pot dishes were the Braised Intestine and Sweet Potato Pancake. For hot pot, I recommend getting the Sweet Potato Vermicelli and the Enoki (they give so much)! Even though they close at 10:30, the kitchen closes at 9:30, so be aware of that! They also start cleaning up before 10:30 and want everyone out by then. We had a good experience and paid around $40 pp for a meal that got us all pretty full.

Yelp
My partner and I have been curious to try Nan after walking past it once and seeing their dessert poster. We came for lunch right after opening and we were the 2nd party there. They filled up quickly soon after. My first impression was that most of their customers are Asians, specifically Chinese, and for a hotpot place, that is a good sign. We ordered three broths - their signature chili (mild), mushroom, and tomato. Their mild broth was way too spicy for us - I was expecting it to be quite spicy because the place seemed authentic but not to the degree we got. It had me wondering if they gave us the spicy version by mistake. We also did not like the tomato broth so we mostly used the mushroom one. The food was quite good. The major flaw in our experience was that our meat orders took 50 minutes to arrive. For raw meat that we have to cook ourselves, that kind of delay is unacceptable, especially considering we were the 2nd party to arrive and by the time we got the meat, there were 12 occupied tables and they were served their proteins before us. We ended our meal with the Strawberry Shave Ice which was very refreshing and tasty. It takes 20 minutes to make so if you are planning on getting it, I suggest ordering it in advance. The serving is big enough to be shared by 4-6 persons.

Yelp
Another aesthetic hot pot place featuring a lot of traditional Chinese ingredients and spread. This place stands out as you can get a 3-flavor hotpot for actually a slightly cheaper price than a 2-flavor hotpot, surprisingly. We got the pork broth, spicy broth, and mushroom broth. I liked the former 2, but the mushroom broth had the strong mushroom taste so I was not necessarily a fan of it. We also ordered a spread of meats and vegetables, all of which are of decent quality: we particularly loved the shrimp paste with dragonfruit, sliced beef, and fortune bag with fish roe. The signature platter was okay - you do need to like the more adventurous ingredients to enjoy it so it is not for everyone, but it was aesthetic, 3x3 layout. We also got dessert - the bay berry coconut milk ice bucket - which is fairly refreshing and I really loved the mochi inside. The ice is also not too sweet yet flavorful. Service could be better but for a Chinese restaurant, the primary emphasis is the food and it is on point for sure. My friend also believes this is one of the better hot pot places out there, and it is excellent that it doesn't get so busy compared to many other hot pot places out there, especially if you go to the Seattle area.

Yelp
* 3.5/5 Rounded up * The mild spicy here is already REALLY SPICY so beware (I am asian) I think overall the ambiance and service here is good--not too crowded and the interior is somewhat like an asian night market. I would say the food here is a bit pricier than other ACYE hotpot places and the sauce bar is pretty small. But because of it, I think the sauce bar is well maintained. I think Nan Hotpot isn't too special compared to other hotpot places, but it is in a good location so it's nice to go for a stroll in nearby stores afterwards.

Yelp
3.5 stars but rounded up. Everyone says getting 3 soups is cheaper than getting 2, so that is what we did. Got the mushroom, pork and sour cabbage soup. Not a single soup had good flavor. It was all bland. They also brought the wrong soups out so it took forever after we got all the food for the soup to arrive. Thankfully the sauce bar was decent so broth didn't matter as much. Speaking of sauce bar, they have cute little containers of sesame oil. We shared one among the 3 of us and still had a lot left. We ordered a variety of meats and veggies and seafood items and nothing stood out. Don't recommend ordering the corn - it was clearly frozen and had no flavor whatsoever and was chewy. We were very excited about the Instagram worthy shave ice. I wish it came in a smaller size because it was just the 3 of us and it was enough shave ice for 5-6ppl. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great. Inside also had grass jelly and red bean and grapes, but it was a watery mess in the center with ice all around. There's no way to eat this without making a mess. Overall, this place is very different with exotic meats like snake head, but not sure it's my cup of tea. Glad I tried it though and I'm sure some people will love it even though I think it's average.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place got such great reviews. They need to majorly step up their game (IMO) to compete with other hot pot places that are around the area! First off, the soup base is super bland! Despite the smell of the place when you walk in. Second, the sauce bar/appetizers are majorly lacking at the price of $2.50/person - they don't even use pure sesame oil! Thirdly, for the price the portions are pretty small. They have some interesting items, but that is where it ends. The saving grace to their menu? Surprisingly has nothing to do with hot pot, but more so their fried rice! It was so good! But, really save your time and the space in your tummy - there are better places around!

Yelp
楠火锅! 在西雅图少有的宝藏火锅店! 食材新鲜。装修风格80-90年代中国的风格。和几个朋友一坐,涮着锅,聊着天。太舒服啦! 定再来! Nan Hotpot! A hidden gem among Seattle's hotpot spots! The ingredients are fresh, and the décor transports you straight to 1980s-90s China. Sitting around the table with a few friends, dipping food into the bubbling broth; it's authentic not just in flavor, but in atmosphere too! Definitely coming back!
google avatar

Rachel Y.

Yelp
There's no doubt the mala broth is authentically numbing and spicy. The food ingredients however doesn't taste as fresh and meeting the standard expectations. With Seattle areas chain hot pots competition, I don't see this place stand out very far. The duck blood also tasted very bland with tongue staining with colors. I doubt the authenticity and quality of duck blood at this establishment.
google avatar

Vy N.

Yelp
The portion was not too big, which I liked about it since I prefered quality to quantity. The meat was fresh, spicy chilly beef was very tender. The staff was very nice and attentive. And it was easy to get a table comparing to other hot pot places closer to downtown Bellevue. Will come back next time!
google avatar

Calista C.

Yelp
A very cute and well decorated hotpot spot! The initial service was good, as well as the refilling of the soup bases intermittently throughout. The best thing on the menu here was the mango shaved ice - super refreshing and tasty after the meal (perfect split between 5 people). Honestly the other items were quite average. As it is a similar price as Haidilao though, I would recommend going to Haidilao for bigger tables, better service, and more options for dishes or Happy Lamb across the street for ACYE.

Yelp
Food was mediocre. However portion were good. Service was good as well. Would we go back.. maybe.. we will give them another chance

Yelp
I saw people rave about this on social media (and esp the pretty desserts!) Boyfriend and I came last Saturday. This used to be called Huo Yan Hot Pot; the ambience and such were more modern in terms of tables and booths 3 years ago but I believe they had gotten new ownership so the wooden tables and now benches are at this establishment. My boyfriend said it reminds him of the hotpot places in Shanghai; casual, simple, authentic! A lot can happen in 3 years huh? Nan is known for their authentic chongqing style hot pot. We came around 5 and it's already popular! Luckily we got a table right away. Their menu is digital so you order from the tablet and they send you your order(s). You can come back at any time to add anything you'd like! We got the 3 soup base (which was $2 less than the 2 soup base) which I felt was a little odd but we got a good variety. The traditional spicy broth was pretty spicy, even for mild! We loved it, and Hot pot is not the same without that soup base! We paid for it later...but worth it if you love spicy and if you haven't had it in a while. Love the variety of veggies, meats. They didn't have much seafood...however, I especially loved the shrimp balls. They were different bc they had a shrimp paste filling in the middle that tasted like a quail egg. I recommend giving it a shot! My boyfriend loved the sauce bar, especially the chili sauce he had gotten; it looked more like chili flakes in sauce. They gave some of the dishes flavor! They had braised quail eggs. The bean curd was okay, I think it was too long and thin for our taste. The shredded potato was something different, wouldn't get it for next time. The Chinese beer was excellent!!! And of course, loved the sour plum juice as well. We were SO full, we didn't have any room for dessert. I'd want to try one next time! However, maybe not the $20 desserts, I've heard mixed reviews and it would definitely be best to share one if possible. *NOTE: this place is not AYCE. Service was great! They were very attentive!

Yelp
Another great hot pot joint. +wide selection +sauce bar +sesame paste (lol) +box for jackets +authentic +spicy +lamb We ordered the half and half of course. We ordered the spicy side as medium spicy, and it was a Sichuan amount of spicy peppers. The soup itself wasn't super spicy at first, but after cooking for about 20 minutes, it was intense, and I consider myself to have fairly high spice tolerance. So you should probably be a bit careful if you're not confident in your abilities. Even the pig trotters were surprisingly spicy. The umami was excellent, delicious. Red velvet dessert was good. I didn't think the flavor was super impressive, but this isn't a dessert place, and it was a perfect contrast to the spicy hotpot. The decorations and overall design are probably set up to give the feeling of being outside a small eatery in Chengdu in the evening. Unfortunately, hearing Mariah Carey tell me what she wants for Christmas detracted from the atmosphere a tad, but I won't dock a star for it lol.

Yelp
There are so many hot pot spots around the are and we wanted to try this spot to see how it compared! We came in around 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and it was packed but luckily we did not have to wait to get a table for 2. Service was extremely fast and attentive which impressed us. This is not an AYCE spot, so for 2 people we ordered about 7 items and shared the 3 soup bases: mushroom, spicy (mild), and pork bone. The menu here is not as extensive as other spots we've been to. We also tried the mango shave ice and we felt that it was not worth the price for around $22. There was sadly not enough mango and it was mainly ice which we were disappointed about - would prefer to go elsewhere for shave ice next time! Overall, we don't regret trying this new spot but we are unsure if we would return. Other than the wonderful service, this spot did not stand out unfortunately and there are alternative hot pot spots that are a bit more affordable and offer a wider selection of meats, sides, veggies, and soup bases. The bill for two people came out to be about $120 for which we felt was a bit pricy for what we ordered.
google avatar

AJ N.

Yelp
We went for their happy hour after 8:30p and were pretty satisfied with our experience overall. During happy hour (aftwrtheir beef and lamb plates are around $2-$3 which makes the overall meal very affordable! Their soup bases were flavorful and they had a good variety of options for sides! They also had a sauce bar for an additional ~$3/person that included a variety of fruits. The service was overall great and we loved the layout of the restaurant! They had large square tables that can easily accommodate large groups and the street decorations were very cute!
google avatar

Jutamas C.

Yelp
Good quality foods. We went during happy hour which is 8:30-10:00pm, last call at 9:30pm. Service was great too! We ended up have to pack left over home

Yelp
Very great and efficient service from Anne!! Great variety of food, love the 3 color noodles (especially my kids). Nice deco! Special note: was offered HK style milk tea (not a menu item) after learning that we are from HK!

Yelp
Hands down my favorite hot pot place in the Seattle area. I've been to quite a few (Dolar Shop, Liuyishou, Qiao Lin, Chengdu Memory, and more), but this one definitely stands out as the best! The spicy broth is so authentic and delicious, and really packs a punch (I've tried all three levels). They also have a lot of unique meats that are sometimes hard to find, which I can really appreciate. And, as many of the others mentioned, you can't forget the desserts! I usually go with my friends and order this giant mango dessert that we split between the four of us. Absolutely delicious and a great way to finish off a spicy hot pot meal. The reason I dock a star is that every time I go, the first order of meat is super high quality, but the second order is noticeably worse quality (brownish/oxidized, has freezer burn). I'm not sure why they do this, but it's pretty annoying. I'm going to try ordering all of the meat in the first round next time and see if this fixes the issue, lol.
google avatar

Emelina W.

Yelp
Although they states they close at 11pm, but their last call is 9:30pm. For a hotpot place which is not all you can eat, it is quite early. Parking is free. They are a little pricey, avoid the big ice cream deserts. They now have a membership system which will reward you 10% each time, remember to use them. Very unique hot pot place, but not every dish is good.

Yuhao Z.

Yelp
Staff is so nice! I went with my friends on Sunday evening. It was busy because the food is great. I enjoyed my time there. When arrived at home I noticed that I forgot to ask for a receipt - so I called them later in the evening (after the busiest hours), and the lady was super nice to help me find it. I'll definitely come back again.
google avatar

Yelp
Place: the place is so cute! Very clean. When you walk in your greeted with lots of seating but I'm sure this place gets packed quite easily. It's bright and the decorations are cute. Ambiance is casual nothing too serious which is nice. Service: the service is wonderful! From the very first step you take all the way to your seat. The host greets you, takes you to your seat and acclimates you with their system. It's also very nice that we were given some favorites of theirs. The waitstaff was also very nice! And very personable! I wish I got her name but we had this lady with blue hair and she was so fun and nice! She checked on us constantly and even made small talk which made us feel welcome! Food: the broth we got was the pork rib brother and the spicy broth MILD. Let me tell you, the spicy broth is spiiiiicyyyy!!! But it was sooooo good i I couldn't stop dipping my food in it! The rib broth was also delish! The meat was good, veggies were also delicious. Overall I recommend this place if you are into hotpot. The prices were fair and the food portions are great.

Yelp
I was intrigued by this place as I walk by here multiple times. They definitely need to update their hours and stuff on yelp and Google as it's not accurate. Also, reservations is recommended. We had a group of 5 and made reservations for 11:30am. The place does get busy. Food: 3 flavor hot pot: tomato, pork, and mushroom. They were all pretty distinct and flavorful but mushroom was the lightest while tomato was heaviest in terms of flavor. We got fish, lamb, beef, tofu, bean curds, noodles, mushrooms and napa cabbages. They were all a good amount for the price and it was good in terms of quality. Definitely lunch special deals are worth it. We also got the mango dessert and unfortunately didn't think that was worth it. For $22, the portion and quality wasn't up to par. The mango was frozen and not fresh, and it just tasted normal, nothing spectacular. Also, double check the receipt before paying Because they messed up our pricing twice! Overall, good hot pot place, skip the dessert in my opinion unless it rotates :)

Patrick G.

Yelp
It's good, just a bit sad they don't have those fancy desserts anymore. Miss them! :/
google avatar

Gary K.

Yelp
Great service although the staff are harried as this place seems to always be crowded. We waited an hour after putting our name down on the wait list outside the door. We were told that we could call for a reservation, but even then, be prepared to wait. We had the 3-soup hot pot as we wanted to try more options on our first visit. The spicy was way too numbing and too spicy for me but my wife loved it. Luckily we ordered the ping fen dessert to soothe my tongue. I loved the tomato base, but the mushroom was a bit strange and salty. We ordered their signature platter with 9 different dishes, and that should have been enough for two of us, but we couldn't resist also getting basa fish and grass carp, and a bunch more. So, ended up with another meal to take home. Just my first visit, but enough conclude that it was good value, great service, and it felt like I had visited a restaurant in China! Happy with this new hot pot restaurant in Bellevue.

Julia Z.

Yelp
Price: pricier than say, happy lamb, but also better quality Food was obviously supposed to be spicy, I didn't expect how spicy it was going to be anyway and that's my fault. The meats were all really delicious though! They had a nice lunch special where you could get a plate of lamb or beef for about 5, and the triple flavor soup was cheaper than the full pot at 17. They do not have white rice though! The sauce bar was standard except that they have special canned sesame oil for you that they put off to the side. Pretty nice! The nine specialty tray had shrimp paste with dragonfruit coloring (server assured me it had no impact on taste), liver, meat balls, marinated spicy beef, marinated pork belly, marinated spicy fish, quail eggs, bamboo shoots, and spicy chicken feet. Server helped make meat and shrimp balls, and the quail eggs and chicken feet are cooked and ready to eat. Everything else is self service cooking. Personally I think unless you like all the items in that set it'd make sense to just order separately what you want.

Yelp
Came the first time with friend from WuHan that he approved that the hot pot here is authentic. Fresh ingredients and great service that servers keeps checking on your table to ensure you get everything on time. Also they have you warm greeting as well when you are seated. Restroom is clean and the vibe makes me feel like I'm dining in Asia. Great flavor great service. Will return again soon!

Yelp
I'll start off by saying there's a loooooot of hotpot places in Bellevue. Like A LOT- honestly probably too many. I had heard good reviews of Nan Hotpot though so I decided to try it. I loved the decor and vibes- super old school and unique. Also great that they take reservations! The menu- lots of stuff and very unique ingredients. Like pig brain, kidney, intestines etc. This is suitable for people who want to try unique hotpot ingredients and Chongqing/ Chengdu style spicy hotpot. Our table however was not a fan of offal or spiciness so we got just the non spicy broths and meat, veggies, tofu, shrimp paste, etc. Overall everything was really tasty and fresh. Wish there was more meat options though. If you're not interested in the spicy broth or exotic ingredients it doesn't really stand out for the price, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I will also say the service is awesome and the sauce bar was very clean. What I love most is that this place has shaved ice and other desserts. I don't get why more hotpot places DON'T offer shaved ice/ other desserts besides a tiny soft serve cone., they're running a promo now and each shaved ice is only like $9 which is a great deal. Regular price- the price was insane though- $22. Look the shaved ice was yummy but not $22 worth. Overall this place is worth a try once. But for the value if you're not interested in unique ingredients or super spicy broth it doesn't really stand out.

Mandy W.

Yelp
The tomato soup base was good, but the spicy soup base taste very old, very different from China. Service was just okay, food is fresh though. Just not as authentic as i thought it would be.

Anjali S.

Yelp
Service was great. Food was ok - we had the split option and tried the chilli oil on one side and the chicken broth on the other. One was too spicy (the waitress warned us) and the other was too mild. The meat looked fresh and the veg were as well. Just not to our taste. Ambiance was fine as well. Loads of seating and it's kid friendly.
google avatar

Aaron L.

Yelp
This Chong Qing style hot pot is delicious and you can tell it's authentic. The meats are fresh and the marinated meats are very unique. The mango shaved ice was okay. The restaurant is a little small so you might need to wait awhile for a table. The price is on the higher end for hot pot and there is no AYCE. Overall a good option for hot pot in Bellevue.

Yelp
I was debating between 3 and 4 and decided to go with 3. Don't get me wrong as the foods weren't bad but I feel like the broths weren't as flavorful as the other places I have tried. They don't have a lot of selections either. 1 thing to keep in mind: the mildest level of the spicy broth already has a lot of dried chillies in there. Meat quality was just ok as well. I wouldn't recommend ordering the signature platter as only some of the dishes are good. They do have some good dishes such as: shrimp paste with dragon fruit, shrimp ball with salted egg, fortune bag with fish roe, and spicy beef. Their green grape shaved ice is definitely a must try if you have at least 4 people in your group.

Yelp
The environment looks good, and the dish seems not that pricy. But overall the hotpot soup is pretty light ...you will need extra dipping sauce if you prefer strong flavour.

Yelp
Despite the fact that I have personally experienced a gruesome stomachache after consuming food from this place, I am certain it is due to the fact that I typically do not eat food this heavy in nature, and Nan Hot Pot has really authentic Chongqing style hot pot with a lot of heavy food, which to me would be a wonderful fit for those that are looking for authentic hot pot. Therefore I will give a rating based on how good the food is, instead of what the food ended up doing to me personally. My friends and I had two types of broth. I thought the level of spiciness was just right, as it was challenging but not overpowering, meaning that I could still enjoy the flavor of the food rather than the food turning out to be entirely spicy and nothing else. The tomato broth was very savory and didn't have an overwhelming amount of MSG to the point of making me extremely thirsty afterwards. I enjoyed some of the food in the spicy pot and others in the tomato broth pot. The only constructive critism I have is that the broth took quite a while to boil, so we had to wait for a bit until we could savor in all the deliciousness. Granted we put a whole bunch of stuff in the pots to begin with, but even then I thought there should be a way to accelerate the boiling speed. Maybe providing customers with the means to adjust temperature (if induction stove) could help. That's just a small nitpicky point, though, and doesn't negate how good everything else was! Our server was also very hospitable and provided us with what we need in a fast pace and was attentive to what we have ordered. They had an electronic system to order which made things easier, but when we requested additional broth, utensils, added items without using the electronic system, though, our server was very helpful. Overall amazing place and will recommend to anyone wanting to have excellent authentic Chongqing hot pot in the Bellevue area!

Yelp
This was my first hot pot. It was very yummy, but my base was too spicy for me. I think next time I'll skip that base. Great flavor. Just too spicy for me personally. We ordered fried rice. That was super delicious in addition to the hot pot. The biggest takeaway was the customer service. Staff is very kind and welcoming. Thank you for great customer service. There is a lot of parking as it is a mall. I wish it was easier to access as a disabled person, but we made it work!

Yelp
I lived in Chongqing China for a few years and that's all we ate hot pot for dinner, spicy noodles and dumplings for breakfast and this place is legit. You can tell by when you first walk in it has that hot pot smell. unlike any other hot pot restaurant in Seattle. You can order everything all the cart and pick your spicy soup base you can pick up to three soup bases we pick three. We picked the mushroom and original hot pot and I can't remember the other one. Anyway, the original and the mushroom were the best so I don't need to remember the other one since I will just use the 2 next time. They also have a dipping sauce bar that you can make your own dipping sauce. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
One of the best hotpot in Seattle. It's the traditional Sichuan type of hotpot so a lot of the meats come very spicy already. I recommend to have mild spicy for your soup base. I recommend to get their spicy beef, shrimp paste, tendon and fried rice. The spicy beef is super tender and flavorful. We got the mango shaved ice for dessert and it was perfect after having spicy and heavy hotpot.

Yelp
Perfect weather for hot pot so we came here early to avoid crowds. It's cross from the movie theater in Crossroads mail with complimentary parking spots. It was my first time so I was looking forward to try everything. When we walked in, ambiance was old fashioned atmosphere for generations ago in Asia. It's fascinating. We ordered 3 popular broths, proteins and vegetables on tablet and server brought out to your table. They provided pickled radishes, small tomatoes, green grapes and dressing and dessert soup on salad bar. Soy sauce and vinegar were on the other side too. The service was upbeat and they helped you portion shrimp paste and bottomless plum juice. The food was flavorful and delicious. Unfortunately, they ran out shaved ice but it gave us another excuse to come back.

Yelp
One thing I love about this place is that there are pretty unique options that I wouldn't usually see at a hot pot place, like konjac noodles or beef tongue. The prices are pretty decent for hot pot as well, especially if you go during happy hour ($3 lamb??). The sauce bar is pretty good too! If you like spicy, get the spicy broth. They might lower the heat on the pot as time passes but I'd recommend keeping it going strong since with low heat, the spicy oil clings more readily to the food and it's a different kind of spicy. Would get again: - beef tongue - lamb - fish - shrimp - potato noodles (but don't leave it in for too long) - enoki mushrooms Would not get again: - Spicy beef (too thick) - Yam (takes too long) - squid (too fishy)

Yelp
First time trying Nan Hot Pot, the soup bases and the foods are great. They are different type of hot pots, way spicy comparing with other hot pot places. If you are interested in chengdu hotpot, this is a place for you. The services are amazing. Emily is super helpful and explaining everything for us. My friends and I cannot handle too much of spicy but still want to try the spicy soup base, she helps us to take out the chilis and gives us a lot of recommends of the sauces to eat with. We don't have a chance to try their desserts this time, will try it next time for sure!

Yelp

Yelp
We tried their spicy, tomato, and bone broth. Food was fresh and plentiful. Unique items on the menu you don't see at other hot pot places. Highly recommend the little fish roe bags. One downside is they don't give you utensils ... which was very odd. Had to grab a bunch of bowls and spoons ourselves from the sauce stand. This place would be perfect if they just gave us a plate or bowls.

Yelp
This is a more new location of hot pot in Bellevue crossroads area. I thought it was decent the first time and even better the second time. Unlike other hot places that are a bit chaotic this place provides a quiet ambiance even though filled tables where you can hear each other speak and have enough space around you that you don't feel suffocated. Service is amicable with most of it behind self serve - in this sense it is a plus because busier locations you might wait forever for service to come and pick up your paper and go over the check boxes. Here, they provide you an iPad and you can continue to add to your order through the meal. We really enjoyed the fatty beef and lamb , we're not as impressed with the more expensive prime short rib cut - it seemed cut too thick and was a bit on the tough side. The broth we got was half mushroom and half pork bone and not too overpowering. The sauce selection is decent with cilantro onions sesame garlic and little containers of sesame oil to bring to your table. For the value and quality this is great choice to satisfy your hot pot cravings.

Yelp
We came here because the reviews online were good. I definitely regret it. Ambiance: I like the Chongqing style decorations. They are interesting. Food: The spicy soup base was alright but very salty. The non spicy soups were bland. the ingredients didn't taste fresh. I can't believe there weren't 油条 or 面条... Really? My stomach also felt bad after the meal. Usually if it's just the spiciness (since my family is from Chongqing, I visit often), it's diarrhea the next day. This place I felt bad immediately after. Service: not good. They give you an iPad to order. Ok that's standard now. But when you need service, it takes a long time (and the store was empty when we were there). It took a long time for food to show up too. Well, I'm at a Chinese restaurant so I'd adjust expectations for that. What I'm most mad about is: 1. I think they use electric stove maybe? Or the fire is just hidden? It took a long time for the soup to boil. As soon as it started boiling, they came over and turned down the heat!!! Now I put in food and wait for another 10 mins for them to cook!? 2. They never added water/soup to the pot. It went almost dry. Let's not even talk about comparing against the restaurants in China. Considering the price tag, I don't get how people would rate this place 5 stars compared to Haidilao, Little sheep/Happy lamb, and Spicy popo next door.

Yelp
4.5 stars, recommended! Make sure you make a reservation beforehand, and the spicy level in this restaurant is a little high, so make sure to adjust the level or ask servers for their suggestions. The restaurant is pretty popular and busy. 4 of us came on Friday 7 pm, the restaurant was fully seated and two groups of walk-ins were waiting. The host and servers were very friendly and nice. They frequently checked our table for water and empty plates. We ordered three-flavor soup bases: tomato, nan spicy, and bone/original. All of them were great. The spicy soup base is pretty spicy ( we ordered mild), and a lot of their meat product were fully covered by pepper (see pictures, hot but good!). Highly recommend Thin Sliced Beef Tongue In Hot & Numbing, spicy beef, Rake Tendon, Rake trotters, egg fried rice, and Shao pi. All the beef were really tender, they also have a lot good offal dishes, such as kidney and liver, I am not a big fan of offal, but my friends enjoyed them a lot. Nan hot pot's dessert is fantastic too, it's big enough to feed 4-5 people. We ordered mango bingsoo, perfect after hotpot. plenty of parking outside of the restaurant in the plaza. $50-60 per person
