The 15 Best Dumplings In Philly

"There are few things that motivate us to drive to New Jersey: cheaper gas and not having to pump it, the shore, and the soup dumplings at Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao in Cherry Hill. When you want range, go with the colorful assortment called “The Lucky 6,” which comes with a sampling of filling options like black truffle, scallop, and chicken. No matter which way you go, each bite will send a waft of fragrant steam straight to your face, which is worth the toll alone. " - candis mclean

The 14 Best Dim Sum Spots In Philly

"Reasons to drive to South Jersey include cheaper gas and not having to pump it, cheaper wine, the shore, and the soup dumplings and buns at Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao. Sure, the Shanghainese mini-chain makes flaky scallion pancakes and tripe in a spicy chili sauce. But it’s the dumplings and buns that have us considering moving across the bridge. When you want range, order the colorful “Lucky 6,” which comes with dumplings filled with things like black truffle, scallop, and chicken. They also have a separate dim sum menu for breakfast, and some doughy red bean buns and durian puffs that are worth the toll." - candis mclean

Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao - Review - New Jersey - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"There are a few reasons to cross the bridge into New Jersey: cheaper gas and avoiding pumping it, the shore, and the dumplings at Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao. With its massive dining room, long tables, and an atmosphere as buzzy as a high school cafeteria, the Shanghainese dumpling spot is perfect for big groups. The Cherry Hill spot has some of the best pan-fried and soup dumplings in our neck of the woods. When you want range, go with the colorful assortment called “The Lucky 6,” which comes with a sampling of six different filling options like black truffle, scallop, and chicken. No matter which way you go, each bite will be tender, send a waft of fragrant steam straight to your face, and will be worth the toll." - Candis R. McLean

Google
The food was good. The tofu celery was missing flavor, as was the vegetable soup dumplings. The wrapping on them was impressive. The chicken dumplings were very good, as was the cucumber salad. Service was quick we had all the food in under 10 minutes. The two entrees were unremarkable. My biggest concern was how slippery the floor was. The servers even told us to be careful while going to the restroom because we were sliding around so much. What ever is being used to clean the floors needs to be changed.

Google
We love coming here over and over again and it never misses! My husband and I go through the soup dumplings so fast I can never get a pic but they are a must! We always have excellent and quick service but today our server Tracy was exceptionally nice.

Google
The food here is great and our server Billy was equally as great. Second to none is the only way to describe everything about the experience. If you have thought about coming here just do it! I promise you will not be disappointed. We had their signature soup dumplings and the spare ribs. So so good. The meat falls off the bone and the dumplings melt in your mouth. We also ordered the sweet and sour fish, it was sauced to perfection and crispy. Honestly if I could give more stars I would with a doubt.

Google
Attended the dumpling making class tonight and had a fantastic time! The store manager (didn’t catch her name) provided a hands-on workshop showcasing several different dumpling preparations. This class also included how to make soup dumplings -the highlight of the class! You get your money’s worth with what felt like endless filling and wrappers continuously being put in front of you. Highly recommend this unique experience!

Google
Amazing food—everything tasted fantastic! During my birthday visit, their robot server brought my dessert, and the other servers sang me happy birthday. Rong was a wonderful server and made the experience even better. They made my birthday so enjoyable—I’ll definitely be back!

Google
My experience was very good. The soup dumplings was delicious and flavourful. I really liked the variety offering. So good! The udon stir fry was good too but I felt it was missing something to want me reorder it. A little extra chew for me but pretty good and filling. The beef stew was very good. I only wish for the peppercorn flavor unless I need to order another that has it. Will come back. Highly recommend!

Google
I got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and the scallion pancakes with sliced beef. Everything was delicious and the food came out hot and within a couple minutes of ordering. The soup was flavorful and the pancakes had the perfect crunch. The sauce it comes with is delicious. My waiter was Billy, he was very nice and attentive.

Google
Great service and amazing food. It’s super busy during Friday night and weekends. Our server was Billie and he was very attentive. I normally go during lunch and there’s never a wait time of line. The food arrives really quickly also. They also have robot servers which is cool.

Yelp
The hostess Cindy was very rude and dismissive; she had no flexibility, not even being polite. For context, we arrived about 20 minutes earlier than the rest of our party and wanted to get seated first to have some drinks. Cindy was avoidant to let us see a manager. Mark, our server and the staff member who helped us through this, was great. When he served us later, he was also great. Some notes on the food: - it's pretty good - they can't make modifications to spice Also, one of the items on the food still has the dummy text instead of the description.

Yelp
I can't even deal with how awesome the service was here. We were a party of 9 with 5 being kids and 4 adults. We were seated right away and immediately after placing our large order, the food came out within 10 minutes - FRESH AND HOT. Service was obviously amazing - servers came to frequently refill waters and staff provided extra napkins without having to ask- especially seeing 4 toddlers at the table. The place was big and clean with a large window in the back that was a looking glass into the kitchen so you can see the talent behind the making of your soup dumplings. All the food we had was phenomenal. Every dish had its appropriate flavors. My favorite dish of the night with the exception of the soup dumpling was their sweet fish filet. The fish couldn't have tasted more fresh and had the right crunchiness to it, even though it was drenched in sauce ( not in an overbearing kinda way). Their scallion pancakes was hot and crunchy and their pan friend pork buns was perfectly made without the dough being too thick that it overpowered the meat inside. A must try is also the spicy dumplings which wasn't too spicy but just a nice little kick for you to enjoy. I would absolutely come back to this place again and highly recommend coming here! Hard to find good soup dumplings so if I have to drive 2 hours every time, I'd def take the drive!

Yelp
My friend recommended Nan Xiang to me in Flushing, but unfortunately I wasn't able to go to that location when I was there because it was too busy. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it is a chain and they had one in Cherry Hill and it wasn't too crowded when we went (Sunday ~1:20pm). We ordered the braised beef noodle soup, rice cake with meat, and the original and crab soup dumplings. I preferred the original dumplings more. These soups dumplings are the largest I've ever seen (way bigger than Din Tai Fung) and the spoon they gave us was perfect. The beef noodle soup was okay but not the best I've had before so I would skip it next time. It also only had three slices of beef. I also ordered the mango & lychee green tea and it was delicious! The prices are fairly reasonable; nothing is particularly cheap nor too expensive. The restaurant is big and the bathrooms are very clean.

Yelp
For my birthday, my family and I came to Nan Xiang to enjoy some delicious dumplings. This was my first time here and I was really impressed with the whole experience. I thought for a Friday night it would be packed, but we were seated immediately upon arrival and met our server (I believe Yang Xi) who was friendly and very efficient. We decided to order a bunch of different plates to try as much as the menu as our bellies would allow. From green beans and bok choy, to soup dumplings and beef rice cakes, there literally wasn't a dish that I didn't end up enjoying. Everything arrived as soon as the kitchen finished it, allowing all of our food to be hot. We didn't wait long for anything. The top dish I had for the night was the Black Truffle soup dumplings - seriously WOW, and worth trying. Inside, there's two cute server "robot" machines that help take dishes to the table which was entertaining to just watch, and I was amused when the little robot sang happy birthday to me along with staff at the end of dinner. Really happy that Yelp helped me find this place. It's a fun experience and the food was good. Only feedback was 1) I wasn't able to redeem points for our order, after trying to get help from multiple people. The app seemed to be broken and the receipt only lets you redeem points for 24 hours, which was frustrating. We had a big check so a lot of points wasted without any other method to redeem, like by using my phone number. 2) It was pretty loud, so may be difficult for a date night or to catch up with friends. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We had lunch here for two. Service was efficient bad food was hot and brought to the table as it was ready. My favorites were the Nan Xiang soup dumplings (traditional and what they are know for), the pork fried rice cake (texture of rice cake is interesting), and the string beans. The scallion pancake was a little dry and I didn't care for the pork meatballs. Restaurant was very clean and well decorated.

Yelp
I came around 11:30 AM on a Saturday and there weren't that many people there. I was able to be seated immediately and my server was so attentive (as well as the rest of the staff here), they took such good care of me! I had the chicken & shrimp siu mai, which was the absolute favorite, it had so much flavor and it needed no help from soy sauce or the chili oil, it was a standout dish for me. I also had the nan xiang soup dumplings, which were incredibly juicy and flavorful. I will admit there was a little too much dough to meat ratio, but probably to hold all that soup! Finally, I had the boiled shrimp, pork and chive dumplings. Again, incredible flavor and taste. I will say here that the dough to meat ratio was off, the dough was incredibly thick. That being said, you can tell it's homemade by the way it's made and the way it tastes. The dough tastes exactly like my dad's dumplings! For the quality and the portions, I thought it was very fairly priced. Overall, I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
The food here is so good! I absolutely love the dumplings in the spicy peanut sauce! I haven't had any better than the ones they have here. You will not be disappointed. My picky four year old also loves the scallion pancakes. They are so light and fluffy, the perfect appetizer. The service is fast and the staff are very polite. This place is a must try!

Yelp
Pretty much the exact same food as the one in Manhattan...so, pretty damn good! All the soup dumplings were great! All of the side dishes were great! The ube dessert dumplings, however, left much to be desired -- just doughy and bland. The service wasn't great, though. Our waiter was friendly, but he came by only once after our food was served, and it took ages to flag him down to order dessert and then ages more to get the bill. But overall a good experience. I'll be back for more soup dumplings.

Yelp
Everything was amazing- from service to food and everything in between. The prices were very reasonable. We walked in, were seated immediately, had a few minutes to order. We got an appetizer - the Four Happiness Sponge Tofu. It came out literally seconds after ordering. It was incredibly flavorful and delicious! Then, we got their signature port soup buns and the crab & pork soup buns. Both of which were SO good. We will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
The crab & pork soup dumplings were a 5/5. Reminded me of Joe's Shanghai in China Town NYC without the drive. I would definitely reorder or dine in. I picked up my order. It was a Friday night and it was jumping inside with most of the tables being occupied. It's a higher end type of dining room. Establishment is spotless. The beef fried udon dish was tasty but I'm not a thick fat noodle fan. I enjoyed it and it was great. I'd give it a 4.5/5. I prefer thin noodles like rice noodles or lomein noodles. I would certainly go back. Come & Enjoy!

Yelp
Hands down the BEST Xiaolongbao ever including the over rated Din Tai Fung! The other dish which may even edge out the Xiaolongbao was the black pepper beef. It had great flavor and the beef was so tender without being weird, for those who go to Chinese restaurants know what I'm talking about. We also had the crispy noodles with seafood and the Shanghai siu mai which I would not recommend because it was mostly glutinous rice. Even though it was a miss everything else was fantastic including the service! Definitely will be back!

Yelp
I had higher expectations coming in into this location.... Food wise. The atmosphere is really nice and spacious. Service was fine, they have robots running around.

Our server Jane was attentive, friendly and great . All food were amazing. First time in Nj , will come back soon

Yelp
Came here for the first time a months ago and loved it!! Have been back twice since then because it's that good! The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are amazing! They are on top of getting you whatever you may need or want all while making sure your water is full! Started off with the cucumber salad which is incredible! Have enjoyed fried dumplings for an appetizer and a few different soup dumplings. It's all so so good!!
google avatar

Yelp
Dishes came out quickly and hot which is nice. Our favorite soup dumplings are the pork and the truffle. The scallion pancake is crispy and not too oily which is nice. The Shanghai stir fried udon was good at the beginning but quite greasy when you get to the bottom. I am glad that they fixed the salt level since opening. The plate it comes out in is what Cantonese people would call 'jaw dang'; Takes up so much space for nothing lol The steamed chicken soup was pretty bland. The Jasmine tea was very fragrant and great to cut the oily feeling. Been here twice recently, late afternoon on a Saturday and at noon on Sunday. Both time we tried to get soy milk but was told it was sold out. Made sense for Saturday since it was later in the day but they had just opened for an hour on the Sunday. Looking around, no one had soy milk at their table. There were also not that many customers yet. I feel they may just not make it anymore. If so, just cross it off the menu.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to get a bunch of decent XLB, Nan Xiang has your back. My guest LOVES soup dumplings and is always eager to try a new place. We agreed that the soup inside was well portioned, the dumpling wrapper steamed nicely, and the filling was a nice textural contrast; however, we both wish there was a little more development in the overall taste but that's our preferences in the way! the restaurant is spacious, well lit, and has plenty of parking in the massive shopping complex. The kitchen where the dumplings are made has a huge window for spectators to view the process. Service is very nice and quick! I'm always down to go here with a large group cause it's fun!

Yelp
Great place to get a cozy meal when it's cold outside. Came in with a group of 4 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is big and we had no problems getting seated quickly. My fiancé and I shared the Shanghai Stir-Fried Udon, Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings, and Chicken Soup Dumplings. We've only tried udon in soup and really enjoyed it stir-fried. The soup dumplings were also delicious - our favorite was the Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings. I love that there are so many soup dumpling options and am looking forward to trying them all in the future.

Yelp
So it's been about a year since our first visit and I am happy to report that all the new-restaurant kinks were worked out. We've been back a few more times now and each time, the food and service has been consistently great! Our favorite items to order are the soup dumplings (obviously!) and the cold tofu appetizer. The crispy noodles are also very good, but we try order a different 'main dish" every time we visit.

Yelp
Amazing incredible lovely delicious spectacular STELLAR. Service 10/10, so quick and kind. The pork soup dumplings and crab pork soup dumps were FIRE, I'm a vegetarian and I still got them because why not? Good thing I did. The tofu app was also strangely delicious? I didn't expect it to be cold, but it was bomb. Go here. "Michelin recommended"

Julia Y.

Yelp
It's soup szn!! I love soup all year round, but the cold weather makes me crave it even more! Xiao long bao or tang bao, aka soup dumplings, are one of my fav foods, but it's hard to find ones here that meet my three criteria of being tasty, actually soupy, and having the right authentic dumpling skin (should be super thin with just enough integrity to hold the soup). I got: - Classic pork - Crab meat and pork - Truffle and pork - Gourd luffa (xi gua), shrimp, and pork - Scallop and pork Everything came out quickly and was very delicious, especially paired with my favorite Chinese black vinegar. We got some other dishes, but the soup dumps were the best!
google avatar

Ling C.

Yelp
Food: The filling of the soup dumplings were flavorful and paired deliciously with the chili oil and dumplings sauce. They weren't filled with as much soup as I would have hoped. Not sure if some of them popped or had a hole. The pan friend dumplings had a nice and crispy bottom. The bao was well constructed and the filling was good and flavorful. As for the pan fried crispy noodles with seafood, it was much tastier with chili oil. I wasn't expecting the sauce to be thick and borderline slimey. I wouldn't get this again but the soup dumplings were great! Ambiance: Huge restaurant and elegantly decorated. Service: Quick & friendly. No complaints.

Yelp
Well lit, clean, beautiful, modern, open space restaurant. Service was very fast. Food is good.. but dependent on what you order. What we enjoyed: - beef tendon and tripe - wontons in spicy peanut sauce - nanxing soup dumplings Did not enjoy: - chive box

Lori N.

Yelp
It was nice place, food was good, many options to choose from. Service was super fast and friendly. Our waitress forgot to ask us if we want dessert, we think they just need to slow down and let everyone enjoy the experience! Will go back.

Yelp
Very good food and quick service. Cash discount. Clean restaurant. Beautiful decor. Our server Tracy was nice

Yelp
Very nice interior, the servers are very friendly. I love how you watch the people make the dumplings through the glass door. We received our food very quickly, and everything came out hot but I wasn't wowed by the food.

Yelp
My husband and I came with his friends on Friday night and the restaurant was very crowded. Fortunately we got seated right away. Our waitress was very nice. She was able to separate the bill for each party. Great service.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and rly enjoyed the soup dumplings and the scallion pancakes with beef!!!! highly recommend those dishes. the rice cakes were a bit salty and the braised tofu was alright. loved the ample seating and quick prep of food and service. def coming back if i'm craving soup dumplings!

Yelp
Some of the best dumpling I've ever had. Came here because the girlfriend loves her dumplings. This place is very well known for their dumplings, so we made the trek here. We ordered a bunch of dumplings, the traditional, pan fried pork and beef dumplings, some durian puffs, some Tom yam soup, and peppered beef and veggies for protein. Food came out at a rapid pace, we got tons of food delivered in one go. I took pics and dug in. The pan fried dumplings were very good. The wrapper was not too thin, the meat mix was firm but not tough and spiced and seasoned well. There was a good crisp to the sear, and the instructions for making the dipping mix was welcomed. The soup dumplings were delicious. Little pockets of seasoned pork broth were slurped up readily. The meat inside also similar to the pan fried dumplings but distinct enough to be their own item. I really enjoyed the durian puffs. Flaky but not crispy, soft biscuit like bites of creamed durian. It has a funk, which is very distinct for that fruit. But it was a very warm creamy custard filling with a light sweetness. The Tom yam soup was a little too sour for our liking. We ate some of it but with many other foods to try it went to the wayside. The beef and veggies were really good too. The beef was tender, the veggies were cooked but not to the point of mush. There was still a bit of crispness to the veggies, but enough seasoning to make them feel like a prepared dish. It's very much like they took a kebab and charred it to perfection, then dressed it in vinegar and soy then plated it. This place is busy, but for good reason. The food is great, the dumplings are awesome, and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. This is a worthwhile food stop, and worthy of its accolades

Yelp
The Ambiance is comfortable, casual and relaxing at Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings in Cherry Hill. The service is outstanding, the waitress, food runners, bussers, all make for an enjoyable service experience. Favorite item to order when we visit is the Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings), be sure and also try the Nan Xiang Fried Rice, and the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings. There are a lot of fantastic options to try on their menu so plenty of choices for everyone. Parking is available out front in a large lot. Note: there is a 5% discount for paying in cash vs credit card.

Yelp
The place looks cool! Space for plenty of people! The robot moves food to your tables and you can see into the kitchen! The soup dumplings YUMM! Original pork ones and the green soup ones were my favorite! Everything came out speedy and hot! The servers were on top of everything. Priced well and clean inside! Will be going back!!

Yelp
After a breezy and chilly day of golfing, we were looking for a quick snack -- and Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings did not disappoint! We'd heard great things about this spot, so we had to check it out. We didn't order much, but we wanted to sample a good variety of their famous soup dumplings. The "Lucky Six" was the perfect choice -- six different flavors of dumplings, each one delicious and packed with rich, flavorful broth. Every bite was warm, comforting, and exactly what we needed after a day in the cold. We also tried the sweet and sour spare ribs, which were tender, perfectly glazed, and had just the right balance of tangy and savory. The service was quick and efficient, and the food lived up to the hype. I'll definitely be coming back to try more off the menu next time!
google avatar

Arlene S.

Yelp
They never disappoint. The food is always fresh and flavorful. We tried a new wonton dish with shrimp, pork and vegetables in a spicy peanut sauce. Just the right amount of spice Also the chive box with egg. Also the durian durian puff. Creamy durian fruit with a custard like filling. The food is always served with a smile . Great place to grab a quick bite .

Yelp
Very good soup dumplings! We got the lucky 6 and the Nan Xiang signature soup dumplings. Seating and service was very quick and courteous. The scallion pancake with sliced beef was very good also.

Yelp
Visited with a friend for dinner and was impressed! I don't travel out to NJ often, but this trip was worthwhile. The restaurant is massive, with low lighting, spacious booths, and modern vibes. Their menu had options for everyone - although slightly less vegetarian / vegan friendly. Service was incredibly quick, but even after enjoying our meal, we were not rushed out. Prices are very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Since soup dumplings are in the restaurant name, I was drawn to that section. I ultimately opted for the Lucky 6 so I could try a bit of everything. This was a beautiful plate - both aesthetically and taste-wise. Soup dumplings are still a challenge for me to eat gracefully (despite their helpful step-by-step on how to enjoy!) but nevertheless, they were delicious. I particularly loved the black truffle & pork and scallop & pork dumplings! All ingredients were fresh, and the dumplings were clearly hand-crafted with patience. My friend enjoyed her meal as well, although I felt sorry that she could not enjoy any of the soup dumplings (not vegetarian friendly). I would definitely be curious to try other menu options next time, like the pork buns, udon, and scallion pancakes! I would recommend Nan Xiang for anyone in the NJ area (or those willing to travel there!) looking for a solid soup dumpling experience. I hope to return to try more and refine my soup dumpling eating skills!

Yelp
Nice and bright. No one has yet spoken to me (12 minutes). The food was good but they coerce you into easily spending close to $100.00. The robot that serves your drinks is cool, but the novelty will where out soon enough.

VeRita M.

Yelp
We enjoyed our meals. The food was excellent and full of flavor. The service was good as well. A little pricey but totally worth it!

Giana D.

Yelp
Their service is unmatched, not to mention the food is delicious and so reasonably priced. Rong, our server was absolutely amazing they're all so kind here and attentive. The cucumber salad and pan fried dumplings are my favorite!!

Yelp
I was driving through Cherry Hill and decided to stop by Nan Xiang for lunch. First off, the restaurant has a nice modern, trendy vibe. It's also very big so it can accommodate large groups. Their menu has a nice layout and includes pictures of every item which is great. The service was exceptionally quick. The food started coming out within a couple minutes of ordering (the robot that brings the food over was very cool!). As for the food, they were mostly very good, though I do have a few criticisms. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent. I highly recommend Nan Xiang to anyone looking for good soup dumplings. What we ordered: - Soup dumplings - tried the regular version and the crab and pork. Taste wise they were perfect. My only criticism was that the dumpling skin was thicker than what I personally prefer. - Braised beef noodle soup - good flavor and the noodles were great, but soup lacked depth and the beef was a little tough. - Scallion pancake - excellent, my kids loved them. - Fried noodles with seafood - excellent, goes well with some chili oil. - Lion's head meatballs - excellent, goes perfectly with a bowl of white rice. - Crispy shrimp with mayo - very good. - Soy milk - solid, but didn't blow me away.

Yelp
This place is very popular and even with a reservation, you might have a brief wait. But no worries they work really fast and efficient to get you seated, so don't get discouraged when you see people waiting. The food was great and very flavorful. Not to mention, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful! I will definitely come back!

Yelp
This was the most delicious house made meal we have had in a while. We were quickly seated on a Sunday early dinner time. We had three in our party. We got a booth. Stuck to water and one ordered the peach green tea with coconut jelly, should have skipped the jelly. For the table we ordered: Pork dumplings Pork soup dumplings Spicy peanut sauce dumplings Beef udon noodles We shared it all and it was so good! Service was fast and efficient. It was clean, they make the dumplings in the back on the way to the restrooms. Our bill was just about $50. Not bad at all. Bought a $25 gift card for the grandparents watching the second kid at home who wouldn't eat this food.

Yelp
This was a post Mother's Day brunch make up day. This place did not disappoint, great decoration when you walk in. Red and gold colors are classic Asian accents. If you walk to the back of the restaurant you can see the cooks assembling the soup dumplings. We choose the cold appetizers, braised tofu, bamboo shoots named four seasons. There were 3 adults so we only ordered 2 orders of soup dumplings. Pork and pork/crabmeat. They came out piping hot and well worth the wait. My 14 year old daughter ordered the pan fried pork buns. We ordered to noodle dishes, pan fried beef noodles and seafood udon noodles. Seafood had shrimp, scallops and fish filets. And the soup dumplings came out on the mobile robot. This was overall a great experience and the food flavor was on point. We loved everything we ordered and would go back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Never fail when I needed a quick and delicious lunch. Hot and soupy and delicious. The noodle we ordered this time was alright, probably try another noodle next time.

Yelp
Location is very spacious and service was quick and attentive. The soup dumplings definitely hit the spot along with the scallion beef pancakes. We thought the sweet and sour fish and beef noodle soup were just ok

Yelp
Loved this specialty XLB place! They have so many flavors to choose from although I'll have to say after trying the pork, lobster, and truffle one, my favorite is still the tried and true pork XLB. The wrappers are thin but sturdy, and they don't break when you eat them and they're the good amount of chew without being too bready. The soup is delicious and flavorful. They come out piping hot and fresh, this place rivals DTF for me! The Shen jian Bao's were good too, and the food was very filling and we definitely over ordered. There's a lot for parking and the interior is clean and modern. The service was relatively quick too and wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning. If you write a review, they'll also give you a free soy drink.

Yelp
I really enjoy it this place. I just wish there was one closer to my house. We got the four happiness appetizer and while we were eating it we completely forgot it's tofu! It was so flavorful. The teas are also good. Quite sweet. My braised beef noodle soup was comforting. Good chunks of beef. Noodles cooked really well. Service was amazing. We were constantly being helped, maybe because we went at an off time. The little robot that brings the food out is oddly cute to me? Someone even boxed our food at the end. The interior is also nice, a cross between cozy and fancy. And you can see where the dumplings are made which is cool. I'll definitely be going back.

Yelp
This place is just, perfect. Truly the best soup dumplings in the game. The service is always excellent and you never have to wait for a seat because the restaurant is huge. Always a great experience from beginning to end.

Yelp
WHAT I ATE - NEW JERSEY Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings Cherry Hill, NJ We've heard a lot about Nan Xiang Xiao Soup Dumpling on Yelp and other social media outlets. When we saw it was not far off our route on I95 near the Cherry Hill exit, we stopped by for an early dinner. Service was really fast, considering these dumplings are made by hand - you can see them being made thru a big window exposing the kitchen! The cheeky robots scooting around help with delivery of orders to each table, but there are some items delivered by humans. Among the items we tried: Spicy Pig Ears Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs Steamed Meat Buns Lucky Six Soup Dumplings -Six types of dumpling (we got 3 orders) Crab and Pork Dumplings - (picked an order of this after trying it from the Lucky 6 dumpling flight) Shrimp Eggrolls Yes. It's a really carby meal. I sooo wanted to pull over an take a nap, but was able to make the long trip home! We'll go there again the next time we're in NJ! VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/6CLm6UxuNkw

Yelp
Came here with family while on vacation New Jersey. The food here was pretty tasty! I didn't get any photos this time. It was a bit of trouble to wrangle and feed a three year old and socialize at the same time. The robot was distracting and fascinating for her. Our servers were attentive with our water glasses and making sure we had enough to order (we had so much to-go!) The booths were quite tight for a family of six but we made it work. The tables with open chairs would have been a better option. The restrooms were well-stocked and clean. I liked that there were extra sinks outside so you can wash hands easily. All in all, wish we had something like this in Cali as we would frequent it more often. Love the open kitchen concept and how clean everything was, too.
