Las Vegas Loses Three Restaurants With Plant-Based Menus | Eater Vegas

"A Japan-based tea shop has opened in Las Vegas; the matcha used at the shop is stone-ground in Uji or Shizuoka before arriving at the new location. Matcha preparations are available in lattes, floats, sodas, soft serve with chocolate, and parfaits layered with black sesame." - Janna Karel

AMBIENCE: High ceilings, very clean and minimal look. Plenty of seating. This is a good spot to catch up with friends & have a sweet treat. This isn’t a place to really get work done, I noticed there aren’t a lot of outlets, if any. So make sure your electronics are fully charged if you choose to work here. FOOD: The Hojicha Caramel Latte is an acquired taste lol Not that I thought it was gross, but if you have more of a sweet tooth, this may not be for you. I personally liked it, but more so when I mixed the whipped cream. The Chicken Nanban was tasty & filling; subtle flavors. Will try other dishes next time. OVERALL: This is a fairly new place, so the service & speed should improve over time. Keep in mind this place is popular, so although I didn’t wait to make my order, I did have to wait for my order.

Walked in and there were a lot of people. It’s packed! We went to check for seats and there was 1 table available so decided to get seated. We ordered after. Got our desserts and drinks within 5-7 min. They don’t seem to have a time limit so a lot of tables have finished their food and sat there chatting. We were there for 20 minutes and not one table left. The matcha drinks here are all premade so everything has sugar except the teas which are brewed prior. The staffs just pour the drinks so drinks do come out fairly quick! Matcha soft serve - matcha soft serve portion was okay. It’s half full-ish? The cone isn’t house made so it’s a typical cone. I would’ve gotten it in a cup if I knew they bought their cones. Sesame parfait - the portion seems to be good if you get it dine in. I’d recommend this item. The portion to go is a lot smaller from what I’ve heard and seen. Cold brew uji-cha - over-brewed. It is bitter. I asked for more ice to maybe dilute it. He added 3 extra pieces of ice. Cafe latte with soft serve - not a lot of soft serve to begin with. If you like your latte sweet, mix the soft serve, don’t eat it! They will give simple syrup if you want it sweeter. The coffee is NOT sweetened so the soft serve is your sweetener. Services: 1/5 - they are all very new it seems. They stand there staring and other servers had to ask him/her to talk to their customers. Also, everyone’s voices are so soft. It’s loud in the store, I’d have to ask them repeat multiple times and they still talk so softly. They seem annoyed when I asked them a question. Must have been a tough and long day for them.. Parking: didn’t have to wait for a spot (3:10) but as we left (3:37) people were waiting for spots!

Gotta be kidding me!! $40 for a couple scoops of ice cream and whipped cream!! No way!! We were so surprised when we got our order that thought it was a mistake, unfortunately no mistake and no kidding, each cup at half full including the whipped cream!! And $13 each one. We had the same order at Nana’s in Seattle and couldn’t finish my own, this one in Las Vegas honestly got to do better Nana!! We like you, but I’m not throwing my money for nothing, here’s the receipt and the products:

We went to Nana’s Green Tea on Friday, July 25th around 3:30pm. They were relatively busy but we were still able to find a place to sit. There was a line up to the door but they got through everyone very quickly. The cafe had a nice atmosphere and was aesthetically pleasing. The seating was comfortable. Overall, the food and drinks were good. My brother ordered the vanilla matcha swirled soft serve. He said it was good and had an authentic matcha flavor. My cousin ordered the matcha latte and said it was the best she’s ever had. I ordered three items totaling around $38, first of which was the strawberry red bean latte. It was very good, having a balanced red bean and fresh strawberry flavor. The black sesame parfait was amazing. I am a big black sesame fan and this totally hit the spot. From the ice cream to the jelly, you can taste authenticity and quality. I also tried something from the savory section of their menu, the chicken katsu curry and let me tell you it was incredible. I’ve had chicken katsu curry from many places and I think I have to give it to Nana’s. The katsu was crispy and the batter was the perfect thickness. The curry was the right consistency and had a delicious flavor. I don’t usually eat rice but the curry made me finish all of it. The miso soup was right on as well. My only criticism is that I don’t think they were prepared for how busy they would be. Typically when places first open it takes some time to gain traction, but Nana’s became popular very quickly. I think with a couple weeks they’ll be able to adapt. With that said, I think this place has the potential to stick around. The drinks, food, and dessert aren’t just Instagram worthy, they truly taste good. The price point is slightly higher than similar cafes, however you are paying for quality. From the ice cream to the matcha to the savory dishes you can taste the thought put into each item. I’ll definitely be returning.

Matcha latte and the Matcha Gateau Chocolate Cake were great! Sipping the their latte brought back memories of visiting a cafe in Arashiyama. Customer service is good and the place is aesthetically nice. Be prepared to queue up when ordering as this place is very popular and busy. As this place is new, parking is limited so come on opening or before closing.

Had no idea what to expect when we walked in, but this was fantastic! The parfait had a great mix of flavors and textures. The curry was very satisfying and comforting. Portions were good too. I couldn’t finish the whole portion and had to take it home. Overall I highly recommend!

With a username like mine you knew I was going to end up making a review about this place. My friend and I came in for a soft opening, the line was very long but that's to be expected. A forewarning I have had Nana's green tea in Kyoto so what I was looking for would probably be slightly different than the regular matcha enjoyer and I have to say tasting it brought me back to the memory of having it in japan. They did it very well with the straight matcha iced, the soft serve is a nice creamy texture and isn't trying to trick you by sprinkling mediocre matcha powder onto it to make you feel like you are getting value like another place in town. The cakes were exceptionally nice, the hojicha one had nice notes of chocolate that went well with hojicha and the matcha one was very rich and dense. Highly recommend this to matcha people.

Google
Nana’s green tea just opened and how exciting to have another cute cafe like this! I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte w/ Oatmilk. It tasted good, yet felt like it was underwhelming at the same time. Maybe my taste buds were off this day since this place is spoken so highly of. Definitely would go back to try again!

Yelp
Nana's Green Tea, a must try! Was there for their soft opening and they were busy. Nevertheless, staff were very friendly and courteous. Loved the interior. Minimalistic and serene. Tried their Chicken Nanban Rice plate. The chicken was moist, the sauce was light but flavorful. But the highlight for me was the hojicha latte. Best I've had in Vegas. Will definitely go again just for the hojicha.

Yelp
Nana's Green Tea just opened and it's already drawing huge crowds--expect a wait, but the food and atmosphere make it worth it. The prices lean a little high although that depends on what you order, but that's expected for the quality and presentation; the chicken karaage was crisp and flavorful, and the chicken katsu curry hit the spot. Despite only two servers handling the busy crowd, service didn't slip--Sophia was especially attentive, making rounds to ensure guests were taken care of. If you're craving matcha and Japanese comfort food in a stylish, buzzworthy spot, this place delivers.

Yelp
Tokyo born, now in Sin City serving strong matcha! I'm a big fan of matcha drinks and curry katsu rice, so of course I had to check this place out. Nana's Green Tea is right across from the new southwest Costco. It did not disappoint, and we'll definitely be back. Ambiance: (5/5) Relaxed, spacious, and welcoming for a cafe. You order at the counter and then find a seat. It's much more spacious compared to most cafes in town. Service: (5/5) Even though it's counter service, the staff came by to check on us multiple times. I really appreciated that, unlike some other places where they never come back after you order but still expect full tips. Food: (4/5) I ordered the matcha latte (5/5). Personally, I love a strong tea flavor, and this was one of the strongest matchas I've had in the States. It kept me up from 7 pm to 4 am, lol. I also got the chicken katsu curry, which came with miso soup (4/5). The katsu was great, thick cut, and flavorful. I just wish there were some veggies in the curry. Still, for $14.50, it's a very reasonable price in Vegas. Overall, I'd definitely come back. I'm already craving the matcha and katsu again!

Yelp
We've been to Nana's at least 4 times now. While on the pricey end, they are consistently top tier. Service is pretty good. The people working there have been nice and helpful. Many of their matcha and black sesame goods are imported straight from Japan! Seating is not the best; the establishment is small so when it's peak hours you're crammed like sardines. You order and pay at the counter and receive your food with a number placecard. In terms of food we've tried the chicken nanban, pork and chicken katsus, curry, beef sukiyaki, and karaage. We've liked it all. The chicken karaage is a hit with our toddler. It's arguably her favorite savory item on the menu. The sukiyaki is so flavorful and probably my favorite entree here. It's a rice bowl packed with beef, egg, tofu, onions and a whole lot of umami. The chicken nanban is like a fried chicken cutlet with potato salad. They come with mediocre miso soup. None of the foods are the best compared to Japanese restaurants that specialize in sukiyakis, katsus and what not but they are really good for what they are. The drinks and desserts are the stand outs. While Nana's is known for their matcha, their black sesame is delicious. We love their black sesame ice cream, which the manager confirmed to us is imported from Japan. We've had the matcha mochi parfait, which is layered with matcha jelly, matcha ice cream, vanilla soft serve, crispy cereal, red bean ball, and mochi. We've tried the hochija parfaits and scoops. We've tried the matcha latte with red bean and mochi, which was like the parfait in delicious drink form. We haven't had a dessert or drink we haven't liked. However this place is pricey. Just this past week, with three adults and toddler (and baby who didn't partake in the offerings), we ordered 4 entrees, two drinks, and two desserts, and were set you back over a hundred easy. Hard to compromise quality though.

Yelp
Made it to the grand opening of Nana's green tea just forgot to post this!! I will say I have heard a lot of buzz even before they opened about this spot and was super excited to check it out. There was a long line but it flowed pretty seamlessly and the staff made sure to set up barriers so it wasn't confusing on where the line started and ended. Serving authentic Japanese matcha, parfaits, and desserts in Las Vegas. Nanas is a modern teahouse for handcrafted teas made with traditional techniques. I opted for the matcha soft serve latte. It was smooth and creamy, which I loved. One of the best I have tried in the city! There is booth and table seating here but they were so packed I couldn't dine in at the time. They also serve food here which i need to check out next time :)

Yelp
I was so excited to hear that nanas green tea opened in Vegas!! I used to go to nana's back home in Japan. I ordered my usual, hojicha warabimochi parfait and it did not disappoint!! Good quality, such a good parfait. The wait wasn't too long, service was good, and the cafe was clean. I am so happy to add this place to my favorite pick me up spot :) will be back for sure!

Yelp
Went there yesterday after work and not so crowded. It was a treat going there with the very hot weather outside. I ordered a matcha ice cream latte and it was good and so as the waffle cone. I'm glad that we have nanas green tea here in Vegas.

Yelp
Delicious well curated drinks! Matcha Brown sugar latte tasted just how I like it, robust, not too sweet! The Soft serve Hojicha with warabimochi is divine! My favorite! Perfectly smoky, earthy and nutty, not bitter! I think it has the lowest amount of caffeine out of all the teas, it's a great option for someone watching their caffeine intake! Fast and friendly service! Plenty of seating inside. I can't wait to come back in and try their food items! Ooh I also tried the Yuzu Cheesecake! Amazing! Full yuzu flavor, not overwhelmingly sweet!

Yelp
If you love matcha, this place is basically your playground. I went all in -- starting with a matcha parfait stacked like a dessert Jenga tower: green tea ice cream, sweet red bean paste, whipped cream, chewy mochi, cornflakes (yes, cornflakes), and a drizzle of matcha syrup that tasted like it came straight from Kyoto. Every bite had a different texture -- crunchy, chewy, creamy -- and somehow it all worked. Next up, the matcha + vanilla soft serve swirl with chocolate drizzle and cookie crumble. Pro tip: eat it fast before it melts into a green-and-white soup. For drinks, the cold Uji-cha was clean, grassy, and refreshing, while the Hojicha had that roasted, toasty flavor that's perfect if you like your tea a little more mellow. Everything looked and tasted like it belonged in a Japanese café Instagram post -- minus the fact that I couldn't decide whether to eat it or frame it. Verdict: Worth every brain freeze and sugar rush.

Yelp
Came here after lunch on Saturday and it wasn't crowded when we ordered but there was a line once our order came out. The pace was full but still had some open seatings left. My mom and I shared a matcha waramochi parfait and it was really good. I like all the different textures and flavors. I especially like the waramochi at the top and the matcha jelly at the bottom. My mom said the red bean was too sweet and I agree. Definitely order it to share because it would've been overwhelming otherwise. A bit overpriced but not too bad. There's also food like curry. Didn't look very appealing but I might give it a try next time. They're definitely still in training so give them some grace. The place is a little dim. There was an odd smell when we entered, which my mom noted first. Wasn't bad, but also wasn't pleasant.

Yelp
Was very excited about nanas opening and so close to me. But I saw that it was madness on insta, so I waited a bit until I decided to go on 8/1. It was a Saturday and when it opens there was already 20 people in line. There's not a lot of lining up area in the cafe so half of the people were lining outside in the 100 degree heat. That I didn't appreciate. I recommend going around 11:15 where the line has subsided a bit. There were still plenty of seats. I got the matcha soft serve latte and matcha basque cheesecake to go. The latte was delicious, was matcha-y and creamy. No fishy matcha taste if you know what I mean. The basque cheesecake had a bit of that. Cheesecake was nothing special. The soft serve was creamier than urban matcha so I liked it more. One thing that I saw in the other reviews and I agree that I also didn't like is that the presentation of the items are not great. The soft serve was not tidily done and pretty. The cakes on display didn't have a feeling of attention to detail. The cakes were like missing a corner etc. I know the cake is kind of crumbly but yea not a good display. Would come back but hopefully this madness will cool down further.

Yelp
Heard mixed reviews about this place and decided to give it a chance. I don't know why the reviews are mixed, because this place is pretty dang great. Very spacious and clean. And the food, from what I had was awesome, and same with the drinks. The matcha is strong and seems like it's of good quality. The chicken sando and salad were the bomb as well. Other food looked great but I was too full to order anything more. Would definitely come back and I recommend a visit.

Yelp
Brand new and extremely busy! This is a modern Japanese cafe that specializes in green teas, Japanese food and desserts. Their story begins in Japan. Their goal is to preserve ceremonial matcha techniques that were developed in the Edo period. Every scoop of powder is stoneground in Uji or Shizuoka before traveling half way around the world. Upon entering, this place was bustling on a Tuesday afternoon. I did not have a whole lot of time to peruse the menu so I went with a Matcha Latte topped with a little chocolate. Once I ordered I was given a number and a server would deliver my drink when ready. I must admit I felt rushed (nobody's fault) and would like to return when I have had time to truly study the menu to try more of their matcha delights. This space is big and can hold a lot of people but as I looked around, every table was taken and there were still people waiting to sit down.We had a good table and although it was packed, it was still easy to hold a conversation. My matcha latte was delicious. From the stone grounding techniques used the taste was earthy yet smooth. I always enjoy a slight bitter taste at the end of my sip and this drink was perfect. The desserts that my friends ordered looked divine and I could tell my friends were loving them. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but the plaza is big enough to accommodate many cars. They are located directly across from the new Costco on Buffalo. Service was friendly and efficient. Being the matcha lover that I am, I can see myself coming here a lot but I will hold back till the crowds have calmed down.

Yelp
Nana's Green Tea is a popular tea shop with over 90 stores worldwide from Tokyo, and this is the first location in Las Vegas! You'll find them at Buffalo Crossing on Maule and Buffalo, they're right next to Pristine Dental and in the same area as Great American Pub, Xiao Long Dumplings, and Pipeline Malasadas. Parking is limited in front but there's more available by Great American Pub. Inside is a casual dine-in with laid back and chill vibe, good seating, and instrumental music playing softly in the background. The place is pretty lively and quite busy. Above is a drink menu displaying a nice selection of matcha latte base, hojicha latte, Japanese tea, and parfait. They even have a paper menu on the counter, showing what's available and includes red bean latte, black sesame, coffee, soft serve, as well as salad and hot food, rice bowl, rice plate, curry and miso soup. Dine-in order is placed at the cashier, and they'll give a table number. When order is ready, an assigned food runner will deliver the food and drinks to the table. The cafe was super packed and busy. I found a cozy seating along the wall and it was comfortable. JP is lovely! He is the only server who is efficiently delivering the order, and is very attentive, courteous, and polite. I had Chicken Nanban ($15.95), so flavorful and delicious! It's lightly breaded chicken, slightly crispy, meat is nicely marinated, tender and moist, topped with amazing sauce, fresh scallions, and served with steamed rice. The meal comes with a light green salad, sliced carrot, cherry tomatoes, steamed broccoli, yummy creamy potato salad, and good miso soup, it's wonderful! Also had Iced Hojicha Latte (Large, $7.50) with a cup of Matcha Soft Serve ($6.25), it's not too sweet and matcha flavor is very prominent. The matcha soft serve was delivered already melting, and JP was genuinely apologetic, replacing the soft served with a new one, I appreciate it! I love the combination of iced hojicha latte with matcha soft serve, it's delightful! Service from Henry, Gavin, Grace, and JP is outstanding! They're very kind, welcoming, attentive, accommodating, and friendly!

Yelp
Cute spot for a quick bite and snack. Seating is first come first serve. The servers are very polite and friendly. Hojicha ice cream w anko and mochi (4/5) - skip the toppings, the ice cream is yummy. Found a lil glue at the bottom of my ice cream cone

Yelp
Welcome to Las Vegas, Nana! Little did I know, my friend and I went during their official grand opening weekend. I arrived around 12:15pm expecting a crazy long line outdoors. I was ready to get my tan on. But to my surprise, I basically only had to wait about 10 minutes outside and the rest was indoors. Line moved quickly. I had my heart set on an iced matcha latte and the curry chicken katsu plate. Not sure if they ran out of almond milk but all they had available was oat milk so FYI on that. My friend ordered a few desserts like the matcha mochi parfait, iced matcha red bean latte w/mochi and a hojicha soft serve. Thank goodness I found a table for us and our items came out in a timely manner. I was pleasantly pleased with that and despite being so busy, the service was genuinely friendly. I think since the hype is still on a high right now, seating may be difficult to secure during peak hours. When we left around 2 ish, there were plenty of tables available. So please come during non-peak hours. Everything we ordered was delicious. My curry plate's portions was big enough to have leftovers for the next day. Although there was no spice, the flavor of the curry makes up for it. Matcha lattes were smooth and not too sweet (thank goodness). You can def taste the good quality matcha here. The desserts were big enough to share!!! Would I be back? Ehhhhh....maybe since I live close by and if I was craving for good quality matcha but don't wanna drive all the way to spring mountain. Otherwise, I personally believe there are other "better" matcha (and curry) places out here in the city.

Yelp
Japan comes to the US. Nan's opened about 2 weeks ago on South Buffalo. 3 of us who haven't seen each other for a while decided to meet here and enjoy a treat and some conversation. It was dessert before dinner. There were some people outside the door when I arrived-- Nana's was so busy. After one of my friends arrived, we ordered. You get a post with a nunber and then find a seat. The place was filled but soon a table opened up and we took that. A server brings the items you order to the table and then dig in. I got a matcha mochi parfait. There is a mixture of things to the parfait--mochi, matcha soft serve, among other things. Quite a nice mixture of flavors and very refreshing in our summer heat! A few notes: parking can be a problem. You may drive around waiting for someone to leave. Even if there is a line out the door, the staff takes orders quickly and the line moves along. Then, you may have to wait for a table. If you're getting a drink, I'd recommend getting take out and forget about finding a table. It was a great introduction to this Japanese company. Since I'm not in that area too often, my visits will be less than if they were closer.

Yelp
Yelp Review 2025 #145: I've been anticipating Nana's Green Tea to open. I looooooove matcha. It has locations sprinkled in Japan where matcha cafes are pretty much everywhere - and I love it. Nana's Green Tea also has locations in other parts of Asia, Australia, and in North America (Vancouver, Seattle, Boston, Hawaii, and now...Las Vegas). Even during their soft opening, they already had long lines. I could only imagine the crowd during grand opening last week. So, I knew I had to come here at an odd time on a weekday because I'm not standing in line in Vegas summer heat. When I'm in Japan, I have to have matcha parfait. Even Denny's has good matcha parfait. But my favorite has to be Nakamura Tokichi in Uji. How does Nana's rate? They have matcha, red bean, black sesame, and hojicha in all forms: iced beverage, hot beverage, cake, cookie, and soft serve. If you don't care for any of that, they have regular coffee. They also have savory food like katsu curry, nanban chicken, sukiyaki don, tofu salad, karaage, katsu sando, potato salad - which is not a lot of options compared to their Japan and Seattle locations. I wanted to get a salmon sashimi don but they don't have it at this location so I went somewhere else to get savory food. I ended up just getting parfaits which is the main reason I wanted to come here anyway. Black Sesame Warabi Mochi Parfait: You can't get warabi mochi just everywhere in Vegas. This parfait has warabi mochi, red bean paste, black sesame ice cream with cream and caramel sauce on top. Beneath it, you have cornflakes, cream, and black sesame jelly in caramel sauce. Spoon a bit of cream, ice cream, red bean and then dig your spoon all the way to the bottom to get cornflakes and jelly - do not mix it all together to keep the integrity and texture of every component of the parfait 4/5 Matcha Mochi Parfait: Soft and chewy mochi, red bean paste, matcha ice cream with cream and matcha sauce on top. Under it, you have cornflakes, cream, and matcha jelly in matcha sauce. It's not as great as Nakamura's matcha parfait (which has matcha cream, matcha jelly, chestnuts, red bean paste , rice crispies, matcha jelly, matcha ice cream, mochi, matcha cake giving it a stronger matcha taste and plenty of different textures). I still liked Nana's matcha parfait though 4.5/5 There are several tables with power outlets to charge your electronics. The place is spacious and bright with natural lighting. Service was friendly. You check out the menu outside and be considerate by going to the order counter when you already know what you want, pay, take a number, wait for your food to be delivered to your table. I hope they would add more savory dishes on their menu. I will definitely be back here again and again for the parfait and all things matcha.

Yelp
Welcome to Las Vegas, Nana's Green Tea! Coming from Japan, I believe the Las Vegas location is their second location in the States. Their first being in Seattle. The first time that I tried Nana's was actually in Osaka's airport back in May 2024 so it was really nice to see them open a location here! My husband and I decided to brave the masses and go during their soft opening. We got there at around 1PM and the line was long as it snaked inside the establishment. When we first got there, there was only one cashier but once they added a 2nd cashier, the line moved a bit faster. My husband and I decided to go for... Hojicha latte - for some odd reason, this tasted a bit watered down. I'm not sure if it's because of the ice that melted into it or something else. So for that reason, it's only OK to me. Plus, the one I had in Japan was way better (I know this isn't Japan but this chain is from Japan and the product should be from Japan). Matcha red bean latte w/mochi - my husband got this and he enjoyed it. I thought was decent but the matcha didn't shine as I expected it to. Hojicha mochi parfait - this had hojicha jelly, vanilla soft serve, corn flakes, hojicha ice cream, red bean paste, and mochi. I didn't really taste much in the hojicha jelly but it could be because everything else was more flavorful. The vanilla soft serve was good but the hojicha ice cream was entirely way too sweet -- I only tasted sugar and no tea. I love corn flakes in my parfait so that was great and the mochi had a good texture as well. I wished that this used hojicha soft serve instead of ice cream. Hojicha soft serve - this was my favorite item. It had enough of that tea flavor and it was smooth. Our visit took a total of an hour from lining up to order, ordering, and getting our treats to go. We came back a second time during that same weekend with some friends. The line to order went way faster this time around -- we waited for maybe 15 minutes in line. However, it took a while before our orders came to the table and they actually messed up our friend's order. They are still insanely busy right now so if you haven't gone yet, you may want to wait until it dies down a bit. They're probably still working out the kinks and with the non-stop lines, it can get hectic. The lines can sometimes go out the door and you'll find yourself waiting in the summer heat, which is not ideal as our summers are extremely hot. I'll definitely go back if/when I'm craving for some hojicha soft serve!

Yelp
What a beautiful place! Nice and friendly employees. Shout out to Tamia and Jenalyn for their customer service and efficiency. I got the matcha parfait but wanted more however I was on a tight schedule. Gives me a reason to come back to try other items.

Yelp
Im only basing this on my first experience , and with the black sesame mochi latte! I enjoyed the flavor , not too sweet and the mochi was chewy and fresh! I think i prefer the soft serve next time , as it would not melt into the ice so fast. Next time, we must try the katsu because it seemed to be the popular dish !

Yelp
My daughter and I love matcha and were excited to try Nana's Green Tea. They did not disappoint :) Items tried and liked (so far): Chicken Soboro Don Miso Soup Matcha Brown Sugar Latte Hojicha Caramel Latte Everything was delicious! Drinks had the right amount of sweetness. Despite the long line, we got our drinks and food in a timely manner. Employees were all very nice. Interior was clean. Parking is plentiful but can get crowded depending on time of day. Highly recommend. I hope you decide to check them out :)

Yelp
We finally go to try nanas green tea and it did not disappoint! It was pretty packed in there do we decided to grab to go, we got a couple drinks and love that they were too sweet and strong tasting!! The kids loved the vanilla soft served and the yuzu cheesecake was super refreshing. Def need to come back to try the food.

Yelp
I would always drive by here, excited for a new matcha spot in the city and now that they finally opened here's my experience-- their concept is very similar to urban matcha- on the brighter side they actually sell food plates including all kinds of matcha drinks and soft serves. It is also spacious on the interior allowing a capacity of 78 persons. i ordered the " matcha latte with red bean and mochi" , The idea sounds good and i really was looking forward to it-- however i have to say the presentation of the drink does NOT look like the picture, it is a big rounded lid for just half a side of whip cream at the top?.. and the red bean and mochi are just all the way at the bottom. On the picture it looked different and was looking forward to a nice photogenic presentation. On my matcha latte, the matcha wasn't fully whisked and i had tons of chunks of matcha powder bits in my sips which was not enjoyable at all. When i came in they seemed pretty busy but not that busy to the point where you rush to whisk my matcha.. not giving me a nice first impression of this place. Overall, i like their concept but the presentation of their drinks needs more work to become photogenic and appealing to the eye, and most importantly properly whisking their matcha?!

Yelp
If there's matcha, I'm there! Was super excited to come here for their soft opening and they did not disappoint. There was a small line out the door when I got there but it moved fairly quickly. I came on a weekend so it was definitely packed, but we didn't struggle too much finding seats. Our order came out one at a time, though I do wish everything came out all at once since I was waiting to take a picture of everything haha. We got the warabimochi parfait, brown sugar matcha frappe, and the cream top matcha latte. The parfait was yummy, wish there was more warabimochi though! The matcha latte isn't overly sweet, but if you prefer your matcha on the sweeter side I'd opt for one of the options that have brown sugar or sound sweeter in general. They also have katsu here which was a nice surprise! Didn't get a chance to try it, so definitely need to come back next time :)

Yelp
After missing out on trying Nana's Green Tea in Ikspiari, I was super excited to find out that Vegas was getting a Nana's green tea near me. I went during their soft opening dates on a Thursday at 1pm and the wait wasn't too bad, I didn't have to wait outside thankfully. There was lots of seating with tables and booths so we didn't have a long wait for seating either. I went with a few friends so we could all try their drinks/parfaits together, our order was: Matcha Cream Latte, Hojicha Chocolate Latte, Matcha Brown Sugar Latte, Black Sesame Warabimochi Parfait, and the Matcha Warabimochi Parfait. Starting with the Matcha flavor profile, I found Nana's green tea to be very astringent and vegetal, there were no notes of umami or sweetness. The cream for the matcha cream latte tasted like normal whipped cream and added no sweetness to the drink. I personally dont like when my Matcha is astringent, so I dont appreciate the dry mouthfeel at all. I would skip the Matcha Cream latte and get the Brown Sugar for sweetness or the Soft serve latte to add more creaminess. Their Hojicha on the other hand was amazing, no complaints, it was perfectly nutty, sweet, and creamy. I enjoyed both of the parfaits but definitely preferred the Black Sesame one over the Matcha. The matcha parfait actually tasted better the more you let it sit. I'll definitely be back to try out the Hojicha parfait next time. Since I came during soft opening they're probably still working out the kinks with the high volume of customers lately. Hopefully they will improve here on out and I will definitely visit again to try their soft serves/parfaits.

Yelp
Thurs, July 11th @ 6:35pm....it was a 1-hour wait from when we stood in line to receiving our drinks. Was NANA's GREEN TEA in Las Vegas worth it? Most definitely, especially if you're a ceremonial matcha lover! Plus, you can dine-in to enjoy Japanese food, like Chicken Karaage Curry! I feel like Nana's Green Tea has followed me over the years (LOL!). I used to frequent NGT weekly at More's City in Yokosuka, Japan, back in 2011-2015. Then in Honolulu when it opened at the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. Now, it has opened its first shop on the mainland, right here in Las Vegas!!! Of all places...how lucky are we?? Thank you, NGT, for choosing the entertainment capital of the world! We will not disappoint you!! My family and I wanted to enjoy our matcha beverages with curry dinners, but sadly, they were all sold out of all curry entrees by the time we got to the counter [insert crying emoji here]. That's quite alright though. We will definitely be back!! We thoroughly enjoyed the Vanilla Soft Serve, Matcha Float w/ Mochi, Matcha Red Bean Latte w/ Mochi, Cold Brewed Hoji-cha, and even an Americano! I absolutely loved my matcha float! I knew I'd drink it so fast, so I ordered a 2nd drink to enjoy the next day, the cold brewed hochija (roasted green tea). The parking lot has been pretty full the last two times we have visited...great new shops here like Pipeline Malasadas from Kaimuki on the Hawaiian island of Oahu! Plus, the newest Costco is being built across the street! NGT is in a great location...right off of the 215 freeway!

Yelp
I was very excited to try this new matcha place down the street from our house. I hear from friends that the matcha and the food was very good. Friends told me it was spacious to hang out too. I decided to stop by here and order to go for my drinks and food. I ordered a matcha cream drink, black sesame float, and a karaage curry. My black sesame drink is overly sweet and it tasted more like red bean instead of black sesame and my karaage curry, for it being 15 bucks, is a complete rip off! I should've checked my food before getting back home. I wanted to call the business, but there's no phone number. I understand that this place is still figuring it out and it is also very busy, but I'm honestly so disappointed in the quality of my black sesame drink and my food. Probably won't come back here until they figure it all out.

Yelp
I think this was first week of opening. We came here last Monday and got here right before the crowd. We were able to study the menu. There was a big selection of matcha, red bean, black sesame and coffee drinks to choose from. There was also a lot of dessert drinks to choose from too. We were excited that there was a food menu because we thought we were just getting a drink and grab food after. We ordered the chicken curry katsu and the sukiyaki bowl. The items came out fairly quick. We didn't get soup with our orders, not sure if we needed to order that, but looked like everyone around us got a bowl of miso soup. The katsu chicken was a bit oily and the crust was too thick and over cooked. The ladies sitting next to us didn't eat theirs either. The curry and rice was good though. My sukiyaki was good. The waiter never came around so I couldn't ask if they had shoyu or red pepper. I always like to add it to my sukiyaki. I picked up my fork and was about to eat when I felt the fork prongs had stuck on food. I had my daughter go up and ask for another fork. Once I got the new fork, we shared the bowl and enjoyed our lunch. I wanted a cold coffee but the guy suggested a latte. So o gave it a try and realized, a latte had just a little too much milk for my taste. Next time I'll get the coffee without milk and add a small thing of creamer. The coffee did have a good taste though.

Yelp
I'm a Nana's fan and have been to its locations in Japan and in Waikiki (Honolulu). Just tried this new location in Vegas. It's solid but not as good as Waikiki or Japan locations. Location: Mini Mall about 10 mins from Strip. Plenty of parking. But it gets full as there is almost always a line at the store right now. Menu: full menu of matcha and hojicha sweet treats and drinks. Menu also has savory food. We got cold brew hojicha, iced coffee, matcha warabi cone and hojicha warabi parfait. The drinks are good flavor. But the parfait is just too sweet compared to Japan and even Waikiki locations. Portion size is good for the price. Service: Expect a line and at least 15 mins wait. Staff is quick and efficient taking the order. We ordered cone but got parfait in a glass instead. We just ate it instead of going back and waiting longer given how busy they were. I like the warabi and mochi, but not sure it's worth the wait when Urban Matcha's flavor is just as good and no long wait.

Yelp
7/19 must've been like a grand opening? They had dragon dancers outside to celebrate. We got there at 11:02 and the line was already wrapped around the side. They had a tent and fan for those waiting outside. Took 50 minutes to finally get to the cashier to place our order. I think it's reasonably priced. Ordered: matcha latte (ok), matcha soft serve (good), matcha float (yum), matcha parfait (yum) - but everything was on the just a tad too sweet side and sweetness cannot be adjusted. Chicken curry katsu (comes with tofu miso soup) (good) and chicken karaage salad (good). Server was very nice. Our order came out pretty quickly, maybe 10 minutes?

Yelp
I just love it here, this is my new fav matcha spot. I love that the matcha is real and not the gross stuff a lot of places are using. The staff are incredibly nice and knowledgeable! I love the space, lots of seating too. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Stopped by Nana's Green Tea with some friends on a Friday night. The place has only recently opened and was already busy--every table was full even an hour before closing. There's a good amount of seating considering most places like this don't offer many tables. We ordered a Matcha parfait, a black sesame parfait, and I got the Matcha and vanilla soft serve. Everything tasted good and was nicely presented. The flavors were subtle and not too sweet, which we liked. Nothing mind-blowing, but still a solid treat. It's a nice spot if you're into Matcha or Japanese-style desserts. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd if you plan on swinging by.

Yelp
Second time visiting, but this time I came for more than just the matcha -- I decided to try the food too. Let me start with the star of the show: the matcha. Still incredible. Smooth, earthy, and not overly sweet -- just how I like it. It's clear they know their craft when it comes to quality matcha. As for the food, I was a bit underwhelmed. I ordered the chicken curry, and unfortunately, the chicken was on the dry side. The flavor had potential, but the texture missed the mark for me. I probably wouldn't order it again, but that's not stopping me from coming back. There's still so much on the menu I want to try (that parfait is calling my name), and the ambiance is super cozy -- perfect for catching up with a friend or solo journaling with a latte in hand. Taking off one star just for the food this round, but I'll definitely be back for my matcha fix.

Yelp
Nana's Green Tea was packed and it just opened! My husband and I came in for lunch on a Friday and I wanted to try everything on the menu. I ended up getting a chicken katsu curry and he got the karaage salad. Both were good! The karaage was perfectly fried and I loved the dressing on the salad. The curry was good, nothing extraordinary, but hit the spot. For drinks we got an iced uji-cha and an iced hojicha latte. Both were really good quality. The only thing, is the prices are a little high as we ended up spending $45 for lunch. I want to come back and try their soft serve and desserts which I'm sure is the star of the menu! Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
Busy place for opening week and I will go back to it. The cold matcha latte came sweet, I prefer unsweetened matcha so it's sitting in my fridge. Iced matcha was very good. Plenty of real matcha in the bottom of cup. The place was packed with no open tables and they were trying to clean as they could but it was terribly busy so several tables always needed cleaned. Probably 20 people in line the entire time I was there. Pork katsu was fine. Chicken karrage (fried chicken) was very tasty.

Yelp
A new addiction of match to the Vegas area has everyone hyped up to try it out. It's located in a new plaza across Costco. The plaza itself doesn't have a lot of parking but hopefully that changes soon. Since it is still a hype, the line get pretty long. On a Monday afternoon (a week after soft opening), I waited about 20 minutes in line although I felt like I waited longer in line than for the drinks and food. I tried their matcha latte soft serve w/ chocolate crunch in a large size which is pretty pricey at $8. It definitely does taste like they used good quality matcha but nothing different from making it myself at home. Their chicken katsu came in a good portion with miso soup. I liked the breading on the katsu and it was more than enough to fill a person. The chicken nanban on the other hand was a little disappointing. The chicken looked a lot smaller compared to the portion of a chicken katsu. It tasted okay, nothing special. While eating and drinking, I noticed the whole cafe was on the warmer side. To my surprise they had their thermostat at 83F! That seemed a little too warm especially in the Vegas summer. Maybe it's still their soft opening so they still have some stuff to work on.

Yelp
This place is packed. But I don't know how I feel about the drinks and the dessert though. It's too pricey for a matcha red bean mochi latte and matcha mochi parfait. I hope it's worth every penny.

Yelp
First thoughts on Nana's green tea is that I should've waited a while before trying. The hype is STRONG, so the wait is long and the staff are overwhelmed with customers. Despite being busy though, staff were working well together and serving everyone with smiles. Went to their soft opening, waited in line about 1 hour. After ordering, the drinks came out quickly! Maybe less than a 10minute wait. They offer a ton of different variations of their matcha drinks, plus some hojicha, black sesame, and coffee drink options. For desserts they offer soft serve in a cone or parfait style, as well as some cheesecakes. What surprised me is that they have real food that looked and smelled amazing. Once the hype dies down, I'm excited to actually order food/dessert and be able to sit down and enjoy a meal there. From what I saw, their food is well-presented and people were happy with what they got! As for what we ordered, we tried the matcha latte with soft serve and their brown sugar black sesame latte. The matcha was good quality and strong. I liked the flavor on its own because it had that strong earthy taste! If you're not into that, mixing the soft serve into it made it taste more like a regular matcha latte (creamier/sweeter). 4/5 Love that they actually sell their matcha and hojicha too, making it easy for people to make it at home if they choose. The brown sugar black sesame latte was iced but came out more like an ice blended drink. This was a very sweet/creamy drink, think like a frappacino from Starbucks. 2.5/5

Yelp
It's super busy since they just opened. Tbh I gave them a second (or triple) chance since they were closed but google maps show open on soft opening week. The frappes were good. Price pretty much standard, menu kinda like urban matcha in chinatown and they have all kinds of soft serve, parfait and lattes. We had the brown sugar frappe and sesame latte. Both were tasty. Would I come back again? Probably after it cools down but not right now where line is still long. We have waited 10+ min for our drinks. 4.5/5

Yelp
Stopped on a Sunday around lunchtime to check out Nana's Green Tea. Unfortunately, as a new matcha place a lot of other people had the same idea. The parking lot was very busy and there was a line out the door. About 30 minutes and we at least were waiting inside the building. It's a new restaurant, so everything is new and clean. The staff was hard at work trying to keep up with the demand. We tried several items from the menu but there wasn't enough space to eat inside and took the food to the car in the parking lot. Their matcha ice cream is really great! Their tonkatsu is also very good. Their curry was good but they do have large chunks of onions, which I personally don't care for. However, their matcha was on the grainy side and okay, but not the best I've had in town. Would go back, but not for their matcha.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday after church. The line was out the door. We still waited and I'm glad we did. It was worth the wait. Our plan was to only order dessert but we ended up ordering food. I tried the chicken katsu curry and it was magical! My wife tried the chicken karage salad and she loved it. Our friend ordered the pork katsu curry and she loved it as well. I tried a piece of the pork and I give a slight advantage on the pork. The pork was tastier and more juicy. Not saying the chicken katsu wasn't good cuz it was. Next time I try pork katsu. The star of the show is the matcha mochi parfait. The matcha wasn't bitter to me and it was light. The ice cream wasn't overly sweet but the mochi was amazing! The whole parfait was amazing. Lots of tables and they go quick. There is a line outside and a line outside but they both go quick. We ate inside. They often clean the tables off and grab your trays. It's a great place and I hope everyone tries it. Thank you Nana's Green Tea! We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Their parfait/food is good but service is not the best. Ordered two parfaits for dine in and one was delivered in a to go cup. Server asked if we needed an extra spoon and I told her no as we were still waiting on one more parfait. After 30ish mins still nothing so my sister asked the staff at the counter and she was told that it's been sitting on the to go counter for 30mins (melted and all) and if she wanted them to make her a new one. They did make her a new one and it came 15 mins later.

Yelp
We didn't realize we came during their soft opening which explained the long line in this heat!! I understand they are working the kinks but props to them on their marketing because it definitely brought in the crowd. There are tables for indoor dining but not enough for the people they are accommodating. We suggested to the owner to allow people who have ordered to find a table instead of having people who haven't yet save them. Nothing worse than having your food and nowhere to sit. However place is pretty clean. I think when all the wrinkles are ironed out and things roll out much faster, this will be a great place for matcha and their Japanese food. We had the matcha parfait and red bean matcha latte and wanted the katsu don but had run out so we settled for curry chicken katsu with sauce on the side. My husband says it's reminiscent of the street food in Japan. The parfait has a wonderful texture with the added cornflakes topping. And the matcha latte was equally good. I did have trouble tasting the red bean though. Overall a great place. Giving grace with it just opening. Worth giving it a shot but just know you'll be waiting a long while

Yelp
Food 5/5 - tried the chicken katsu curry plate which came with rice and miso soup. The chicken was high quality and the curry was flavorful. Also tried their matcha softserve, hands down the smoothest and in my opinion best soft serve I've ever had. Drinks 5/5 - tried both the matcha latte and hojicha cold brew, both drinks had strong respective flavors and were not overly sweet which was a plus! Service 5/5 - look this place has only been opened for a day and there were A TON of customers, regardless, the employees were super kind and helpful and had a great attitude. Interior 5/5 - inside was clean, open, and well designed, would definitely be a nice place to chill and relax once the crowd dies down. Would definitely recommend visiting Nana's! (Just be prepared to wait 45-60 minutes to order/for your food unless you wait a few weeks for the crowd to die down, give the employees a break during the initial opening, everyone is trying their best).

Yelp
I've always been a fan of Nana's matcha parfaits & was so happy to hear they opened up a Vegas location. Went a few weeks after opening on a Sunday & waited in total about 45min. The 2nd time I went on a Saturday & the wait was down to maybe 10min thankfully. Most recently I tried the hojicha warabimochi parfait & it was delicious. Loved the different layers and the small portion was good for me & my friend to share. Love their matcha latte as it's not too sweet & not bitter or powdery. Definitely crowded on the weekends for a reason!

Yelp
Finally made it to Nana's to taste what the hoopla is all about. Ordered the Matcha Brown Sugar Latte iced and oooh WOW! This was the best matcha drink I ever had. Normally I can't ever finish any drinks I get, unless it's beer or whiskey, wink-wink.. I finished this matcha real quick and had no issues. I'm going to be a regular customer for sure. The vibe is cool, very spacious and the staff were nice. Forgot to take a picture as I was so eager to try it.

Yelp
Staff was friendly. Cashiers were nice and my order was brought out in a timely manner. I got the hojicha mochi float. The mochi has a nice texture. The hojicha flavor itself was good but not too strong. Personally I prefer a mild taste so it was great for me. The hojicha ice cream was good although some parts of it had an icy texture while other parts of it was soft and creamy. I'm not sure if they use their hojicha soft serve for the float or something else but all in all it was pretty good. The star of the show for me was the chicken katsu curry. It was probably one of the best chicken katsus I've ever had in vegas. It comes with miso soup which is nice and it's a nice generous portion for its price! It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating for those coming to chill/study. Very clean and well-kept by the staff. Bathrooms are single person and clean but the only thing i'd recommend is installing a hook on the door or wall so that a person can hang their bag or coat.
