The 16 Best Bakeries in O‘ahu | Eater

"Fernando Paez (nicknamed Nanding) came from the Philippines to Honolulu in 1996 and started selling his baked goods at bus stops. Now Nanding’s Spanish rolls are so beloved they’re found in 7-Elevens across the state. But it’s best to get them straight from the bakery, where the soft rolls emerge warm, the molten butter of their salty-sweet centers quickly seeping through the brown paper bag." - Martha Cheng

Nanding's is a local institution. People have been coming to their stores since they were kids, particularly for their Spanish Rolls. This is not the original location, but it's definitely a welcome addition to their list of locations since the other ones are on the other side of the island. This one is located next-door to Zippy's Kapahulu. There are a few parking stalls on the side of the building along with ample street parking if the stalls are full. As I alluded to, my go to order is a couple dozen of the Spanish rolls. Every other time I get there, I have to wait around 5 to 10 minutes for the rolls, but I am not at all upset by this because it means that they're coming to me fresh and hot out of the oven. Another thing to know is that everything here is extremely affordable . I can't remember a time that I walked out of here spending more than $20. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Spanish roll is always awesome👏🏻👏🏻 Price is also very cheap!

I like the pastries here. They are amazing value for fresh baked good in Honolulu. There are three other awesome bakeries in town where you can get French pastries and such for triple the price or more. The gentleman who greeted me had been working in the back and I asked if they had anything fresh out of the oven. Hot and fresh always tastes better. He very kindly offered to freshly bake Spanish Rolls for me if I could wait 10 minutes! Yes, please! I left with a dozen hot rolls, three scones and four pastries with various fillings for $30. Unless you are craving European pastries, this is where to go. Also, can buy for plenty of friends, family.

Nothing crazy to write home about decent food. The service was phenomenal. The atmosphere was pretty basic. It was just an In-N-Out. No tables or anything. Maybe it's from what we ordered but it wasn't anything special.

Visited this place for the first time today. My wife kept talking about their butter rolls, so we bought some. They were delicious, but their Spanish rolls... talk about addictive. They were hot with butter on the bottom and so soft. My taste buds were in for a treat, and my tummy was even happier. The girl behind the counter was friendly and sweet. Great little place for Spanish rolls, breakfast pockets, and other pastries. My new place to stop and grab a quick box of delicious Spanish rolls. There is also a variety of Spanish rolls as well.

Google
Incredibly unprofessional and absolutely no customer service. I pre-ordered 2 dozen one rolls and 2 dozen regular Spanish rolls. I confirmed my order when I picked it up but when I got to my work gathering, there were 4 dozen of the regular rolls. I called the bakery and they initially they refused to acknowledge their mistake. They tried to convince me that we did have a conversation about the ube rolls and different price but I ended up passing and only ordering 2 dozen regular. When I told the manager Roland that the employee at pick up clearly had an order for 2 dozen ube and 2 dozen regular with a total of 4 dozen prepared and boxed, he still tried to tell me my order was for only 2 dozen regular. After a ridiculously long conversation, he finally admitted to his employee’s mistake but just said “sorry”. An honest customer looking for honest business and unfortunately Roland clearly does not believe in integrity. Avoid this place like the plague. I will post a review every day until they learn how to treat honest paying customers.

The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The Spanish rolls are the best!!!! Great value for money in Waikiki where everything is so expensive.

Google
The pastries were delicious, it was a quick easy in easy out. If you stumble upon this spot on a walk or have just always been meaning to step inside... just do it. Buy like 3 or 4 pastries and nibble at them when you get home.

Yelp
Nanding's Bakery is a hidden gem of a locally owned bakery that is a block off Kapahulu. The tiny shop is bustling in the morning as local parents and children stop by for a freshly-baked breakfast pastry before heading to work and school. The bakery is Filipino owned and is most famous for their sweet rolls. I was intrigued by the assortment of savory rolls including sausage and bacon rolls. The pastries were beautiful. I settled in on a bacon roll that was delicious. The clerk is sweet and carefully wrapped my roll. Prices are incredibly affordable. Where can you get a fresh breakfast pastry for $2? There is some awkward parking out front, but I walked. It's not too far from Waikiki or Diamond Head. There there early for the best selection.

Yelp
Well I've been to Nanding Bakery in Kalihi also Waipahu before many times . Here on Campbell and Kapahuluu I think 2 times . Overall I would say average Philippino bakery they carry all kinds of sweets .Uber rolls , Ensaymada , adobo roll, ham & cheeese roll, hot dog and their specialties Spanish rolls. I was very disappointed in their Adobo Roll as you can see in my pics . I literally took 2 bites and I still didn't reach the filling . Lots of bread not enough filling . $2.39 a pop I think they should put a little more Adobo filling . Service was a little slow as well I put in a pre-order for Tuesday for my co-workers and the counter person showed some confusion. I'm hoping that she got the date and time for pick up correct . Sometimes you just get the feeling that there going to mess up your orders . Parking is very limited 3 stalls on the side of the building if not street parking is available . Support local when can

Yelp
Fresh Spanish roll always good to bring!! Who wouldn't like this?! Small shop always empty! Easy grab and go!

Yelp
Nanding's is a Filipino bakery known for delicious Spanish Rolls which is a bread roll with a traditionally sweet filling made of breadcrumbs, butter or margarine, and brown sugar. I was happy to see they were open very early in the morning and we stopped by the bakery to get some pre-tournament snackies. The bakery was empty and their shelves were fully stocked. They've got all kinds of goodies available like ensamada, pandesal, pianono, puto, bread, and so much more. They even have savory options like sausage rolls! I was in a bit of a rush so I kind of randomly picked whatever looked interesting which happened to be almost everything ube, lol. Ube spanish rolls, ube cream filled pandesal, ube silang, and a sausage roll, etc. Definitely recommend taking your time if you can though because there were so many other things I wanted to try after looking back on my photos! The spanish rolls were unsurprisingly delicious and I enjoyed the ube cream pandesal as well. Definitely recommend a stop here if you're craving Filipino pastries! It made me nostalgic for mornings in the Philippines with fresh baked pandesal. Best part is, they're reasonably priced and won't break the bank!

Yelp
Spanish rolls! The best thing ever invented and Nanding's does it the best. Always warm, fresh, and so buttery. Love to come here to pick up for larger gatherings bc you can get a lot for a decent price. Service is always friendly and quick.
google avatar

Yelp
Nanding's is a bakery offering all the basic breads you'd hope to find. There are ube variations, rolls, and many other types. They also carry more filling options like rolls with sausages or ham and cheese. Arrive early to get a fresh batch of baked goods. There's no seating inside and no restrooms. There is a tiny table that can maybe tit two people on it. There is also a cold drink cabinet. Don't expect to find any tourists here, this is a truly local's spot.

Yelp
Came here to try the Spanish rolls, they are the same as Señorita bread at star bakery in San Diego. They are small and light have a slight sweetness and saltiness to them and come hot out of the oven or most likely reheated in the oven as you order them. I thought they were good but think the ones in San Diego are better. They also have a bunch of other pastries that look good, I'll probably get one of those next time instead. Theres a small parking lot that holds 2-3 cars max, so be prepared to find street parking. People seem to like them which is why I came here for my small party. They are pretty inexpensive but also pretty small. They are 70¢ each if you order individually or 63¢ if you order by the dozen. Friendly and patient staff, my brother got a few other items so maybe that's the way to go.

Yelp
This is the Kapahulu store which is at the beginning of Campbell Ave, next to Zippy's. There's parking on the side but only a few and a weird because you need to jump the curb to get into the parking spot. Parking aside, you must come here to get the famous fresh hot Spanish rolls! So soft, sweet but not sugary sweet and buttery. Heaven! They also sell other baked Filipino goods like ensaymada, pandesal, ube rolls. If you're not picky there's also day olds for a very good price. Whatever you pick up in addition to those Spanish rolls, you can't go wrong!

Yelp
Good place for Spanish roles. Priced reasonably when u have to buy a lot for party. Pastry is always good and they have a large variety. Service is so good, the staff is pleasant and helpful
google avatar

Yelp
I was so hoping to find a good Filipino bakery close by. While some of items looked tasty, but banana, lumpia, other typical bakery items, or not being made anymore because they said they didn't sell. The only thing I really bought was their soft bread. It was authentic. The rest of the stuff in the store that I'd hope they got was not typical Filipino, but looked tasty! They never answered their phones I called him at least 10 times to see what they had before driving there , just so you know and service is a bit on the rude side.

Yelp
Ube-tter believe I'm in love with Nanding's Bakery! Arriving early meeting a friend for lunch at a nearby restaurant I found myself staring at this bakery as it has been on my radar for quite some time though I can't image why it took me so long is mind boggling. Home of the Spanish Rolls and more this bakery is just a block from Kapahulu right up on Campbell Ave I had no idea they had so many yummy baked goods. Walking in you'll see wall to wall display case filled with baked goods along with pre-packed items making it super easy for a grab and go. Ube Cheese Pandesal, Spanish Rolls, Chocolate Custard Pockets and so much more my head was spinning wanting it all. I really just wanted to get something for my work peeps tomorrow morning and decided on a pre-bagged Ube Pandesal what a easy peasy find! They open at 5am daily which is insane though for peeps like me who work days does make it super convenient and will definitely keep them in mind for a quick and easy breakfast mode. Thank you!

Yelp
Very convenient but limited parking. You just drive up, park, then walk around to the front door of this little bakery off Kapahulu Ave. Can't believe it was my first time to this local favorite after all these years! Everyone always gets the Spanish rolls because they're GOOD, easy to eat and very affordable so I never knew that they sell a lot of other items. With a wide selection of interesting pastries ranging from lup Chong roll, to corn beef hash to ube cream, I got very distracted and even more indecisive than I already am. So I got one of each since but because I didn't try all of them, I can't rate them all. I also grabbed a prepackaged bag of Ube pandesol because the bright purple was so eye catching. While I liked the variety of savory options, they're not as refined as the ones at Japanese bakeries like Brug. Still 5 stars for the Spanish rolls one of the best buys in town!

Yelp
Tucked away down the street from Leonard's, this bakery is just as amazing, if not even better--and it opens earlier (if you happen to be up at 5am due to jet lag, a sunrise hike or for other iconic activities in the area)! Ube pandesal with cheese and all the fruit pockets (pastries with fruit fillings like mango or apple) are so delicious, that we went back twice during our one-week stay in the area. The pastries and baked goods are also ridiculously inexpensive given the quality. We spent less than $10 (the credit card minimum) for FOUR treats for our family. Best to eat them fresh and same-day, if you don't have a microwave to warm them up!
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
Nice selection always fresh they have both savory and sweet selections. They have manapua and their coconut pastries are very good not too sweet they have a lupchong and aribiki roll that are fantastic

Yelp
Adding Nanding's Bakery to the list of places to eat when in Honolulu... 5 stars!!!!! At our last visit to Oahu, a relative raved about the Spanish rolls at Nanding's Bakery. I didn't get too excited since I've had Spanish rolls from Filipino bakeries in Southern California, and I'm not really a fan. Nanding's Bakery was an easy walk from where we stayed so we decided to try them out after a morning jog. My mind is blown and it's no wonder why our relative raved about them! So buttery delicious with the perfect amount of crispiness on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. Our treats were finished after walking just a couple of blocks! So tempted to go right back to pick up more, but had to save our appetite for an upcoming big lunch. Definitely making a stop, maybe two stops, at Nanding's Bakery to get the Spanish Rolls everytime we're in Honolulu. Also looking forward to trying out the other baked offerings, but I'm most looking forward to an entire box of Spanish rolls!

Yelp
Very nostalgic Filipino bakery pretty close by to Leonard's. They're known for their ube cheese pan de sal and spanish rolls, but we got a variety to try. Around 9am, it was pretty empty! We got ube cheese pan de sal, ube spanish roll, corned beef pan de sal, portuguese sausage roll, hot dog bun, and ube ensaymada. I really enjoyed the pan de sal! 5 stars for this cute bun. The cheese is a little bit sweet, like cream cheese but not overpowering. A lot of the breads were a little too thick (3 stars for everything else), especially the ensaymada. not fluffy and soft like Goldilocks/Red Ribbon. Prices definitely can't be beat though!! I think everything would be 10x better if warmed, but we were taking these to go on the road.
google avatar

Yelp
Really good bakery! The owners and employees are really nice! Everything here is delicious especially their Macadamia nut cookies, Siopao (steam pork buns) and especially their Spanish rolls straight out of the oven!
google avatar

Yelp
OMG! This quaint, small bakery has a treasure trove of tasty goods! At an Open House we attended, the realtor served Spanish rolls for a snack. She mentioned Nanding's. We just moved to Honolulu from North Carolina, & let me tell you, there's nothing there as far as Asian pastries! WoW! From savory items to delicious sweet pastries that are perfect! If you're looking for large, massive pastries, this place is not for you-they're not overly big- items are perfect portions. Service was amicable- when asked, "what is your favorite pastry", he replied ALL of them!!! What a cute sales pitch! We tried three different items, and all were yummy!

Yelp
Get the Spanish Rolls!!! Fresh and hot out of the oven, the Spanish Rolls are sooo good. Eat them while they are still warm. Order in sets of 3 for $1.20. Packed in a simple brown paper bag, they are worth the drive to Nanding's Bakery on Martha Street. No photos, because we couldn't wait to eat them. Ube, ube, ube. The ube ensaymada was so delicious. Perfect pastry filled with a delicious ube filling. The ube cream cheese pandesal was so light and fluffy filled with a tangy cream cheese. Check out their bags of day old pastries if you want to buy a variety bag or two. The customer ahead of me bought 10 bags for $1 to $1.50 each to freeze and bring back to her family in Portland.

Mini C.

Yelp
Always go there for Spanish rolls. With the inflation, the roll gets small. I always like to eat it right the way when it is warm. Would not able to stop at least consumed 3-4 rolls. Somehow they tasted a little dry this time. Wish them the best.
google avatar

Terri C.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in, you can smell all the deliciousness that Nanding's has to offer. Getting their soft, sweet Spanish Rolls is a must, but this amazing Filipino bakery also has fresh pan de sal, ensaymada, ube bread, and much more. I always make time to stop by when I visit Waikiki. It's literally carb heaven on earth. They open at 5am, just in time to get a box of goodness to go with your morning coffee!
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
The Spanish rolls is literally the only thing I, and many of the locals, get at Nanding's. its so freaking good--soft and fluffy with the brown sugary inside. i love buying a dozen or two and bringing it to whatever potluck, party, or meeting i attend!
google avatar

Kristi D.

Yelp
Super affordable, quality products, efficient and friendly staff members. Has their own smallish parking lot, and located just off Kapahulu behind Zippy's. Spanish rolls are a family fave!
google avatar

Monica Y.

Yelp
Went to Nanding's right off of Kapahulu early morning before work to buy some pastries for my workers. The earlier the better so you have a lot of options to choose from. There were a few people in there when I got there but the line went by pretty fast. I can't remember the exact name but it was like ube butter Spanish rolls. And I also got an apple & blueberry cream cheese puffs which was like a napple. I was going to get the cheese pandesal because that's always my go to but decided I should try something different & I'm glad I did because they were all good. I didn't know until I got there that there's a side parking lot which is super convenient so you don't have to worry about trying to find street parking. The guy that was helping me was really really nice too. Especially with putting up with my decisiveness. Didn't get to take pictures but definitely will be back and will post my next desserts!
google avatar

Leif E.

Yelp
Spanish rolls, spanish rolls, spanish rolls. I have a spanish rolls problem. And now, so does my workplace. Everybody's first guess when I bring them to the office is Nandings- that tells you something good about Nandings.
google avatar

Yvonne Y.

Yelp
Wanna try something Ube and went to Island Village since it's close to our hotel. The line is insane! I think it would take at least an hour to get an ube bagel. So, I search on Yelp for the rescue! Found this place that looks promising. It's only a few mins drive from us. Got a box of goodies and drove to The Curb to pickup some awesome coffee. We had our delicious breakfast at the parking lot. It is the perfect winning combo. Trust me and you don't need to deal with the crowd. My fav is the ube with cream cheese filling. Spanish rolls are delish as well.
google avatar

Rebecca W.

Yelp
Ooh, what an awesome unassuming bakeshop! Located between Zippy's Kapahulu and Guava Smoked, this is the perfect place to pick some dessert to take home. They specialize in a lot of ube pastries here. You really can't go wrong with anything you choose. We bought a variety, as you can see in the pictures. My favorite was probably the Scones (blueberry flavor and chocolate flavor were both delcious!) and the Ube Ensaymada. The scone had the perfect consistency! Thick flour, yet moist. The Ensaymada was a burst of creaminess that I cannot even describe. The Ube Cream Cheese Pandesal was fluffy, creamy, and flavorful, but on the sour side. I normally like Cream Cheese, but this was slightly too tangy for me. The Ube Pocket was great also! Basically a fluffy puff pastry type of desert but with ube filling. AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE SPANISH ROLLS!!! The hype is real folks!!!! Trust it and order. Not one, not 3...not 6, but all the spanish rolls that they have in stock. That's what I wish I did.... I cannot properly describe the taste in words themselves; you'll just have to go and try it for yourself! The balance of salty and sweet in this oh so scrumptious roll is to die for. Eat em while they're hot!! $10 credit card minimum, which shouldn't be a problem considering how DANK these pastries are!
google avatar

Nanea L.

Yelp
Yummy!!!! $10 minimum for card and the cookies sell out fast. Obsesssssed AF I can't get enough of this place. I basically workout so I can eat these delicious calorie loaded treats lmao
google avatar

Crystal L.

Yelp
Spanish rolls are prefect for any occasion! Got 3 dozen for a birthday. They're also okay the next day, after microwave for 20 secs
google avatar

Rudy H.

Yelp
It's a good neighborhood Filipino bakery with awesome selection of ube pastries. Everything are displayed neatly and it makes you want to just try everything. Well that is what I did, kind of. I ordered eight pastries and the total cost was only $10.14 including tax. If you don't have time to think what to get, I suggest you to just get a box and fill it up with whatever. There is $10 minimum for paying with a card anyway.
google avatar

Shawn M.

Yelp
Just went there to pick up Spanish Rolls for mom's birthday cause that's one of the very few things or maybe the only thing she asked for. Ordered her Rolls and went to pay and remembered they had a$10 minimum on card purchases. Awwww shucksie daisies darn, I guess I gotta order me a Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Tuna Roll... why why why Nandings?!?!?! Hahahaha So, the thing we and from what I know alot of other people go here for and what they're known for is their Spanish Rolls. Especially fresh from the oven. So good. And priced not bad too. $3 something for half dozen. I'll take 6 please. Here you go Sir. Oops, Sorry ma'am, I meant 6 dozen. Oh, you're ordering for a party? Ummmm, sure, we'll go with that. Oh, and I forgot to thank them for opening a location in my neighborhood. You make Shawn happy!!!

Yelp
The food was delicious, I order 6 Spanish rolls and it was the best I ever have, the Service was really nice too

Yelp
Growing up Filipino and always having Filipino pastries at family parties I have been missing some of my favorite ones since Covid started. When I was a kid I used to wake up at 5 am just to drive down and get freshly baked pandesal from the bakery on Kauai. So when I heard about Nandings bakery and seeing that they served most of my favorite Filipino pastries I had to try it! I have visited this place twice before and each time I have had a different opinion. I think the biggest thing that stood out to me is that you have to go super early in order to get the fresh items. When I went a little after 10 am, the ube cheese pandesal was hard and the cream cheese inside was chunky which I didn't really like. It probably just needed to be heated a little but I was not patient enough to do that. The other time I visited, the baked goods were a tad better. That time I had the ensaymadas which were super creamy and sugary which I loved a lot! The ube cheese pandesal was a bit more fresh that time but I just wish the cream cheese was melted a little more when I wanted to take my first bite. The customer service is alright, sometimes I get really nice people helping me and other times they just stand there and wait for me to point to which one I want. However, I don't really let it bother me. I definitely recommend this place if you love Filipino baked goods!
google avatar

Robyn C.

Yelp
Visited HI and knew I had to make a stop here. This really reminds me of bakeries i the Philippines. The breads soft and you just KNOW you want to dip it in your morning coffee. Ended up getting a couple of spanish rolls and an ube cheese pandesal. Just delicious. Make sure you bring cash if you know its going to be a smaller purchase. ($10 min)
google avatar

Manny M.

Yelp
Love the Spanish rolls and cream cheese ube pandesal. Getting it fresh is best!! Although I came by a few times on Tuesdays and it was closed. Maybe hours have changed. But still love the Spanish rolls
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
This review is solely for the Spanish rolls which deserve all the stars. Grab a box of a dozen rolls (for almost dirt cheap) and be met with soft, hot, buttery goodness. I went later in the day, about an hour before closing time, so I was afraid the quality would reflect that, but it was as if I had the first, freshest batch of the day. It was a perfect snack while waiting in line for Tonkatsu Tamafuji only a short walk away. Although I'd return for the Spanish rolls alone, all the other items in the case looked tempting too!
google avatar

Colette C.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting the islands so I wanted to make sure to visit the hype spots for pastries and sweets to cater to my sweet tooth addiction. Arrived here on a Saturday morning around 9am. Nothing fancy walking in but everything smelled of hot and freshness! I originally came here for anything ube and was sad that they all ran out for the morning already!! I should have known it will sell out quickly lol! But lucky for me, they had 2 ube pandesal filled with cream cheese left! Of course I had dibs on that. There's a $10 minimum for card and I unfortunately had no cash on me atm so I bought a few ham and cheese as well, also very fresh and tasty. Had to make another stop here early morning before my flight back home because I wasn't satisfied with just 2 ube pandesal. I was able to buy 5 my second trip around! I would come back here to try other pastries next time I'm ever in Hawaii.
google avatar

Valeree Y.

Yelp
First time coming here and I wanted to buy all the Spanish rolls. Everything looked so good! Great service, open really early near the Waikiki area. I would have to agree on some of the other reviews though. Some of the Spanish rolls just didn't have enough filling. It tasted bland. I would like to try other places to compare taste but it's still a great place!
google avatar

Michaela G.

Yelp
We found this little gem last trip to Oahu. This Filipino bakery has so many yummy goodies! The ensaymadas, and flaky fruit pockets are such tasty sweet treats . The Portuguese sausage and spam rolls are perfect for to go breakfast! I bought sone for our flight home last time. They have ube pan de sal too! This bakery will transport you to the Philippines!
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
I had jet lag and woke up early, getting go the bakery shortly after it opened. I got the Spanish rolls while they were fresh and warm. They were amazing. The ube rolls were delicious. I also got a Chinese sausage roll and it was tasty. I ordered quite a bit and they held up the following day.
google avatar

Lon H.

Yelp
A friend recommended I try Nanding's Bakery, since she knows of my sweet tooth addiction. We arrived in the afternoon, so they were already sold-out of a few items. However, I can always find something to my liking. We tried the Arabiki Rolls, Apple Pocket, Guava Cheese Pocket and some Spanish Rolls. We really enjoyed the dough on all the pastries, since they were buttery soft. The Arabiki Rolls were delish, as were the Apple and Guava Cheese Pockets. We enjoyed the Spanish Rolls by reheating them in our microwave. The staff were really friendly and gave us good advice on what to order.
google avatar

Corina Q.

Yelp
They were open on MLK day so I decided to pick up a few spanish rolls for my friends. Got there at about 8:30am and ordered 1.5 dozen spanish rolls (3/$1.20). They've increased their prices by a few cents since the last time I came (I believe it was 3/$1). The worker was quick to pack the spanish rolls in the back and ring me up. By the time I left there was a short line out the door! COVID guidelines limits the number of people in the store to 3, so you may have to wait a few minutes outside. I got home to see that the worker gave me a few extra spanish rolls! It made walking in the rain much more worth it, and all of my friends loved them!

Opala K.

Yelp
It says they close at 5pm. I have gone there several times around 4pm and they are closed! If you consistently close at a certain time, then please change the closing time. Please don't give us customer false hope to drive there and it's closed.
google avatar

Virgilynn B.

Yelp
I'd say these Spanish rolls are better and cheaper than Starbread. Too bad there isn't a Nandings Bakery in California. The only regret I had was not ordering more. It was light, buttery, and freshly baked. Definitely a good dessert or just to have for bfast with coffee or tea.

Yelp
TL:DR - Great bakery that serves up awesome ube flavored goodies. You get a good bang for your buck. Nanding Bakery is located just behind the Zippy's in Kapahulu and was a random find for me. I wanted some pastries after surfing one day and accidentally came upon this bakery. They have an incredible assortment of baked goods from breads, pastries, rolls, to cookies, etc. I've been back multiple times since then and have pretty much gotten everything they have to offer. My personal favorites are definitely the ube pandesal and the ensamadas. They are light and fluffy with a ton of flavor packed into both. The Spanish rolls are also worth noting, but I feel like they're only good warm. Honestly everything there is super good and I would suggest getting 1 of everything, that's what I did. Hahahaha

Yelp
Ube cheese is very good. It's very soft and the favor of cheese inside is like yogurt.

Yelp
The pastries are the highlight of this place, but surprisingly the chocolate scone was also a huge hit. This long-time business is raved about and loved by locals for a reason. So glad I stopped by here. Also, the chocolate cheese pastry was AWESOME!

Yelp
Ordered a variety of goods, but my favorites were the ube pandesal and adobe filled pastry/bread! Make sure yall come through first thing in the morning so it's hot and fresh out of the oven! No dine in, take out only!

Yelp
This is a review for the Spanish Rolls here. If you like soft and fluffy, yet buttery and slightly sweet hot bread rolls, then there is nothing better than these Spanish Rolls. I'm a bread connoisseur and I have eaten all sorts of brea around the world so I know my bread, trust me. Nothing. We've lived around this neighborhood for a long time and never stopped by (the outside of this place is nothing to write home) and even when you step inside it still doesn't scream gooey yummy hot rolls to die for. Even the pictures will not do justice to how good they are. But please be adventurous and try them. Actually, plan to buy a dozen because you will easily eat a few as soon as you get them, and you can heat it up in the oven for breakfast and still ridiculously yummy. I'm drooling as I write this!!!

Yelp
These folks open early so it's great for quick pickups. Check out the Ube Cheese Pandesal next time you're there. Soooo good and just the right amount of sweet!
