I guess the word is finally out about how good Nandoo's is. I can see four years ago Dahi Puri (my favorite) cost only $4.99. Two years ago it was up to $5.99. Today I paid $7.99, but it was worth it. The Dahi puri here is honestly the best I've found in Little India. There are layers of sauces and seasonings, all topped with fresh ingredients. It's a fine balance to keep the puri just a bit crunchy when it's drenched in green chutney, tamarind sweet sauce, and Dahi/curd. I love that each plate of this is made to order and dressed with chopped fresh red onion, fresh diced tomatoes, and covered in a nice helping of cilantro. The sev provides an added crunch that's needed with all the liquids. This is for sure a fork and spoon meal for me. This time I arrived after 6pm and I was told that chai was done for the day. I was also told samosas were done, but samosa pav was available...perplexing? (I'll take the upsell, just give me the samosa)! This is only a counter restaurant. There's maybe space for 8 people max inside. They clearly do good business with their to go. I waited about 15 minutes for my order to come up and about 6 couriers came through for pickups. Most people who order there, stay and eat at the counter. It's well set up as a fast food option. One tip is that it's more affordable if you pay in cash. Idk what the fee is, but cash also allows you to tip, which people eating in should consider.
