Saint Valentine Bar Opens in East Dallas | Eater Dallas

"Slated to open in Addison on December 11, this international fast-casual chain is best known for chicken that’s marinated for 24 hours and then flame-grilled, served with a choice of spice levels so diners can customize the heat. This location will be the brand’s first in the local Metroplex." - Courtney E. Smith

We stopped here as we were craving some Portuguese type cuisine. The restaurant is located in a shopping area with restaurants and it’s very cute with a good “vibe” to it! They have indoor and outdoor seating and if you’re outside, don’t fret, there’s fans. They have a lot on the menu from skewers to whole chickens. You can pick your own sauces as well. We liked the spicier ones! The staff is friendly, but the wait time can be bad on the food if you’re coming at a busier time. Even with a lot of staff! We found the chicken to be really juicy and flavorful. That being said, the skewers are definitely on the smaller side and you will probably still be hungry if ordering this dish. We really enjoyed the natas for dessert though! We would be back if our craving comes again.

Nando’s has been our favorite restaurant for almost 15 years, and they’ve never disappointed us—no matter the state or country. This new location is just as amazing. Their chicken wings and hummus with pita are outstanding and remain our all-time favorites.

LOVED the famous Nando's chicken at this location. But the real sleeper is the chicken livers! DELICIOUS! Also the roasted cauliflower. Very tasty. And the sauces are TOP NOTCH!

Tasty, and healthy! We got the Rainbow Bowl with boneless chicken thighs. It kinda tasted like a fancy Hello Fresh and was beautiful to look at, but at least we didn’t feel guilty eating something super unhealthy! We got our veggies and the chicken was tasty. We will keep this restaurant in mind when we want something lighter and healthier.

I had an excellent meal and very nice experience. The staff is first rate. I ordered using the QR code on the table and paid with Google pay. There is free water in real glasses and all the tasty fire sauce you can eat. I love the atmosphere. Very nice vibe.

I have lived in Mozambique and had Nando’s often in South Africa. This location is incredible. Kind, attentive staff made sure we were taken care of and answered any questions we had. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the variety of sauces was so good. It was a little piece of Africa right here in Dallas. Highly recommend enjoying!

I fell in love with Nando’s in London and for a long while they only had a location in Washington DC, so every trip I made there for work, I ensured I ate at Nando's at least once if not twice even if I was just there for two days. I’m so happy that they put one in the DFW area although I wish they would add more locations. The food is amazing! I don’t even need a menu when I visit anymore because I know exactly what I’m going to eat, although I always check out their specials for the month. The service at this location is good, nothing spectacular. I have been when it’s incredibly busy and it was very little seating inside (it was winter), I have also been when it’s slow and there was ample seating. The location is not my favorite just because parking is very limited.

This place is clean, inviting, and has a great ambiance. The service is average, but the food makes up for it. I highly recommend the chicken thighs with medium sauce—they’re tender, juicy, and packed with the perfect balance of flavor and heat. However, the whole chicken was a disappointment, as it turned out too dry. If you visit, stick to the chicken thighs for the best experience.
