The food was spectacular!! It was my first time trying it and it was absolute heaven on a plate I wanted to cry 😋 I got the Peri chicken Rainbow bowl and it was incredible. We also had the Peri Wings which was the most perfect chicken wings I've ever had! Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

Nandos has the best tasting food in the dmv. I especially love their brussels sprouts and there the wings. Great customer service always!

Google
This was a great place to stop by for lunch. The service was fast and friendly. You can order at the counter or through the QR code (great for introverts like me) The vegetarian options are great.

My first time here and with the warm customer service for Nikki with her outstanding smile the mashed potatoes which is out of this world to the mac & cheese which is something that can't be touched from any Italian restaurant that and as a master Chef has the tasted best the chicken is something that grandma's recipe had secret I will continue to continue to come here from the hospitality to the continuation of making sure I have never been more satisfied this restaurant has what it takes. before I came here I just left the cheesecake factory that I ordered from and couldn't get the service that I got here, you guys keep shining and Nikki you're a shining star. THANKS LOVE

Google
I came with colleagues after a Saturday meeting. We ordered online and the service was great. We tend to go to different Nando's locations depending on the city. The food and service here matched any other location. I got the chicken thigh combo but we always order more than any one person can eat and share. The real downside of this location is the club next door. The base from their music constantly shook the whole restaurant and just made the atmosphere really unpleasant. I don't know how anybody could work in that environment because the noise is just insane.

Google
I travel to DC for work about once every six months, and always make it a point to stop by a Nandos for their always-delicious chicken. However, tonight marks the third time in a row that this particular location has turned me away from in-store ordering, with a variety of excuses ranging from "out of ingredients" to "too many delivery orders". This location seems to have poor management and planning, or employees just don't plan ahead properly for their business. If Nandos wants to be a ghost kitchen, they should mark themselves as so on Google Maps.

Google
This was my first time eating at a Nando’s. I was excited because I had been experimenting making my own Peri-Peri chicken and was looking to try the “original”. I order the 1/2 Chicken at the medium spice level. The food came out quickly and had good flavor. The chicken want dry and the spice level wasn’t very hot (I will try the next level of heat when I go back). The staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll give it another try 👍🏼

Amazing! Delicious chicken wings (hot flavor), fries, Portuguese rice, and hummus. This location does it right. Friendly staff. Clean. Highly recommend them. 👍🏻

Yelp
My first time trying Nandos from CA and it did not disappoint! Was so good I went back again the same week!! Mac and cheese is my favorite with the mango chicken. The service is great, people are always nice. Ice machine was broken so an employee got me ice from the back without me asking. Their $10 lunch deal is soooo good!!! So cheap for all you get.

Yelp
I've spent a decade knowing about Nandos but never getting to try. Since my work sent me to DC, I knew I had to finally take advantage and try their famous chicken. Arrived in the afternoon and were seated right away. While being sat at our table, our host gave us a brief rundown of Nands and what was the most popular items. I was super excited to try everything. Ultimately, I opted for the (2) leg quarters in the level hot and it was yummy. Honestly, I chickened (no pun intended) out for the extra hot and next time I'll order that. I'm a spicy lover and when trying the sauces on the side, it wasn't too spicy for me, but no worries. I love learning a lesson. The day we went (Sunday) it was pretty busy, so we probably waited around 20 min for our meal, but didn't mind it too much. I was vibing with the music and enjoying the ambiance a bit. I was surprised to learn that Nandos served alcohol too which was a great surprise. We got a draft beer and a lemonade cocktail which were great additions to my meal. Loved my first experience at Nando's! It definitely lived up the hype for me! I hope we eventually get one back at home in LA. I think it would be majorly popular since people where I live absolutely enjoy a good protein rich meal. Until then, I'll have to live on the memories of this visit to Nandos.

Yelp
So I have been to this Nando's before. It has been a few years. The food is excellent. But, after my most recent visit, never going back. Here's why. I Showed up at the busy lunch service. The place was pretty packed. The people at the register did say it was going to be a little bit slow because of the unprecedented Monday afternoon crowd. Totally fine with me. I have worked in restaurants before and I get it. But... Here is my problem. It took a while for them to even take my order because the one guy who ushered me over to this one cash register, apologized, and said that the register wasn't working. So I had to go back to the other register. Which took about five extra minutes or so. Not a big deal. Here is where it becomes a big deal. There were people who ordered after me who got their food before me. I had to go and remind the staff about me. And they said "oh yours is next coming up". Which was clearly not true. I saw them sort of spring into action to get my order together. But I think spring into action is a bit generous. Very slow to react, like they were almost annoyed that I had the temerity to remind them of my order. After I had already paid in full. I didn't get one word of apology or anything. It was just like "here's yo food". I will say that the people who got the good service all had one physical characteristic in common. Can you guess what that characteristic is?hmmm... I think this is Nando's not so subtly telling white people that they don't really want their business. Well, I'm going to give them what they want. I won't be back.

Janet L.

Yelp
Very inconsistent. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it takes 40 minutes when there's no visible crowd. Sometimes the vegetables are perfectly tender, sometimes they're hard, undercooked, and inedible. Sometimes they're randomly closed because someone rented them out. The chicken is good but don't come here if you want reliability.

Eisha K.

Yelp
Nandos is my go to for a quick no-frills, but filling meal. Their service is a little bit weird because you have to get the items yourself. But I love that they have a huge selection of sauces.

Kelly P.

Yelp
I was really excited to try Nando's but I did not like the service or experience of this location. My husband and I got our orders at very different times. Mine took the longest and the waitress even brought it to another table and then brought it to me. It was just very weird. I also didn't like that there was no one at the front door seating people, this poor man was waiting for 10 min to get seated. The food is okay. They were out of potatoes and bread, which limited some of the things we wanted to order.

Josh R.

Yelp
Nando's never disappoints! We ordered the Full Chicken Platter with the PERi Chips (fries) and Portuguese Rice as a side. They didn't have any chicken ready, so it took about 30 minutes to cook it. However, everything tasted amazing and had so much flavor!

Hailey C.

Yelp
The staff here is very kind. The different spicy sauces are soooo good. The roasted chicken (even the white meat) is flavorful and juicy. They also have buffalo chicken wings. Must try!

Daniel S.

Yelp
I love NANDOS but this location is the worst. Never treated when I entered and after 5 minutes a rude person comes up and says you can sit anywhere and just order online.. so that's what I did and after ordering I sat at my table for 34 minutes to be exact and never even got my drink. Then after going up to the register and asking I finally get my food. No apology or nothing just here you go. And after all this time I still never got my drink! This location has the worst workers and customer service. I pretty much had to serve myself. What a waste of money and time. I will never come here again! What really makes it bad is the people that came in after me got their food before me. I wonder why???You lost a loyal customer!

Jenna C.

Yelp
Yuuuum!! I loved this place! Everyone was very kind and welcoming, along with being happy to explain how to order and their suggestions. I went with a few other people and we all loved everything. The chicken was delicious and super juicy. The sauces were also a favorite. I like to change it up every so many bites, so I appreciated being able to take several sauces back to my table to alternate between. I wish I lived closer or a Nando's was near me so I could have this all the time!

Karen Y.

Yelp
I tell all my friends who come to DC they have to drop by a Nando's. It's a local chain and while they are expanding, they aren't quite at the West Coast yet. I'm not really great with spice so I always get their mango lime chicken. This time around I got two legs but if dark meat isn't your thing, you can definitely get white meat. The portion of chicken is also extremely customizable (whatever your hunger level--they have a plate for you). Got a side of the rice and coleslaw. Service is by QR code at the table though I'm sure if you wanted physical menus they probably will have that. Once you order, they will come out to your table. Ambiance is pretty fast casual. It's a popular place for groups and people usually eat and chat.

Mallory C.

Yelp
I've loved Nando's for years and I came here with some friends while I was in DC. This location, however, isn't really great for groups. We had some issues getting our order and our drinks and there was always a ton of confusion. The location was also very messy. The food, however, was great and lived up to the Nando's brand.

Odalis R.

Yelp
Ok this was tricky to find. Maybe it's just us but we walked in the main door from the street and went straight to a locked door. We then stumbled around outside then came in again and finally saw the door on the left. So when you walk in look for the door on the left. Once we finally got inside we were promptly seated and given menus. We then had to go to the counter to order and they brought our food out to us. I ordered the rainbow bowl which comes with rice and various veggies, hummus and chicken thighs. It was good but it was a little spicy for my taste even though I ordered the mild seasonings for the chicken. I also ordered their honey lavender lemonade which was delicious, so refreshing.

Annette I.

Yelp
The deliciousness of the food and the quality of my photos are inversely proportionate!!!! Please forgive my poor quality photos. We inhaled the food before I could gather my wits to take photos! We enjoyed the hummus and pita appetizer, and juicy quarter-chickens with deep fried Brussels sprouts. Fruity sangria served as our beverage and as a touch of sweetness for dessert. The servers were friendly and the decor was fresh and comfortable. I recommend!

Justine B.

Yelp
I have never given a one star review in my life, but this place was the absolute worst experience. They gave me the wrong order and didn't provide a receipt, which I didn't think much of at first. However, when I politely pointed out that my order was incorrect (I ordered two plates of chicken but only received one), the staff seemed genuinely angry. One of them kept insisting that I received what I ordered, even though that wasn't the case. I was willing to pay for an extra plate, but when I mentioned the mistake again, the staff member muttered "the f***" under her breath and went to get the manager. The manager was equally rude, sarcastically asking, "So what do you want, a refund or a free meal?" At this point, I just wanted to leave. I've never experienced such awful customer service.

Molly R.

Yelp
this Nandos was AMAZING. I went to today with my boyfriend looking for a quick snack, and the workers could not have been more helpful. We signed up in store for the app to get the free garlic bread (totally a steal, everyone should do this) but our barcode wasn't scanning. Not to fear, Chanel and Nicole were behind the register and worked their magic. Chanel also helped us pick out sauces to eat with our wings and fries and made exceptional recommendations. Overall, the customer service was unmatched and the vibes were incredible. We will DEFINITELY be going back.

Todd B.

Yelp
Food: 4* Service: 3* Ambience: 3* Variety of dipping sauces: 5* Stopped by here for a late night bite. We had the chicken, hot flavored with mashed potatoes, rice, and chips. The chicken was good, a little dry, but the dipping sauces (hot, extra hot, and garlic) were delicious. Rice was good, mashed potatoes from a box. Meh. Everything was dipped in them and it was great! Service, while friendly, was slow and lackluster. Couldn't be bothered to be honest. Overall a good experience.

Phylicia H.

Yelp
Great place for casual dining. You can order via barcode or walking up to the register. My bf and I shared 1/2 chicken (medium spicy) with fries. Unfortunately, they ran out of thigh so they gave us breast. Still very juicy and delicious. Medium was a great spice level for us. Not too spicy but had a nice kick. Loved the option to try a ton of diff spice levels at the table. The lemon herb was my favorite and the sauce I kept going back to. Very big inside with plenty of seating. Bathrooms were a bit nasty. 1/2 chicken with 1 side, water bottle, and fountain drink cost $30 because of the fees and tip. We weren't expecting it to cost this much but still delicious and a place I would definitely go back to. Chicken was so juicy it would taste great in a sandwich.

Yelp
This Nando's location (18th St NW) has been declining for a couple of years now and seems to be worse most recently. The food quality remains good enough, but the service and food options are diminishing. 1) Food Options - No matter what day of the week or time of the year, it seems that this location cannot seem to support the full menu. For example, today, you were not able to order any option that had chicken thighs or chicken wings. I don't know if it's an issue with mismanagement or improper ordering, but this location has this issue often (seemingly once a month). They also do not communicate with each other so the cashiers do not know what is/is not available, therefore only after the order is being placed and getting ready to be cooked, do you find out that they no longer have what you ordered. And instead of honoring a refund for a cheaper order, they will give you a free soda - which is ridiculous. 2) Service - I think this location would benefit from retraining their staff on how to behave, especially during peak times. I came in for dinner around 7pm for a takeout order. Even though there were two members of the Nandos team available, they asked a full line of people waiting to order, to continue to wait while they argued about who would go on a break next. Additionally, their etiquette is not up to the standard that I'm used to from Nandos - the team members shout out to each other from across the restaurant, don't pay attention to waiting customers, and take personal calls often. I waited 35 minutes for them to prepare one takeout order for a chicken sandwich and two sides. I should note that they did not have a lot going on except other takeout orders - they purposefully put the chairs up on the tables after 6 pm at this location to discourage customers from dining in. This is the closest Nandos to me so I put up with it but I wish corporate would take a closer look at this location.

Bart B.

Yelp
Good food, good sauces, perfect portions. Yum Nando's never disappoints. Service is always top notch, swift and helpful. I always look forward to Nando's.

Shaquille J.

Yelp
There's one reason to come here and it's the chicken. The chicken here is just delicious and there's no way around it lol. Unfortunately that's the only reason to come here. The fries we salty, and the service wasn't the best. We didn't even get cutlery with our food. Felt like I had to ask for everything. The ambiance felt like a sit down fast food spot. I'm gonna just order chicken to go next time around. It'll do you more justice. I ordered 12 mango lime wings and 2 sides. With a tip it came out to about $30.

Natasha C.

Yelp
Visiting DC for the weekend and gave this place a try since my sister couldn't stop raving about it. It was not disappointing! If you are looking for some south African food , definitely check this place out. Let me start with how cute it is when you first walk in! They have beautiful artwork as well as a wall explaining the history of PERI-PERI ( the main ingredient that pulls all the dishes together). Our waiter was so polite, he took his time explaining some of the new items that were added on the menu as well as giving us some pointers on what to try. We got the Peri Chips plater ( 24 wings with Chips). It was perfect for our group of three. I definitely would recommend trying the mango lime and getting plain so you can try some of the PERI PERI sauces. It was delicious!

Jocelyn S.

Yelp
WOW I love Nando's! I got their quarter chicken with rice and peas for a light lunch. I absolutely love roast chicken and Nando's does an excellent job. The chicken is super juicy and the skin is so nicely seasoned and crispy. I tried all the sauces and I like the lemon one the most for the sweetness and fragrance, but I'd also dip it in one of the hotter sauces for kick too. The staff is super helpful and attentive too.

Chandra R.

Yelp
Service was great Food was average Disappointed overall, no where near quality of nandos in europe

Tex W.

Yelp
The Rainbow bowl was fantastic! The server from Burkina Faso was very knowledgeable on the menu and provided great recommendations. The table was a little sticky but it wasn't anything too major to worry about. The vibes are awesome and the service is amazing. Most importantly, the FOOD IS AMAZINGGG!!!!

Emily L.

Yelp
The service was disappointing at the 18th street location tonight. They were unprepared to serve food to a group of people for which there was pre-planned catering in a private room. (Food was ready, service was understaffed.) 1. They had one person serving multiple items for a group of 39 - needed two people. When our awesome tour guide jumped in to pick of the slack, the line slowed even further when the manager came to question/criticize the sole staff member serving about why a non-staff member was serving food. The manager was then rude to our tour guide. 2. I was asked whether I wanted chicken. I said I did. The server the plopped my chicken down directly on my salad 3. The salad dressing dispenser (a plastic back of the house dispenser with an odd lid that apparently needed to be removed) was shooting out dressing everwhere ... and all over me, new shoes and clothes. I asked where I can clean up and the manager stated in what I perceived to be a sarcastic tone "do you want us to hold your plate for you?" (I was holding the plate.) The manager made no offer of where and with what supplies to clean up. I found a dirty bathroom and tried to clean up with the one-ply toilet paper available. There was no apology from staff at the time this occurred. I specifically followed up with the manager about 25 minutes later and received an apology with the context of 'we are understaffed', but not for her poor response.

J And I B.

Yelp
It was a busy night, took a very long to be seated. I normally don't write reviews, but I had to write one for the person who turned our night around. Matt was absolutely fantastic. He has such a beautiful personality and great personable skills. Thank you, Matt, for making us feel seen and heard. You made our experience worthwhile

Lucas W.

Yelp
Nando's has great food if you can get it, but that last part turns out to be trickier than you would expect. This particular Nando's is so often out of core menu items (I've been told "we have no fries" at 6 PM when fries are literally their default side) that my advice is to never order from them if getting what you ordered is important to you. You may get 70%, 80% of what you ordered. And you might wait an hour to get it, depending on the time. They get backed up and make it the customers' problem. Don't expect apologies or an extra item when that happens, either. Late is on-time at Nando's and 80% of an order filled is considered a job well done.

Torya M.

Yelp
I've been to this location a few times and normally I'm in and out after I order my meal, but this time my experience was a little different. I placed my order with one of the members there and I remember her pleasant demeanor (wish I got her name), but I ordered the chicken caesar wrap with regular tomatoes rather than the sun-dried tomatoes that comes with it. Now the restaurant had a few diners, however, they were all either dining or waiting for the food to be delivered to their tables. I was so engaged in my phone that I didn't realize I was waiting 20 minutes for something that I deemed to be so simple. And the gentle behind me received his food before me! Once I arrived back to my office, I couldn't understand why at least I didn't have warm fries. I didn't have a far distance to walk to, so I was expecting some warm temperature from the fries. The fries were VERY salty. Although I asked for a different type of tomato . . . they were not sliced. It was a whole cherry tomato in my wrap!! I was so confused. I mean I couldn't get the sliced tomatoes like you have for the sandwiches? Anyway . . . the location is well kept, clean, and spacious considering the narrowness of the building. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Jos O.

Yelp
I really wished my experience here had been better today. It's a cute place with a nice atmosphere, and my food was so close to being just fine, but they really missed the mark with the thigh kabobs. They were obviously grilled earlier in the day and then "reheated" however they were barely even room temperature, some pieces of chicken were much dryer than others, and the onions and red peppers were almost raw. This was really disappointing, I almost sent it back, but I was hungry and didn't want to watch my husband eat. My meal would have been fine if it had been hot off the grill. And half the brussels sprouts were a bit undercooked as well and again not very hot. My husbands pees were mushy. I did not enjoy the taste of those either. Also. We sat at the only two top available which was a booth that we were warned had a loud speaker. It was way too loud. We should have looked elsewhere when we were warned they did not have fries today. On a positive note, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Saurabh C.

Yelp
We went to this location having earlier enjoyed another one in DC. It seems that the food quality and the service varies by location. I customised my rainbow bowl for a chicken thigh but got a very dry chicken breast with no explanation. The cauliflower was stone cold but the hummus was (correctly) room temperature. The bed of rice was warm but the chicken was not hot. The mostly super young kids working there had little interest in doing anything. One helped me figure out my dairy restriction but the others were not even doing a bare minimum. Again, it could be the location or just how the vibe is at Nando's in DC. A managerial looking person did come out towards the end of our meal and asked us and the others around if things were OK. We simply said yes because it's a little harsh to openly point out the lapses like that. On a different note, not related to this location, I wish Nando's took a little more effort to make the ingredients clear so that people with restrictions can decide what they can enjoy without much bothering the serving staff or the kitchen.

Joe C.

Yelp
I went into the navy yard establishment where I was greet politely by staff and was make conversation with about my other experience from nandos . After I had paid I walk to get my sauces from the self serve station. The manager approached me and asked me to keep it down. I only did he want some sauce. I felt like it was a racial attach and demanded my money back, not acceptable at all.

Jasmin C.

Yelp
Food 5 service 3 atmosphere 5 Nando's chicken is so good. They know what they're doing. I got the 1/2 chicken and my husband got the Peri Peri bowl. Both were amazing. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the marinade was so good. We were both very happy and satisfied with our choices. We tried all the sauces and my favorite is the Peri Peri garlic sauce. The fries with perinaise is also very good and also gone by the end of our meal. The only thing that was a let down is the cauliflower but once we drenched that with Peri Peri sauce, it became bomb too. Atmosphere is nice however a bit confusing. The decor elevates the restaurant. We were sat by our server and we are not from here so we didn't know that we had to order at the counter or online. We had to ask but it's okay, the food was worth it. Also it was kind of entertaining to watch people keep missing where the door was. You go inside the building and you get into a lobby. The restaurant side is all glass but find the protrusion on the glass and that's where the door is. As for service, we had to ask for our utensils. They were scarce and not as friendly. But don't let that deter you, the food is bomb. Please come to Los Angeles, CA!

Rachel C.

Yelp
While I heard positive remarks about multiple Nando's locations, my experience was rather underwhelming. We ordered Nando's to-go. I got the chicken burger (medium) and a side of fries. Although it was enjoyable, I could not taste any spice on the chicken burger. Consider ordering hot if you enjoy spice. The most disappointing part was the halloumi sticks. For TEN dollars, we received four sad little sticks. Hopefully it was just this location.

Nick V.

Yelp
Food is good. But service can be hit or miss. Today, they delayed opening by OVER an hour. Had me wait outside until they opened but neglected to tell me the delay was because they RAN out of Chicken after receiving a large catering order. I'm not opposed to waiting, things happen. But tell me why because you've wasted my time. I will now ask if they have chicken for the foreseeable future.

Heidy M.

Yelp
We are originally from NYC and on prior visits we would visit this location and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's been about 3 years since we returned to DC, and the first place we stopped at was this location. I felt dread when we first opened the door to enter. It was dirty, and the carpet just inside was filthy as well. There was no one to greet or seat us, and when we attempted to find a seat ourselves, the seating was either greasy with food on it, or literally torn and worn out. The booths were no better, there was one booth still piled high with dirty dishes and glassware from previous diners, and the one we had no choice but to sit on, turned out to be greasy as well and the table sticky with dried up food and drink. We had to go back to the front entrance where we saw a rag, and wipes. We literally had to wipe the table down ourselves and used a spray disinfectant we found as well. We should've just left at that point but we really wanted to give it a chance based on our prior visits. We were told by the person at the register to look at the menu and he would be right with us. We took a seat and waited and waited until we finally decided to go back to the register and just order there. Each time we tried to order something, they either did not have it, or said it would be a half an hour to be ready. This was on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't even busy. The grill was off, and there were soggy looking fries sitting there. We finally completed our order and waited. The food came out and it wasn't even hot. It was warm at best. The only thing that was sort of hot was the chicken. Everything else was warm. The bathrooms were dirty and one had the smell of marijuana as though someone went in to smoke in there. The floors throughout the restaurant were wet and filthy as well. It looks severely understaffed and the workers there looked as though they wanted to do the bare minimum. What happened to this place? If I could describe it in 2 words I'd say it is forgotten, and dilapidated. We won't be returning.

Dennis N.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite places when I worked downtown. I had not been awhile and decided to pop in for lunch while running errands. To say this location has gone downhill is being kind. The place needs a good cleaning, more staff, and new management. The same person who seats you also works the register and fills orders. So while I am in line to place my order, someone else (who apparently did not understand the wait to be seated sign) sits at my table. If they want to have a "host", the person doing that can't be missing in action or it defeats the purpose. After being asked to move, and informed they had no wings, breasts, or ice tea, I left and headed to Cava, so can't say if the food is still good. I am sure I will get the standard " contact our customer service department and we will make this right" but how many bad reviews does a place need before they actually improve? Quite a lot apparently.

Yelp
This is a nice location than the one in Chinatown in terms of cleanliness and service. Our waiter was chatty and had a big smile at all time. Covid-19 does have some positiveness that people may even miss n being patient to those whom they may dislike the most The chicken is very tender all right off the bones. A bit salty to my taste. But everyone else gave the food thumbs up. It is South African but more like Peruvian in many ways.

Yelp
This is where I wish YELP would give us the ability to grade food and service. The food.....not bad. Wife's salad was good, though they claimed they ran out of the dressing for the salad and had to sub something else for 'dressing'.....and she ordered the basic salad, not some special type. Hmm. Me, I ordered the basic chicken breast with fries and roasted Brussels sprouts. Again....they were out of slaw which was my first choice. How can you be out of slaw? It's a chicken restaurant! My chicken was pretty good. Hot, too. The mango based sauce applied after grilling was quite tasty. Fries.....pretty good. Spouts were 'roasted' maybe 4-5 hours earlier as they were lukewarm and soggy. Disappointing for sure, but the chicken was hot and flavorful. Now, the service. Awful. Took nearly 40 mins to get my chicken breast to the table. They specialize in chicken, FYI. 40 mins, and twice asked them to check on it. Wife's salad came out in less than 15 mins. Again, she liked it. Chicken was hot and flavorful on it. But the service and responses to my questions were pitiful. Too, a table of about 7 people came in 15 mins after we did, and got their food before I did. So....food, we'll give them a 3. Service......more like a 2. No slaw, no salad dressing. So a 2 overall. We won't be back.

Yelp
I picked this up for dinner the other night. The food was cold. I ordered the golden cauliflower. It was pretty much disgusting. There was no crispiness and for some reason the cook had a hard time packing it so it leaked in the bag. I also had the chicken crunch salad. The breast was fatty and I had to throw it away. They had a hard time putting my order together. Most of the staff spent their time talking to each other and just letting a few people do the work. They also don't check the orders on the way out. I ordered for a couple people and the food was. Mis bagged. Also Thai on one of the bags ripped, but I was able to catch up before it fell to the ground. I would not recommend going to this place. It is highly overpriced and the food policy quality is extremely poor as was the service.. I did take out maybe they do a better job when people eat in, but that really shouldn't make a difference. Giving it 2 stars is being extremely generous. I would not recommend it or will I go back there? Also, the food was extremely over priced for the size of the portions.

Yelp
Literally the worst service I have ever encountered. The manager is not around and it shows. The waiter literally kicked me out of a table he apparently had assigned without saying thank you or please (table remained empty even after si finished eating in a different table I had to just find). Sincere is literally the worst waiter I have ever encountered. Chicken is tasty.....but not enough to overcome the terrible service experience!

Yelp
Fully pleased with my meal and service at Nandos!! The chicken was super juicy and flavorful, and paired well with the rice. The fries were an odd addition, but they were seasoned really well! There was a short delay with the food, and the wait staff brought us a voucher for a free meal without even asking. A+ on customer service in my book. There's also a large hand washing station in the back so you can skip the bathroom all together. I like I like. Needless to say I'll be back!

Yelp
We were walking from the Archives to the metro station and came upon this place. What a great find! The chicken was perfect! We each ordered different spices on our chicken and each was amazing. The sauces and sides were great too! Yum. Check it out--you will love it!

Yelp
If I could do zero stars I would. I ordered online and still waited 15+ mins to get my food. Even the manager, the short lady with locs, was unprofessional. Their conversation was more important than me getting my food in a timely manner. Don't even waste your time.

Yelp
Went here during a bar crawl. This was the only restaurant in the area we could find that didn't have 30 min+ wait time to be seated. We were seated quickly. I ordered their Peri Peri chicken bowl with a platter of pita. Absolutely delicious and felt healthy. The highlight was trying the different sauces that Nando's has in the corner of their store. They paired well with the pita bread.

Yelp
Worst experience at Nando's the food was cold and the fries were soggy. The place had a horrible smell of urine. The customer service was terrible, employees on the phone, no one to seat customers. Avoid, go to a different Nandos. Ambiance, none no music like most Nando's.

Yelp
Being European where nandos is widely available, my friend and I were disappointed. We walked in during late lunch waiting approx 6mins at the front to be seated, the waiter then started waving from the kitchen so we walked down and he said he couldn't be bothered to come to the front and asked us to seat so immediately I would say very poor service. The food was cold, the chips were dry and plain when we ordered peri, the garlic bread and spicy rice was cold. The best thing was the warm halloumi side. Ambiance was ok, pretty empty which is expected late lunchtime with maybe 3/4tables occupied maximum.

Yelp
How do you run out of Chicken wings & thighs and it only 12 noon?! make it, make sense?!

Yelp
The service really is terrible here. It all started with trying to place my order and for 5 minutes the employee ignored me in favor of her soda. Then she said I will help you in a minute at which time she proceeded to chat with one of the cooks and a random food delivery person who came in. This lasted 5 to 10 minutes. As I then try to order the cook keeps telling her what foods they have run out of. Out of white meat chicken! They then argue over if he had previously told her or not. During all this a few people had joined me in line. They were the first to turn around and leave and I followed them. Will not go back. And on top of it all have to step over trash on the way in and out. That should have been my first and only warning.
