I haven't seen piri piri dishes since I was in Scotland at Nando's. Not as spicy as I remember, but still zesty and delicious.
No COVID safety protocols in place. Minimal seating available (2 small tables). The stall is located in the back of the food hall, beyond the main building and past the miniature building model. Staff are courteous and quick-- my order took around 5 mins.
NANI'S CHICKEN BURGER: Chicken's just as juicy and tender as expected. but the sandwich is sloppily put together. The burger was practically falling apart from the moment I opened the foil, fillings spilling out from the sauce-slathered, slightly soggy bun. Don't get me wrong, it's seasoned well, but a bit of a sticky mess to eat even when held in the wrapper. Lettuce/onion added a refreshing crunch from the heavy flavors of the cheese sauce.
Chips were real salty-- whewwww I couldn't even more than two before my mouth felt like sandpaper. For the spice-adverse, I would recommend skipping out on them. Otherwise, Nani's is a great addition to Ponce City Market.
