Nani's Piri Piri Chicken

Had the chicken burger, chips, orzo salad. Companion had chicken and corn pudding. Burger was large and good. Chips for me way too spicy but she liked them. Orzo good flavor, and pudding was alright. A bit too pricy for me value wise, but am told good price point for the area and Ponce.

My sister and I decided to split a chicken sandwich for a light lunch, and we are so happy we chose Nani’s! The sandwich was delectable. Highly suggest getting a side of regular mayo to dip your chips in. Service was friendly and quick!

3 people ordered the exact same meal- all of them tasted as if the oil they were fried in was old & had no flavor- brought attention to the employees- they acted as if they didn't care- made our stomachs quite upset afterwards - will never order again

I tried the chicken burger, which came with house chips, and it was really good! The chicken was juicy & flavorful. I also got a side of their homemade hot sauce and it was delicious! Very spicy, so I only needed a little. The house chips were good to! Crunchy & seasoned, but not too salty. The guy who took my order was very nice too! Would definitely go back.

Very quick service. I’d highly recommend the thigh and leg combo, it’s extremely juicy. The chicken skin is die for. Even the chicken breast is juicy, so you know it’s cooked well.

It just started up in the new pop-up area on the way to the restrooms. Great chicken with good heat and flavor. Potato Salad is delish. There's truly no seated section, but a couple of tables are nearby. Staff are friendly and getting their groove on. Thank you! Will be back.

SO DELICIOUS. I got the chicken burger and ate every bite. I think the standout was the side of orzo salad, I will likely spend my whole summer trying to recreate it on my own since I am unlucky to live so far from GA. Kind staff, open late, and the juiciest chicken I’ve had. 10/10 recommend.

This place is great, the rotisserie chicken is amazing, but the sandwiches are also really good too. I had the Panko sandwich, and the portions were pretty large. The corn bread pudding was also very good, a side I would probably get every time.

First Visit: Server (Pratima G) was not friendly at all, she kept frowning when I asked her for recommendations. We felt rushed while ordering all while she seemed bothered. In addition, they charge you for hot sauce & buttermilk dressing, what a shame! They also don't take cash and their food is overpriced. Don't be fooled if someone recommends Piri Piri Nani's Chicken!

I understand inflation and the rise of cost in things and I'm happy to pay for what matters. But paying $4.99 as an added charge for rotisserie chicken to only get barely 1/4 of what I used to get is ridiculous. As a frequent customer, I'm super disappointed. I should have went to Sweet Greens. They get 2 stars because the food was still good. The portions are absolutely ridiculous given the cost.

I haven't seen piri piri dishes since I was in Scotland at Nando's. Not as spicy as I remember, but still zesty and delicious. No COVID safety protocols in place. Minimal seating available (2 small tables). The stall is located in the back of the food hall, beyond the main building and past the miniature building model. Staff are courteous and quick-- my order took around 5 mins. NANI'S CHICKEN BURGER: Chicken's just as juicy and tender as expected. but the sandwich is sloppily put together. The burger was practically falling apart from the moment I opened the foil, fillings spilling out from the sauce-slathered, slightly soggy bun. Don't get me wrong, it's seasoned well, but a bit of a sticky mess to eat even when held in the wrapper. Lettuce/onion added a refreshing crunch from the heavy flavors of the cheese sauce. Chips were real salty-- whewwww I couldn't even more than two before my mouth felt like sandpaper. For the spice-adverse, I would recommend skipping out on them. Otherwise, Nani's is a great addition to Ponce City Market.

The chicken salad here, which is served with spiced potato chips, is exceptional. I've only ever enjoyed chicken salad twice and this is one of them. The chicken is tender and the sauce is tangy with sweet notes with the bits of grape. It goes so well with the spiced chips. I feel like this is a bite I'll remember years from now!

I've been curious about peri peri chicken for a while now so doing a circle around ponce city market, I saw this and decided now would be the time. Got the leg and thigh combo which was SO flavorful. Also got the peri peri sauce which did taste just like a tangy hot sauce to me. Yummy to dip the chicken in though. You get two sides with it too so I got the dirty rice (yum!) and savory cornbread pudding which might've actually been the star of the meal??? Never had anything like it before but it was sweet, salty, moist, and delicious.

This place is kind of tucked away, but definitely worth seeking out. We just wanted a little bite to eat, so we shared a 2 piece with 2 sides. It also comes with a flat bread, similar to Naan. For our sides we chose the potato salad and orzo salad. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. The sides were super good too, especially the orzo. All in all we were really satisfied with what we ordered. I'd recommend giving them a try.

I have to start this spot off with a perfect FIVE‼ I really enjoyed that juicy chicken burger . I mean rotisserie chicken is always a win, especially when it's cooked perfectly like this one. My coworker devoured the half a chicken meal. Also my coworker was raving about the CORN PUDDING. He says it's a must try side. We're glad we stumbled upon this new spot for lunch.

I had the chicken burger and potato salad. Overall it was pretty good. The sandwich was very fresh and tasty - but had no spice, which is bizarre because piri-piri is supposed to have some heat, as it's made with chilies. It's like a garlic aioli without any garlic. Didn't make much sense to me. The potato salad was basic. I should have tried the corn side dish.

I love a lot of vendors at Ponce, including Botiwalla which comes from the same chef, but Nani's is my new favorite. Got the dark meat combo and it was so good. The meat was moist and delicious and sat on a fluffy piece of naan, the corn pudding was divine and the green been salad was fresh, bright and full of flavor. If you're looking for a protein-based meal with yummy sides this is one of your best bets at Ponce.

Welcoming service, Delicious rotisserie chicken... piri piri spice. Different taste very authentic flavor! Corn pudding is delicious too...great sweet contrast to the piri piri. No need to explain any more! Gotta try it!

I have been here before and it was delicious! Today, I had rubbery chicken and bad service. Please don't go early on a Sunday morning. Not good and a waste of money

The chicken was well-prepared and the sides were great. I was a little disappointed because I thought it would be spicy like Nando's. But it wasn't spicy at all. There was a hint of peri peri seasoning on the skin but nothing in the meat. So long as you're not expecting it to be spicy, you won't be disappointed.

This place was delicious, fast, and has healthy options! I had the salad and added chicken and rate it 10/10. Boyfriend had #3 which is half chicken with 2 sides. We both enjoyed his meal since it was such a large serving. Chicken has great flavor and moist. I'm so happy that there is a healthy option for a quick weeknight dinner and reasonably priced
