"Nantucket Baking is nestled right next to [Lyon Street Cafe](www.onthegrid.city/grand-rapids/heritage-hill-midtown/lyon-street-cafe), and is owned by the same family as Martha’s (they're really doing some nice things on this corner). Put it this way: non-processed handmade artisan breads, Mexican chocolate cookies, molasses cookies, homemade fruit pies fit for the season, galettes...and Midwest prices. Just go. Oh, and if it's too busy next door - grab some no-nonsense drip coffee to go here." - CreativeMornings Grand Rapids

A beautiful location, tasty baked goods and kind staff. Highly recommend the quiche, blueberry muffins and citrus loaf cake.

The sweetest staff and best vegan croissant in Michigan!! The vegan pastries are so flaky, buttery, and perfect, it’s like magic. 100% would make the two hour drive again to get these!!

Best bread in GR!! Vienna & Polish rye just like the bread my grandparents would get from the Polish bakery when I was a kid. Oh, and their pies!!! Heavenly. Highly recommend anything from this place. You can't go wrong.

Pretzels, baguettes, and sourdough. A fantastic local bakery. Check out their daily bread special. EDIT: This has been my favorite bakery in GR since I arrived years ago. The selection is enormous and the smell when you walk in is heavenly. I do not eat much bread these days, but the salmon lox croissant brought me in =) If you haven't been here yet, you must give it a try! You will not be disappointed. And if you are, then that might just say something about you.

Pastries are pretty good. Customer service could be better, reminder a tip isn’t required. I could tell that the worker was upset by her rude look. Also need better bags or don’t put all items into one bag. When I walked out the bag ripped from the bottom.

Absolute MUST stop if you are in or near Grand Rapids! We make the trip to grand Rapids just to visit them! Word to the wise get there early because if you go anytime from noon and after they start selling out of almost everything! Cookies, granola, bread, pretzels, scones, danishes, coffee cakes! All perfection! Pictured: assorted macarons, birthday cake scone, the pie display holds an apple danish, then chocolate chip and maple pecan scones, and lastly a bag of well seasoned pretzel sticks!

Enjoy the sweets but do not buy the bread. We have tried almost every kind to give the benefit of the doubt. All blah and consistently blah over three years. Eat their cheesecake and go Field Fire breads

So delicious! Came back here a 2nd time before heading out of town from visiting Grand Rapids. Such great baked choices for those who like sweet or savory options. The quiches and scones are the way to go!
