"Tai Ke may only have been here since 2018, but it can be traced back to the owner's grandfather, who started a congee stall in Zhongxiao night market over 50 years ago – the interior is a nod to its heritage. With a stock base of vegetables, pork and chicken bones, the meat congee brings back childhood memories for many locals. Chopped bamboo shoot, shallot and Chinese celery impart their aromas.
