Naomi's Kosher Pizza & Falafel

Pizza has really good crust and large slices. If you're in the area, definitely worth a shot. Old school ambiance

A friend brought me here and said it was a favorite Pizzeria of his although he hadn't been here in a few years. So we were excited. Unfortunately the pizza was very disappointing. I got a regular cheese slice and he got a slice of white pizza. My slice was VERY skimpy on the cheese and while the top of the pizza looked fine the bottom was overcooked. Close to burnt. Regarding the white slice (I didn't taste it) my friend's said he wasn't impressed and said it was not as good as it used to be. The service was fine.

They recently made their suace really good, so I enjoy their pizza more now. Their fries are good. Their falafel. BEST falafel I'll ever eat. Whenever I go somewhere else I think; "Is it like Naomi's? Or is it not worth it?"

If this isn’t the lightest fluffiest and Dreamiest falafel plate you could get in NY! So so good! Great value for money and quick service I bought it to go and loved every bite! I’ve eaten there before too but this new texture of the falafel I got this time was simply awesome ! Totally doing this more often

Clean quick and delicious. Went for the awesome falafels. The mango slush was delicious. Brought home falafel plates for my parents and they travel super well and we're also given 5 stars by my Indian parents who are vegetarian and on occasion make falafel at home. Super reccomend and will go back for the novelty pizzas. They looked so good.

I’ve been coming here my whole life! The best falafel, i don’t know if it’s bc of Covid only but I miss their pickled cabbage! They’ve got great pizza too, but this is my family’s favorite falafel place, that even after leaving queens we travel here for falafel! Sad to see their ancient register be replaced, but glad their still just as good.

We usually get takeout for the falafel from here and my family lies it. The falafels are not oily, which is why I like this place. If your crazing falafel I would recommend this place. It’s a cash only place, FYI.

After spending the entire day in New York distressed from the heat I felt like it was my obligation as a human-being to check out this spot. Before I express the quality of the food I would like to start off with the setting of the restaurant.' 1) The restaurant location itself is in the perfect location. However, the inside of the restaurant is very messy.. I'm from CT, and I'm simply not use to a messy kitchen. Overall, the customer service was impeccable.. I was greeted when I entered, I paid for my food, and I was sent off with a warm farewell.. maybe they knew I was from CT? 2) Lets get to the food... I decided to go with 3 slices of pizza. 2 white, and 1 something. 2 white slices knocked my socks off " metaphorically speaking". . . The cheese wasn't dripping with grease , and I felt like the flavor of the slice itself was impactful. My soul was pleased...the 3 slice of something I techically did not order was decent as well. Not sure how a slice I didn't order got into my box, but food is food... so needless to say I devoured it.. Prices are outrages, but post pandemic ...

Naomi's provided fast service and are located in a convenient location. I've never had kosher pizza before and it was an interesting experience. It wasn't my favorite since the dough/crust is different from your typical NY slice (its chewy and very bready). I did however enjoy the hot melty cheese and fresh veggie toppings on both pies. Overall I think it's cool knowing a place like Naomi nearby in the neighborhood. I would love to check out other items on their menu.

My family has been coming here for years for the falafels. The falafels are delicious! The space is a typical pizzeria like space with tables in the back, the pizza is just ok. Parking is manageable and you can pay for metered parking in the front. The service is great and staff are attentive .

Naomi's has the best falafels I have ever had. This place has been around for many years and they continue to put out great products including their many different types of pizzas but my favorite are their falafels especially their 'falafel with the works' . Treat yourself and check it out.

Nostalgic place, my friend took me here, now I take my children. I get falafel. My son gets pizza, folds his slice.

Naomi's has always been my favorite Pizza in Queens- but it is under new management recently and their pizza recipe is changed and not any better than any other run of the mill pizza anymore. A lot of their specialties are still good and just as excellent. They also are expanding their menu with new items that I have not yet tried. Advice to management- Go back to the classic pizza recipe. The new one is gross and the old recipe has been my favorite going back decades.

Naomi's is a Main Street staple. On Sundays, they're absolutely packed to the point the line can go out the door. There are two lines, one for falafel, one for pizza. Though I've never had the falafel, I hear its some of the best in Queens. I'm not a lover of Kosher pizza, but I was meeting people here so I didn't have much of a chip. I had a white slice, it was fine, nothing special other than the slice being on the bigger side. If you come with a group, make sure one person is a table-snagger because it's really hard to get one since they're so busy. It's cheap, food is fine, maybe I'll give their falafel a try sometime but like I said...kosher pizza...not my thing.

Different owners. Used to be good. The falafels were gross and the pizza was worse than a dollar pizza shop. Dollar pizza quality at regular pizza prices. This place should close.

Just had a poor experience at Naomi's pizza. I called in advance to make a personal pizza. I told them to have it ready in 30 minutes . We got there to eat in around 20 minutes later. I politely asked them to warm up the pizza as we wanted it hot to eat. One of the pizza workers said he was too busy and since I came late, he would not heat it up. I proceeded to pay abs get my drinks abs opened the box and the pizza was cold. So I asked again but this time I addressed the cashier. After a little argument, the same worker took the pie out of the box and stick it on the tray without heating it up. How rude! How obnoxious! So I said to the cashier that's not acceptable and they will get a bad review! Anyways the other pizza worker took it and only then put it in the oven. If it was up to me that worker who refused to warm it up, should be fired! You don't treat the public that way. My personal pizza was outstanding and I would like to come again but the manager should do something about that worker!

They are back.. they got rid of the old manager which I think wanted to ruin the business on purpose and everything is the way I remember it.

They are open way too soon after yom tov to be confident in their halachic observance. The boureka was black on the bottom, burnt. The vegetable cutlet was chewy, malodorous and also burnt, black on the bottom. Iceberg lettuce was wilted and brown. Falafel balls were greasy and bland, lacking any herbs inside (they were brown, not green inside). I wouldn't order again.

Came in for a quick bite on a Friday afternoon, right before closing. My husband and I had a slice each, veggie and white. We both thought the pizza was very good. We also shared an order of cheese fries which was great. Fries were crispy and the cheese was properly melted on in the oven. All that and two cans of soda set us back $12. Not bad. Service was very good. The gentleman was very friendly, smiling at all of the customers, very pleasant. Will definitely come here again.

I came all the way from Georgia to eat there falafel and pizza. The pizza was very good. But the falafel it was not fresh at all and the pita was chewy and dry.

I have been going to Naomi's falafel for at least 25 years. I've always loved this place but the last few times I've been there under the new ownership I've been very disappointed. First of all they've raised all the prices dramatically. I ordered a falafel and it completely fell apart because the pita was stale. The falafel balls were dry as if they were sitting around for a while. What really gets me is they have done nothing to clean up and improve the looks of this place. The napkin holders are disgusting. Old and dirty. I am very disappointed in Naomi's since the new owners have taken over. This may be a hole in the wall restaurant which I enjoy but this place really needs some cleaning up. Buy some new napkin holders! I would've given a one star rating but I'm giving the new owners the benefit of the doubt.

The falafel is good but not as good as tanami in Brooklyn. Falafel here use to be an A but I have only given them a B- last 2 times I was here. Pizza is pretty good..

I hired Naomi's to cater a 60 person event last weekend. They got the order 100% right and delivered it right on time. The food was delicious (pizza, falafel, pasta) and they were friendly as well. Miguel also helped advise me on what quantities to order, and his advice proved to be excellent. I would definitely hire Naomi's again for my next event!

STAY AWAY. DISGUSTING. YOU'LL GET FOOD POISONING. NEVER EVER GOING BACK. I've been going to Naomi's for 40 years. Always looked like it needed a makeover. New owners took over. I was there last night for the first time in a few months. Place is filthy. Pita bread was stale. They allowed a patron who had dirty filthy clothes on To go behind the counter and serve himself food. His pants were black with dirt his shirt and jacket was filthy he had a beard. That was a health department violation disgusting. I need to make a phone call and report them. Stay away you're gonna get sick.

Pizza @ La Bela down the street is way better. But, I do enjoy popping into this place for a 1/2 of Falafel; I like how they have that option. The staff is pretty nice. They used to have these "Natural Sodas" - But, I'm not sure they have them anymore. Customers can be rude & inconsiderate; you have to stand your ground ;-) You will enjoy!

Used to love Naomi's -- 1 or 2 times a week for over a decade. At this point, they don't pick up the phone - admitting that they turn it off when they get too busy. They don't prepare the orders when you use the app for pickup, making you wait for an hour and they don't make sure the order is complete if you spend for Uber to have the trouble of picking up. Never mind the constant challenge of ordering from both the falafel side and the pizza side at the same time. The new owners have made things worse. Naomi's you might have had good pizza / falafel but you have made it impossible to bother doing business with you anymore. A shame.

Pizza with pesto sauce, white pizza and mushroom are so good, price are reasonable and people are so nice!!! This is a small place that they won't advertise themselves but really a must-try in NY.

This well-beloved eatery had been sitting quietly in my bookmarks for a few months since the moment I discovered it sits scant minutes from my house. I finally decided to pay them a visit today, figuring I'd drop in, grab a few falafels to go, and be on my merry way. To assume I'd be in and out within a few minutes was, I later realized, a gross underestimation of this restaurant's popularity. I was both amused and slightly dismayed to see that this small pizza and falafel joint was solely responsible for a gaggle of double-parked cars and a line that practically stretched out the door. Lines like these always pique my interest because if you find New Yorkers on a queue, you're sure as hell going to find something worth waiting for at the front of it. Sighing resignedly, I got on the back of the line and proceeded to watch the tightly controlled chaos behind the counter - servers took orders and ran expertly around each other to fulfill each one. All the while, one guy stayed planted at the fryer. It would seem that his sole role was to shape, fry, and prep fresh falafel balls. Just watching him made my mouth water with anticipation, so that fifteen minutes later, when it was finally my turn, I ended up ordering WAY more than I originally intended: six falafel balls, a half falafel (meaning three falafel balls with veggies and a smattering of tahini sauce), and - on a truly gluttonous whim - an order of french fries. It was hugely gratifying to watch everything come fresh out of the fryer, which was why I was slightly confused that my first bite of Naomi's falafel should be curiously soft and even dense, not crunchy. Slightly oversalted and surprisingly white in color (both inside and outside), these were far from the best falafels I've ever had because I personally prefer mine verdant, hinting at the use of greens and herbs in the mix. However, these were also light years away from the dark-chocolate hues of overfried falafels you find at the random halal carts - these are clearly fresh and extremely tasty. The fries were just as one might expect - scaldingly hot, crispy, and totally unsalted, which I appreciated after several saline bites of the falafels. Unlike the vast majority of yelpers before me, I found the 'half falafel' to be just all right, for the taste, proportions, and general fussiness of eating. The falafels were buried deep into the pita pocket, with the salad and tahini thrown on top, so that the top bites were all salad while the bottom bites were naked falafels. Everything became disassembled as I ate, leaving me with a bit of a mess on my lap and my face by the end of it all. Still, I'm no dainty eater and I was generally happy with my meal, as must have been nearly half of Queens (or so it seemed) as they crowded the narrow restaurant with their appetites. If you decide to make a visit, give yourself ample time to wait on line and for heaven's sake, don't make the line worse by not ignoring the clear and ample "CASH ONLY" signs like one woman did today by insisting "But you took my card just last week!" On behalf of everyone else waiting behind you, I beg of you - Don't be that idiot. Go to the bank first.

Best falafel sandwiches and platters! Always excellent portions with fresh ingredients. Naomi's has never disappointed and our whole family has been going there for 15+ years! I'd highly recommend Naomi's to anyone looking for a fantastic falafel!

I love this pizza! It's always hot and tasty. I get only the cheese pIzza and it's the best. The falafel is also good along with the rest of the Israeli food. Okay, let's face it, it's all good! Now Naomi's takes credit cards and makes deliveries!

Best falafel in the country. I've been to Israel a handful on times and this seriously competes with theirs. I'm definitely biased since my mom has worked here since before I was even born, but I love everything about this place.

My favorite falafel sandwich. Good. Not bitter. Not too crunchy or too mushy. And filled the brim with the balls. Mmm balls! The sauces are good. Hot sauce by condiment bar. It's kosher so closed on Friday nights and Jewish holidays, just to save you a trip if you plan to check it out. It's been around forever. Like since I was a fetus. Mmmm fetus! (Sue me..I'm a hard-core foodie). It's the pizza my mom had when she was pregnant and just had to have pizza on Xmas. Poor dad had to drive around to find a pizza place opened. I don't think they ever renovated either. Oh, Pizza is not bad here either! Two separate lines btw. One for pizza, one for the other stuff.

A really tasty pizzeria. The sauce on the pizza is very tasty and so is the quality of the dough and cheese. We also took a frise with cheese that was made well in oil and then in the oven to melt the cheese. dish was quite large. Prices are reasonable. The manager of the place (own the place for 47 years) takes care of everyone and is very nice and so is the entire staff of the place. Deliveries are not done unfortunately

I have been coming here for 22 years going on 23 and I must say it's hands down the great pizza and falafel I have had! Great for vegetarians!! Make sure to bring cash :)

Poor service for Average pizza and Average food. The cashier at the falafel area was so rude to the lady who just purchased $110 in falafel! People that eat here just do not know. I'm also tempted to say they're also very prejudiced in their service. My order was ignored while the Jewish family behind me got great attentive service. No thanks. Try Valentino's on Kissena, you'll see what real pizza tastes like.

Im forever craving their meze combo!! It tastes so fresh and flavorful. Plus, the portion size is humongous for thr price. The workers are really nice too. Cant wait to come again

The pizza here is just okay. It's really the only option outside of the queens college campus. Lots of kosher options including salads and falafel. Plenty of seating. Bathroom available!

Falafel's and pizza is absolutely incredible and delicious! this establishment must be open forever. ambiance is a classic israeli restaurant type of feel - really amazing.

I give it 4 stars based on the falafel. It was crispy, had great texture, and was nicely seasoned. The tahini sauce had the right consistency and the small condiment bar had great hot sauce, spicy pickled turnips and nice sauerkraut. A falafel sandwich and a bottle of black beer (Nesher) made for a wonderful lunch. I will go back to sample other items on the menu. If the falafel is any indication my taste buds are in for a treat.

Went for a quick bite recently. We had both vaccines and wanted to eat in. Tables are few and spaced far apart. You have to have temp taken, sign in with name, phone, and address in order to eat in. Had a mushroom slice and a tuna salad plate - comes with simple salad or they charge 50 cents extra for Israeli salad, which I thought was silly. Anyway, both plus 2 sodas were less than $15 and the food was tasty and just right. We've been there before and glad we came now.

Naomi's is great - I love coming here with family or picking up something delicious to go. With that said, I am NOT a fan of the falafel, very bland. However everything else is great though! I love kosher pizza and this is the spot to get various Middle Eastern dishes like malawah and jocknon. FYI one line is for pizza and the other is for everything else ;)
