The NAPA Auto & Truck Parts on Northgate Blvd near Main Ave / Del Paso Road is a vast warehouse store with everything for your car and truck repair or maintenance. The store's retail section is about the same size as most auto parts stores. But this NAPA Auto & Truck Parts is attached to a big warehouse with lots of inventory. The workers here are very helpful as well.

Today we were helped by James and let me just say that if you’re going to work in customer service you should probably have some customer service. My husband was making a simple exchange with his receipt and James never said hello, wait just a minute, thank you, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, WORST SERVICE EVER!! Oh and let me not forget to mention how he proceeded to pull out his knife to cut our receipt in half. What was that for??

There was a worker who didn’t hesitate to step outside and take a look at our dump truck which was having lighting issues. Unfortunately we couldn’t catch a name but we appreciate who attentive he was and just the fact he came outside in 100 degree weather. Will visit again! Some of the other workers are a bit less helpful and very firm in their tone.

If you're making an OTR truck delivery here to the receiving department, the entrance is on Kenmar St. Go past the warehouse on Northgate, left on Del Paso at the light and then first left on Kenmar. It's a small place and they go by appointments. If you're early, it's probably better to park on Kenmar and walk in so you don't block the driveway. Looks like a decent place to park overnight on Kenmar if you wanted to. There's an Aarco station on the corner for food/drinks and a restroom. Grassy area for the dog. And it's probably very quiet at night.

Got there with an appointment. I was unloaded in a timely manner and the guy was professional.

The part I needed wasn't in stock when I spoke with sales associate Lalo. He assured me that he would immediately order the part from the distribution warehouse in Fresno. Within a day the part came in. Lalo was both courteous and effective in locating the engine part for me. I am a satisfied customer.

​Horrible customer service! I stood in the waiting line for 8 minutes and employees kept walking past me not saying anything as though I didn't exist. Then one of the employees said to me in an argumentative way when I asked if anyone was going to be able to help me , we're short staffed, just be glad to be alive and stop whining about the small stuff in life. I responded, I don't appreciate just standing here not even being acknowledged or told someone would be with me so I could at least know that you all are aware of my presence and that I need help and the employee asked me to leave the store and go somewhere else . I immediately asked to speak to his manager Melissa and she apologized for his behavior and said she would talk with him. Prepare to be treated with disrespect when you go to that particular location on Northgate boulevard.

I went to Napa to get some windshield wipers and the young man working there (wished I had gotten his name) installed them for me. It took him 3 minutes would have taken me an hour! Excellent customer service and greatly appreciated!

Just bought an alternator for my BMW but ran into an issue with a part I needed. I managed to strip the idler pulley bolt and the new alternator doesn't come with one. Both Kaleb and Mo was extremely helpful and patient when searching for my part. They literally exhausted all options trying to find my part, we finally found one. Extremely grateful and thankful for these two young gentlemen's for going above and beyond. Take note Napa management!

Karen, Joel & Rudy are AMAZING!!! We had to go on a "parts scavenger hunt" for my 1998 Rodeo!!! They never gave up!!! Amazing customer service and now they have a lifelong customer!! Thank you again Karen, Joel & Rudy for your persistence!!

Only ASE CERTIFIED EMPLOYEES HERE THAT KNOW THERE SHIT. Called them to see if they had the spark plugs I needed. They quickly checked and had them in stock. The guy on the phone was extremely helpful and answered any questions i had and helped me troubleshoot and diagnose the issue. He let me know to check certain parts first before buying others that may not be necessary. Put items on hold for me. 10/10 Definitely go here!

Bad, bad, bad. Used to be awesome hear. Now, prepare to wait 10 minutes even if you don't need help. THERE IS NO CASHIER. you have to 2ait in line behind people that need help. Aweful.

They may have it if they can find it. No separate will call line for pickup means you waste time on phone calls just to wait again in store. Poor service

Great parts place. They almost always have everything I need for my old cars, from 1954 up to new cars 2016.... they never fail to amaze me with the parts availability and decent prices. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful to boot! I'm glad this place is so close to me as it's the NorCal hub. 6 volt parts... no problem, they have it in stock! German parts, no problem, they have it in stock! Rare car, one year only parts.. no problem, they have it in stock! I will always come here and check first as it just saves me time and money.

This place has no regards for customer service. I just left 2 min ago and I'm obliged to express my experience. So I was in line, wasn't busy at all with the exception of the elderly customer who was being helped at the counter by James (wearing a hat with long hair pulled back). I respectfully waited until I realized that after James finished he was the least bit interested in 1) acknowledging me 2) helping me immediately. He was more interested in finishing up wrapping a box which he took his sweet ass time doing and writing something on the damn box!! Are you kidding me right now?! So I left!!

The location houses their wholesale operations as well as a retail store. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. Just be cautious during the week, to try to use the far north parking entrance and exit to avoid the wholesale ops traffic flow. But hey I come mainly on the weekends. For the past 10 + years this is my go to store for small DIY stuff like wiper blades, air filters, and light bulbs. The prices are comparable to the big box down the street but service is outstanding. This time my it was for a headlight lightbulb. I went alone without hubs to get the lightbulb. I'm no car expert but the men that work here have never spoken down to me or tried to bambuzzle me into a higher priced or unneeded item. There are 2 lines. One is for service meaning if you need to get a part or have specific auto parts questions. Look for the marked sign and stand between the rope markers. The other line is for the cashier to pay. So in my case, I stood in the service line to ask them for the bulb giving them my make, model, and year. If you don't know check your vehicle registration paperwork that should be in your glove box or take a photo of your vin, sticker is on your driver side door jam. The nice fella looked up my info, and gave me options on the two types and pricing. The item was on sale even, 20% off. He told me what the functional differences were. He answered my questions. I made a decision , he grabbed the part and gave it to me. I than went to the cashier and paid. Simple, easy peasy...no intimidation. But in the past, when I was alone and buying more expensive items. After I spoke to the service guys. I never bought on the spot before doing more research. Still no pressures, no rude attitudes.

When something goes wrong I believe in checking out the situation and first trying to fix it myself before calling/paying a handyman. Why pay $20-30 bucks for labor when you can buy a part for $5 and DIY. I stopped in with my hubs on a late Tuesday night. We scanned through the parts book and found the brake light we needed. The cashier was friendly and we got 10% off with our AAA discount. We we'd in and out in less than 10 mins and 5 minutes later my light was fixed. Done and done!

The fiancé's car dies. Well, at least the battery did. One good thing about this situations is that I learned how to jump start a car! Learned how, but didn't fully accomplish because the battery was dead. Super dead!!! We contemplate about whether to tow and service or Push it to the garage and buy a battery. Since we just came home from vacation we opted for the latter to save some $$$. We call the nearest auto parts store; in our case Napa Auto Parts. They were only 2 miles away. Thank goodness! I want to say that their customer service on the phone was way better than in store. The guy over the phone made sure that location had the battery we needed. However, when we got there customer service declined. It's funny because there were plenty of staff, just not placed well or taking their sweet time in the back doing God knows what. Since the fiancé's car was out of commission, I had to drive him around. BUT I needed to get to the gym. So I put my bitch face on (the don't make me late to my gym session or I'll cut you look - (I was already dressed to go)), started tapping my foot until someone noticed and helped us check out. It shouldn't have taken that long! I'm glad they had the battery and the location isn't too far away from home. Just step up the customer service part!

Went into this napa location to buy a mass air flow sensor that online said it cost $83.00 and that it was in stock. When I spoke to the gentleman behind the counter, who was the Assistant Manager, he said the cost of the part was $179 and that he had to order it. I told him that i saw the price online for $83.00 and he said that that one was not available. The guy was also very rude and seemed like he didn't want to be there. I then walked out of the store and went to my truck and called this location and spoke to another person and he said that the $83.00 parts was not in stock but that his Fulton Ave location had it in stock. Horrible service here and for a person of management to lie and say that the part wasn't available is bad service. I'll just sick to buying my parts elsewhere from now on. The assistant manager had on a black button up shirt and was a bigger overweight guy.

Avoid this store at all costs!!! Customer service is non-existent! Plan on waiting 30 minutes or longer as they don't have a cashier!!! You wait behind people who are looking up parts for their cars. The clerks answer phones instead of helping customers. To add insult to injury, saw a few employees just standing around doing nothing. I was ready to spend $40 and just left and will NEVER come back.

I arrived near closing time for a battery. It took less than 5 minutes to go from line to counter to door. I called around for prices and Napa had the lowest price, and I also scored a AAA discount of 10%. The store was clean and well lit. At the parts counter was a professional at his craft and he was very patient with me while I scavenged for my AAA member card. Even though I never look forward to getting Auto Parts, when I do Napa in Natomas is going to be my go-to.

If I didn't have to give a star, I wouldn't. Walked in the store, one guy was ahead of me in line to pay. Not sure how long he waited, but he got tired of waiting and just left his items on the bin to the right. Only two people were at the register. One person sitting in the corner as you enter the store. Nobody bothered to greet anyone who walked in or acknowledged any customer who came in. The lady sitting by the front door had the audacity to tell me have a good day, when she couldn't be bothered to help anyone. Nonexistent customer service. Never coming here.

Picked up about $70 worth of products on the store. Went to the counter to pay, and waited...and waited... and waited. No one came to the register, and no one offered any assistance. So, I ended up walking out. Terrible service.

I AM NOT A MECHANIC. I don't work on my car - I don't change the oil. I needed stuff to clean the glaze off the inside of my windshield. Windex didn't cut it. Staff was nice and very helpful. They didn't point to some nether region of the store...they walked me over and helped me make a choice. The store was large - well lit and seemed to carry everything a car owner might need. Had a huge parts department...for those of you that do that stuff. Recommend rlw

Careless attitude and thanks for helping carry the extra heavy battery to my car while I had a walking cast on my leg! WTG- So I returned it the next day. Never again, as I like positive interactions.

Went back to this location and got Sierra who was wonderful to deal with she made the purchase what it was advertised for and was pleasant about explaining how to navigate around there web site

I waited for 25 minutes the other day for assistance with two people ahead of me. They had one person working.. the guy was shorthanded. I went home and tried to apply. The process was so jacked up I couldn't even do it. What a bunch of butthole surfers.

I love NAPA auto parts, they have everything I need especially at this location. This is the shipping out location so they have everything in stock. If your going here Rayford is the man. He is really helpful, knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. He always answers all my questions. NAPA auto parts is by far better than the other guys. If you ever need any auto parts and this is the location to go to. Their warranties are the best. I will continue to call here and tell all my friends as well, and family. What more can I say or ask for from an auto parts store.

This place is so under man, they need more employees. There only 3 them working twice as hard to help customers. I waited 20 minutes other customers been ther longer then me in front line. I seen three people walk out and was the fourth.

Aunt Kathy (the name on her badge) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Being a person of little (read: no) knowledge of anything car related, she made me feel very at ease. She even walked me out and helped load the parts I'd just purchased into my car. She made what could have been a very daunting experience a very pleasant one instead! Thank you Aunt Kathy!

I've been coming here to buy my oil filters and any other car parts I may need. Their price is competitive for the stuff I need so I come here. Most of the reviews here complain about staff in front of their computers on the phone oblivious to what's happening around them, staff working by the conveyor belt and other staff just roaming the back God knows what they're doing and while all this is happening, the line is out the door and maybe 1 or 2 cashiers helping the line. All that is true. So that's why I order online for pickup. Well, guess what? Even if you order online for pick up, you still have to wait! I ordered a simple item, anti seize. It's been two days since I placed the online order and still I haven't received an email saying my order is ready. I show up to the store and it looked like it wasn't even processed. It may not even been looked at, who knows. I asked why? The person helping me said something the guy who was supposed to work on it probably forgot. Great! So anyway you look at it, prepare to wait. Oh, and forget about customer service, it's non-existent. Good luck if you decide to shop here. You've been warned.

Placed an online order from them which was the wrong part. The returns and exchanges says you can bring it into any one of their stores, so I went to the Northgate corporate location since they had the one I need it in stock. Gave them the order number which they then could not find anywhere in their computer system. Show them my emailed receipts with order numbers and shipping confirmation with tracking numbers etc. but nope, still not anywhere in their system. The gal helping me was trying and kept asking the manager and called another store but they couldn't figure it out. They recommended I go find out which of their locations it shipped from and call the one 800 customer line to resolve. So I left not very happy. I go look at the shipping label and sure enough it came from this Northgate address. I called the 1-800 line and gave them the order number and they found it in their system right away and said the staff at the Northgate location should have been able to figure it out. Now I have to ship it back to return it because it's too much hassle dealing with the retail locations. Already purchased the one I need from someone else.

Went in earlier today for motor oil and a filter. I asked Jessica for a oil filter, didn't say a word to me and she just walked off. She didn't even ask me what level filter I wanted, proselect, silver, gold or platinum. She came back with a gold filter and I asked her after she set it down for a proselect to which she responded with an eye roll and a "lemme check". Don't appreciate the fact that she tried to up-sell me. It's unfortunate my experience was terrible.

It's the distribution center so they stock a lot of parts & if they don't have it you can always order for in store pick up.

I called to get a price quote when the person answered the phone they did not even do a greeting was talking in the background I finally said hello and the guy said Yeah!! I said is this Napa auto parts he said oh yeah! Then placed me on hold for 8 minutes came back and said I had to reboot my computer can you hold again? I than asked him his name and he told me Cameron than I asked for his supervisor and he said they were both busy with customers I stated Ill wait was on hold for another 15 minutes and then was hung up on!! Never will I shop call or visit this place horrible customer service I guess they don't care about their customers!!!

There staff is not at all co-operative. Laura was the person who was assisting me and I must say she was very rude and does not know how to talk to a customer. Never coming to this place again.

I just wanted to acknowledge an employee named Walter.... he went above and beyond to help me out today when my car would not start when I was leaving the store. He came right over when he saw I was in distress... he didn't hesitate to offer his help and his knowledge of old school cars... he was able to get my car started and I was able to make it home safely. He is definitely an asset to your company and exemplified great customer service. THANK YOU AGAIN WALTER.

Never had an issue at this place. They have huge parts selection and ok service. Ordered parts and they had them right away.

Best auto parts store my family and I have ever visited. They were on it as soon as we made an emergency stop to fix our hookup to our trailer to our truck. They got the part, the tools, and even came out to see what they could do. Manager Josh was amazing! He helped us out the whole time till we got what we needed and we were back on the road again. Definitely a go to shop when you are in need of something automotive!!!! Definitely worthy of 5 stars.

Thank you to Hazel and Laura for the great cutomer service. Me and my friend came in to buy brake switch for 1996 Toyota Paseo without knowing if what we need is the swtich with cruise control or the one without. Because of the great customer service and friendly approach of both Hazel and Laura, they made my friends life easier buy buying both and informing us that we can return the one that will not use instead of coming back and forth. Great job guys, keep up the great smile you have. Thanks also to Cameron for the great customer service he rendered when we inquire through the phone. Definitely 5 star

Avoid this location at all costs! This is the absolute worst automotive parts store in Sacramento. The entire staff at this location has adopted a "could careless" attitude and should all be retrained on basic customer service fundamentals. The wait time in line to purchase oil was over 10 minutes long as all the service reps are cashiers too. Whomever decided this design was best suited for the customer should seriously be fired. Take a drive 3 minutes away to the Pep Boys on Northgate and get treated like a customer and not a burden. I would never recommend this location to anybody.

The people that work here are very friendly and communicate well. They are very thorough with checking out the vehicles and give your more than what you pay for. I went in to have my oil changed. On top of that they filled up the rest of the fluids, checked my brakes, and all of the lights on my car. Plus a couple of other things. They explained all of the stuff that they did, and they even gave me a little discount (probably for being a first-time customer). They did the work quickly and I haven't had any issues with my car. A good place to go (at least for oil changes). I plan on going back.

Love this place and always have. But yesterday had a bad experience. I went to the counter for a power steering pump nut. Showed the "parts specialist" a photo of the part I was talking about. The lady would not sell me a nut because she said I need a new pully because the other one was bent. Idk how you bend a pully without a sledge hammer. Im also not sure why she would not sell me something based of a photo. She also told me that the mechanic was lying to me about the pully.... As I was leaving I said thank you and got nothing back but a stare down. Very annoying and disrespectful the entire time I was dealing with this lady. Luckily today I went back and Cesar was my Parts Specialist. Cesar was the man and went all around the store helping me out. Although we could not find the nut, he worked very hard and proved to me that this store is the place to go. He also found me the thread count so that I could order one. I wish I got the name of the lady helping me on Monday night but I missed it with all the confusion. Thank you Cesar, Your the Man!!

Great friendly service. Staff is very knowledgeable on parts. If an item is out of stock on the shelf. They have plenty of inventory in the warehouse behind the retail storefront. Also AAA members get a discount on all purchases.

I went to autozone looking for a few parts and they didn't have anything.I came to Napa and man they had everything I needed. Not only did they have all the parts, my man Paul had excellent customer service and went out of his way to help me with what I needed. Thank you Paul, I found the new go to auto store.

Horrible wait time. Unfriendly staff. Phone keeps ringing without anyone answering it. This is supposedly the Corportate office and they sure are not leading by example. No sense of urgency. Over 9 people in line and you see certain employees not doing anything. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

I love this store!! Every time I have to get a part for one of our cars or batteries etc..I go here..I always get treated with respect and patience and know how!! They always have the best prices and a willingness to help..(Great rewards program as well) I have never been let down and have been going here for many years! I would give them more stars if I could...I have not a bad word to say about any of the team!!! they will be my go to shop to advice and parts!!

Worst parts store ever! The customer service is horrid. We just went in to get 2 cylinders for a truck and the guy that helped us (emp. 90)seemed like an uneducated person that was rushing to get us out. And then we head up to the cashier, who was beyond rude and didn't want to be there. She practically threw the change at my husband. We try not to go there unless it's a last resort.

Just wanted to say that Ash gives excellent service every time i need anything.

Went in to buy new rotors for my ford excursion which has 8 lugs - dude brings out a rotor with 4 looks like off a rice grinder. I said my excursion has 8 lugs - he replies the book says it's correct. Yesterday called after searching some other places looking for an oil of a specific type - no answer so I started driving there, 10 minutes later I arrived with my phone still on I could here the ringing - stepped inside sure enough phone ringing and no answer. I hang up phone stops - guess they don't like the phone.

I don't really know one auto parts store from another, but Hubby likes going here to get parts for the GOAT, so it must be alright. He always seems to find what he needs, either by himself of with help from the staff. Hey, as long as Hubby's happy, then I'm happy. :)

I went in today to buy oil for an oil change. I got the oil, but the service at this location SUCKS! Sorry, but really does. You will want to come prepared with a list of what you want with the expectation of recovering little or no help. When you do ask for help with a product, make sure to say thank you as employees seem to be bothered by you. if I do go back, it will be because I'm have to and no other facility will be open.
