Fantastic service and scenic views make Napa Valley Brewing Company a standout spot along the Napa River. The Nashville Hot Sandwich with Parmesan and Garlic Fries was a flavor-packed delight! The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring a pleasant experience.

Stopped by with a party of 8, 2 kids and 6 adults. We were just stopping by for a quick drink and maybe a snack. After we ordered a few beers and 2 apps with the waitress I felt like her mood changed. She wasn’t engaging and didn’t even look at us when ordering. Someone else in the party asked one of the buss boys if he could send the server over so we could order something else and she never came. The next time we saw her was when she came over with the check. Didn’t even ask if we needed anything else, just dropped the check that no one asked for. I guess because there was a large party auto gratuity she figured she didnt have to care about how she took care of us.

Excellent customer service! The clams and mussels were excellent and the burger ordered was the best we have ever experienced in Napa Valley! The outdoor seating was very well appointed and beautiful! We will definitely visit Napa Valley Brewing Company on all of our future visits to Calistoga!

Went for lunch and dinner the same day as it was convenient to where we weee staying and we wanted to check out the steel drum player. The pale ale and IPA were delicious and we had fish tacos and salad for lunch and I had the cheeseburger for dinner. Great atmosphere and friendly staff and excellent service.

Delicious food, good tasting beers. The red and wheat ale were my favorites! Also dog friendly if you want to get a bite with your bestie.

The little side bar at the front of the entrance is very nice a clean. The bartender makes his own mixes and his drinks are great. I had the spicy margarita and cucumber fizz. If you like spicy the margarita is great.

Lovely to sit for a drink on the Adirondack chairs; fair price for a flight. Nice environment

Excellent variety of beers and great food. The beer garden is lovely on a sunny afternoon. I had the mushroom (Fungi) pizza and my partner had the Tillamook cheeseburger. Bother were very tasty. I had the porter and red ale, both very flavorful and well balanced. Perfect examples of the styles. Served very cold, the way I like it. The tables that border on the edge of the Napa River are a treat to sit at. Bonus points that they are dog friendly, my dog is my baby. Very happy we visited, and will be back! Highly recommended Good service, and food came out quickly.

Location is beautiful, love the outdoor seating, which you can even use on the colder days due to the abundance of patio heaters. The staff is friendly, checks on you often and the food comes out quickly. They have a nice selection of drinks, definitely try the Spicy Margarita and then the Espresso Martini with your dessert! And as far as food goes, each time I visit this restaurant the food is great, but the Wings..... get two orders! So good!

Food was on point I had the prime rib which was on pint and affordable! We all had different dishes so all 18 of us were happy with our choices... good atmosphere great food ! The beer & wine choices were amazing! Got desserts and they were tasty!!! Coffee was really good! Only complaint would be service was a lil sparse, but it's like that everywhere since Covid!! We will be back!!

Came here to on a busy Sunday, and the outdoor patio was packed!! Between sitting in the sun and indoors, we chose to sit indoors and was lucky to have the entire dining area empty for the majority of our meal. There were plenty of options for Sunday lunch/brunch, and our party of 6 had many options to choose from! A few highlights for me, the cream of mushroom was excellent, as was the pear and gorgonzola pizza. *chef kiss* Service was great and waiter kept the bubbly flowing. Great meal!

Despite the low Yelp rating, I decided to give this restaurant a try one Thursday afternoon around 4pm, an odd hour when most places are closed. To my pleasant surprise, it was open and had beautiful outdoor creekside seating. I'm glad I didn't pass it by based solely on the reviews. The Tillmock burger I ordered was generously sized and delicious. My friend got the Sausage Rigatoni, which also had lots of flavorful sausage and sauce. We shared some Mexican Street Corn as a side, which was a nice touch. To complement our meals, we ordered a bottle of Conundrum white wine and were able to take home what we didn't finish to enjoy later. Overall, I'm happy I gave this place a chance on what would normally be an off time for dining out. Between the scenic patio, tasty food, and good wine, it turned out to be a lovely weekday afternoon meal to start off a girls weekend gateway.

The space is beautiful but service was very cold and the food was overpriced and waaayyy over salted. We had to stand up to find assistance (even to pay the bill) and hey were maybe 1-4 full on a Monday afternoon. Tourist trap.

Vegetarian review: the place is very heavy on meats and seafood but they have some good vegetarian options as well! Even on a Wednesday night, the place was popping with customers and live music! Great outdoor seating ambiance, and bathrooms are easily accessible. We weren't too hungry so we decided on full vegetarian meal and keeping it light. Boy did we over order! We had the pasta avocado main which was a nice creamy light dish with a small kick of spicy. The fungi pizza was thin crust and the cheese was more stretchy than those seen in tv! We ordered 3 side dishes and they were also plentiful. The summer risotto was a full on main dish itself! It had corn, oyster mushrooms, and small strands of fried potato that breaks up the textures making it crunchy. Broccolini was light with also a hint of spice from the pepper flakes. The trio of mushroom is a must! I thought I overdid it since every dish so far has mushroom, but the trio has some of the crunchiest mushrooms ever! I've never described mushroom as crunchy before but it was also the first time I heard crunching sound biting into a mushroom! My wife looked at me like a crazy person until she had bitten into one and she went, ahh i see what you mean! Even my 4 year old said he heard it when he ate it too! As for drinks they have a big menu and a full bar. I got a draft hard apple cider and it was pleasant. Looking forward to coming for the ambiance and good food. Beware of the portions and share or be ready for left overs!

Post our 4.5mile hike, this kid wolfed down one, then a second order of "Pasta Nada" which is EXACTLY what the boy wanted... Also I accidentally tried to order this kid a pineapple fizz thing that had CBD in it! Thanks to the waiter for catching it!!

Uhhzz.... its a great location for a brewery, right in the middle of a decent size town. Stopped here because my friend want to have some beer and small snacks to munch on. This restaurant is well design, their interior, open space, looks clean, and etc. I do have to a little shitty service... even for the front desk. Greeted us like with an attitude, like IDGAF too, because it was like almost 100 degree outside. It's not just you whose is hot and moody. Whatever, we went to seat at the bar, it was a little cooler inside. One of the bartender was nice, but we didn't get him. We got this lady instead. I mean that's fine, until with the attitude again?! Like is San Francisco people always like this? It's like they have a RBF, like trust me I really don't give a shit as well. Lol... We asked for some water because it was very hot outside and we were all thirsty... took her a while but that's fine. Me and my friends we ordered 2 beer flights, 1 something Riesling for the lady. Also a sausage pizza, and a garlic cheese fries to share. The fries were good, tasted like french fries, but the guy who serve our food. He said order of cheese fries... but I don't see the cheese on the fries beside a little parmesan on top of it. It's whatever, we got our pizza, the portion and the look are funny... we all laughed. For a $18 pizza, it looks like one of those microwave pizza side. Like no jokes. It's what is it. Guessing this is one of the tourist trap or something who comes to this town. Not coming back to this place again... Ever!

If you are ever in, near or around Calistoga, do yourself a favor and stop by here! We were a group of 6 visiting wine country to celebrate a few birthdays, had this place on our agenda to stop in at and we are SO HAPPY we did! The service/servers was/were amazing, the grounds of the place are absolutely beautiful, the food (a mix of appetizers) was phenomenal, and the best part? The restaurant manager, Bobby (Bah-Bay if you're east coasters) was absolutely wonderful to talk to, learn from, get to know...I feel like we arrived as strangers and left as friends. Don't let this place go by without a visit!!

What a great surprise!!! Fantastic intriguing menu that was so good! The Best Wings were great and the Reuben so high quality!!! The service was quick and efficient. We wanted for nothing. Falentina led the team and made the day with the food. Cannot wait to return!

The benefit of going here on a nice spring afternoon is the outdoor seating and being by the river. It's a great way to take a break from wine tasting and shopping. We were able to have a table right away. The hostess was fine and exceptionally welcoming or friendly as you'd expect. Someone that looked like a manager walked by a couple times never greeted or addressed we will be with you, I guess it's a give and take. We ordered salads, the charcuterie and cheese board and 3 drinks. The server was friendly, but she somehow though we also ordered 2 sandwiches meals which we never made mention. Good news they resolved it quickly without issue and we continued to enjoy our lunch. I think when you come here know it's somewhat busy and perhaps the staff is still working on a reduced team. The prices are reasonable. I'd come back because the outdoor atmosphere is nice.

We came here for dinner the day we arrived to Napa. I wished the service was way better for what this restaurant offers. Our server was busy taking care of all the tables in the room we were seated. The server ignored most of the time my husband why? We don't know but my husband was not happy and I tried to have a decent meal and atmosphere. Fries not worth to get sorry. It was our first time visiting Napa in December 26 it was our day we went. Taking the order was little annoying since we know the server was busy but it seems we didn't get that right service. The four stars are for the restaurant food, drinks and and deco. Wish I could give 5 star but service was not there. I'm confused in the name of the restaurant shows NapaBrewery but the name outside is not the same

Incompetent and aggressive hostess and manager. i'm white and came in with my iranian family, who i'm pretty sure was racially profiled before we were turned away.

Be careful. This hotel only offers shared showers and bathrooms. There is no air conditioning either.

During a recent trip to San Francisco between COVID surges to reunite with close friends, we were lucky enough to get to travel to Calistoga for some R&R! My friend and I popped in to the Napa Valley Brewing Company for a beer during an afternoon stroll, and decided to return with our other friends for dinner that evening. The service here is REALLY high -- you genuinely feel as if you've come to the servers' homes and they are your hosts ... so genuine in their caring that you are satisfied and have everything you could want / need. The beer selection is extensive and yummy, which prolly goes without saying .... hahaha! Everything we ordered for food was SPOT ON delicious, too! We got the Painted Hills Beef Short Ribs (cabernet pan sauce, buttermilk mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, Swiss chard & crispy onions); the Niman Ranch Pork Chop (roasted fingerling potatoes, pearl onions, grilled asparagus & apricot compote) and *had* to make it healthy ... hahaha ... with the Vegetable Orecchiette pasta (white wine sauce with kale, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, shallot confit and Parmesan cheese). We literally ROLLED out of the restaurant with no room for dessert. Supremely full and HAPPY!

Good beer, wine and excellent service. They I mentioned that they have beer. Wait forgot to mention that that also have beer. man: ooohhh, what is the malted liquor, what gets you drunker quicker, what comes in bottles or in cans men: BEER!

I came here because I wanted to try their beer. I was surprised to see that it was attached to a hotel. I went up to the hostess and said I wanted to visit the brewery. She seemed to not know what I was talking about. She did not seem to know there was even a brewery on the property. She pointed me to a bar, and said I could get drinks there. Very disappointed in the experience here. I would not come here if you are looking for a traditional brewery experience.

We dined here in a group and ordered starters, entrees and desserts. Everything was well-presented with no complaints from anyone - food is good. We tried their beers which were fresh and brewed onsite. Service was frequent and the group was taken care of. I didn't mention it yet - their beer garden is absolutely made for a Napa summer weekend, with live music and pleasant weather under the trees and pergolas. Highly recommend.

Wouldn't recommend this place. We had a group of 7 all ordered different plates & everything was barely edible. One plus their fries were great!! We were starving after a long hike. Went to order beer we were told they were out of most beers. Is this not a brewery??

Let me start by saying that I love the Calistoga/Napa area, and nothing beats a great meal after a long and beautiful hike up Mt. Saint Helena. However, I will not be coming back to Napa Valley Brewing Company. We had a group of 7 order food and drinks after our hike, and one drink took forever to come (why?!) and my friend's wine glass never came. Our pizza was burnt around the crust and I've had better pizza crust from Domino's. Even if we'd paid less, the group agreed that our food was just not good. They said they were nearly out of beer to top it off. So...I won't be going back!

Its a beautiful atmosphere,the location is great , but honestly the service and food was not what i expected. The waiter kept rushing us to order food when we where trying to enjoy a couple beers first , the food took so long to come out and the beers weren't any faster. I expected more , I honestly wouldn't come again.

Very bad service. The hostess had major attitude. Then we sat down and sat there for 15 minutes without ever being served.

Arranged for a brewery tour and tastng 2 month in advance (visiting from 3 states away). Had confirmation, etc. Arrived with our party of four & there was nothing on the schedule and the lady in charge of tours was not only not there, but would not respond to their attempts to contact her. The bartender that was there was nice & tried to help by comp'ing us a drink. But that didn't make up for the the wasted afternoon (25% of our mini vacation since we were only in Napa for 2 days) driving to Calistoga and back to Napa. I gave 2 stars only because the employees that were present were nice & polite.

Fantastic food and great service will be back again!! Outdoor seating with large selection of eats and drinks. Something for everyone here. Kids liked it as well.

Great menu with lots of choices. We were seated In a great spot outdoors with lots of shade. We needed it on that sunny day. The local brew was good, and pricing reasonable.

Came here with some friends after a hike. The food was subpar at exorbitant prices. My burger was incredibly dry and I had to ask for sauce. My friends dishes had issues also. Beer was good but they were out of several.

We were excited to see a Brewing Co in Calistoga. The patio ambiance was great with live music. However our service was not amazing. She was either trying to rush out of there and leave or annoyed we were just ordering appetizers and dessert. The food was just ok, sounded better on the menu. They were also out of their IPA and only had two types of beers to buy and take home (disappointing for a brewing company). I would not go back again.

Great location, hotel bar and restaurant were both excellent, easy access to all the good Calistoga wineries. The manager and staff were all very accommodating, could not of been more friendly and personable. Great atmosphere for a drink and a rib eye. All the bar tenders and wait staff were prompt and professional. Big thanks to Val for handling above and beyond hospitality as well as all the staff for making our trip success! Can't wait to book our next trip!

This place is great. The atmosphere is phenomenal, the beer was delicious, and their hospitality was excellent. The food was also great! We had a wonderful time sitting outside in the beer garden enjoying delicious beers with the family!

Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful beer!! Just as you enter downtown Calistoga, this brewery and restaurant sits right on the side of the road. With lots of wonderful outdoor dining under ample umbrellas and lounge seating outside on Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, this is the perfect place to relax, get some sun, and enjoy a cold brew.

Ambiance was nice, aside from all of the bugs, and the busser was great. Food was terrible (think old pastrami for the rueben and frozen fish for the fish tacos - I asked for salsa, server had to check with the chef, nope. So I said, what about Tapatio, and she said, yes for sure...gave me a spoonful of Chalula. Server were mediocre, no clue how to speak to people either. management definitely needs to explain and offer tastings for food, beverage service to wait staff. I asked for a bucket of ice for the bottle of rose I ordered, waited 10 minutes while the server walked around looking at her nails, and then asked the busser, who returned to our table in 2 minutes). Lame, spent over $150 for lunch, and will not go back... yuck.

We were looking forward to a nice dinner on new years day but left disappointed. We ordered the beet salad and short ribs to share. Asked for the salad to come first. Within 5 minutes the shorts ribs showed up, no salad. Didn't want to waste the entrée so didn't send it back. Never was offered a 2nd plate for the short ribs - ate it off my bread plate. The salads showed up after we were half way through our entrée. Had ordered a glass of wine to go with the short ribs, and that wasn't delivered until I was almost done with done with dinner. All in all, food was good but service needs to be improved.

It's a sunny afternoon in Calistoga. This place sounds and looks great. We are seated outside on a lovely patio overlooking the river. Then we asked for an IPA. Our poor waitress said "I'm sorry, we are out of IPA until the first week of July". Ok, we'll have the pale ale. She brings back one. "They're changing the keg". This happened twice. She was very apologetic but what kind of brewery doesn't manage their inventory gong into a holiday weekend? The service was good and the food was tasty but they need to take brewery out of the name Update- just heard from the restaurant, which you can see in the review. I appreciate them taking the time to respond. Without sounding like a complete lush, I spend a fair bit of time in breweries and brewpubs. Old, new, famous and infamous. I have never had a brewery be out of one of their staple beers AND I have never had kegs blow on two separate ordering times. The loser here was our great waitress who really wanted to help.

Nicely done everyone! I love in Atlanta and love oysters but I have never had an oyster this good!! Best I've ever had!! The scalloped potatoes were awesome and the service was excellent too!!

The staff was very friendly. But the food was subpar. I got the cheeseburger. It was cooked to my liking. But had big hard gristly pieces all through the burger. My wife got the turkey brie sandwich. It was deli turkey inside. My son got buttered noodles which was $11 for a small portion.

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch here after spending time at a near by spa. The food and service was great and since the weather was nice we sat outside by the river. The pale ale was also very good.

We were excited to eat here because it had outdoor seating and the weather was perfect. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great. We waited a long time for our appetizers, utensils and refills on our water. The waiter would disappear for at least 15 minutes at a time before checking on us and others. We noticed upon seating that others were enjoying bread while waiting for their meals. We received our appetizer first (after waiting at least 30 minutes) then had to ask for our bread. We visited on a Wednesday and can't imagine how the service would be in a weekend.

It's hard to believe this brewery is over 30 years old. It goes back to the good old days when breweries were few & far between, & were new, different & interesting, unlike now, where they're all just way too commonplace, like wineries. They usually had 4-6 beers on tap in the pub, & my favorites were the IPA, Porter/Stout, & Blitzen Xmas Ale, seasonally. They also once had a fantabulous Barleywine that was out of this world. Originally, the pub had a big bottled beer selection too, but they cut back on that later on. We haven't been there lately. I won't even bother to review the restaurant or the B&B here. This is a brewery with a pub, not a brewpub. The 'wine county'[sic] expensive restaurant is more for the B&B than the brewery.

Nice place but not what I expected. Service was slow and the food was just ok. Food came out before we got our beers and then the server never came back to check on us. We only ordered a burger. But it was over cooked and dry. French fries were great but that's the only thing I can say was good. Would not be one of my recommendation
