This hotel was overall a great value! We really enjoyed the amenities offered but noticed two areas of improvement: the beds and the pool chaises. The bed felt quite old and hurt my back (which has never happened at any hotel before) and I kept sliding down on the pool chaises so it was hard to sit up and read - they could use a cushion on them to prevent this from happening! Overall it was a great stay and we would return.

Napa Marriott has been our go to spot for a Napa hotel for over 10 years. We go a few times a year for a girls getaway and always have a great time. We need two beds and a lot of Napa hotels have just one king bed. The location is convenient right off 29 and rooms are always clean and comfortable. The handheld shower sprayer is a plus as well as the bed slippers and small fridge and a small safe. We Uber everywhere and they are fast, usually right outside. The front desk is very helpful. A special thank you to Rebekah who replied to my text asap as well as her help with our room request. The free wine tasting in the lobby is great place to meet other guests and unwind before dinner. We sat outside in the beautiful fire pit area and enjoyed the s’mores with a few other guests. The hotel lobby and restaurant bar are very beautifully designed and the play area is fun for both children and adults, darts, ping pong table, music. We’ve tried a few other Napa hotels but for a gals weekend we find the Napa Marriott is the best choice.

Hotel entrance, lounge and bar are updated and cozy. Their on-site coffee shop is very convenient and nice; their barista was very courteous. Additionally, it was very nice to have water refill stations throughout. On the other hand, and considering its price, the hotel’s exterior needs work (at least a good pressure wash). The room is equipped with a very old bed and weakened springs. The ironing board is terribly small. The worst part of this experience was the hotel’s customer service, pretty pathetic considering this is something that can always be worked on. The front staff was constantly short and unfriendly. We sat at the bar with an hour from closing and the bartender was unwilling to open a bottle for us, despite offering to buy the entire bottle. Overall, considering the location and price, this hotel needs lots of improvement. I travel internationally and stay at much better Marriott locations. It’s is sad that such an iconic American place like Napa cannot even begin to pair up with similar hotels elsewhere.

We are Platinum Elite so we get upgraded rooms. They staff and management could not be nicer or More accommodating. The room is a decent size bathroom good size. Daily maid service is great! Food is good. Outdoor pool is intimate and nice. Fire pits around the resort. Gym is nice- 2 Pelotons 😀. You can rent electric bikes and ride along the railroad trail- $30 daily fee includes wine happy hour, dessert and 1 hour bike rental-

We stayed at the Napa Marriott to celebrate a dear friend’s wedding weekend and had such a lovely experience! The hotel was beautifully maintained, the staff was incredibly accommodating, and the overall vibe felt celebratory and relaxing. From the spacious, clean rooms to the cozy outdoor fire pits and bar area, the space made it easy to gather with other wedding guests and enjoy downtime in between events. The location is convenient for exploring nearby wineries and downtown Napa, but honestly, we were so happy just lounging on-site between wedding activities. Big shoutout to the staff who made check-in seamless and offered us complimentary waters and local recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again for a future Napa getaway!

We stayed here 3 nights. The first evening, we had dinner there (which was quite disappointing). The food is nothing to brag about. Our server was cordial and tried her best to serve our table of 6. The rooms need renovation. Towels and sheets had a strange smell to them. The one thing we did like was the in-room coffee!

Really good stay at this hotel. Very close to five stars (save a few recommended improvements).||Location is solid with a ton of parking. Property is very spread out with quite a walk from the lobby to most spots (suggest you park around the back closer to your room). The rooms are holding up okay but they're dark inside. Sleep quality was good for the two nights of our stay. ||Loved having a club lounge. It was surprisingly good by US standards. One evening featured delicious roast chicken and an incredible tray of burrata and heirloom tomatoes. ||Destination fees are always annoying but at least you receive good value for this one if you exploit all the options. We would have liked to use the bikes but the app kept failing to release the bikes because we didn't have Bluetooth enabled (we did). Instead we drove for a walk at the nearby Alston Park (stunning and well worth a visit).||Monica on the front desk deserves huge praise for her tireless, friendly assistance throughout our stay. She is a credit to the hotel. Gloria in the club lounge was also so sweet and helpful. ||Our stay was good but could have been improved by banning smoking around the pool. It really spoiled my swim. The long hallways are quite tired and depressing. They need something to help brighten the mood.

Google
The front desk staff were always on the ball and super helpful. The hotel is very dated. Cleaning staff doesn’t seem to vacuum everyday. The biggest thing that that didn’t make any sense was how uncomfortable the pool chairs were. After a long day with clients, I would go to the pool, but I couldn’t sit out because there’s no padding. Other guests and I would joke why they just didn’t go to Target and grab Lawn chair cushions. The bar doesn’t open with a real bartender till four so in the meantime, a server (who clearly didn’t want to be working) could only give you basics. It’s in a great location, but next time I will stay somewhere that’s more updated and comfortable

Yelp
We always stay at this Marriott when we visit Napa, which we do 1-2 times a month. We like the location because it's close to downtown, where we do most shopping and dinning besides the winery visits. Front desk staffs were mostly friendly; though, we did get someone whom seemed to have a bad day (no smile and wasn't paying attention to what we said). Hotel rooms are nice and clean; they provide liquid hand wash instead of soap, which we appreciate. There're also complementary coffee, tea, bath products in the room. Bedding - especially their pillows are very comfy and nice; we always sleep well and no neck pain in the morning. They have Disney channel, which is good for kids (only channel my kid watches). My kid loves their pool here because it's clean and decent in size. It's open from 6am to 10pm; it's heated so we go there early in the morning before checking out sometimes. We went there in the afternoon yesterday, they had a pool side mini bar. However, for some reasons the female staff (bartender?) skipped us when walking by asking for orders, twice. So I went to the bar to get our first round of drinks ourselves. Later, the male staff came help out and was offering excellent service, attentive and quick. Therefore, service depends on who we get. The pool side bar closes at 5pm; hence, if you want drink/food, you'll need to order at the bar and tell them it's for the pool. No glass in the pool area, they'll need to give us drinks in plastic cups. Their fitness center opens 24/7, which my husband uses sometimes. Parking is $10 per day, which is reasonable. They have a nice bar and restaurant; staffs there are always friendly during our stay there. They also have a nice size member lounge, where they have nice options of snacks, beverages, breakfast, etc. During last stay, my friend ordered a smoothie from their smoothie/coffee stand (next to member lounge); the service there was slow because only one person working with multiple orders. My friend liked the smoothie though. Overall, I recommend this location and we will continue coming back during our Napa visit.

Yelp
Overall a pretty good experience. Most staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Most were also happy to answer any questions I had, and was a pleasure to be around. I only encountered one front desk employee who behaved a bit condescending and short with me which was a bit disappointing since it was during check in. It was to a point where I entered a different entrance to avoid running into her. As per previous reviews, the property did seem a bit outdated, but nothing that affected my stay. The only complaints I would have is the cleanliness of the bathroom and the broken light that would barely light up anything even when it worked. I was on ground level and had a fireplace outside, but felt like the space was a bit too small for it. It looked like it was going to catch the bushes on fire! Some things I really enjoyed was the pool area and nightly wine hour! They provide towels in the pool area, and can order some food + beverages to be sent to you as well. Overall alright, but will probably stay somewhere else considering how isolated the location is from wineries and downtown. It was my first time staying in Napa so lesson learned!

Yelp
I enjoy staying in Marriotts because they have consistent standards throughout their hotels. This location is no exception. The bathroom was bit cramped but still enjoyed nice and clean bathroom. Bed was comfy too. This location is convenient because it's so close to lots of shopping, restaurants and the freeway. I would like to stay here again on our next trip. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
It's about 10 minutes by uber to downtown Napa and has a great social areas for guests! I enjoyed my stay and was very happy that they gave us a first floor room with a personal fire pit. I'd definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Not sure why they would use all these chemicals to clean with that are known to cause cancer! I was wondering why I was feeling nauseous.. then I see this sign Uh use cleaners that don't reek

Yelp
Marriot At first it started off great. We were checked in by Rebeca and she was super friendly and gave me a wine bottle for my birthday. The rooms were clean and housekeeping staff cleaned the rooms everyday and did a thorough job. All the staff we encountered were very attentive. On our last night, we decided to get a drink at the bar and Miguel helped us. I had asked something and he just stared and would not talk. He did that a couple of times and I thought it was a language barrier. One of his co workers passed and I asked her if she could relate the information because he was not responding. It wasn't until there supervisor came out and all of the sudden he could speak. His demeanor when given us the drinks was aggressive and harsh. My partner drink was not mixed at all and said it was a really bad drink. It was not drinkable. He continued to treat us as very disrespectful and without talking. We left the bar confused and extremely upset. If you don't want to work or help customers then send someone else. Spoke to Peter and hope they speak to him, because nobody deserves that level of disrespect and unkindness.

Yelp
My husband, 9 month old daughter, and I stayed 2 nights here for a conference and thought it was pretty great! The rooms are super clean and felt updated. Check-in was easy and they even had a room ready for us when we arrived very early around 11am. The shower was absolutely pristine - my husband and I do this thing where we'll rate a shower experience, and let me tell you, this one was a 10/10 for the water pressure alone. They were very accommodating with our requests for a Pack and Play, and it was already set up in our room when we walked in. We took full advantage of the wine HH from 5-6pm and the s'mores kits from 6-7pm. There are multiple areas on the hotel grounds to relax outside with fire pits, which is so nice! Even though it was raining on and off for the weekend, we managed to find some dry furniture to perch upon. Why not 5 stars? The A/C unit in the room was SO loud every time it turned on, and this ended up being a huge source of stress for us with our daughter's nighttime sleep. The room wasn't big enough to position her crib in a different area. I would just be mindful of this fact if you (or a loved one) are light sleepers!

Yelp
The service in the bar and restaurant was some of the worst service I have ever received in my life. We asked for coffee sitting at the bar and waited 20 minutes. Then someone came out and told us we couldn't drink our coffee at the bar, we would have to move to a table 5 feet away. Mind you, the bar and restaurant were empty. The bartender was also very rude the entire time and treated us poorly. Every staff member, with the exception of Luz, treated us poorly and like we were a burden.

Bev L.

Yelp
Very disappointed in our stay this weekend. For the Bonvoy points required to stay 88, per night this place needs a facelift. Beds are old and saggy outdoor patio furniture has holes, dirt spots and needs replacing. Planters around outside are all weeds. Food in restaurant overcooked ribs that took 50" to get.

Yelp
This Marriott property gets 3 stars due to its location and friendly staff. The location is excellent as it is Approx an $8 shared ride to downtown Napa and winery row begins close by on route 29. Believe the reviews the photos show a beautiful hotel and spa in reality this is an older property that needs a complete makeover. The lobby has been renovated but the rooms are just beat. Our heater sounded like a car engine and only allowed for cold or very warm air. The noise kept us up the first night, so we just turned it off. We did have their engineer check it out with no problem found. Check in as an upper tier Bonvoy member was not professional at all. I asked for an upgrade one that I automatically get per my status and was told I was in the best room in the hotel. BS alert here. Feel free to book room 1020 and good luck. Updated: How could I forget the sliding barn door for the basura that provided no privacy at all. I ended up using the lobby restroom if I needed privacy and I would leave the room when my wife required her time. Wonderful...... We could not access the wireless network, and the front desk said, and I quote "We have terrible Wi-Fi, and you should just use your phone". If you know you have a known issue why not fix it. I did receive their wireless support number, and they got us connected with no issues. I could provide more faux pas at the front desk, but it is apparent that the staff needs some additional customer service training. The M Club was great if you like luke warm eggs and potatoes accompanied by fruit that appeared to be days old. The pastry offerings were similar to what you buy in the day-old pastry section. To summarize a great location just be aware that this is not a premier Marriott property. Pro tip: The daily evening wine hour is a good take with unlimited samples from local wineries.

Yelp
Nice location that's only 10 minutes from downtown Napa. I got a 30$ spending voucher per day which was really nice, check in and check out was easy and staff were friendly. I didn't take any pictures of the room because it was such a long day of travel. It's what you expect at a nicer Marriott, clean bathrooms, spacious room with a king bed and I had a handicap accessible room looking out to the parking lot. Just sucked the weather didn't allow me to enjoy the outdoor space. They had a "Yard" with some outdoor games and fire pits, plenty of seating. They offered a lot of things: free wine pour(tasting) 5-6 pm on weekdays, HH at little summer with great specials, morning yoga and so on. I enjoyed my breakfast and was taken care of my Gloria. However at night when we went to grab a drink, it took a bit longer for us to be greeted or noticed. The male bartender with longer dark hair wasn't the most pleasant but he made a good drink so I'll give him that. My one main complaint was that the pillows they give you are too flat and don't have any density, I ended up sleeping on the decorative pillow because it was more firm. Overall experience was good, I would stay here again when the weather is nice so I could check out the other spaces and amenities.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel for a business trip. We needed a hotel that was close to a winery we had plan to go to. The winery, Silver Oaks, was only 15-20 mins drive away which was perfect. The complex is large and has a restaurant/cafe along with plenty of outdoor space that included fire pits, darts, corn hole, ping pong tables and a pool. The pool was actually really dirty so we didn't get to use it. If you have platinum status, you do get access to the lounge. They also have events lined up throughout the day like yoga, wine tasting and smores. The spa and gym is in a separate building. The gym is nice and has everything you need for a good workout. Given this hotel only has two floors, I was situated on the first floor, situated in the back of the hotel which was a long walk from the lobby. I had a king sized bed along with a patio (no views). Everything is great about this hotel except the walls... it's super thin! I heard notification sounds from the person next door and their conversation very clearly.

Yelp
Eeek... don't let the photos on their website fool you like it did us- this place looks like a motel from the 90s; not sure how this can be called a Marriott. As a Bonvoy ambassador, we were upgraded to a suite with a garden view. The room looked like a general room and I can't imagine what the average room looks like. The garden view featured dead bushes, wet dirt, and a poorly paved sitting area. The place needs a lot of remodeling before it asks for $250 - $400 a night. We decided to leave after checking in and are on our way to the Westin a couple miles across town.

Yelp
Nice and comfortable hotel in the Napa Valley. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well kept. Lots of outdoor seeing space for lounging and relaxing. Just a short drive from many of the large surrounding wineries and vineyards.

Sunyi C.

Yelp
The staff was super friendly especially Rebecca at the front desk. She answered our questions with patience, gave us wonderful recommendations of restaurants and wineries and reminded us the perks we should use with our reservation. The room was spacious with the bathroom newly remodeled. The evening free wine was a nice addition to the stay. We will be back next time we visit Napa!

Jill D.

Yelp
The staff is nice the hotel is worn and tired. all surfaces are stained and worn elevators terrible also the outside patio is all stained including the sofas and pavers. A Great spot but shouldn't be called a spa resort! Clean it up Marriott

Yelp
Great hotel and spa to stay at while in Napa. Comfortable and luxurious with all the amenities and accommodations. Access to the M Lounge gives you 24h access to snacks and drinks as well as complimentary breakfast every morning. It's a good location and ideal home base to return to when out visiting the wineries or the many amazing restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Spent two nights here for a work retreat. I arranged a meeting room with breakfast and lunch for both days. Everything was great. Top tier customer service. Big thanks to Nick, Joanne, and Blossom.

Yelp
I've been to countless Marriott properties and am extremely loyal. I've never left a review. The condition of this property was shocking, especially considering the cost. The location is good and the exterior is lovely. Unfortunately the rooms are very small and the property is out dated. The rooms have a damp, musty feel. I said something immediately upon arrival. The gym was a nice size and the fire pits are great but I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Yelp
I was looking forward to our stay here. We are bonvoy members and like to stick with marriott hotels. Unfortunately, this hotel was not up to par with our other marriott stays for the $350+ a night rate we paid Pros: convenient location, parking overnight is $10, complimentary lobby wine tasting from 5-6pm and s'more kits to use in the outdoor fire pits which was cute. Nice sized pool. cons: bad smell in floor hallways, elevator outdated, poor customer service at hotel restaurant/bar, only 2 floors in the hotel, can hear lots of hallway noise, large spider in our hotel room, limited toiletries in bathroom.

Yelp
Really old and dirty on the outside . Front office staff are a bunch of cholo girls who lack any customer service an d experience skills and don't really want to help except for one person . I was also annoyed because I got charged for food and drinks that I did take from The room after I checked out and that just added to my overall negative experience ther. When I called to have the charge corrected they acted like I was making a big deal over nothing . Never staying there again . And I really wanted to like that place too

Yelp
I love to stay at this particular Marriott location. We had a beautiful stay over the weekend. Every single staffer from before we walk inside, to the check in area, the restaurant, concierge lounge and more was welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. Certain level Marriott Reward members (which I suppose we were) had access to the Concierge Lounge where food, snacks and beverages flowed all day long. This was great! I will always come back to this location again and again.

Yelp
Was not blown away by this hotel but it was a decent place to stay during our wine country trip. The location is away from downtown so you'll need to Uber most places you go: wineries, restaurants, etc. The amenity I enjoyed most was the heated pool. It was warm enough that we were able to enjoy it on the cold fall days. So warm in fact that you cannot swim laps. We also enjoyed the s'mores as well as the private fire pits in the room patio area. My husband and I took advantage of playing darts and ping pong on one of our afternoon breaks. I looked forward to the free workout classes. The first day it was cancelled because the instructor called in sick. The second day they got a sub who taught Pilates instead of yoga which was fine by me. The class was a good way to start the day but there were just two of us in the class and we had to awkwardly workout in a hallway. People were stepping over us throughout the class. Not great. The gym was also not that well kept up and in a different building so I had to freeze my butt off walking to it on the day class was canceled. During our stay I woke up to the hallways smelling of bacon because they catered breakfast for a conference in the hallways. I was surprised when the lounge breakfast offered no bacon. The afternoon hor d'oeuvres were much better. As part of the amenity they also offered a daily afternoon wine tasting. We tried to make sure we would be around for it on our first full day and it was not worth it! They served really low quality stuff which was disappointing for a hotel in Napa. I would expect them to at least serve something better than basically 2 buck chuck. Oh and I almost forgot, in addition to being woken up to bacon and then not provided bacon we also were woken up to a fire alarm one night. The rooms were decently comfortable but the alarm prevented a good night's sleep.

Yelp
I am a loyal Marriott/Bonvoy member of 20 years with lifetime Titanium status, with over 1,200 nights and always try to stay at a Marriott when I travel. This is possibly the worst Marriott I've ever stayed from my travels around the world. They took great pictures for the website making it look 10 times better than reality. Old, smelly, dark, dirty, horrible location, falling apart and service was OK/fine. Went to grab some food and pretty much couldn't find a clean table or chair outside. This is not your upscale Marriott Resort at all. Not even your decent Marriott Hotel. I would drive an hour to find another location before every staying here again. Don't risk it for this location.

Yelp
I came here as part of a block that my daughter reserved for her wedding. I waited in line at check in and realized that hosts were paying special attention to their rewards clients and offering upgrades. Not so for us.... click click nails on keyboard, no eye contact. We reserved our room several months in advance and requested a king bed. Our room had two queens. I went down to inquire and the host said that the policy is to allocate the beds for regular reservations and then deal with the room-blocks. It was my only daughter's wedding. I didn't expect champagne but the explanation was insulting. After telling me that she said that she could get her manager to come out and tell me the same thing. Not helpful. I also agree with Michael M's review.

Yelp
We drove in from San Francisco on a Friday and arrived pretty early, about 2 or 3pm and luckily our room was ready. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and professional and although it was a little busy, the porter was able to come out to the car to get our bags and deliver them to our room for us, nice! I noticed as we walked to our room there are a few places to sit down, which is pretty cool if you're ready to get out of the room but have to wait on someone or if you want to sip your coffee outside of the room. Speaking of coffee, they have a nice little coffee area, stocked with coffee, teas and everything you need. But down the hall, past the front desk is a fantastic 'to-go' place tucked away where you can grab a gourmet coffee as well as a breakfast snack and I believe it opens at 6am (might want to verify that). Our room was spacious and clean and not dated-looking. Beds were so comfy! I have a separate review for the restaurant, check it out! I enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again. I forgot to tell them I'm a rewards member, so I didn't get the points for this stay! But I hope I remember to contact them soon!

Yelp
Just visited w my mom. Really enjoyed the resort feel w pool, hammocks, big garden w lawn games, daily samples & smores (I missed tring s'mores but my fault), friendly staff, cozy room, safe & fridge, excellent landscaping w redwood trees & grape vines! I took a star bc they didn't have the staff to bring orders poolside (each lounger has a QR code & woulda been nice), brut rose' sample was Sophia brand from cans & very little given, room was cozy & clean but no microwave and nothing that special for a resort. I would come back IF all pool amenities were provided & I had a better suite w balcony.

Yelp
A huge disappointment of a hotel. I bet my friend this place started as a motel, but was wrong. A local I talked to said the last used to be a Christmas tree farm, then was originally a Marriott before becoming something else, then turned back into a Marriott. Your satisfaction may depend on how much you pay. If you can get a room in the $200s it's not too bad. Location is good but the place seems like a fancy motel not a 4 star hotel. Cons: - Rooms aren't that clean. Particularly the bathroom. Shower floor was gross and caulking was bad. - Rooms aren't that sound proof. Ask for a second floor room to avoid footsteps. - Avoid the first floor parking lot rooms - The breakfast at the club room is pretty disappointing. Come on guys. Add a waffle machine Pros: - Beds are comfortable - Free games and activities - Location is good. Central to much of Napa

Yelp
I've had the good fortune to stay at the Napa marriott on several occasions, it's right off route 29 in Napa and is definitely my preferred place to stay when in the area. Being a full service Marriott there's a restaurant on site as well as a bar and they have a club room which is a great way to save some money on breakfasts, waters, etc. There's a pool as well (I don't believe that it's heated), outdoor gas firepits, and games such as cornhole, darts, and table tennis. Our room had a balcony that overlooked one of the courtyard which was really nice. The one piece of constructive criticism I would have is in regards to the water temperature in the shower (which may just have been in the room that I was in). When turned to the hottest setting the water still was not very hot.

Yelp
We stayed here for several nights while visiting Napa vineyards. Prices at this place are rather high and it's somewhat dated, but comfortable. The property has a nice looking pool, which I briefly used once on this stay. They have an "M Club" here for those with elite status, which we enjoyed breakfast in every morning. The staff in the M Club was attentive and the food was some of the best I've had at any Marriott concierge club. It's also stocked with free water and sodas, as well as a wine dispenser to purchase wine by the ounce. Housekeeping did a nice job keeping our room refreshed daily, we always came back to a nicely made-up room and the bathroom was cleaned too. Water pressure in our bathroom was "just OK' and the shower drained perfectly. The TV in the room worked great, but the channel selection wasn't very robust. The common areas are nice, with fire pits, outdoor and indoor seating and a couple restaurants on the property. There's definitely plenty for ADULTS to do... please don't bring kids, it doesn't seem very kid-friendly, so I imagine they'd be bored. The pool is a great congregation place for adults and nice size for laps, but doesn't have kid-friendly "stuff" there. There is a small play area outdoors, with some odd versions of cornhole. Overall, the stay was comfy and we felt safe here. We'd stay here again, if the prices were lower than this time, these prices were way too high.

Yelp
Here for a work conference. First time. As a Marriott Bonvoy member I've been to many Marriott properties and this one needs a little updating. Ok a lot of updating. Lol Especially outside as your approach the property or drive up. It needs a facelift if that makes sense. The rooms are outdated and unimpressive however the property is quite clean and well maintained. The hotel restaurant (and room service) menu options could use revamping as the dinner options look like lunch options (ie burgers, salads , n sandwiches). Had dinner at the restaurant one night and I wouldn't do it again! Ordered a a steak salad and it was blah. Spring mix was decent but steak (most expensive part) wasn't good, lacked flavor and was barely warm. My colleagues meals (Cavetelli pasta dish and grilled chicken sandwich) were equally blah. To balance the food review, the room service Dungeness crab macaroni and cheese was amazing!! Lots of real crab, cheesy, creamy, piping hot and well portioned with a crunchy panko topping which was good! After viewing the entire menu I think that was their best entree. Lol. Mac n cheese. Eh Conference experience was good! Large rooms, spacious hallways, beautiful outdoor heated patio/area was visible from inside so you didn't feel encapsulated which many hotel conference areas can make you feel. Hotel is just big enough to make it comfortable, but not ginormous where you need to pack jogging shoes to walk from one end of property to the other. Lol Service was good. Special shout out to Maxine who allowed me to borrow her personal cell phone charger for my ENTIRE two day stay!! Can we say generous?! That literally made my day. I returned it promptly upon checkout and asked front desk to extend my thanks to sweet Maxine. :) Giving this review a 4 stars for Maxine's generosity! It was a good stay, but should've been 3 stars for quality of food, look of hotel and lack of wow factor given it's in beautiful Napa Valley wine country. Would attend again for work, but probably wouldn't chose to stay here for leisure.

Yelp
I live locally and last year visited this Marriott hotel quite regularly using the Resort Pass app to go and enjoy the pool. A few things to be aware of: The new chaise lounge chairs are ridiculously and extremely uncomfortable!! They have no pads for them & from what I'm told have no plans to add any. Not having a comfortable place to lounge & relax greatly reduced the amount of time I would stay at the pool. Secondly, Do Not drink the water from the dispensers located at the pool area. I did this once & the results were not pretty if you get my drift. I've seen water added to the dispensers but I think that's all they do. I don't know when or IF they ever clean the large containers. Yuck!! For these reasons & the fact that ResortPass has increased the daily rate + added an additional Fee that covers who knows what I likely will not be utilizing this pool this year.

Yelp
The hotel is great, the grounds are impeccable más they have great amenities (yoga wine tastings, wine tours and bikes, and don't forget the s'mores by fire at night). The pool is also a great amenity that's nice and warm etc. All the rooms are Just finished. Ans recently redone and remodeled. Located at the entrance of wine country in Napa next to the city, shops, tons of restaurants etc. They have a great bar and coffee shop And restaurant on site. . Also the supervisor Blossom amd the manager Terry are amazing. We come regularly and it just gets better every time.

Yelp
I stayed here for my friend's bachelorette party in August. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the free parking, because the rooms are not cheap. The hotel also has a nice bar whereby you can get a quick bite or drink. It was nice to have this amenity, because our dinner reservations Friday night were in the late evening. It was to nice eat something so we would not be hangry by the time we arrived to dinner. I did not participate in the outdoor cornhole or swim in the pool. The grounds are very pretty, and it was nice to take a stroll in the evening.

Yelp
A lady from front desk got worked up by herself and straight up raised her voice at me when I called to ask for a receipt reflecting an extra charge of the waters, which wasn't included in the receipt I got when I checked out. It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and rude. It did not warrant yelling. I remained calm the whole time but I wish I hadn't. That was very uncalled for.

Yelp
We were looking for a family friendly Bonvoy resort in wine country with a relaxing pool scene, and we found it! The Marriott Napa has these two courtyards one with hammocks lawn games and a pool, the other with games & BBQ (certain nights - check which). The management and staff were so welcoming. We had tried to use an upgrade certificate and even though it wasn't possible, there were kind enough to set aside a garden room with fire pit for our family. We have a really wonderful time and it was especially magical for our kids to have a play yard right outside the glass doors. I can't say it enough - these courtyards are really special places - landscaped with a grove of old redwood trees that were built around in the inner courtyard. I could never have imagined a forest scene in a hotel courtyard. We were grateful for the complementary M Club breakfast (bread / yogurt / eggs / meat / potatoes / fruit / coffee / juice). It looks like they also had an upscale table service restaurant for breakfast / lunch / dinner. Also I want to give a special thanks to Kayla - a quick thinking and responsible front desk team member! It's a really special property with unique California charms and a very lovely team at the helm!

Yelp
Cute hotel off the freeway. Rooms were clean and mattress was comfy. I do like the free parking amenity and the amazing back patio with the ping pong tables, corn hole, and BBQ dining area that's opened late night. Oh and we had a complimentary small bottle of wine, energy drink and ice coffee. Very nice touch! This hotel was a nice little surprise. We stayed one night for Bottlerock and enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer.

Yelp
This is my third stay here - all business based and all I can do is hope the vendor changes sites. Upside is that the bar crew is friendly. The food is meh at best, but if you don't want to travel you don't have many choices. The rooms are just tired. A concession to wine country is the corkscrew in the room. The non-restaurant staff was unfriendly and were always openly complaining about short staff and all the issues on site. The gym was fair and good when empty. This kept my and my partner off property as much as possible and I've pledged to use another hotel if the vendor insists on using this site yet again. I'd rather driver over than be in one of these low rent rooms again.

Yelp
What a terrible hotel. We spent $700 for one night, to be near the shuttle for the Napa Half Marathon. I reserved the room in part relying on the hotel's representation that they had roll away beds. Only once we were checked in, getting ready for bed, and asked for the bed to be sent up did they inform us that they only supply them for single king bed rooms. This was after they put me on hold and hung up on me the first time i called down. So now I get to sleep on a hotel floor so my family can sleep before the race. Oh and the toilet is clogged. Save your money, this place is a dump with a nice looking lobby.

Yelp
We have stayed here in the past and had minor issues but given the location, and because we are loyal Marriott Customers, we tried again and were glad we did. This time we got a room on the second floor (some of the rooms on the first floor can be noisy) and the room was a nice size and very quiet. We stopped by the M club for appetizers and breakfast and both were fine, not quite as nice as other Marriotts but good enough. The staff at the hotel are very nice and attentive. I wish I had brought a bathing suit as the pool was heated. I did sit outside to read a bit and they had heat everywhere which was nice. You need to drive to downtown but it is a short trip and we had a very nice dinner at an Italian restaurant just 3 minutes away. There is a resort fee that I believe includes wine from 5-6 in the lobby and one hour use of bikes, we did not use either, I think hotels should just add those fees to the room or only charge for what you use, I know this fee annoys most customers. Parking is cheat at $10 vs the $40-50 some hotels charge.

Yelp
When I was looking for a place to stay in Napa I found the Marriot Hotel and Spa i have to say it looked beautiful in the pictures that in person. The front of the hotel has this nice waterfall but that's it really everything else looked simple. I guess I expected more on the atmosphere and landscape since we were in Napa. The interior was lovely though. The COVID-19 rules is mandated with masks, hand sanitizer and social distancing. As you walk through the lobby there is a bar at the center and across from was the courtyard which is where the pool is also located. There was a gym and spa but didn't get to check it out because on the situation and I didn't ask either of the services were available since we only stayed one night. The rooms were cute. We asked for a queen bed but we got a double bed. As far as cleanliness... everything seems to be in order but it was dusty. All the furniture had dust. So before we could put out stuff down we had to dust the desks, nightstand, and TV area. I would've expected it to be spotless considering COVID at least we came prepared. Staff: friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early. The woman at the front desk checked us in within minutes. Over all it was an ok stay. Note: we can hear the people on each of our sides. The people were very loud

Yelp
Stayed here last week. Attended a conference on site. This hotel is great. The rooms are comfortable with nice linens. When you walk in to the hotel, you are greeted with a fresh fragrance in the air. Check in was a breeze. Shout out to Erica Ruddock for her warm welcome and suggestions for local restaurants. Parking was on site and close to the entrance. Loved the little touches like sitting around the firepit and making s'mores. The evening wine reception was a big hit. We would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Napa. Thank you for an excellent stay

Yelp
My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel and Spa this past Christmas (2022). Even through the holidays the staff was very attentive, the facility was nice, and the hotel rooms were wonderful. Everything about our stay while we were here was wonderful. As a business traveler with Titanium status, I have to say this is one of the nicest Marriott properties I've stayed in. The only downside to this location is the distance from Downtown... if only it was a little closer to all of the wine tasting and restaurants. All kidding aside totally worth the stay. Would love to visit again in the future.

Yelp
For starters-it's a Marriott so not my usual choice for hip, fun hotels but for a quick wine country getaway the price was decent and the location near the town of Napa worked well. I stayed two nights in a room that appeared to be recently updated with a modern color pallet and some newer furnishings. They've added things like usb charging ports by the bed and have also upgraded the lighting. It wasn't a large room but fine for a two night stay. The property is pretty big with rooms arranged on two floors. They do have an on-site restaurant and bar and a large pool in the central courtyard but it was finished for the season during our late October visit. For me one of the highlights was the cheerful and attentive staff at the front desk-great job Daniel. This personable young man who helped us out was so very friendly and cheerful, he really set things out on a 5-star note. They also provide a few touches like hosted wine tasting in the lobby from 5-6 where a local winery is invited to provide free tastes to the guests. We also received access to the concierge lounge where we could get free water and snacks and continental breakfast. In room internet was good and the firm beds and collection of bed pillows gave me a decent nights sleep. The only problem we experienced was an extremely slow drain in the shower/tub. Bottom line: decent Marriott with somewhat recent facelift.

Yelp
Great location. Close to all the fun Napa has to offer. Beautiful courtyard and they have s'mores by the fire at night. Rooms are clean and big with great views. The pool area is fantastic very relaxing. Really good place to stay while you are here
