"Laura Rombauer pretty much has Napa style nailed, and her store reflects it. Housed in a historic brick building, she specializes in items for tabletop decorating, like rainbow-hued Claude Dozorme steak knives, Simon Pearce serving bowls, and imported linens in wonderfully subdued colorways."

Truthfully I'm addicted to vintage attire and anything rustic or just treasure some of the things that are donated to this place. I've done some donating, nothing huge, and also spent money there too. The owner or person that RUNS it, is Very stuck up and mean to me. (4) or more times I have been insulted by her. I've never felt so upset, & depressed that each time I go there she always apologizes for my padronism! Why?! I don't know. She has high end friends there and seems so different from before. Now I don't want to go there. I live St. Helena so much, but she made ALL my experiences a nightmare, just plain rude. I may not be rich. But I still manage to try and find something neat there. Especially "When that place is benefiting the Napa Valley hospice/hospital or Adult Day Services😿. I thought I was contributing!!!!! More disappointed than mad.

I have been ordering Juliska tableware from this store (which I am sure is beautiful and tempting in person!) and can't say enough about the excellent customer service and on-line product selection. 5 stars.

I love this shop with all of its European touches that you can't find anywhere else. The Christmas ornaments are very special here as well.

Yelp
Love Laura's store ... she does such a wonderful job of curating very high quality home and garden furniture and accessories. Also love working with Eva. Their merchandizing is epic, particularly at holidays. We've purchased quite a bit of home furniture from her, as well as kitchen, dining, and garden accessories/items. Have also purchased bathrobes and nightdresses. On the corner of Spring and Main ... don't miss it. It's the best home and garden store in town.

Yelp
I live in Napa so I'm up in St. Helena often as I love the home stores up there. I've spent plenty of money in this store but honestly, every time I walk in, staff never bothers to look up from what they're doing or even acknowledge that I've walked in. I don't want you falling all over me, but a simple hi would be sufficient. I had thought maybe it was a one off but no. Every. Single. Time. One time I asked for help and they were very nice but seriously, acknowledge your customers. Having owned a business in the past, I'd always heard how important it is. You know what? It is.

Yelp
This is the beet shop in Napa Valley! There Christmas displays are extraordinary. Amazing place to shop for Christmas gifts and host gifts.

Yelp
This is a cool little store on Main Street in the little town of St. Helena. I would describe this store as a hodgepodge of L'Occitane meets Sur La Table, meets Toys R Us, lots of stuff to decorate your home with, nice things to add to your kitchen collection. There are alot of things to look at in this little store, so take your time, and don't forget upstairs too. You may just find something! Keep in mind that the prices may be a little high....after all, you are in Wine Country...ALOHA!!! YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2013-(85/100) "Wine Country Knicknacks"

Yelp
As far as merchandise is concerned, I loved this store. Service was altogether another story. Tons of Juliska, scented goodies under *cloche* ....which helps keep the overwhelming scent mixture at bay, cute plastic animals for the kiddies (German brand, realistic)...eye candy galore!! I attempted a purchase...but gave up when the staff/owners ignored me while they were having a discussion in the back room (with the door open) which was obviously more important than my purchase. Maybe you can get helped?

Yelp
If you are looking for beautiful home decor you will find it here. There is a variety of home accessories. I loved the beautiful colorful dish towels. $$$

Yelp
What a lovely treasure in St. Helena. The Christmas spirit is alive and well in this store. I was happy to pick up some lovely pieces that I lost from my travels to Germany. The owner and staff are all lovely and so pleasant to be around. We love their Christmas trees!

Heidi H.

Yelp
Such a cute boutique shop.. my husband and I came in to look around and found a unique ornament for our Christmas tree. They have so many cute things for your home. Definitely recommend coming here

Yelp
If my girlfriend started a store this is what it would look like. We enjoyed looking around and purchasing items for our home. I would describe it is a french/Napa country style. If you're into that, this store is for you.

Yelp
Love this store! Wonderful fun items, great holiday decor. Don't miss their sidewalk sales. Staff are warm and loving.

Yelp
Napa Valley Vintage Home is an assortment, a real melange. They have wonderful scented candles, and a selection of kids' stuff in the back, including animal miniatures&books. The place is mainly decor, so it's not exactly useful. It's an OK place.

Yelp
I love this store. Living in the Bay Area, I get the chance to come up several times a year. Beautiful, upscale home decor, dishes, serving pieces, candles, body lotions, very unique gifts. Love the merchandise and have received excellent service. Helpful and cheerful.

Yelp
Absolutely the best for shabby chic vintage fabrics, linens, etc. I bought a bunch of cloth napkins and had my upholsterer sew them onto throw pillows and they turned out just beautifully. The love birds in the store are a sweet touch. Everything in the store has been carefully chosen. The displays are thoughtful and creative. Great selections for gifts~ especially hostess and holiday gifts! I could spend all day in this store...

Yelp
Amazing to read the other reviews. Cute items but the staff was so incredibly rude it is shocking. I was trying to buy a shirt, the first clerk told me I could try medium and then if necessary they could order a large. I purchased the xtra-small! The second person working there who checked us out was so rude my husband told her and she was just so dismissive I regretted making my purchase. If you are in the mood for miserable treatment then have a visit otherwise steer clear of this place!

Yelp
Worst customer service in Napa Valley. Avoid at all cost. Rude and completely unhelpful. Sales people do not even say thank you when you make a purchase. Horrible experience.

Amy C.

Yelp
I don't think there's any chochtky's (sp) that this store doesn't have! I found really pretty tree ornaments, great Olive Oil based lotions, a baby blanket and Diptyque candles (a few dollars cheaper even). There's are a ton of great things stuffed in here --so take your time...you'll find a gift for all!

Yelp
we also had bad service here....we have visited this store for 2 years running, almost to the day. we go to napa in early february for my birthday. As an experiment we went in again this february. Same crappy attitude as the year before. The merchandise is very nice, high end...but VERY expensive. we had been to other shops along the street...the staff always greeted us...chatted a little. Not at Vintage...they never said hello, never even looked up from what ever nonsense they were doing around the cash register. i would never buy anything here...i am surprised they stay in business. The store was empty both times we visited. if you want to be treated like you don't exist stop into Vintage.

Yelp
I second "Lack of Customer Service" Unfortunately, my experience at the store last week was not a pleasant one. I purchased few things out of a wedding registry but when I picked it up, I needed to change one thing from my order. It was more than obvious by the tone and gestures of the Manager that my request annoyed her. She was rude and very unpleasant. I am a local person and shopped at the store multiple times so not feeling welcomed and being treated poorly was very surprising. I always support local businesses but unfortunately, I won't shop there anymore.

Yelp
I travel to shop...visited the best little city in the Napa Valley this weekend...St Helena California Only one block in the shopping area, but some very cute stores. One very special find... Napa Valley Vintage Home Wonderful collections; everything from Diptique candles to antique grape picking backpacks. Vintage wine bottles, huge collection of Astier de Villatte (pricey but I adore that stuff), Juliska dinnerware, Simon Pearce and William Yeoward glassware, Match pewter, John Derian, local body products by Olivina, cute kids section with loads of Schleich animals and many classic kids books. It's the shop with the fantastic bird cage with the cutest finches. Send the significant other next door to Anna's Cantina for a cold one while you wander this lovely shop.

Yelp
Lack of customer service. I am a local and I've been a customer for many years. But I am sad to say I have probably made my last purchase after my recent experience. In September of last year I ordered a leather cocktail ottoman through Vintage Home, made by Lee Industries. After waiting the obligatory 8 weeks for delivery we received a beautiful piece. Later I was showing the piece to a friend who noticed a tiny fine cut about an inch long in one of the leather panels, like something made with an exacto knife or box cutter, but it was all the way through the panel. I immediately called Vintage Home and the sales clerk who I'd worked with, Eva, came out to see the flaw and take some pictures. She thought that it looked like a factory cut (and not a box cutter cut that could have happened when they received it and cut the wrapping at the store.) She called Lee Industries to report the problem and got back to me with the news that the company would fix the piece but not replace it and I'd have to wait essentially another 6 to 8 weeks for that to be done, with shipping and all. I rejected that idea as I'd paid a hefty price for the piece and already waited my 8 weeks and thought it was on the store/manufacturer to fix the problem without further inconveniencing me, the client. Delivery was just before the holidays and I'd be without a cocktail ottoman or coffee table while entertaining large crowds through the Thanksgiving & Christmas season. Eva called the manufactorer again, and got back to me with the news that a) the company had agreed to have the piece picked up and freighted overnight to North Carolina, repaired in one day, and shipped overnight back to me, and b) that if I chose, we could defer the repair until after the holidays to ensure that there would be no snafus due to freighting issues during the Christmas rush. I chose the second option. On December 29th, I arranged for Vintage Home representatives to come pick up the piece, and I restated our arrangement to the manager on duty as Eva was on vacation, and I thought we were clear. However, nothing that was promised has happened. After 3 weeks, I called Vintage Home as the piece should have been returned already. I was told that they had not sent the ottoman overnight , that the manufacturer had received it on the 16th of January. Further, as of today, January 27th, the repair was still not done, and would not be done until the 30th, and that Lee Industries had no intention of overnighting the piece back, so we could expect it somewhere around the 7th of February. Well that's some service. All in all, we've waited 8 weeks for the first delivery of a defective piece, and then if we do actually receive the repaired piece at the new estimated date, we will have waited an additional 6 weeks. Not okay at all! I suggest that you have a problem with customer service in your company. We paid in the area of $1,800 for this piece that we have yet to be able to enjoy as expected. We are disappointed and disillusioned to say the least.

Yelp
This is an invaluable store - for locals and visitors alike. I love their selection of Agraria home fragrances - they smell heavenly in your home and make an elegant gift for friends. Napa Valley Vintage Home also has gorgeous tableware - french country dishes and serving bowls and platters, and beautiful table linens. The back of the store has an adorable children's section with classic storybooks, cut toys and adorable baby gifts.

Yelp
Nice gift items in this shop. Manager is rude, and does not treat customers with good service. I recently purchased a few items, brought them to the counter. She was on her cell phone the entire time, talking about her busy week with someone. I tried to tell her that she didn't need to wrap my items individually. She asked me what I said, I repeated it, then she apologized to the person on the phone and said a customer interrupted her. This is while I am spending over $100 and handing over my credit card!! She never got off the phone while I was there. I was clearly a nuisance while trying to spend money there.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the service at this establishment is very poor. The owner has low ethics, in my opinion, and I will never spend one single dime here ever again. I do not shop at establishments where I believe there is extremely poor customer service. In this day and age, the customer should be treated better than what this place hands out. After years of shopping here, we were treated very poorly over a small dispute where we were very clearly mischarged for an item. I would very much recommend shopping anywhere else, including Calistoga or Napa. Severe lack of customer service by the owner can set the stage for how the other employees behave. In fact, the error on our purchase took place because an employee was lying to a customer about whether there was a restroom in the shop. The employee claimed they had no restroom. They do, we have used it many times. The customer was upset and the employee was obviously distracted by the very angry customer (who clearly needed a restroom right away) and the distracted employee mischarged us. When we discovered the error and tried to remedy it, we were called liars. Amazing that years and years of purchases meant nothing and the small amount of money we were mischarged seemed to mean everything. It makes me wonder if this business is having financial difficulties? I really do believe that places like this do not deserve loyal customers. We experienced both lying and cheating with a single purchase. Terrible to have to spread the word about being treated in such a manner, but we are still shocked by it.
