I went in looking for new running shoes. I had never bought running shoes in person before. They were so welcoming and helpful. I tried on four different pairs of shoes. I was even shown inserts to help with my PF. What a great experience. I will definitely be going back.

I just started to go to Naperville Running Co ( South ) and I have to say, each time I have went I have gotten wonderful Service. This last time I went ( which was about 2 weeks ago ) A sales person by the name of Erin took care of me and let me say she was awesome, she went out of her way to bring me several different shoes to make sure I have the best shoe for me and by taking care of me we talked and had a good time. I would like to thank Erin for doing a great job, and I hope the Company knows the great Employees that they have, because in the long run, that's what makes the Business strive. As a Business owner myself, I appreciate the good service and I will keep on coming back and referring everybody I know to this Business, again I would like to say thanks again to Erin for doing a wonderful job and keep up the good work because you are the person that keeps us customers coming back thanks again.

I received exceptional service from Robby. He was personable, knowledgeable and great to work with. I didn’t know buying a shoe could be an ‘experience’, but Robby proved that wrong. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

First time customer and was extremely pleased with the level of service at this location. Knew I had been using the wrong shoe for walking/running and wanted to get fitted for the appropriate shoe. Liz was quick to greet me and share her knowledge and offered four different shoe options to try and I found the pair for me. She also recommended a better insole which I purchased as well. Many thanks to Liz for helping me get the appropriate support and style for my needs, will always come back here for a new pair in the future. Highly recommend!

I’ve had nothing but the best experience at NRC! The last time I went in, 3 kids in tow, the sales associate, Kyle, was so kind and patient as we worked through the fitting experience. I had come in asking for my current shoe type but he graciously offered me to be fit again and try additional shoe types. I appreciate that he gave me this option when he could have easily handed me the shoes and sent me on my way. I tried on 3-4 different shoes and still ended up with the Hoka brand but it was great to get a feel for other shoe brands. A few days after I left with my purchase I received a personalized post card written out from the sales associate Kyle again thanking me for my purchase and offering me well wishes. I genuinely appreciate the care and consideration that I have been given from the moment I walked in the store to days after my purchase. Highly recommend Naperville Running Co.

This place has excellent customer service. Julian was a big help when I needed a decent pair of walking shoes. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient. Definitely will be back for future purchases for the family. Highly recommend!

I came to this NRC location to grab a gift card and I had an EXCELLENT (albeit brief) experience. Upon walking in the store seemed clean and well stocked. I was immediately greeted by Robby who was extremely friendly and conversational, asked me how I was doing and how he could help. I told him that I needed a gift card and he got right up (it looked like he had just finishing fitting someone for shoes and cleaning up a bit, but without hesitation he came right over to help me which was fantastic) and rang me up. Robby was quick, yet kind and friendly throughout the whole transaction. I will definitely be returning to and recommending this location to friends and family that are interested in running gear. Completely blew me off. I was looking for a nice pair of athletic shoes. Saw a pair I wanted. Pricey but I didn't care. Asked the dude for a size 10. "Nope" ok. Out of stock fine. But then just paused and stared at me. I was expecting a "hey maybe online or let's see if we can get them " nothing. They aren't hurting for my money and I'm not hurting for their shoes.

I wasn't sure about moving on from Hoka but the super helpful staff let me try on quite a few shoes and I was glad. Measured my feet with their cool machine and all. Definitely worth a stop in.

Consistent, friendly, knowledgeable service every time! My whole family has been fitted and bought their shoes here and not all of us are runners....but its important to have good walking/exercise shoes! Their fittings and shoes helped 3 of us overcome plantar fasciitis. Thank you Naperville Running Co!

I would like to preface this review by saying I haven't actually made a purchase yet, however I did go to the downtown Naperville store yesterday to try a pair of shoes on. Instantly I felt welcomed in the store and the gentleman (forget his name) who assisted me in getting my hold helped me put on my shoes. I loved the shoes that I tried on and then saw the same model in a color I really liked. They did not have my size in stock however the south store does so I will be going there to try on and hopefully purchase. I did ask a lot of questions because I want to make sure I am making a sound investment in the shoes I purchase and I was given honest information about the shoes. I also like that I am supporting a local small business. Can't wait to buy my shoes tomorrow.

Okay, this is a first time visit. The store is just SE of 95th. The store is immaculate, customer service was exceptional. The gentleman helping my better half was knowledgeable and helpful. Truly seemed to have the customers best interest at heart. She tried on a couple pair and the salesperson kept asking her how the shoes felt and which one we liked better. Then there's the price. She asked for a discount, he gave her 10%. She asked for 15%, he gave her 10%. All in all a pleasant experience. We test walked Fox Valley Mall. Thumbs up.

I've been to this location before only to make a donation of my gently worn shoes. This 2nd time I came to visit as a customer. I'm currently training for the 2017 Chicago Marathon and decided I'm in need of a new pair of running shoes. I walked In and immediately was greeted by Jerry. He took the time to listen and get to know me. Measured my feet brought out couple pair of shoes. kept asking how each shoe fit and feels. When I finally made a choice he told me that I am able to try the shoe on treadmill. Informed me about the return policy and also about the discount I would get since I'm in the medical field. Shoe worked out great. Will definitely come back. Knowledgeable, professional and clean.

"We're a great running store, but we don't have what you need." They blamed Brooks for not having my specific shoe in stock. I had to call the running store back home, they had it in stock, and shipped it to me. *Update* thank you, Running Etc (Norfolk, Va) for having the shoe size EVERY time. Seems like the Running Co doesn't fit shoes properly. They blame the manufacturer instead of blaming themselves for not stocking wide shoes.

Visited the store today and Ralph was very helpful! Found the perfect shoes for my fiancé and me :) great experience.

I'm not a "runner" but my son had given me a gift card and I needed New walking/running shoes. It was just the best experience , Caroline took her time to fit me probably with the perfect shoe. I never felt I was being "sold" anything , she just wanted to make sure I was happy with the shoe. I have already been recommending the store & Caroline to my friends.

Today I had an excellent experience with the young lady who fit my shoes--forgot her name but she's the one who also has extremely high arches. She was very professional, patient, and knowledgable with running and answered many of my questions well (regarding shoes feel, training load, hip flexor pain, bunion, arch, cushioning, insert, heel drop, long-distance training as a beginner, etc.), and provided three pairs of shoes for me to try on. Due to our similar foot type, in the end I was happy to decide on the same pair of shoes as what she was wearing, and will get them once the brand restocks my desired color. Previously, I've had experience at other running stores where the staff either a) used fear mongering tactics to exaggerate normal athletic discomfort, or b) acted like the running shoes they picked for me are elixirs capable of solving all physical pain associated with running, or c) guilt-tripped me for taking style/color into consideration. But this time, we finally have someone who actually knows what she's talking about and doesn't BS her customers.

This location is just as fantastic as the Downton Naperville location. I had purchased a pair of shoes from them that ended up not working out. I took them back and was not given any grief. The employee I worked with was fantastic, though I have forgotten her name. She worked with me (for a long time, I should add) to find a pair of shoes more suitable to my feet. I was certainly a pain and kept going back and forth between a few pairs, trying them out on the treadmill, etc, but she was patient and helpful the whole time. I was able to exchange the painful shoes for a pair that ended up carrying me through two half marathons. Thanks as always, NRC!

I came here after visiting a few other shops and can honestly say this will be my first stop next time! I have even since returned with my daughter for her shoes! Laura (I believe that was her name...) was extremely knowledgable and patient while helping us figure out which was the best shoe for our needs. Can't stress what a positive experience we both had!!

What a great place! They take their time to make sure you get the right fit and do not rush you at all. They really seem to care about the customer Leaving happy versus a dollar amount spent. I went for new brooks and after trying her recommendations I left with some perfectly fitting New Balance shoes.

Suffering from planter fasciitis I headed back to Naperville Running where Caroline was so helpful in helping me select a pair of oofos. I went back the next day for running shoes and was disappointed she was off but Marissa took care of me & she too was extraordinary!!!! She even showed me massage techniques for my calves & she was so kind in me taking forever to try on and walk around in shoes.

Finally had a chance to stop into the new store. Not only does it look great but, as usual, the staff is great.

Love that Naperville Running Company is in South Naperville now too! Love the store, love the people! Always ready to help answer any questions you may have. Love the return policy on shoes, very fair! Just recently joined the Running Club...looking forward to many fun group runs!

This location is awesome! I bought a couple pair of running shoes and shirts from Marisa about 8 months ago and still remember how great the service was that day. Not only do I love everything I bought but was also sent a card in the mail congratulating me on the birth of my daughter which we briefly talked about while trying on shoes. I was looking for some additional shirts since the other ones I purchased were great for working out and once again Marisa went above and beyond to special order me some via phone. I am super impressed, this company will continue to get my business.

I went to Naperville Running Company for the first time, and it is the best!!! I really didn't know where to start to find a great running shoe, but Allyssa helped me right away by bringing out several different brands and really took the time to listen to what my needs were and also explain things about each shoe. She made sure I got exactly what I was looking for, my new running shoes are the best shoes ever! I have done a few runs and they are the most comfortable shoes I ever had! A little background: I have never been a runner, but I decided I was sick of that. So, I decided to begin the C25k. At about 5 weeks in, I decided I need to get some serious running shoes due to an agonizing pain in my hip. I contributed this pain to overpronating, which I have suffered from since I was 8. My friend had given me a gift certificate, so I figured this is where I should start. As I walked in, I was clueless. I was greeted promptly about my running needs. After measurement and an inspection of my walk, she came back with 5 boxes. After tying them all on, she then put me on the treadmill with the two pairs that worked best walking. They very first pair I tried, I was surprised to find my ankle looking like it was going to snap because of the overpronation-- it was sickening. So, we tried the next pair. SUCCESS! I did end up buying insoles to completely fix my problem, but she did not try to upsell these and just said it was a matter of preference. 2 days after, and I am now pain free and addicted to running!! It is unbelievable what a good pair of shoes can do and knowledge can do. She also recommended a few first 5ks for me and the c210k because I felt it wasn't very challenging. Lastly, I was so excited to go running I had forgot my sunglasses (not cheapos either). To my surprise, she actually called and left a message stating they were there. Unbelievable customer service!!!
