"Nappi’s doesn’t have a menu in the strictest sense of the term, but rather a list of ingredients that diners can pair together a la carte. A good bet is any kind of pasta tossed with Nappi’s bolognese. The restaurant — which began as a butcher shop and Italian market before transforming into a sub shop and finally a full-service restaurant — accepts cash only, and it’s BYOB." - Terrence Doyle

The most authentic and down to earth experience you will have in Boston. No formal menu, all from the memory of the amazing waiters. Almost anything can be made within reason, amazing Italian combos of various proteins, sauces, and hand made pastas. A ton of options to choose from, so you are bound to find something you will enjoy. BYOW/B. Even with a large party taking up half the dining area, the staff were personable and attentive. Food came out quicker than expected and every. single. dish. was amazing. The owner of the restaurant was coming around checking on tables striking up conversations, and you could feel the passion for the food in the space. Since there was no formal menu, you might expect prices to be a shock or surprise but everything is fairly priced at around 10-20 dollars for great portion sizes. An absolute must try if you are in the area craving an authentic meal.

Unique family restaurant with no menu. Bring your own bottle. Delicious food. The waitresses are super awesome. Felt like I knew them for years. Will definitely eat here again.

Nice place and unique way of no printed menu. They tell you what they have for sauces, meats and pasta..... You pick one of each. I had the chicken Parm which was ok but not amazing. My gf has shrimp carbonara which she feels did an excellent job. So our experience was mixed depending upon the dish. I'd recommend you try it. It is cash only and BYOB.

Cash only and BYOB was all I needed to know about Nappi’s before we booked a reservation. I knew the food was going to be good, but it exceeded all expectation. House specials are posted on a chalkboard and the staff were very nice, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Great service! Small restaurant. No menu. They tell you what proteins they have and way to make it. Food was good but a little pricey for dinner. No alcohol, but BYOB!

We ate our mussels and mushrooms so quickly, we didn't even think to get a photo. The chicken and veal parmigiana, bolognes sauce, and meatballs were all absolutely delicious! Loved that we could bring our own wine! Great service and never felt rushed.

Great little hidden gem. Cool experience because you can bring your own booze, and there is no formal menu to look at. The server lists everything they are serving. We had eggplant rollotini that was amazing and filled with cheese. Mussels were awesome. Chicken picatta was a Lil lemony but great. Fun place.

Cash-only, no menu, all available food read out loud to you by the waitress. A real local spot for quality Italian food, we came on a Friday night and it was pretty packed and rowdy so try to make a reservation. The bread was delicious as well as the chicken parm with spaghetti. If you’re ever in the area and in the mood for home cooked Italian food, I would suggest Nappi’s.
