Tasteless food ever!!! I love Fajitas but in this place they cook it terribly. They don’t even put salt obviously. So tasteless, eating like paper. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Last but not least, if they don’t want to put some salt and stuff but sugar only they should at least make a label ok the sugar container that says it is sugar.

First time visiting. This was a wonderful experience! I’ve never been to any hookah bar. The food was awesome and the service very attentive and helpful.

I wanted to try some local Hookah place with some Halal Food and came across this place on the way. The first impression walking in was that it was a bit plain with decoration and tables everywhere for people. I was told to sit in the back corner because I was only one person. Bit odd on that part because everybody else got to sit where they wanted. I end up ordering a Philly cheesesteak with fries and Mint Hookah. I won't lie about Hookah. It was very good, and Philly cheesesteak was also very delicious with fries. I think if I went back to this place, it would be for the hookah only because the price was pretty good for food and hookah, but the place could use some new decorations to make place look better and some Lively music. I had a wonderful experience at Nara Cafe, and I want to especially highlight the exceptional service provided by Ibrahim. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. His warm personality and genuine care made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. The food was also delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But it was İbrahim’s outstanding service that truly made the experience memorable. Thank you, Ibrahim, for making our time at Nara Cafe so enjoyable!

Good place to chillax but terrible food burger meet was smelling and the server ladies attitude was priceless. She didn’t give a crap for smelling meet

If you are a black female STAY AWAY!! They only cater to thier own or men. I am sitting here as we speak watching everyone be waited on but me. My server was Goka I believe, I am not sure how to spell it. I have been here about 30min and I wanted to order food but I wouldn't dare give my money to these people again. When I sat down the lady told me my server would be with me and walked way. I had to catch her before she walked way just to order hookah. ALL the women are rude. The guy that changed my hookah was named Andres and he was kind. I seen him more than I seen my own waitress. After 30min I managed to flag a different waitress down just so she could get my actual waitress she walks over and says "what do you need" doesn't even apologize for the wait, doesn't introduce herself just rude. She caters to all the men though, address them as sir and everything. I will stick to PARKERZ because they are kind to their patrons. And btw, be careful with their chairs, something kept biting me the entire time. It wasn't like they were busy, she sat there the entire time staring but never walked over. This is HOUSTON, not the middle east. A couple sat next to me and she immediately took their order so I'm sure it's just blacks she doesn't like.

Very good food, good service; i find it a little bit expensive but good; i’m not sure if the parking is free. I just tipped without asking.

Food here is always good and consistent. By far the best of the best. Service is fine. During the day one person mans all of the tables, but she's good at what she does. Ambiance is cool, but some would say run down. But it doesn't take away from the service and amazing food.

I pad this place all the time and never stopped in. Finally decided to try a new place and Nara was it! During the day it's pretty chill and ebs throughout the evening with people playing cards doing work and enjoying company. The tea was great and glad they had decaf options bc of the time off day. The hookah was great, very smooth and labeled, I always appreciate that. The burger was huge and the flavor was great. They have the crispest fries. It's a cozy place, huge. Nara never Kloses lol

If you're in the mood for Mediterranean food and hookah, look no further! Nara is located on the more Western portion of Houston and I wanted to give it a try after some friends recommended it and boy was I glad I did. I loved that they had indoor and outdoor seating. The server is always nice and greeting. I won't speak much about attentiveness because she's the only one whom I ever see serving the entire restaurant so hats off to her for holding the store down! Food is always good when I go so no complaints there. We typically opt to pair the food with the hookah and it hits every time. Hookah blows nicely and the flavors are present. Most recently tried the 101010 and lovedddddd it. Heads up there is automatic gratuity applied to your bill. Can't wait to revisit and I definitely recommend to anyone in the mood for Med food and hookah!

Omg! If you haven't been just go. Get the Jason bowl! Just Wonderful!! Best hookah in town . Not much as far as ambience but then again who goes to Nara for that? Great hookah! Great food! Great service! Did mention very very affordable? Yeah, just go!

Bar workers need to learn some customer service skills. "What do you want?" That's why we left.

Good food and HUGE portions! Excellent milkshake which was more like a smoothie but it was good! Cool atmosphere packed with all kinds of different cultures!

Food is excellent but be mindful to watch your bill on the hand held device that includes automatic tips : / server will handover the device at payment screen so you'll have to go back to check your lined item on bill

Very casual hookah spot. Stays open till 4 or 5 am. I come here sometimes thinking it's a great place to study only to realize that the wifi rarely works. Otherwise solid place to get good hookah. Nice place to play boardgames with friends as well. The space is big enough to accommodate large groups. Haven't really tried the food so can't comment on that.

EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD AND FAST HERE Especially after a night out of drinking with your friends this is a great place to debrief and have amazing food. I order the chicken Shawarma with a side of rice and the drink Kasamiro is to die for!!

The day time manager was so rude. She must of had a bad day because it definitely showed with the service. And the staff don't notice new guests. I had to wait a long time for someone.

Good place. My best friend likes the hookah and food here. I like the tea, smoothies and food. Not too much for the Smokey environment but I'll deal with it on occasions for good company. The manager/owner/staff Akhmed (not sure if spelled right) was pretty cool. Tabouli and chicken hummus was delicious. Other people liked their take on cheese pizza (it's called something else though).

Trust and believe this food bomb and will get messed up every single time no crumps left either period.

This hookah lounge is the only place I am willing to smell hookah for the sake of the food, drinks, and desserts. Their mint lemonade is the texture of a slushy, it is my go to drink whenever I'm there. Their chai pot is good, compared to other chais I've had in the general Houston area this one has a stronger tea flavor. As for food, I usually get the philly cheesesteak-look, I know we live in Texas and I'm eating a cheesesteak at a Mediterranean hookah bar. It hits the spot and it automatically comes with fries. I highly recommend it if you're craving something close to a burger but you don't want a burger. Their kenafa is made to order, so the wait can range from 10-20 minutes. But it is 100% worth the wait. I order it every time I'm there. Tips are automatically included and there are no cups of water, only water bottles. The restrooms are a bit smelly but that's pretty much my only complaint. It can get really hazy, but you're in a hookah bar so don't be surprised lol.

Came here as I heard a lot of it, have a mini celebration as I am new to the area. I thought about checking it out, it's a super casual with an outdoor seating, there's hookah inside and outside, we have ordered a few entree's however we found a razor in the rice!!!!! Thankfully no one got injured however we didn't get a refund and we paid the check in full which was OK for us but they've checked the kitchen and they have realized that the razor fell while cutting some food at the back and it accidentally fell I have no idea how but I am definitely not going there again.

GREAT SPOT! Food is by far amazing, low key ambiance which makes it so wonderful to hang out with friends! I do not recommend it for children or family since it's always full of large groups of men due to it being huge for poker/cards etc. Staff is so friendly and best part they're open til 5am. We always love going here to hang out and eat. The food never disappoints so you have to try every single thing it IS worth it!!!

Came to Houston for a short weekend and was recommended to this place. Everything I had was amazing. No alcoholic beverages but the mint lemonade I highly recommend. Our waiter Rawad was amazing and gave great recommendations. The hookah was smooth and well worth it. It did not disappoint!

Mahmoud manager was great and provide great hospitality. Made up for the service provided from the server. Will come again. Food was delicious as well and great ambiance. Thank you.

Stopped here on a late night looking for food. The food was exactly what we needed to eat. I had a chicken shawarma.

10 out of 10. Food was good. Service was great. Reasonably prized. And hookah was on point. I will be back

My friend comes regularly to smoke hookah and have an Arabic coffee. I met him there for a late lunch. It's very smoky indoors with all the folks smoking hookas. We ate outdoors. Customer service is lacking. These folks are making lots of money from smokers, why can't they hire more wait staff? I ordered a mint lemonade. It's delicious and the presentation is nice. The tabbouli is bland and nothing to write home about. The hummus is good. The portions are generous. I just wish they had better pita bread. Our waiter Tarek is nice but he needs assistance. Would I go back? Only if it's to meet friends. There's better Arabic food nearby.

Not a fan of this place, too much smoke with no real ventilation system and food/drinks are strictly average as well as overpriced. Service was underwhelming and overall experience was nothing to write home about.

Absolutely love the knafeh(as you can see almost all gone), hookah and great service! Great little outdoor patio, unfortunately next to the parking lot but not a big deal.

Cool casual place to hang out! While I was getting my car serviced I walked over to Nara Cafe for "linner". It was authentic and good but not great. I would go back though. It seems like a nice Hookah lounge with decent food, it kinda gives you a sports bar feel without the bar. I ordered the lamb chops, hummus and rice. I also had some good baklava for desert. All were good but not great. However, to the casual person it's worth a visit.

Love Nara. The food is always fresh!! I've been all times of the day and night. Always promptly seated. Parking at night on weekends is tough. But they do have secured parking around the back. I love to play games here. You can bring your own as well. The lamb chops medium well are great. Shrimp is good. Servers are very attentive. This place is a hidden gem! And they're open late night! Fresh food. Love it!

Best hummus I've had. Got the lamb chops with tabouli. Great portions. Sat on the patio because the inside was bustling. Had a good hookah that lasted a good minute. Like this place

I absolutely love Nara, the food is AMAZING and pricing of it is even better. Service is quick and attentive. My top favorite picks will always be their hummus, pizza, and grape leaves. Will definitely keep coming back!

I had the grilled shrimp, juicy big flavorful pieces of shrimp The salad was delicious and the hummus was fantastic. Everything on my place was perfect honestly and for The price u can't beat it. This is not food related but their hookah was excellent. Soooooooooo damn strong lol I had to just stop bcz it was way too much for me but the person I was with loved and tolerated it well. I would def come bk here to chill And most def to eat. They hv good food. The only negative is tht I and my guest had some strange looks from one of the managers here. I don't know if it was racially motivated bcz we were the only Blk ppl there so I won't elaborate much. But.... I'll see the next time I'm there.

This is one of my favorite hookah spot in Houston! They have great food selections and hookah very reasonable price! My friends and I go here every week. But I always see a lot regulars so I am not the only one. The manager is always attentive and walks around. I usually don't write a review but as much I brag to my friends about this spot. This place definitely deserves it! Thank you!

I've been going here for a while now. The portion size of the food is really good. The hookahs are good. My friends and I enjoy playing cards while hanging out at Nara's. The pot of tea is also pretty good.

service is super bad, if you are not a regular then don't expect good service, oh you need to tip on top of the included tip to get bad service!

The service is phenomenal. However, that's really where it stops. The place is always always so jammed packed with people. Chances are if you don't get there early enough, you'll be struggling to find a parking spot. The food is very very subpar. I'm not sure about the deserts however. They look great but I'm not big on deserts. There are many other Mediterranean spots in the area that are much better food wise. It is a nice place to go and catch up with friends while smoking hookah

It was very fool with natives - always a good sign ! Love it that you can sit outside ( not gorgeous views but the smell of hookahs is not overwhelming. Loved the prices and food . Service is ok but not outstanding.

The food was really good. The vibe there was so relaxing and welcoming great hookah for a good price. The service was good they were pretty busy so it did take them a little while for them to get to us but once they got to us it was great!!

Hidden gem! It's one of those hole in the walls that's ALWAYS packed so you know it's good! Good for late night eats and the food menu is extensive. Service is very fast and everyone works really hard and is friendly. (3 stars due to aesthetic and crowdedness lol)

Great Ambiance. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Customer service is prompt even during busy times. I tried their Dinner Buffet, which I believe is only offered during Ramadan. And I think it's a best ethnic buffet in town for the money! Their hookah, in my experience is the best quality and keeps the flavor and smoothness for the longest time. A great place for evening hangout with friends over some middle eastern snacks and Hookah. I have yet to try their food from the menu but I am optimistic they will be as good as their buffet.

My first time here from Washington DC..it was a bit Smokey inside so I asked who the manager was. I spoke to Mahmoud and was able to open the doors to let fresh air in..Amazing service here and great hookah. I'll definitely return again. Thank you Nara

I got here at 2:01 I asked an employee and a manager was it open seating. I didn't get service till 2:27. Which is crazy. Use to be one of my new spots. I not come back now.

Nara's food is hit or miss. I ordered the chicken tawouk sandwich with garlic and pickles (side of fries) and it was not that great! It made my stomach upset the next day and I would not order it again when I go back. However, their fries are delicious! They have the option of ordering spicy or regular fries (you can still ask for the spicy dipping sauces on the side if you order the regular fries) If you love garlic and the chili hot sauce, ask for ALOT. They barely give you any with your food and they're super tiny. I also ordered their sweet tea and it was also very good! Good amount of sugar. Was not bitter or too sweet. Their iced coffees are also very good. I ordered them before in the past and loved them! I would come back to hang with friends but not ordering the chicken again.

Ordered a Shish Tawook (Grilled Chicken on Skewers) sandwich to go with hummus. The food is delicious, if you enjoy Lebanese food, I'd recommend this place. They also have spicy fries that make me feel . I'll be back.

This place has amazingly tender and also not tough beef. Hummus is delicious and as an Asian I loved their not sticky rice. Hookah smells delicious but the food was more delicious. The vibe is cool. You see low couches and people (I assume) studying. Front of house folks are welcoming and helpful.

I LOVE this place!!! I always have to stop here at least once while I'm in town. The lamb is amaziiiing and the pistachio cake is my favorite. To the person complaining about a "razor" in the food they were able to take a bunch of photos of the food but none of the razor. Sounds like they just couldn't get a free/ discount meal.

A friend of mine suggested this place for good food, nice ambiance and good hookah as well. Already been here three times so you know how much I enjoy the place. The food is excellent, especially the Shish Tawouk and the Fattoush that comes as a side. I've tried the Falafel, Arayes and the Shawarma. Honestly, I've enjoyed it all. The hookah is great too. Service is good, but really slow at times. Highly recommend this place.

For a hookah spot, I was very impressed with the food. My kabob plate was so good. Hookah was great too. Lots of uncles come here so it's def not the spot you want to take a date to. It's super chill, kind of a sports bar vibe. Be prepared to have everyone stare at you when you walk inside.
