10 Spots in Miami For Relaxing Rum Cocktails | Eater

"This unassuming Coconut Grove deli and fine foods store is one of the best date spots in the city. Posting up at the bar allows you and your date to watch skilled chefs craft your food as you savor some smooth Caribbean rum and enjoy the show. First, order the Jungle Bird (BACARDÍ Ocho, Martini & Rossi Fiero, lime juice, pineapple juice, simple syrup), and wander the aisles of unusual imported meats, cheeses, and breads as you plan your next meal. Then sit down with your drink and pair it with the fresh-made linguini pasta: the seafood-and-white-wine sauce accentuates the citrusy kick of your cocktail." - Vox Creative

Walk by this place 1 million times in the morning and I’ve had coffee there in the morning, but I’ve never actually had their food I went there on a date and we ordered only cappuccinos and dessert. I was gonna get the cheesecake, but I was convinced to get this other dessert and it was highly worth It was an ice cream with almond crumbles and of course I had to ask for more almond crumbles, cause I like the crunchy in the soft and sweet The cappuccino was delicious and we sat right by the bar The only problem is that the bathrooms are outside of the business so you have to walk out to a community bathroom for the entire plaza which I did not like But overall, I would recommend visiting this place and the pastries and coffee are unbelievable. Can’t speak for the food but maybe one day I’ll go back for a bite.

An experience that perfectly captures the "Uruguayan-Italian diaspora" spirit. Narbona doesn't just sell lunch; they sell the romance of the estancia. The decor, the walls of wine bottles, and the visible chef stations are designed to transport the diner. We stopped in for the three-course $35 prix fixe lunch and were blown away by both the value and the execution. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated—friend groups catching up over brunch, large multi-generational families, and couples enjoying the afternoon. It has that genuine, bustling "eating in a marketplace" feel that gives it that special vibe. For food, the empanadas were amazing (we tried the beef short rib and the iconic onion/mozzarella—both incredible). My entree was the chicken with mushrooms in an cream sauce, which was flavorful and balanced. We split a side of fries that arrived exactly as they should: piping hot and crunchy. My partner (a sommelier) had a glass of Tannat (the signature Uruguayan red), which was excellent. We finished with the flan which came their famous house-made dulce de leche whipped cream—do not skip this. Service was impeccable. Our waiter, Jordi, was attentive and timed everything perfectly. The venue uses Toast and we loved paying with our mobile wallets. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, high-energy dining experience

I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and beautifully maintained. The food was exceptional — every dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and presented with great attention to detail. A special mention goes to our waiter, David, who truly elevated our visit. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care made the entire evening feel unforgettable. Overall, an incredible dining experience. I highly recommend this place and would gladly return.

Daniel was an amazing waiter! He gave us several great recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. His service was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our meal. We really appreciated his hospitality and positive attitude. Oh, and I can’t forget to recommend the dulce de leche pancake for dessert, honestly, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life!

Google
If you’re looking for a great restaurant in the heart of Coconut Grove, this is definitely the place to be. I highly recommend the Narbona— the pasta is homemade and absolutely delicious. The entraña was also outstanding, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For appetizers, the short rib empanadas were on point. The service was very good, although there was a bit of a wait. The only downside is that the A/C could be stronger, especially since they keep the door open, which makes it a bit humid inside.

Food was surprisingly quick and the temp on my meat was perfecttt. The hostess accommodated us even on such a busy day. Daniel, our sever made sure I got exactly what I wanted. He was quick, thoughtful, and polite.

We dined at Narbona in Coconut Grove with friends during a brief stay in Miami. Our experience was much less than the online average. On a Tuesday night, it wasn’t that busy, yet service lagged due to service of a very large group nearby. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco for the table, which was self-service after the initial pour. Entrees included the chicken parm, crab ravioli, and a couple of picanha gauchas. The pastas were generally slightly undercooked, a bit too al dente. The steaks were served as ordered, but not very tender. The steak knives did not help, a bit dull, made cutting the steaks a challenge. A couple of trufata narbonas for dessert ended the evening… balls of pistachios gelato, covered with crushed pistachios and covered with dulce de leche… a great finish! Narbona could improve, but still a good meal. Nice gelato and specialty food shop in the back! Recommend.

Our server David was phenomenal! The lasagna was exquisite and the burger my boyfriend had was oh so good. His attention to detail and service definitely stood out!

Yelp
Friendly staff with outstanding service and food! We are100% coming back it was that good! Prices are pretty good for the amount of food you receive and the quality it's all made in house from the pastes to the pizzas and more! They have a great selection of wines and champagnes from all price ranges. Made me feel like I was in little Italy hehe Ambiance felt romantic and the dimmed lights helped with that in the restaurant. Parking is easy to find because you can park in the main garage and it's right down stairs from the main Coconut Groove garage. Highly recommend to anyone!

Yelp
Stopped by here one afternoon for a late lunch and cocktails and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a restaurant, but also a store, but there is also a bar, and a gelateria, and a coffee bar, and believe or not IT ALL WORKS SEAMLESSLY. The food is fresh, the vibe is festive, and the service is really great. We ordered Aperol Spritz and they were perfect. Not too bitter, just the right amount of orange and a very healthy pour. A great way to start our dining experience. We had the Tuna Tartare and the Margherita Pizza to start. The tuna was cold, fresh, there was avocado mixed in and it was a pretty generous size. The pizza had the perfect combination of cheese and sauce, not too much of one or the other. The crust was firm with the right amount of chew. For our mains we had the Tagliatelle Ragout - YUM, and the Quinoa and Farro Salad with chicken. The Tagliatelle was like a bolognese with plenty of meat. The richness of the meat combined with the acid of the tomato sauce and the perfectly cooked fresh pasta was worth every last carb. My sister had the Quinoa and Farro salad - fresh, clean, and delectable. The salad comes with chickpeas, avocado, corn, cucumber, black beans, tomatoes, and peppers, and the dressing is so good you will ask for bread to mop up whatever is left. Finally we finished our meal with a pistachio gelato, and a figs and walnut gelato and they were both creamy and decadent, and they came with those yummy, old school, ice cream shop wafers. I will definitely be back to Narbona and I will probably carb up again and have another pasta dish. Who needs protein when you can have fresh pasta - deelish.

Yelp
Food was great. Nice selection. I wish they had a bit more fish. The seafood they have is very good. I started with the garlic shrimp which was excellent & the grilled tuna. Wife had some pumpkin ravioli. Service was excellent. Ambiance is a bit industrial and mess hall like, but it was fine. Nice specialty cocktails and different beers and wines. There's even a take out deli area with Italian specialty food, wine, cheese, etc. we would go back. The Narbona on Key Biscayne has more seafood. Both are excellent.

Yelp
I was really nervous to try this restaurant out. It is always busy and it is located at a popular destination in Coconut Grove and so I'm always hesitant spots that are not hidden gems. I came Lakewood night. It was one of the only restaurants that was open, but I was happy to die in. The Staff was really friendly and seated me right away. I did order a veal carpaccio was which was delicious. I also ordered the Bronzino, which I thought was a little bit on the dryer sign. I would come back. The only thing is is that it was pricey for the portions that I received.

Yelp
We stopped in for Sunday dinner today around 730pm after a 15 minute waitlist. Sad to report it was less than stellar. We didn't get bread service until we asked after receiving our appetizer, our waiter never took a drink order, they didn't provide olive oil or balsamic with the bread until we asked another server for it (every other table had it). Why did I ask another server? Well, ours was nowhere to be found for the night. He may have clocked a total of 35 seconds at our table for the night. The bolognese was bland and the pizza & calamari were something akin to "bar food". The gelato was great but that twas' only highlight. I intended to leave three stars but the lack of table prep and noticeably inattentive server was a pretty poor experience. The salt and pepper grinders were also missing but maybe others wouldn't mind such a thing. The food all looked excellent. I wish the flavors and service stood up to the same standard. Maybe it was an off night? As for ambiance, the place was crowded and a group of 4 kids were riding scooters in between tables. One of which was a full size electric scooter. I can only surmise they are either the owner's kids or something important because the staff didn't say a word to them. I only had to step over one scooter- so I guess that's a silver lining. That was our experience in a nutshell. P.S. the host girl was great and very attentive to us + the needs of the restaurant.

Yelp
The "best empanada" as the menu suggests is not quite the best imo. It was a bit dry and needed some flavor. I asked for chimichurri sauce and it took a bit to get it. The seating outside was lovely and breezy. The gelato is always a must. The Dubai chocolate and banana caramel were delish.

Yelp
This was our second time at Narbona. The first time we can with friends and had a fun experience. This time we had shrimp and crab ravioli, skirt steak and fries, and a few drinks. Everything was very good. I definitely recommend the skirt steak. Tends to be a lot of families (it is The Grove), but it's still a great time. We didn't have room for dessert, but there are some good options.

Yelp
Ambiance Narbona in Coconut Grove is a very classy restaurant. The place is nicely decorated. The waitresses are very well mannered and dressed elegantly. Service was excellent. Crowd Mostly Classy people dressed casual but classy. Food Excellent. I had "Chivito Uruguayo", Uruguayan goat. It was a huge Cataluñan bread, sandwich with mortadella cheese, ham, bacon, beef tenderloin, lettuce and tomatoes, and topped with eggs sunny side up. It included a serving of French fries. It was delicious. The only thing negative was that the music was too loud.

Yelp
I met up for a weekday dinner here with a friend who lives in the Grove. Narbona is located in the ground floor of Cocowalk, cattycorner to the location of the Italian spot I took plenty of dates to during my college years and early 20's. Besides a restaurant, there's also an Italian market and gelato shop. The restaurant space is open, subtly lit and perfect for a nice dinner date. Service was casual but relaxed. Acoustics could be a little better, especially if there's a large group at a nearby table. Foodwise, my bruschetta was airy and with just the right amount of crispiness to be enjoyed with the EVOO and rich Modena Balsamic Vinegar. My Tagliatelle Ragout, just past al dente, was a delicious ball of pasta filled in with a subtly smoky bolognese & melted cheese. The portion size was about as full as the flavor. I am taking a star off for my wine. There were only a few wines by the glass, and the pinot I had was a little flat. However, spiked with a dash of liqueur and a fluffy cocoa powder, the creamy tiramusu was a great closing dish and I'd certainly recommend.

Yelp
This place is magic. Does not look like much or even that big from the outside but it is a world inside. Divided into little open sections, you have a restaurant, coffee shop, bakery, pattiserie, charcuterie, fromagerie, Gelato store and market. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is delightful: originally from Uruguay they have a variety of local dishes along with French and Italian that I could spot. We had the short rib empanadas and meat emapanadas at the coffee bar, and also ordered a hazelnut latte. I just have to say, that was one of the best coffees I've had made... perfectly creamy, balanced sweet and rounded. The emapanda was delicious, very filling and we'll seasoned. I can't wait to go back and try the different areas, plus I hear their ice cream, which is homemade, is delicious.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast but upon seeing Narbona's pizza oven and dinner menu, I am hoping to come back! But for us, our group had a delightful breakfast. Servers kept our coffees and matcha lattes coming quickly. The açaí bowl was absolutely delicious, as were the yogurt/granola bowls. Narbona is definitely on my to-return list for a classic Italian dinner!

Yelp
My friend and I came in to try the Spice menu but unfortunately it was during that gap between 4 and 6 that the spice menu wasn't available. That's ok. We sampled some dishes from their main menu and they were spectacular. We tried the special of filet mińon and pappardelle pasta in a cream sauce that was not heavy or overpowering and a crab ravioli with shrimp on top in a pink sauce. Very noteworthy dishes. And how can I forget the amazing beet and mandarin with goat cheese topped with micro greens to start. Great flavor combinations, especially the dressing on the side. We tried the grilled octopus but that one dish I've had better. Service was spotty. We had to ask a few times to refill our waters and look for her to ask for a few things here and there instead of her coming to our table but nothing too bad. The only strange thing is there is no bathroom in the restaurant. You literally need to step outside of the restaurant and use the Coconut Grove public restrooms. Not a far walk but just random. They have a really cute market in the restaurant with packaged items to take home and desserts. All in all I'd like to return and try some other things off their menu. The food really was good!
google avatar

Yelp
It's a favorite place for us to bring out-of-town guests with picky appetites for a good meal. There's something for everyone on the menu! Service is always professional and timely. I love the market in the back, too. Their gelato is so tasty, their mixes and spread are divine, and their to-go pasta is fantastic and reasonably priced.
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
The special Chilean sea bass was good. The rice was fine. I wish I got the pasta because the pasta looked amazing.
google avatar

Nat V.

Yelp
This place is cute! Love the decor of a little Italian or local market. This review is for the delicious gelato only, plenty of options. Flavors are on point. Fast service and friendly staff. This is the place for a sweet treat!

Courtney T.

Yelp
My husband and I dined at Narbona this evening and two bites in noticed my chicken parm was undercooked/still slightly raw. This is dangerous and a safety issue for anyone, but especially myself as a pregnant woman. We alerted the waitress and the manager didn't even come out to say anything. Very disappointing experience.

Yelp
So we decided to take a little time and hangout in Coconut Grove today surrounded by all my girls! Help!!!! Actually, we had an awesome time and OREO was along for the ride today. After checking out Salty Straw for some ice cream, I really wanted to get some coffee so we decided to head over to Narbona which is an awesome Uruguayan restaurant here in the Grove. I can honestly say that the coffee was excellent as I decided to have a latte but man the Entraña steak the young woman next to me at the counter was having looked amazing. After a little conversation, I confirmed my suspicions as she said it was cooked to perfection and all the accouterments were amazing as well. Will definitely need to come back to check out the rest of the menu. I also have to say that all the staff were very nice and attentive as well. Sitting at the counter is always awesome if you want to chill and chat with others. Give it a try and you may make a friend! Wishing you all nice outing in Coconut Grove!

Yelp
Oh. My. Goodness. This is a gem of a place. Absolutely gorgeous Uruguayan gastronomy. They have everything: A shop with imported French and Italian goods, incredible bakery, winery, elegant restaurant, pizzeria, ice cream bar, even sushi! The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. We came here for the empanadas per suggested by a friend and the server encouraged us to try their short rib empanadas. I think I did and went to heaven. I also ordered a hazelnut latte- best coffee I've had in my life. I'll be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
This place has amazing food -- but the ice cream? Nothing beats this gelato. Definitely a hidden gem. The flavors, the texture, and the service will keep you coming back again and again.

Yelp
I love the setup, lighting, feel and atmosphere of any of the Narbona markets. They really know how to marry the concept of a market and an open kitchen restaurant. All the offerings are excellent...from baked goods to soups to salads, to their grocery items. Their jams and oils are top notch quality. Stop here or at any of the other locations when you get a chance, you will love it.....
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I love this spot. We randomly decided to eat there a few months ago as we were walking around the grove. It was definitely a great decision. It's a cool style, it's Argentine & Uruguayan. The food is amazing, and the bread is to die for! They have a nice wine list, and also a little market in the back! The service is decent, I've never been disappointed. It can be a little expensive but it's worth it in my opinion
google avatar

Nancy B.

Yelp
Excellent food excellent service. The only thing I miss is they eliminated the pasta with clams our favorite but the Bolognese is perfect as well as the Veal Milanese . The calamari is crispy and delicious. The wine is superb and the bread to the table is just just perfect thank you.
google avatar

Yelp
We stumbled upon this gem in Coconut Grove and were so pleased we returned the next day too! The ambiance is bright and inviting and the service is great also. We came for a quick breakfast before a meeting we had in town and this felt like dining at someone's home. The coffee drinks were fresh - I had a decaf cappuccino and my friend had a latte. We both ordered the croissant sandwich with eggs and bacon and avocado with a fresh salad on the side. What a delicious and healthy meal. Will absolutely return the next time I'm in the Grove.
google avatar

Yelp
It was a Sunday and Coconut grove was packed for brunch. My friends and I decided to give Narbona a try for brunch. We were quickly seated. The service here is always on point ! I ordered the croissant egg sandwich. Over all it was decent. It wasn't the best though. I think that this spot is more of a spot for pasta. It was a decent brunch. But I wouldn't come back here again for brunch. Only for the pasta or gelato. The coffee was a 6/10. The price was average prices. Overall a classy vibe in coco walk. Good for families . I want to come back for the pasta for dinner !
google avatar

Kimberly S.

Yelp
The food here was absolutely delicious--truly one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. We ordered the Bolognese, charcuterie board, mussels, and octopus, and everything was bursting with flavor. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding--attentive, warm, and knowledgeable. The interior is stunning, with a cozy yet upscale atmosphere that really elevates the dining experience. And don't skip the dessert bar--they have a great selection of gelato and treats that perfectly cap off the meal!

Yelp
Great great great great eating. I madly adore Narbona Key Biscayne - and I am just as happy at Narbona Coconut Grove. My sister - who is a demanding eater and is fussy about what she will pay for - has Narbona Coconut Grove has one of her regular reliable places. I do not disagree. I am generally a huge Uruguayan food fan ... and have yet to eat in a Uruguayan restaurant I don't like. (I have no doubt that Montevideo is filled with terrible places waiting to ambush me.) But even with my massive pro-Uruguay bias, Narbona is objectively a fine place. * * * We ordered off their Miami Spice menu. Non-Miami-People: This means an off-season specialty menu designed to bring in diners during the slow season. This is usually a prix fixe for a limited number of selections that will be cooked en masse. Generally the price is right, and they pick some of the most popular dishes on the menu. At Narbona, the price is right but they worked up a special set of unique dishes just for the occasion. So you can't have, what I had. Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah. * * * However, a) If you are in Miami, and b) If you are reading this before September 30 2024, THEN get to Narbona Coconut Grove as fast as you possibly can. These dishes disappear in October and you don't want to miss them. * * * Rest of the review for normal conditions. a) A hallmark of a good Argentine or Uruguayan restaurant is a good house vermouth. (Here called rural vermouth for no good reason). Narbona's house vermouth is absolutely first rate. It is much lighter and more citrusy than most other house vermouths I have had. That makes it perkier and more interesting. I personally am of the savory and mellow vermouth school. But I like Narbona's alternative. When it is 98 degrees out with a humidity of 150 percent, I like Narbona's alternative even better. b) My brother in law ordered a complex house salad off the regular menu. He is an even more demanding eater than my sister. He loved his salad. * * * How would I rate the regular menu? Well, the regular menu at Narbona Key Biscayne is delightful. And places that make food to die for on their special menus are usually not too shabby on the everyday stuff. The night we ate at Narbona Coconut Grove Everybody died and went to heaven. * * * So I think a five star rating here is pretty accurate.

Yelp
What a cute little gem hidden in coco walk!! It is a beautiful market and restaurant inside. I got an iced latte there from the barista, but then we sat outside! Service was kind and we got our food extremely quick. To eat: *margarita pizza- I loved it! Delicious and big pieces of mozzarella cheese! I am highly critical of sauce and there's was great! *tagliatelle ragout- great meat sauce! It was very tasty! *salmon- great choice! Wild caught. * egg croissant sandwich- my mom was in the mood for breakfast! She loved her sandwich! It has bacon and avocado and a yummy spicy mayo.

Yelp
It's like you walked into the most delicious of European bakeries, ready to sit and enjoy life for as long as you would like. It is a bit unexpected as you walk in from the humidity of Miami, and then are presented with such a delightful ambience. It may have become my favorite coffee bar in the city. Everybody was so nice. From the gentleman at the entrance who held the door open for our stroller and then found a spot where we could park it away from the bustle, to the Coffee bartender who was so sweet with our daughter and doted on us as if we were million dollar clients. We only got some sweets and coffee, so we cannot comment too much about the food. But everything looked wonderful. And we were just so happy to relax in this space. We highly recommend it for locals and tourist! This is a wonderful place to come and hang.
google avatar

Maria K.

Yelp
Came here only for the gelato in the back and it was FANTASTIC. Really rich and flavorful gelato. Great serving sizes. The back also has a little cheese store, fresh pasta, and other Italian goods. But the gelato is great.

Yelp
Me regalaron este dulce leche y no pude resistirme! Los croissants para el desayuno me salvan mi mañana en la oficina!

Yelp
I was enchanted. I was there on a busy Saturday night . The food was great. And its location is very popular. Every restaurant should be so blessed. A place for everyone ...even the tourists and the locals to enjoy.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute spot in the grove! Loved everything about the vibe and there is a super cute market inside as well. Perfect for all your charcuterie needs or even if you just need a sweet treat. Our server was very nice and gave great recommendations. We enjoyed the French Toast and the Dos Lechugas salad and both were delicious. Good sized portions and everything was super fresh.
google avatar

Alexandria K.

Yelp
Service was great and they were quick to seat us! We had ordered drinks before ordering - note that the juices will come in glasses and not shots! Matcha latte was okay. The bao buns for the benedict were dry and textured as if it were sitting out for a while. the vuelve la vida was so good, I almost ditched my own meal for my husbands.
google avatar

Karina O.

Yelp
Service was good, ambience was nice and food tasted great. Three of us ordered the same pasta as it was my first time coming and both suggested this one!
google avatar

Jose S.

Yelp
They don't care much about the customer. They have a great ambience, decorations, very homey and classy style but they only care about the money. Its hard to explain. My experience is for a dine in and an order place online. And the online order of almost $300 was declined by the website but transacted by restaurant. And after 12 phone calls with no answer and finally getting through to someone, they said they'll check into this, they call me back in 10 minutes. After 50 minutes I called them and they said the transaction didn't go through. Then I wanted to place the order over the phone and the guy on the phone sounded more annoyed than me so I took my money someplace else. Food looks great, but not a wow on my taste. Sorry Narbona, focus on your customer a lot more and do have someone more attentive to the phone line and improve your website.
google avatar

Rose C.

Yelp
Best gelato in town. Love to stop in for a coffee or gelato and do some specialty ingredient shopping. Everyone always very welcoming. Nice place to check out if in the Grove.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
This having been the only restaurant we have not tried in Coconut Grove we were looking forward to the night. I will start by saying you should definitely make a reservation if your going during the weekend. Which we did especially since we were a party of 6. They bring out a basket of delicious warm bread. But, don't fill up because the main courses are the stars. The main dishes that were ordered were the mushroom risotto thick, and creamy. If you like mushrooms definitely give it a try. Two of us ordered the Shrimp & Crab Ravioli, one with the pink sauce which saw light and delicious, the other with was butter and garlic, which was good but for my taste could have used more garlic. Next was the Tagliatelle Ragout which is a delicious hearty meal. If you are looking for something lighter try the Quinoa & Farro, full of flavor and just as filling. We one one dish the Spinach Ravioli that unfortunately came out cold not once, but twice. Would definitely advise to make a reservation.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and I must say it was decent .... Prices were somewhat normal and we enjoyed our breakfast here .... Had a mixed drink that as very very good and wine selection is decent and prices aren't crazy .. 20% tip added to any size party (this seems to be normal now in Miami) service was decent but not great ... Place is large ... would come back again if in the area !

Yelp
Narbona is located in CocoWalk and offers an exquisite culinary journey that tantalizes the senses and leaves a lasting impression. From the moment you step foot into this charming establishment, you're greeted with an ambiance that vibrates with energy and warmth. Let's dive into the menu, where the stars of the show are undoubtedly the meats. Narbona takes pride in sourcing the finest cuts, expertly prepared to perfection. Yelp
I recently dined at Narbona in Coconut Grove, Miami, with a party of five. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations, particularly due to poor service. The food arrived quickly, which was appreciated, but the service throughout the meal was rushed and uncomfortable. The staff was overly eager to clear our plates, often attempting to remove them before we had finished eating. At one point, my friend had to ask them kindly to please wait until we signaled that we were done. This constant interruption detracted from our experience, as we felt pressured to eat quickly. We were there for less than an hour and a half. The waiter had difficulty understanding us, possibly due to language barriers, but his attitude came across as unwelcoming and sarcastic at times. When working in hospitality, customer service should be a top priority (I work in hospitality, so I understand firsthand) and this was not the case here. One waitress even took away our appetizer plates without asking, and when we said we weren't done, she sternly insisted that we were. Shortly after, our dinner plates were brought out. This rushed approach continued throughout the meal, with the staff trying to clear plates without asking for permission, which felt invasive. Bless the redhead lady serving water, she was kind and polite. We ordered the following dishes: Ragu Oysters Artichokes (Fried Fiori di Zucca stuffed with mozzarella cheese and anchovies) Papardelle Tagliatelle Ragout Shrimp & Crab Ravioli Asado Toto (short rib) Grilled Salmon While the papardelle was flavorful and the tagliatelle ragout had simple, good flavors, some dishes missed the mark. The fried Fiori di Zucca was mostly cheese with little to no anchovy flavor, and the short rib or asado toto was good, but the aligot was cold and too heavy for our taste (though others may enjoy it). The grilled salmon was okay, but nothing memorable. Overseasoned. I was seated near the kitchen walkway, and I was bumped into multiple times by waiters rushing through. While I am usually understanding, the combination of poor service and the rushed feel of the restaurant made the experience less enjoyable. Though the food wasn't terrible, it was not memorable either. The overall experience, particularly the service, left much to be desired.

Yelp
Who knew this was tucked away in coconut grove! super cute Market style Restaurant. You've got regular table seating, seats at the bar and the desert counter, plus they have the pizza/pastry area where you watch them make some magic. service was great, food was even better. The empanadas were perfect! stuffed with meat and the pastry both fluffy and crispy. We had the burger with fries (meat cooked well and fries super crispy), and the spinach ravioli that was also cooked to perfection. pricing was a bit high as it cost us over 100 for 1 app, 2 glasses of wine and a 2 entrees. BUT, it was still very good. I would definitely come again!

Yelp
This is an all in one experience - you can sit down and eat, grab a drink at the bar, shop at their deli or market, or pick up some ice cream. It's a little bit of everything and definitely a great addition to the Grove. The vibe is very casual yet trendy and the decor is very beautiful. We stopped in for brunch and had a good experience. Our server was attentive. Our drink order did take a while longer than it should have. We enjoyed the bread basket - I had never thought of slathering dulce de leche on some toast, but darn it, it was delicious! The breakfast crossaint was pretty standard - nothing out of this world. I do believe that the menu is a bit pricey for what you are getting, then again, I do think prices are in line with other restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend the experience and I would return to try out dinner.

Yelp
Party of 4 without a reservation on. Friday night- host was very nice and sat us immediately. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant, which is next to the hustle and bustle of the kitchen and it was a bit warmer than the other parts of the restaurant. Our servers were very attentive. The appetizers we had were a cesar salad, fried calamari and a provoleta. Everything was tasty. We also had the Garden pizza and the Narbona pizza. Both were tasty, crust was crispy. For desert, we had the Rogel cake which was very good, but super sweet- definitely shareable.

Yelp
I stopped by Narbona for a quick coffee and snack! There were so many good pastry options but I settled for the chocolate croissant and it did not disappoint! The coffee was also great. I will definitely be back to check out their lunch/ dinner options!

Yelp
My friends have been dying to go to Narbona, saying it reminded them so much of Italy. Imagine their surprise that Narbona is actually Uruguayan. But it is a pretty cool spot. All the decor coordinated with the beautiful black and white floor tiles. Charming market areas with baked goods, gelato, meats, cheeses, olive oil, you name it. I tried the organic chicken. It was a huge half chicken with a house salad and fries. Very tasty. And the bread was fantastic. And the wine. I had planned to get something yummy, but since I was standing there holding a doggie bag of uneaten food already, I just couldn't order more food. Next time...
