Nardò West Hollywood Review - Beverly Grove - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you follow national pizza awards, you’ll be intrigued to hear that Nardò’s Neapolitan pies have won a few. They also get an imaginary gold star from us, too, with their sturdy bottoms, just-wet center, and crusts as soft as fine cashmere. Save for a solid grilled ribeye however, the rest of the menu at this white-marble Italian spot originally from Huntington Beach is fairly forgettable, like gnocchi ortolana overloaded with pesto and a salt-deprived seafood linguine. The good news is that pizza is still worth planning around. Sit on the breezy patio, sip an Aperol spritz, and stick with the simple pies. Follow this equation and Nardò works as a solid option on restaurant-packed West 3rd Street. photo credit: Nardò West Hollywood Food Rundown Eggplant Parmigiana Bites This stack of mini eggplant parms has a subtly spicy tomato sauce at the bottom, which is the most interesting thing about it. Skip unless you desperately need a snack before the pizzas arrive. Artichokes Salad If you require something raw and green with your meal, this haystack of arugula is a serviceable pick. The best part is the mix of artichokes and hearts of palm hidden inside. photo credit: Nardò West Hollywood Margherita A standard, well-executed margherita. The puffy crust is so tender you can twist it like a handkerchief, and won’t fall apart. The pomodoro is tart, the mozzarella is evenly distributed, and there’s a salty kiss from the parmesan sprinkled on top. Pistachio The menu lists pistachio pesto on this white pie, but you could have fooled us. The mouthfuls of smoked mozzarella and thick-sliced mortadella that dominate are delicious, though. Prepare to fold each slice and eat it like a sandwich. photo credit: Nardò West Hollywood Linguine Tartine We appreciate the al dente housemade squid linguine in this pasta dish, but the sauce tastes like someone spilled clam juice in bland pomodoro. Rib Eye Steak The best non-pizza thing at Nardo is this steak, cooked a spot-on medium-rare. The thin-cut fries are hot and crispy, and the chimichurri on the side packs a garlicky punch. Tiramisù It must be karma for the times we’ve complained about soggy tiramisù because the ladyfingers in this one are dry as a bone." - Sylvio Martins

Beautiful boutique-style restaurant with warm, thoughtful service. The Wild Boar Fettuccine, Guazzetto Di Vongole, calamari and wood fired La Cacio E Pepe pizza were exceptional. Also loved the gin Nardò cocktail. Perfect for a couples date night.

Definitely one of the best pizzas in LA. Very welcoming and warm atmosphere inside, fresh space design. We ordered broccolini as a starter - crispy, juicy, flavorful, so just perfect! Then we tried 2 pizzas: Diavola and Calzone. Diavola was amazing, Calzone was almost perfect, but it would be 200% better with less ricotta in it. Oh, and 2 Aperol Spritzes! They were just fine by the way, I would change the sparkling wine in it. So +1 great food place in the neighborhood, thanks!

We went here for brunch and it was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I got bottomless mimosas, cacio w/ bacon, steak and eggs, and we started with the grilled octopus. Genuinely best grilled octopus in LA. the atmosphere was really fun too. I can’t wait to come back!

We had a blast dinning at this authentic italian restaurant! We were in awe of the lighting fixture, the sophisticated furnitures, the lively flooring that just pulls you in. The staff were amazing and we were very well taken care of throughout our dinning experience. Bella was our waitress and she made us feel so welcome and made sure we were happy with our meals! I had the polpo as a starter, bistecca as entree, and tartuto with cappuccino to conclude our meal. I don't usually drink coffee after 3, but I couldn't resist. Everything was beautifully crafted in the kitchen, and transported my palate to Italy! Polpo was nicely seasoned and charred. Steak was mouth watering! The pizza dough is simply the best l've ever had, for the perfect texture, backed by award winning recipe! And I can't wait to return to Nardò!

A new hidden gem in the city. I was taking a stroll in search of a place to eat and I stumble across this new hidden gem. I'm not a fan of Italian food but I wanted to give this a try. Beautifully decorated on the inside with a cute patio outside as well. Not many options for me to eat considering I hate cheese, but I opted for the Margarita Pizza, mozzarella being the only cheese I'll eat. I was not disappointed. Friendly stuff and very fast service. I highly recommend.

Buonissimo! Everything was delicious and authentic, the pizza was perfect!! The desserts were amazing too, especially the truffle pistacchio. Staff and service was also great!

Google
Everything was so great. It was definitely a solid meal. The pizza was fresh, and the pasta was delicious. I would come back to try more. There are a lot of great Italian food places in the area and this one is a great casual spot to take the family.

Google
The pizza was pretty good. The panna cotta tasted moldy, rotten, so much so that I had to spit it out and I'm not even talking about the more than neglected presentation.

Yelp
Nardo is a cute spot for date night. The interior of the restaurant is chic and trendy with a touch of European glam. Dined in on a Saturday evening around 7:30pm and the restaurant was not too busy. What we ordered: -Prosciutto and Burrata appetizer. I was not impressed with the presentation of this. Was literally just a blob of burrata atop of some arugula with a side of prosciutto. The dish felt unimaginative and could have used some more creativity. -The Nardo Pizza. This was fantastic and by far one of the best pizzas I've had in LA. The crust was light, airy, and stuffed with fluffy ricotta. It is as close to a neopolitan pizza that you will get outside of Italy! -The Lasagna and the Truffle Ravioli were good but not rustic. I wish we had room to try more items on the menu. Overall, the food was about a 3.5 out of 5. The real star of the show is their pizza. Would highly recommend coming just for that. There is valet out front or you can find some metered street parking on the surrounding streets.

Yelp
TL:DR - Decadent food in a beautiful restaurant, in a crazy neighborhood. My wife too me here as a surprise for my birthday and it was one of the best dinners I have ever had. Nardo is hard to spot from the street because the entrance of the restaurant is a little narrow. But when you walk into it, the space opens up into a chic looking restaurant with tiled floors and hanging chandeliers. We eat early and arrived at 5pm to a restaurant that was sparsely filled, I love it. The wait staff was incredibly nice and brought water for our dog and answered all of our questions regarding the menu. We wanted to ball out tonight and went with 4 dishes. Starting off with: Potato croquette - Crispy on the outside and hot piping softness on the inside. It's the texture that you order croquettes for and it hit the spot. It came with a dipping sauce that tasted like melted butter. This was the cherry on top and it elevated the dish beyond comprehension. Gnocchi Gorgonzola - This dish came out right after and was soft and chewy. The gorgonzola gave it that funky flavor paired with pine nuts. If you like gorgonzola this is the dish for you, but if you can't handle that flavor, then you might want to skip it. The gnocchi itself practically melted in the mouth and was amazing. We ordered 2 pizzas and each was about a foot in diameter (at least) and were fresh out of the oven. They had that crispy lightness that only stone oven pizzas can get. Nardo Pizza - The special feature about this pizza is the crust is filled with riccotta cheese. OMG it just slaps so hard. The cheesiness levels are off the charts and unlike say fast food pizza which sits in your stomach, the cheesiness is all flavor. Light and tasty, without that heaviness. I really loved the Nardo and would recommend getting it. Cacc E Pepe - Was a more classic cheese pizza with pepper. Despite having a minimal amount of toppings this was also delicious. The mozzarella was melted and smokey and the pepper brought out the brightness of the cheese. Super good too and just so tasty. We were pretty stuffed by the time we finished the pizzas, and opted out of getting dessert. Overall, the food was really delicious and we left satisfied. I would love to come back more often, but getting to West Hollywood is just crazy.

Yelp
saw great reviews online so was super excited to check it out! when i arrived to collect my pickup order, the staff was extremely welcoming and attentive. while waiting, i started to regret not being able to sit in for dinner because the ambiance was so nice. unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. after just a 10 minute ride home, both pizzas (margherita and diabola) were SO soggy! the meatballs were criminally underseasoned. :(

Yelp
I want to start off by saying the service was very sporadic, sometimes three different people came to check in on us (asking the same things), other times no one was around for long periods of time when we wanted to order something. The ambiance was very nice, and the food wasn't bad either, but this is not as amazing as I thought it would be and it was about $100 per person. Here's everything I tried: 4/5 - Artichoke Salad: wild arugula, artichokes. Hearts of palm, parmesan cheese, in a lemon dressing. Very light yet flavorful, definitely the best salad on the menu. 4/5 - Ravioli: homemade spinach ravioli, filled with wild mushrooms and ricotta, with a fondue truffle sauce. The sauce was amazing, we really enjoyed the pasta overall. I personally added some chili flakes to add some more flavor, it also finishes quickly though. 3.5/5 - Cacio E Pepe pizza: mozzarella, black pepper, and pecorino cheese with a lightly oiled base as the sauce. I loved the crust and the freshness of the dough, however, the flavor profile of the pizza was a little disappointing. 3/5 - Potato Croquettes: potato croquette, gruyere cheese, parmesan cheese, leeks, served with truffle fontina fondue. Not bad, but nothing that special either, I wish we had tried the eggplant appetizer instead. 3/5 - Various cocktails: our favorite was the "Margarita Piccante", none were that memorable though. Food: 3.75/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 2.5/5 Overall: 3.33/5

Yelp
Love this beautiful spot on walkable 3rd Street. The interior is strikingly handsome making you just want to hang out there even if just for cocktails. The pizzas and pastas are spectacular. Our favorites were the wild boar pasta, lasagna, and salsiccia pizza! Yum. Yum. Yum. The folks waiting tables are so so so nice! Such a great experience. We'll be back!

Yelp
I tried Nardo for the first time for a special event, that was located in the upstairs patio. The blue and white decor with awning and mural is a very cozy and fresh vibe. The decor throughout is very good, including the awesome bathroom wallpaper.Service is very good, which very charming staff. Logistically there were some issues and errors with orders, but it is somewhat expected dealing with a large group. I really enjoyed the champagne cocktail (the name had porn star in it), California pizza cooked in woodfire oven and refreshing salad with watermelon. I ordered a seafood pasta entree and have to say I was a bit disappointed. The dish could definitely be seasoned better. The large pieces of tomatoes filled the plate. The seafood was chopped up so I couldn't tell what most things were. The ratio to the pasta was off - in other words very little seafood. Some items listed on the menu (like scallops) were not even included on the plate. Besides that dish, I recommend other things on the menu.

Yelp
The food was okay, but the service was terrible. I went for my friend's birthday, and although the restaurant was supposed to be nice, the experience was disappointing. My friend accidentally knocked over her drink, and one of the servers kindly offered to replace it, which was thoughtful. However, after that, our waitress basically stopped coming to our table. Despite multiple attempts to get her attention, she either didn't hear me or ignored us. When she finally came by, she said the drink was on its way, but after a long wait, we still didn't have it. At one point, I went up to her to ask about the drink and the possibility of a birthday treat for my friend. She said they could only bring a treat if we ordered dessert, which I found strange for a restaurant like this. I've never gone to a nice restaurant where that was a policy. But if it is policy, then it is policy. However, to make things worse, she acted like she had no idea about the drink and was very dismissive. It was a bit gaslighty in my opinion. We finally got the drink, but by then, we just wanted to leave. On top of that, the restaurant was gloomy, with flickering lights, and the overall vibe wasn't great.

Yelp
Made a reservation for girl dinner on a Friday. I've been wanting to try Nardò since I've been seeing so much content about it on Instagram, and everyone who has tried it has told me nothing but good things. It was pretty crowded when we arrived so thankfully we had made a reservation. We started with a bottle of white wine to split between the four of us, and ended up ordering the Caesar salad with shrimp as an appetizer. Since it's all the hype right now, I've been trying so many different Caesar salads from different places. I will say that one of my favorites has been the one from Oste. This one was a close second. The dressing is what makes the salad, and the shrimp was cooked very well. For our mains, we ordered two pizzas to split - one red and one white. For the red sauce pizza, we went with the Bufalina - San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Imported Buffalo Mozzarella, Basil, Parmesan, E.V.O.O. and added burrata (of course). The sauce was flavorful with a kick of extra flavor from the variety of cheeses. The basil, though scarce, added a hint of freshness to the overall flavor profile. I loved the crust. It's airy and crispy on the outside but doughy on the inside. The white sauce pizza we went with was the Malibu - Mozzarella, Basil, Yellow Tomatoes, Almonds, Crispy Prosciutto, Honey. The tanginess of the tomatoes paired well with the crispy, salty prosciutto, and the honey drizzle really brought the flavors all together. Almonds gave it a fun texture and added a bit of nuttiness to the bite. No complaints on this one either. I think this one I actually liked better than the Bufalina. I had a great experience at dinner here! The interior is cute and elevated. Service was good. And the food was delicious. I want to come back and try the other pizzas, but I might also just have to get the Malibu again!

Yelp
Let me just say that I am not and have never been an Italian food fan. That is until Nardò West Hollywood walked into my life. Every Italian food experience prior to Nardò left me feeling like I could have made the dish at home. But Nardò silenced all the noise and dispelled my thoughts of this particular cuisine. Every single dish was made as if the kitchen Gods kissed it before it being placed on my table. From start to finish my meal was phenomenal. I've NEVER had pizza so good in my life. I mean a fried pizza, who does that! WOW!!! The atmosphere was carved out from a piece of Italy itself. Every piece of decoration was strategically planned for an emphatic experience. This will be the only Italian restaurant that I will be visiting!!

Yelp
One word, PASSION. That's how I would describe Nardò Italian restaurant. Every single person at this location made me smile in their own way. Alex- the manager/bartender, he's such a gem. So sweet and welcoming. Very attentive as well. I love that he doesn't mind helping out his servers as well. We had Stasha as our server and she was very knowledgeable about the menu, and honest. Which I appreciated. I also love her personality! So if you dine here, request her. You won't regret it! The food: we had the steak, lamb and the two pizzas. All 10/10. The lamb was perfectly cooked. The steak was juicy AF (lol), and the pizza were delicious. My fiancé said it was the best pizza he ever had. The ambiance was very calming. Perfect location to watch the car drive by and enjoy a nice meal.

Yelp
The staff here are the best! So attentive, so kind, and just made the experience so much sweeter because of their fine personalities and service. The food is just incredible. Serious comfort food, very cheesy, be prepared to walk away feeling like a rock hit your stomach (and i mean this in a good way!) We ordered the Gnocchi Gorgonzola, Potato Croquettes, Cacio E Pepe pizza, and the Nardo Pizza (which had cheese filled crusts). Everything was so tasty, and so fresh. My favorite however, HAS to be the Gnocchi Gorgonzola. The sage leaves + walnuts was the cherry on top, never thought having a bit of a crunch in gnocchi would make such a difference! The potato croquettes were extremely decadent, and came with a literal shot of butter to dip your croquettes in LOL. Inside was the perfect consistency of mashed potato-like filling. The restaurant has a very indoor-outdoor feel. There is a small outdoor patio for the COVID conscious, or for those wanting to bring their pups. Love it when restaurants bring out little water bowls for your dogs too! If you want excellent Italian food with a little bit of fanciness, this place is the best place to go without breaking your wallet.

Yelp
What a gorgeous restaurant with wonderful service! They have an excellent happy hour, surprisingly also not too busy. Plenty of indoor as well as outdoor seating, the ambience is great. Food was made to order quickly, the pizza was delicious but we also enjoyed the pasta and appetizers Tremendously. Great value, especially for happy hour, date night or special occasion.

Yelp
Love the ambience, love the service, love the drinks, love everything about this place. First off shot out to Anastasia our server for making my friends 40th bday a memorable one. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everything was fantastic!!!!!! I ordered this hibiscus mocktail it was absolutely beautiful and very insta worthy, my friend got a alcoholic drink the porn star which she loved. We also got these jello shots in the beginning and boy oh boy I was feeling a little tipsy and I don't even drink but that shot gave me a good buzz. For starters we got the beet salad, delicious and full of flavor, we also ordered the margerita pizza and the cacio pizza. For dessert we ordered coffee and a cake. Everything we ordered was fantastic and the presentation was beautiful. Our server constantly checked in on us as well as the manager came by as well. As far as the ambience they have seating indoors and outdoors, they also have a small private room upstairs which is so beautiful, I can totally see a nice baby shower or bridal shower up there it's really nice. There is parking on the street I believe they have valet parking as well. All in all a great experience I would definitely recommend and would come back.
google avatar

Alisa K.

Yelp
Overall, this is a great place for dinner. We ordered several things off the menu. The mushroom truffle ravioli was delicious. The jalapeno pizza was decent - the dough was great but it was very floppy and the toppings had not really cooked well. I would suggest skipping the calzone - it was heavy on the dough and the toppings were underwhelming and tasteless. The gnocchi was good but very heavy on the pesto. The desserts and drinks were all fantastic. The place is beautiful but definitely more relaxed. You can dress up or down! The pizza oven is simply amazing.
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
Our server was incredible! Super helpful, attentive and charming/funny! The food was overall solid; the wild boar pasta was good and the pizza was great except for the toppings kept sliding off which I think is more of a me problem. The drinks were incredible- I cannot recommend the porn star cocktail enough; it tasted like juice and I could drink it all day- BEWARE it gets you super tipsy (it's essentially a Long Island). The decor on the walls is really beautiful and the pizza oven and bar are also very visually appealing.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for Neapolitan pizzas so when I saw Nardò's pizzas I had to give them a try. Parking in this area is a bit tricky. They do have valet parking or street parking may be available if you're willing to circle around a few times. As far as the food, we tried only 3 things this time. The quinoa salad was pretty blend and boring. The fried shrimp and calamari was decent but I wish they also came with a marinara sauce for dip. We order the Luna Nossa which was half margarita and half calzone bc it sounded interesting. I read a few reviews complaining about how wet the pizzas are. But this is Neapolitan style pizza not your NY style or basic American style pizza. The dough is much higher in hydration which yields that soft puffy crust on the edge; but tends have a soft and wet center from the San Marzano tomato sauce. It's also baked at much higher temperature for a short time which results in the charred bubbles. I must say I very much enjoyed the pizza here. I'll probably be back to try some other options.

Yelp
Great new place on 3rd in the Beverly Grove neighborhood just down the sidewalk from Crescent Heights and the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts. We lost a couple of favorite restaurants this past couple of months so it was a welcome sight to see a new one pop up. We had the watermelon salad to split which is the perfect amount. Delicious! Then I had the Diavola pizza and my friend had the gnocchi in pesto and mushrooms. We probably had more of the pizza but the gnocchi was still really good. Can't wait to try their bar. We were there for lunch so we didn't have any cocktails. But my friend was excited to see barolo by the glass for a fairly lower price than usual. The restaurant is incredibly designed. We couldn't stop pointing out all the different wallpapers and shades of color. Really nice job! The staff was very attentive and Emma our server was great!
google avatar

Kathy X.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant with this gorgeous pizza oven in the back. Service is fantastic, our server was super attentive and very friendly, and the rest of the staff is wonderful as well. Food was great too! The pizza was the highlight of our meal and the ricotta stuffed crust was my favorite. Our server said the pizza here was ranked 26th in the nation and I can definitely see why. Parking is nearly impossible to find here, but they do have valet for $12 after validation.

Yelp
I was really disappointed with my experience. I made a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday through OpenTable, which was confirmed the day before, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. I sympathize with the impact of the LA fires, but the restaurant isn't near the fires and operates indoors. At the very least, they could have canceled the reservation or notified OpenTable. A lack of communication made a special day frustrating.
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
This place is so not it. Girlfriend and I stopped by Friday night for dinner. I made reservations through OpenTable which were not needed at all because the restaurant never got even half full. And they also didn't even check me into the system because I then received an email saying I missed my reservation. I had to submit my receipt to prove I was there. Staff was all over the place. Nobody checked in with us for about 20 minutes after seating. Finally one waitress brought us water. Then another waiter took our orders. A third waiter came by asking if our orders were taken. Then a busboy would come by and change our water when needed. We sat near the open window and had the water bottle on that side of the table, but when the waitress would come by, she'd reach over the table and between us to get the water, fill our glasses, and then slam the bottle on the inside edge instead. We ordered the potato croquettes to start. Yet a fourth waiter brought us a bowl of brussels sprouts and said it was the croquettes . . . my girlfriend and I looked at each other so confused like we didn't know if we should eat it or not. We waited until the waitress realized what happened and took the plate away. When the croquettes came, they were TINY. Like smaller than a meatball. And there was no flavor to them. The menu reads them having gruyere cheese, all you taste is pasty potato. And the side of "fontina fondu" I swear I thought it was ranch. That was nowhere near "fontina" or "fondue". For the main course I ordered the pistachio pizza. This thing was so soggy I couldn't even lift it from the pizza tray to my plate. And it was cut so unevenly. There were four giant, oddly shaped slices and then a fifth tiny slice that didn't even reach the center. The dough was chewy and undercooked. Her salmon was as basic as it gets. The whole time we sat we saw maybe 2 parties arrive. And the host really had the audacity to tell us we were limited to 90 minutes. HA. For who?
google avatar

Michelle R.

Yelp
Been there three times already. Get their Pizza!!! The half moon Calzone/Margherita, or a classic Margherita, can't go wrong with any of those. The Malibu is also another fantastic pizza they offer. The dough is very reminiscent to a true authentic neapolitan style pizza, with blisters around the crust...magnifico! Their boar pasta was ok, don't know if I would try it again. Their linguini with some seafood in there (not a frutti de mare) was quite delicious. Had a Nonna's tarte I think it is called, and it was yummy and not very sweet. Ambiance is very modern elegant. The bar area, the couch bench seating with their comfy cloths, the wall paper, lighting, open door windows all create a wonderful atmosphere. The staff has always been attentive and knowledgeable of their food and bar menus. Can't think of one thing bad I can comment on... that is a really good thing.

Yelp
Service was super friendly, ambiance was nice with candles and a DJ. The pizza was fantastic, very good! The pastas are a definite pass as are the appetizers. Just go for the pizza. Skip the rest.

Yelp
The food was insane! Everything was delicious, the desserts were incredible and the service was nice. I definitely recommend BOTH the pistachio dessert and the chocolate cake. They're small portions and If you're sharing and leaving room, both are a must try. All the pasta are handmade and incredibly yummy. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
10/10 experience. The food was delicious. I got the lasagna and it did not disappoint. Came in a skillet cooked to perfection. The drinks were to die for. We all loved our cocktails. Each of them unique and flavorful. The blue cocktail tastes like an orange creamsicle. Our waitress was phenomenal. Had lots of recos and great personality. Whole restaurant was a vibe aesthetically. It was lively inside. Great music and lots of people. Would definitely recommend making a reservation! They also have a cute bar area. Bathrooms were a vibe too.
google avatar

Trish C.

Yelp
I was disappointed with my experience. We had reservations through OpenTable and even received a confirmation email the day before. The restaurant was closed due to the LA Fires. There was nothing on their website, social media pages or Yelp that they were temporarily closed. Poor lack of communication and very frustrating last minute.

Yelp
The best meal I've had this year so far. Shockingly good pizza, umami pastas, and creative desserts set in a truly teleportative mid century modern hip Italian restaurant. No wonder this pizza won awards As evidenced by my abstract art from the mixed berry cake, my mind was blown away I ordered things I wasn't sure I would like, but was wowed
google avatar

Ellie R.

Yelp
I came because of the reviews... but I wasn't impressed sadly. The pesto pizza was good but it was dripping of oil. And didn't have as much flavor and felt like I ate more pizza doe than a curly pizza toppings. Also order the margarita pizza and did enjoy that more. The sauce was sweet and had more flavor. The service was quick , the staff was great and polite. The service was good too.
google avatar

Peter T.

Yelp
So this place had potential but sadly I found the food a little lacking. The lemon chicken as kind of bland, well cooked but not great. Maybe lacked seasoning or something. The pizza looked amazing but once again kind of lacked flavour, the ingredients let it down. It should have been bursting with flavour but instead was flat. It had salami and sausage etc on there and it could have been great.
google avatar

Avivi W.

Yelp
This place was wonderful! The service was so good and the food was delicious!! We walked in on a Friday and were able to get seats right away. The award-winning pizza here is the best pizza I've had in LA! And the pastas were also super delicious! It's very spacious inside and the vibes are very nice!! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cute vibes but okay food and small portions. Oven pizza was nice. Pulpo was small, and pasta was okay

Yelp
We went to Nardó for my bday and had a last minute issue with our dog sitter so my hubs called the restaurant to ask if we could take our pup and they accommodated us on the patio outside and it was so nice. We had pizza Margherita as an appetizer and it was very authentic Neapolitan style pizza, probably one of the best I've tried lately. We also had the a pasta bolognese and the steak. Everything was fabulous and delish. Only thing I can say is that the steak might have had a bit too much salt on top, but it was cooked to perfection. Lovely evening and lovely staff.

Yelp
Food is as good as it looks! We had the tagliatelle bolognese and margharita pizza with prosciutto. Both were so delicious. Service was EXCELLENT. Our host was super niceand communicative tonight and our servers were very attentive. Food came out super fast. We loved the ambience as well. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We just got out of an art show and was looking for a posh Italian spot for a late dinner. Came across Nardo, took a chance, and had such a pleasant experience! The food, the drinks, the service, the vibe, all ++1. We got linguine Tarantino and Fettuccine wild boar. so yummy. The seafood in my linguine Tarantino was very fresh. I love how plump, fresh, and juicy the clams were. Also big shout out to the house maid squid ink linguine and fettuccine, very delicious with good texture. Ended the meal with chocolate temptation that has the perfect level of sweetness it made me shed a tear of joy. After we were done, our server gave us a little tour where we get to see a loft and the outdoor area. Overall design is elegant and playful which I enjoy and could see me hosting a girl's dinner here in the future. Anyway, this is a good find. Would come again.

Yelp
This was such a fun experience eating here. We liked everything we tried. Our server, although new, was attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful inside. The crown moldings and lighting and decor were all beautiful and so intriguing. Only let down was my tiramisu (but I'm a tiramisu snob) so I won't hold it against them. We ordered bottled Italian soda and they were delicious. The pizza crust was chewy and just out of this world. I even finished my crust, which I never do because it's not usually worth the carbs. Would definitely recommend this place and if we are ever in LA again we would go back.

Yelp
My new LOVE! Great food, FABU atmosphere (love sitting at the bar). Everyone is SOOOO nice. The pasta was the best I've ever had but the pizzas were kind of soggy, still tasty. Peter the bartender was wonderful. Very engaging, fast, knows his drinks, keeps the bar clean and he remembered our names :).

Yelp
We had a blast dinning at this authentic italian restaurant! We were in awe of the lighting fixture, the sophisticated furnitures, the lively flooring that just pulls you in. The staff were amazing and we were very well taken care of throughout our dinning experience. Bella was our waitress and she made us feel so welcome and made sure we were happy with our meals! I had the polpo as a starter, bistecca as entree, and tartufo with cappuccino to conclude our meal. I don't usually drink coffee after 3, but I couldn't resist. Everything was beautifully crafted in the kitchen, and transported my palate to Italy! Polpo was nicely seasoned and charred. Steak was mouth watering! The pizza dough is simply the best I've ever had, for the perfect texture, backed by award winning recipe! And I can't wait to return to Nardò!

Yelp
Continuing my search for the perfect crust in LA i decided to visit Nardo. Nice little place, pretty decor. Even tho I came in on a hot Sunday afternoon where normal people should be taking a nap, haha I was greeted with a smile and was given the perfect amount of attention. About the food. Got the Buffalina (hop I got the name right) pizza. Size was bigger than I expected (most La restaurants skimp on the dough), the tomato sauce tasted amazing and the crust.... yum. Added mushrooms but tbh was not crazy about them. Prolly should have specified "wild" (assuming they have more than one kind). In conclusion: Been to Naples Italy and I got to say this one was pretty close to what you get there. Much thanks to my server Sh' lon. Appreciate the hospitality! PS: Pardon my non-Instagram quality photos. Best I can do ;)

Yelp
This restaurant was beautiful and the food was amazing! We had the burrata with truffle, Nardo pizza, rib eye, and ravioli. The service was fantastic! 10:/10 here. Ask for Sh'lon, such a great guy!

Yelp
I came with my family who is vegetarian after seeing the many vegetarian options on the website menu, but we were disappointed to find that the in-house menu was different and offered few customization options. If this isn't a concern for you, though, the ambiance was great.

Yelp
came here for dinner with a friend the the vibe and service were great. the food was also delicious. i tried one of their pizzas while my friend had the ravioli. i absolutely enjoyed the pizza, i love wood fire, thing crust pizza. the music and dimmed lights elevated the experience for me.

Yelp
Everything we tried was incredible and the service was super attentive. The pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven and you can really taste it! But the highlight of the meal was the lobster and clam pasta that came with a half lobster! The servers were super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is fun. Would be great for a dinner with friends.

Yelp
This place is brand new to a neighborhood with a lot of phenomenal Italian, but for just being open for a few months, they're doing pretty well. Pizzas are great, and cooked in an authentic stone pizza oven by the bar. The staff are attentive and helpful. I have Celiac and can't eat anything containing gluten, so I was a bit disappointed when I tried to order their gluten-free pasta from the menu and a server told me "we don't have gluten-free pasta" -- but then a manager checked in with me later and apologized for the mistake. Hopefully I'll get to try it another time. The only thing I think they could work on is their cocktail menu -- the cocktails are all very sweet, and as other reviewers mention, they don't feel like they pair well with the theme of the restaurant, or even with the food menu itself. With a change in their cocktail menu, this place has the potential to stick around in the neighborhood for years to come.

Yelp
Stopped in with a friend for happy hour. Had not been before. Out waitress was so nice. Suggested great apps. Checking in on us. We got a wide variety of good. The calamari was an inconsistent cut so done was tender and others chewy but delicious with shrimp too. Asked for marinara and it was great. Gnocchi was not good, pastie and peppery with that sauce tasting like raw flour. The small pizza was wonderful and a staple in the menu. Coming back for that. The potato croquets were delicious too. Looking forward to trying their homemade pasta dinners when I go back.

Yelp
This place was phenomenal . Great service and food . The best mushroom ravioli I ever had . The sauce had truffle in it and it was creamy and divine . I dipped the pizza crust in the ravioli sauce , it was that good. I also liked the artichoke salad and Brussels sprouts without pancetta . Their pizzas are made fresh and come in 4 large pieces . Don't skip on the chili oil . Def get the Tiramisu for dessert .

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance are stellar! For years, I have passed this spot and since AIC left it, it's been a few places. However, we were thrilled to find this wonderful restaurant. It is a beautifully decorated space and plenty of space inside. I hope this will be here for years because the pizza is out of this world. I had the Pepe cacio (I think that's backwards) and it was outstanding. Kept thinking about for some time afterward. The service was personable and approachable. The wait was no longer than expected. They were cheerful as well. I look forward to returning here!!!

Yelp
Very nice meal, straightforward, and completely competent. Not a staggering compliment. Deserving of a perfectly mundane dining experience. The deets are a bit thin, I almost forgot we dined here. But on the heels of a Roman holiday, you wouldn't be transported to that lovely place by the tastes herein. I'm sure we can do better, Nardo. Just sharing an impression so that you can make a better one as you grow.

Yelp
We came to Nardo to celebrate my cousin-in-law's birthday. Our group was seated on the upstairs patio, beautifully decorated with flowers and tea lights courtesy of my stylish cousin-in-law. The evening began with a cocktail hour, followed by delicious pizzas as appetizers. Each diner chose their meal, complete with a salad and dessert. I savored braised boar pasta. My wife was pleased with her steak, and my son's ravioli was a hit. Unfortunately, our friend's halibut choice, which I had considered, didn't meet expectations. It seemed others who ordered the fish felt the same. Nevertheless, the attentive service from our servers was admirable, considering the size of our group. I anticipate coming back for another dining experience, perhaps with a smaller party

Yelp
Nardos is such a lovely place to dine! The GM and employees are so sweet. It's definitely a very cute date night/brunch spot. They're kind of new but I think everyone should try them out! My favorite drink is the "Porn Star" it's soooo good! I had the potato croquets, the lasanga and for dessert I had a pistachio covered ice cream with caramel inside! Everything was 10/10!
