My wife was so keen to visit this restaurant, and she was absolutely delighted when we managed to secure a reservation, it's definitely worth the hype. I love the ambience, service and ofcourse the delicious food. I am personally not familiar with Japanese food, but enjoyed all the dishes served. My personal favourite, Chilli Cheese Temaki and the soup flavour in the Ramen. The Japanese cheese cake was light and tasty. I would absolutely love to visit this place again someday and try other dishes.

Finally was able to try Naru Noodle Bar, Getting a reservation is definitely a challenge. The space is small but the ambience is good. You can see the ramen being prepared from the counter. The items are made to order and fresh. Tried the Not Bacon Kombucha, Chilli Cheese Crab Temaki, Tokyo style shoyu ramen(Pork) and double chocolate cake. The Kombucha had a unique smoky bacony taste, very different from the usual kombucha taste. Temaki was good. The Shoyu was a mild clear broth ramen which was excellent. If you want spicy kick in the ramen, ask for the free Rayu (Chilli oil) on the side. The cake was the showstopper, really good chocolate dessert. The appetizers quantity could be better. Otherwise the Ramen and Dessert was worth the price. The service was really good. The servers and chefs were interactive and open to feedback. Would definitely come back sometime.

If you’re a ramen lover in Bengaluru, Naru Bar is definitely a spot to experience the authentic Japanese flavours. Their kombuchas are refreshing and unique, a perfect start before diving into their ramen bowls which truly steal the show. We tried the Shrooms Tonkotsu, Nati Tori Chicken, OG Tonkotsu, and Spicy Tori Paitan Ramen they were all deeply flavorful, rich, and comforting. Honestly, some of the best ramen you’ll find in the city, crafted with care and authentic ingredients. The appetizers however, didn’t quite hit the same note for us. We tried the Unagi Eel Temaki, Chilli Cheese Crab Temaki, and King Karaage, they looked great but fell a bit short in taste and portion size. The pricing leans towards the higher side, especially considering the portions, but the quality and attention to detail in the ramen make it somewhat worth the splurge. A word of advice, reservations is a must, as it’s one of Bengaluru’s most sought-after spots and seats fill up fast What’s also fascinating is how Naru Bar stands as one of India’s few ramen-focused izakayas, bringing authentic Japanese dining culture right to the heart of Bengaluru. After what seems like many lifetimes, I managed to get reservations at the elusive EatNaru. It was a great lunch experience. Everything that we ordered was fab quality. Especially the ramen texture, nothing comes close in Bangalore. Drinks are limited and very expensive. But goes with the meal so worth trying. I’d like to see more clear broth options on the menu for the ramen and hence the 4/5 rating. Will be back to try the items I couldn’t in this visit. Overall if you’re looking for quality food, albeit expensive, Naru is the place to be. Would love to see if they introduce a different menu or add more variety.

Authentic Japanese Flavours, Thoughtful Service & Elegant Ambience We had a wonderful experience at Naru Noodles Bar, a near-perfect balance of authentic flavours, refined ambience, and attentive service. We had a 2:30 PM reservation and, although we arrived early at 2:10, they were punctual in seating us exactly on time. The space is clean, minimalistic, and beautifully lit. Simple yet stylish. As a couple, we were seated at the bar on high chairs, while tables seemed reserved for larger groups. A note for families, kids below 10 aren’t allowed, so we’ll have to wait a bit before bringing ours along! What we tried: Chilli Crab Cheese Temaki: My wife’s favourite - perfectly charred and rich in flavour. Unagi Temaki: Crisp, flavourful, and perfectly portioned. Honey Wasabi Chicken Karaage: Absolute must-try! Crisp outside, tender inside, with just the right wasabi kick. Pork Gyoza: The least impressive of the lot, but still tasty - my wife loved it more than I did. OG Tonkotsu Ramen (Pork): Deep, soulful broth - easily one of the best in the city. Added tofu katsu for extra crunch. Shrooms Tonkotsu (Chicken add-on): My wife enjoyed this vegetarian twist on the classic. Japanese Cheesecake: Authentic and light - not the sponge-like versions you usually get. Perfectly fluffy with that delicate eggy richness. Staff were warm and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with great suggestions. The illustrated menu helps visualize dishes before ordering, which is a nice touch. Only minor downside — the bar seating could use better back support. Valet parking costs ₹200, but we were lucky to have our car parked right at the entrance. Overall, Naru Noodles Bar delivers on authenticity, flavour, and experience. Highly recommended for Japanese cuisine lovers. Rating: 9/10

Good, but not great! It was a decent experience dining at the much sought after Naru Noodle Bar. We tried for a couple of weeks before we managed to get a reservation, so it's luck and really a game of fastest finger fast. We were 3 of us tried a bunch of items, all of which were okay good. Not the best in taste or crazy but a good 3.8-4 / 5. Definitely worth visiting once. Not my favourite Ramen place in the city. Maybe 2nd or 3rd, haha.

Well what do I tell about the experience. I loved 🥰 the way we were treated at this place. They helped with menu and choosing the right food for each of us. We were a group of 6 and we each one of us enjoyed our meals thoroughly! Few takeaways and for future first time diners 1. Order starters & then definitely judge your appetite before ordering Ramen bowls because the portion size is quite large and they have two sizes so order accordingly. 2. No matter what.. order Edamame! Order EDAMAME! It’s amazing 🤩 the flavour the smokiness.. 👌 3. Definitely read reviews to know what not to miss. We loved of course the Edamame, Aburi Salmon and Crab sushi. Ramen we ordered the Tongatsu and Shoyu and we both loved our choices.. thanks to the team at Naru who helps you patiently with the choices for our taste palette. 4. Definitely lookout for booking slots and it’s definitely worth the visit.
