Came here for lunch while at a conference. The vibe is super cool and chill and they have ample seating both in and outdoors. They have a stage where live music is available in the evening. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and the mac and cheese, both were good but the fries were a bit soggy. The food came hot and timely. I was able to eat in the hour I had for lunch. Waitress was efficient and kind. I'd check it out if your near by!

Google
We have eaten here twice during our stay. The hot chicken was delicious. So tender and juicy. Mixing their sauces for the fries was a treat in itself. My buddy had the meatloaf and he loved it. The live music was fantastic.

Google
Our first time in Nashville and Lauren made our first food experience amazing! The Hot Chicken, the Chicken Fried Steak and Fried okra were incredible - also try the White BBQ sauce. Just the right amount of spice on the mild hot chicken and a lightly breaded okra. Recommend a crisp Bell's two hearted IPA to enjoy with it. Will definitely be back.

After three long days of a conference nearby at music City Center this place hit the spot with soulful Southern food! The cornmeal batter catfish and fried okra give me the energy to keep going for the day. The Nashville heat and humidity and wildness downtown was no match for me after consuming the southern staple they sling out at this place. A beautiful restaurant in good service.

Google
We had lunch while attending a conference at the convention center. Excellent service and a good location for being near the center. I tried the smoked turkey sandwich and it was a miss. The turkey was good, but kale should not be the main green on any sandwich. The kale was hard and too much. To add it, the avocado was not ripe, at all. It was clear that one would have needed a sharp knife to cut it and it still found its way onto the sandwich. I am sure others things on the menu would have been good, but kale and avo were a big miss.

We had a long day and got started at the restaurant downstairs to our Hotel and NashHouse was worth it! The pancakes were spot on. Eggs and bacon great too. The biscuits were so ridiculously fluffy and delicious. They would've been great I'm sure with biscuits and gravy. Now the BBQ hash skillet ...words can't even begin to describe how good it was. I don't like eggs but this was a very good way to enjoy them. I would absolutely recommend the BBQ Hash Skillet. The fruit was also very fresh! The staff was wonderful. I can imagine this place at night and hope to be back one day!

I honestly can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write this review, but I love this place. Last time visiting here was two or three years ago, but a friend mentioned eating here the other day and I remembered! My mom and I were staying at the Grand Hyatt Central for a weekend and we ate here for lunch one day and it was so good that on our way out of town, we stopped off for breakfast here. Service is amazing and the live performances are such a great experience to have while dining here! Love this place.

Google
Stopped in specifically for the fried pickles. Although I prefer the sliced pickle chips, these were OK as well. Also ordered a blackened chicken breast a la carte. Service was quick and waitress was courteous.

Ashley R.

Yelp
I came here for a late bite when most things closed down earlier. This place still served late food, which I got some fries with barbecued pork on top. It hit the spot great. Service was nice, the place was clean and quiet. A great spot for meeting groups. Had a stage area for live music. Would return!

Christine S.

Yelp
Nashhouse was good not great but a decent meal for a decent price! I don't have anything bad to say about this place. The service was good, the food fine , and the ambiance was chill. Because we were staying close by, we chose this place as our first stop. The bbq sauce was good and the pork and fries were tasty. Nothing soooo amazing but nothing bad either. If you are looking for a standout place this is not it, but if you want something relaxed with reliable home cooked foods, this place is for you. If I were staying in the hotel above again, I might go just for convenience but I wouldn't seek this place out, especially when there are so many bbq spots in Nashville!

Garrett O.

Yelp
Great first visit to NashHouse. Enjoyed the live music, friendly staff, and hot chicken! Prices were very reasonable for so many draft beer choices, so should be able to find something local that fits your profile. A few of their kegs were out, but definitely recommend you ask for recommendations because they had several to try that weren't yet printed on the menu. Will definitely be back next time i'm in the area!

Mollie G.

Yelp
When we were here on Wednesday night they had live music and it was fairly empty. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The food was great!

Isabel H.

Yelp
Went here to try out their viral Uncle Kelly's coffee shop! It's kind of tricky to find but its tucked into the back left corner of the restaurant. I brought friends for the festive ghost coffees we saw online. I got a cookie butter latte with the ghosts inside the cup (which is just marshmallow fluff that tastes like cold foam.) Super delish drink with such a fun photo op!

Ric P.

Yelp
Had a good time and a great meal at the NSS&S. Nice menu and decent, reasonable, prices too. The deviled eggs, each with a different topping, was eggsellent!! The maple bourbon salmon was moist and flavorful. The Smashburgers were true Smashburgers!! Juicy, crusty, and packed with flavor. Almost the best Smashburger I've had.

Behr B.

Yelp
Super Close to the Westin Hotel and away from all the craziness of broadway. Cute place and service was good. Eggs Benny was so good I came in the next day and had them again and they were even better. Would recommend.

Shannon R.

Yelp
Stopped in after a long night of music and cocktails. Realized we were starving. Ordered a burger and fries and enjoyed them immensely! Great band and atmosphere, and we will be back the next time we're in Nashville.

Steve P.

Yelp
Bar food is great Bat tenders are great, good music fun place! Huge beer selection!! Give it a try!! Also an amazing coffee bar !!!

Melissa I.

Yelp
The food was delicious, but the service was a little subpar. We sat down and there were very few people in the restaurant. We ordered, and then it began to fill up. Unfortunately, our food took forever to arrive, tables around us all began to receive their food. We asked several times and over an hour later, we finally got our food. Again, the beignets were amazing! The bbq mac was delicious!

Michele F.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. A friend and I were looking for a place to eat dinner after a long day traveling to Nashville. We decided to eat here as it looked like a fun place with a cool vibe. The menu was pretty varied, with lots of comfort food options. I ended up getting the Southern Cobb salad, which was huge and filled with lots of fresh veggies and yummy smoked turkey. I opted for the vinaigrette dressing, which was super tasty. I was very happy with my meal. The restaurant was filled with large groups, so it was a little noisy. There were also country singers on the stage, which we really enjoyed. All in all, it is a solid choice for dinner.

Amy V.

Yelp
Love this place twice now. AMANDA served me, she such a great person and server!! Much appreciated

Danielle J.

Yelp
Perfect spot located at the downstairs of the Cambria Hotel. Service and food were amazing. Live music at night. Restaurant was clean and spacious.

MaryBeth M.

Yelp
Food was average at best. Nothing fantastic but could have been worse. Service was terrible. Saw our server a total of 3 times during our brunch and when we did see her she acted like she couldn't care less about being there. The restaurant wasn't full and it took almost 2 hours for us to get our food, eat and cash out.

Jessica S.

Yelp
We love coming here when we visit Nashville. They have an Amazing brunch with live music. I love that they offer comfort food and have a large gluten-free selection. We also enjoy coming for dinner, and our waiter actually plays some live music. We always order the fried green tomatoes, deviled egg, platter, and the banana pudding. We were here to celebrate a 21st birthday, and they sang and went above and beyond.

Bobbie W.

Yelp
There are to many things that I wanted to try! The chicken was cooked perfect and so juicy. The service it top notch! Open air environment with the garage doors up when it is nice makes it a great place to enjoy Nashville

Charles J.

Yelp
We stayed at the Cambria Hotel attached to NashHouse. We chose to eat here because it was raining and it was convenient. We were very disappointed. I ordered a ribeye steak and it came out looking like a thin breakfast steak. My wife ordered the salmon and it was very bland. The peas that came with my steak were bland as well. The 1 star is for the convenience. I definitely would not recommend this place for their food.

Kim B.

Yelp
Had breakfast there this am . I had the Nash Benedict . It was horrible . The eggs were cold, biscuit was doughy , hash brown casserole was just ok . Didn't eat much of my breakfast. Waitress was uncaring . Didn't even say thank you etc . WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN .

Brad B.

Yelp
My wife and I went here for breakfast and it was amazing! The hot chicken is one of the best I've had in Nashville. Cool atmosphere and friendly service on top of really good food! We will definitely be back.

Rhonda F.

Yelp
The food was so good served in decent sized portions at fair market prices. I had the chicken fried steak which was really made with steak, I believe flank and not just chopped steak. It came with creamy mashed potatoes and onion straws. My husband had a generous slice of meat loaf and red gravy with the creamy mashed potatoes and onion straws. Other family joined us and enjoyed a BELT better known as an egg, bacon, lettuce and tomato, served with an abundance of fries, shrimp and grits, another chicken fried steak. One sensible diner just ordered a huge bowl of fruit. The staff greeted us warmly, accommodated the additional guests at our table, and our server had no problem issuing separate checks. A block off of the infamous Broadway, live music is offered on weekends on their sizable stage. We even thought of returning to hear this weekend's entertainment but were still stuffed from our last lunch,

Melissa L.

Yelp
This was the first restaurant we went to on our trip to Nashville. It was a short walk from our Hotel (Tempo Hilton) Our waiter was great. I don't remember his name. He gave us some good recommendations on food. Our meals come out quickly. It was fresh and yummy. There was live music playing. Just a guy with a quitar. He was taking requests. I wish we went back again before leaving. I liked that it wasn't on the main drag.

Dawn D.

Yelp
Service was terrible and they weren't even busy. The fried pickles were amazing and we loved the white bbq sauce. Burger was good and the fries were probably left over from the day before. There are so many other options in Nashville.

Norm W.

Yelp
After a very underwhelming entrance to the NashHouse Southern Spoon thanks to their hostess Miss Casey, we enjoyed a very nice meal and got great service from our server Brian. We almost turned around and walked out, after she showed us to our table dropped the menus, without saying a word and walked away. There was more, but we'll highlight the positives, and hope the management addresses their face of the place when you walk in! Brian greeted us warmly, answered our first couple of questions and quickly returned with our waters, ready to take our drink orders. He appeared to be the only server, and treated each guest arriving after us in the same fashion, with politeness and a great attitude. The menu is pretty extensive, includes quite an assortment of breakfast items, some lunch and a wide variety of beers and other choices. I ordered the lightly smoked Turkey and avocado sandwich with kale, and fries. The lovely K ordered the Uncle Kelly which is a breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuit, gravy and hash brown casserole. Hers was good, mine was great. My TN Blood Moon was unusual, but quite tasty and K's Bloody Mary also good. The ceiling of the place is very unique, and right up my alley, with heavy rough hewn wooden beams and a very large bar. Had we not started off with such a thud thanks to the first person we encountered it would have been a five star experience for us. Hopefully that most important part of the overall visit can be rectified and this place can thrive.

David B.

Yelp
Solid comfort food with live music in a clubby atmosphere, that's how I would describe NashHouse. I went with the chicken and waffles and wasn't disappointed. Music was a little loud, but it's Nashville, right! I would recommend to large groups looking to get the party started early.

Steve P.

Yelp
Arrived at 12:15... food came one plate at a time and wasn't served fully until 2pm. And then it was cold. Birds were flying around inside the restaurant and table service was so slow water took 1/2 hour to be refilled. Finally, The food was only okay. I would not return. After almost 2 hours they should have comped the meal.

Rob M.

Yelp
The atmosphere was pleasant! Nice, open area with lots to see in and out. Situated in the middle of a tourist trap, I didn't expect to be blown away by the quality of food, but I WAS hopeful for at least one bite of something that didn't offend!! It was horrible. Plain and simple, bad bad bad. Service was the reason I don't give a 1 star. It wasn't as horrible as the food. As I read through the previous 5star (food) reviews, I have to ask myself how many cousins does the owner have? Location is great. Bar was lively and music was fun. Just don't expect to have a tasty meal.

Jamie S.

Yelp
Popped in for brunch. The place is adorable. Very airy with outside doors wide open and outside seating - love that! Sat at the bar- service was good. I ordered the cheesy grits. Hard pass. They were not fresh whatsoever. Very dry. Which is so unnecessary. Even if you used quick grits, it's a 10 minute cook and they're cheap, just keep them fresh. Cheese sprinkled ONLY on top rather than mixed in. Just a huge bummer. I saw another yelp reviewer who stated something about the curdled creamer in the coffee. I thought it might be a one off so I ordered the coffee anyway.. nope. They were correct. I just think they don't refrigerate the half-and-half. Hubby ordered the chicken fried steak. We both got it was tasty, but absolutely nothing special about it. There was vomit in the sink of the ladies restroom. Since it was dry, and it was 11am, I would presume it was from the night before, perhaps? The two stars is for the circus. I would never go back there though..

Courtenay M.

Yelp
Had a very enjoyable Dinner at NashHouse. I liked that it was just off Broadway but also a bit removed from all the chaos downtown. It's a large room with plenty of seating and we really enjoyed the shrimp and grits, chicken fried steak, bbq, nachos and a few other items. A drawback for me would be the slowness of the service and the lack of attention. They were not particularly busy when we were there but still waited nearly 20 minutes after we were seated to meet our server and then after drinks and food were delivered, we never saw them again until we were done. Missed an opportunity to sell more beverages and desserts. I rounded up and gave it 4 stars because the food was so good but based on service it should be a 3.5

Eddy B.

Yelp
Live guitarist / singer, a classic Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a tart sour beer. Couldn't ask for more, would definitely return.

J T.

Yelp
This was our favorite place while staying at the 1Hotel which was right next door. The food was so good as was the live music and service!

Charlotte W.

Yelp
We went for happy hour specials. It was not advertised nor did our waiter seem to want to tell us about them. He did confirm they had them and we ordered a few apps and drinks. The fried pickles were super thin and just tasted like fried nothing. Deviled eggs were good and the bacon queso dip was yummy. Can't go wrong with $5 happy hour drinks though!

Angela B.

Yelp
NashHouse was a great treat. I ended up visiting this restaurant while I was in Nashville on a business trip. I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of the place. We had previously made reservations because we did not know what the dinner crowd would be like. When we got there, it was not busy. But it started to fill up really fast. So I am glad that we made reservations. When we got there, we were seated immediately. There was live music when we got there, but it was not too loud. Our server was really great and gave us some good recommendations. I ended up getting a salad because I wanted to get something light. I chose the Cobb Salad, as I thought it would be too filling, but not overwhelming. It was such a huge salad portion. But it was so good! The salad was crisp and the ingredients were freshly made. I thoroughly enjoyed the service and atmosphere. I would definitely come back again and would try one of the burgers or either a steak. Some members of our party had these items and they looked really good. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a laid back place with good food, great service and good music.

Cynthia M.

Yelp
Happy hour at the Nashhouse is a hit in my mind! $5 beer and wine; $5 appetizers! I've never had such unique fried pickles before. Super thinly sliced with a crunchy coating, served with a white barbecue sauce, they were absolutely satisfying and delicious. I tried two of the house wines, and both were wonderful. The best part of the experience was our waitress Kim who was super interactive and fun to talk to, as well as giving delightful service with a bright smile. She recommended just the right kind of beer (for my husband's taste) of their 30-something beers on tap. We are staying here in the attached Cambria Hotel and will definitely be back for more happy hours here!

Dani O.

Yelp
We went out for lunch at the busiest time. Looked for a place that didn't have an hour wait. Decided on Nashhouse Southern Spoon. We didn't have to wait and that was great! Went to hostess station to get seated. Waited a bit for the hostess to get there. When she started walking towards us, she was not friendly. No expression on her face and said nothing to us. I said 3 and she took us to our seats. Not long after we sat down, we had Thomas come to our table. He took our drink orders, which were not alcoholic and we ordered the fried pickles. A super friendly guy brought us our pickles and made a couple jokes with us. We would have rather had this guy be our waiter. He was very friendly! Thomas was not friendly. The fried pickles were fantastic!!! Highly recommend! These are what we ordered: Nash Burger - cheddar cheese * fried farm egg * hickory bacon * bourbon maple mustard - SUPER DELICIOUS!! Cowboy Burger - pepperjack cheese * spicy onion straws * bbq sauce * fresh jalapeños * hickory bacon - SUPER DELICIOUS!! Cheeseburger - changed cheddar to pepper Jack cheese. - SUPER AMAZING!! For Dessert. - Nashville Beignets. THESE WERE AMAZING!! I wish there were more than 4 though. I asked Thomas for our check and felt very uncomfortable as he stood above me as I completed my credit card transaction including the tipping. Final conclusion: Food was great! Service was not good and weird.

Ron P.

Yelp
Stumbled across this place while walking and stopped in for a few drinks. Great atmosphere and decor. Sat at the bar, Pete, the bartender, was great. Very fun, knowledgeable, and talkative. Had a great time and would definitely go back. Highly recommended...

Heather M.

Yelp
The food was great and the server knowledgeable about gluten free options. They weren't listed in the menu but it was still easy. Great environment. We were there for breakfast but it looks like fun for live entertainment, too.

Estele K.

Yelp
We ordered brisket, bbq, and fried chicken. The only good thing from those three was the fried chicken. Brisket and the bbq were super dry, almost no moistness was left on the meat. The service was friendly, and they also had live music with multiple different singers on the stage playing guitar, so the ambiance was very jazz bar type. Overall, I would not come back here for food but I would come back for the music and alcohol.

J P.

Yelp
Host was pretty rude. I mean how hard is your job dude? All you have to do is greet people and seat them. Our server was very nice, so that at least made the visit tolerable. The food was pretty mid but late night there aren't many other options in the area.

Frank M.

Yelp
My wife and I popped in for some late-night food after an event at the JW Marriot. Boy, talk about the quintessential Nashville experience - huge place, big bar, a Café, live music, and Nashville hot chicken on the menu. When we arrived there were 2 tables having dinner, and one table that was there to watch the live music. That's pretty much empty, considering there are something like 50+ tables in the establishment. Our server was a really nice guy, but he just wasn't there promptly, drinks got empty, he forgot things, and everything was slow. I like that you can substitute a grilled chicken patty for the burgers. It is a small attempt to keep things a little healthier. We got the Nash Burger - cheddar, fried egg, bacon, and a special bourbon maple mustard. For me, the bacon was too soft/undercooked. It was the same for the fries - not crispy at all (could have used a couple more minutes in the fryer). I only asked for one other thing, a side of mayo, which our server forgot to bring. He did quickly bring it once I reminded him. If this is what happens with only 14 customers in the place, I can't imagine a full house or busy weekend night.

Gabe P.

Yelp
I stumbled upon NashHouse while strolling the downtown area. It wasn't crowded , so I took a chance. I actually came twice during my visit to the area. Both times I sat at the bar. The bar service was cool. My first visit, It was during happy hour. I enjoyed a few glasses of house wines and an appetizer, which was 5 deviled eggs. Five different flavors. I didn't care for them a whole lot. Second visit , was during lunch / brunch time. I had a burger (Nash burger) and fries. Double patty, American cheese , bacon and egg with a maple mustard. Sounds good, huh? It was decent. Lacked flavor slightly but it hit the spot. The fries were good but lacked salt. Easy fix! Live music is the backdrop , so that's entertaining. Very spacious inside with an open patio seating. All cool things. I enjoyed visiting here and would come again. Nice draught beer selection.

Barbara A.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a local when I needed somewhere to meet with a large group of people for a work thing. He said he was unsure how dinner was, but that brunch was excellent. Well, dinner was great! We started with fried pickles that came with their white bbq sauce. Sometimes, frying the pickle brings out an over-salted taste, but not in this case. Also, it was breaded nicely so that it was crisp (not mushy). I had the chicken fried chicken that came with Vidalia biscuit stuffing, carrots, and country gravy. It did not come out the way I imagined, laid out on the plate, but as stacked. But that worked, and I enjoyed the flavors meshing together. The chicken was not dry (I guess this is Nashville; you better get fried chicken right) and had a good scald to it. My week here was spent drinking bourbon, bourbon, bourbon, so I opted for a Not Old Fashioned. The first drink was perfect - good ice ratio, nice sweetness balanced with the bourbon, and of course, a luxardo cherry (once you have one of these, you will never go back to those fluorescent maraschino cherries.) Unfortunately, the second one I ordered was way too sweet and over-iced and clearly made by someone other than the bartender who made my first one. Despite that, I would totally come back here again for drinks and dinner.

NoOneUkNow N.

Yelp
Sit in breakfast was good, service was a little off but it was a semi busy weekend morning. Would NOT recommend getting breakfast to go and take it up stairs to your room. Over all decent but not wow

Montana L.

Yelp
Stopped in here on Friday morning. There was not wait! I ordered the breakfast macaroni and cheese. It was an unusual combination of Mac and cheese, veggies, and eggs but it paired together really well. For the price I was expecting a little Bigger portion. The biscuit was delicious. It was light and fluffy. Would be fun to visit this place in the evening as it had a big stage for live music. If you park valet at the hotel next door, the restaurant will stamp your voucher for free parking.

Jessica S.

Yelp
We almost didn't come because of negative reviews. We experienced the exact opposite of all of those! Prompt attention, server Allison was amazing and even took some time to make recommendations that we needed. Food was great! Also the live music with a non crazy atmosphere was exactly what we needed!!

Mike W.

Yelp
Stopped in for some apps and drinks toward the end of the night. Very nice place, great live music, and pretty good service for how busy it was. My wife and I shared the bacon queso dip and the fried pickles. I'm not sure how thrilled the others in our group were with their entrees but the dip was pretty good and the pickles were really thinly ribbon cut with a perfect batter and delicious white bbq, almost like ranch, dipping sauce.

Damien P.

Yelp
March 1, 2024 The bartender Pete was great and very understanding but when I saw a roach crawling on the bar I lost my appetite. I HIGHLY doubt I try this place again .

Kelly P.

Yelp
Honestly I was surprised at how much I liked this place! Came here on a Friday night and had no problem getting a booth. I think it's juuust far enough away from all the chaos of downtown and Bridgestone, which I also liked. There was a dude singing and he was pretty good; did some singer-songwriter-esque versions of songs most people know, but aren't typical for downtown, which was refreshing! Food came out very fast and they have a card reader they bring to the table at the end, which is convenient. It was chilly so I was psyched they had hot tea, and for my meal I got the Chicken Fried Chicken. Not my go-to, but the Vidalia Biscuit Stuffing looked too good (and it was stellar!). I didn't like the gravy, personally (was there cheese in it?), and because I couldn't really scrape it off I kind of took the top layer of breading off which was actually preferable and had the chicken with some of the bbq sauce on the table. It was super good. My dining mates enjoyed the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and tomato sauce. I'd come back!

Natty C.

Yelp
This was next door to our hotel Cambria Nashville Downtown. We came here for a late night dinner at 10pm because the kitchen was closed everywhere else. I had the barbecue sampler with the brisket. It was delicious. They also had love music here. The place was not packed at all but service was a little slow. I also tried coffee from their coffee bar. They also have grab and go items for breakfast at the coffee bar, the cinnamon apple muffin was good!

Laura A.

Yelp
Business dinner, quick walk from JW Marriott, sat outside next to very busy street. Garage door was closed so we could talk. Loud karaoke was going on as this was a Thursday night. Food was ok. We started with queso bacon dip which was mediocre. I ordered the meatloaf which came on mashed potatoes. Both were kinda bland but very filling. The guest next to me had shrimp & grits. He said it was ok but swimming in a liquid that was unusual. A few others got hot chicken sandwiches and said they were very good. They were out of some common beers so the guys had to drink Busch light which they laughed about. I had a Riesling wine. Oh and the other weird thing was the waitress had a portable checkout device and had the tip set to 30% automatically!?!
