"From 6 to 8 p.m. on August 6, I can join the nonprofit Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE) for a virtual cooking class learning to make Venezuelan empanadas with Guasacaca dipping sauce and discussing life in Venezuela from an immigrant’s perspective; located in Nashville, NICE's mission is to ensure refugees and immigrants achieve their full potential, and tickets run from $15 to $40 (the provided recipe will serve 12)." - Delia Jo Ramsey

I became an immigrant due to a bad incident that happened in my country. When my visa was approved, I was very happy and I definitely had dreams about the definitions I had heard from the United States. But when I was introduced to this office as a client and saw the attitude of the employees of this office, it was very ugly, unprofessional and even condescending, it ruined my imagination. Instead of feeling sympathy for an immigrant and raising his morale, the employees of this institution weaken the morale of the client and create despair instead of hope. There is an employee named Azadeh Najafian who repeatedly told me that I have a PhD and I could not do anything here. In general, this is an institution not for cooperation, but for demoralization and despair.

I was one of there clients in 2021, based on the paperwork they should provide me ride from my house to my work for 3 months and I didn’t have to pay for it, but they had talk with a guy that he would take me to work and back home and I have pay them 30 dollars every day for 8 miles all together. I realized after 3 months and paid that money. I talk to them but they don’t do anything.

I had an appointment at 11:00 am, At first no one was answering the door after 4 attempts they opened the door so I was there at 10:58 and the front desk said that they will attend me soon and at 11:30 they said that the will attend me shortly once they are done the client and now it is 12:03 and still they haven’t attended me. Now that’s called a good management I believe.

They're nice people especially the Somali lady at front desk, miss Cindy and kong. Currently I really don't like the Rwandan lady she's full of pride and unprofessional language . I hate it when old men and women who can't speak English and Swahili try to speak to her in native language but she continues to speak English. Unprofessional in everything mainly in speaking and dressing.
