Best Hidden Gem Restaurants in Austin | Eater Austin

"Nate’s is a great way to start your morning near Downtown, if you know where to look. Though it may be overshadowed by its neighbor, Better Half, this small breakfast and lunch spot has quality pastries like housemade muffins and scones, fluffy biscuits, and weekend kolaches and danishes. The savory options include a chicken salad sandwich with avocado and bacon that has quite a following. The whole menu is served while the cafe is open, so grab a stool inside or outside and order the afternoon frittata of your dreams." - Erin Russell

I had such a wonderful experience with Nate Bakeshop. They recreated a custom cake for me for my birthday, and they were incredibly accommodating, communicative, and kind throughout the whole process. Working with them was so easy and genuinely enjoyable, they really went above and beyond. Not only are they lovely people, but their cakes are also absolutely delicious! Rich, flavorful, and perfectly made. And the shop itself is adorable… such a cute, cozy ambiance. I can’t recommend Nate Bakeshop enough. Truly the best cake shop in Austin!

Google
I was told this place had the best breakfast sandwich in Austin and they were right! It's hard to find tasty breakfast in Austin that's under $15 and this place does just that. Good coffee, beautiful part of downtown, and a unique breakfast sandwich filled with brisket and pimento cheese and homemade buns. Give it a shot and support your local unique Austin restaurants, we're losing them everyday. Was able to meet the owner too, very sweet person who just wants to give people affordable food and coffee.

Small but very vibrant on a Saturday morning especially with live music there. Had a good Cuban sandwich and green smoothie. More seating outside than in.

Google
Great tucked away cafe. I got the brisket breakfast sandwich, blueberry scone and cinnamon roll and they were all incredibly satisfying. Definitely will come back!

Friendly, knowledgable staff, cutely decorated and a wide variety of drinks and baked goods/sandwiches. The old school Austin weird/laid back vibe makes this place a gem.

Google
I love that this place exists. It’s hidden down the back alley and it feels like it shouldn’t exist. It’s like this coffee and bake goods hideaway buried in the most unlikely place in downtown. Of all the little coffee shops that are right in this area this one truly feels like a neighborhood hidden gem. There’s absolutely no parking if you got some, it’s like winning the lottery Very, not wheelchair friendly but exceptionally friendly to everything else Great spot where y’all really all.

Google
Good coffee and they have their own bakery. We tried everything and it's all so good. Keep up the good job and quality. We will be back soon!!!

Google
What Austin used to feel like! Quaint coffee shop tucked away with friendly baristas and staff. Coffee, espresso specifically was very smooth. Not a ton of seating but on a weekday was easy to get in and out. All of their food looked delicious, blueberry scone was recommended and didn’t disappoint!

Yelp
Nate's Baked Goods was a mystical journey or culinary delight. When I received my sandwich in its wrapping, I was skeptical. Could this slider sized sandwich really satiate my bottomless hunger? It more than delivered. The bread was fresh, and the flavors balanced. My only regret was not getting here sooner to have a wider selection of baked goods!

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for so long!! I have a long list of coffee shops in Austin to try and this was the first one I added a year ago, and finally got around to checking it out! Sadly, it did not live up to the excitement and expectations I had. Coffee- 2/10; I'm sure not all of their lattes and teas were as bad as mine, but my drink sucked a lot. I ordered a 16 oz iced coconut latte with whole milk, because the coconut syrup was homemade! I stood near the barista as she made my order, and I noticed she poured the milk "with her heart", as she did not accurately measure the correct amount of milk! The espresso looked great and she stirred it before serving it to me, and it looked like a good shade of brown so i disregarded the amount of milk. But when I tasted the latte, I tasted no coconut and barely any sweetness whatsoever. I was really disappointed, because for being over 5 dollars before adding the $1 syrup I really thought I would be receiving more bang for my buck! I eventually just sipped all of it pretty quick just to get it over with, because I wish I hadn't spent over $6 in this mediocre cup of coffee! Ambiance/service- 8/10: the employees were very nice, and the interior and exterior too! It's quaint and homey on the inside and there's quite a few tables outside! When I told the cashier I had never been here before she gladly explained the menu and helped me navigate it, very kind! I had a good experience with the coffee shop itself, just not the coffee. I actually gave it 3 stars because of how nice they were and also the baked goods, the coffee I would rate 0 stars. The sausage kolache was amazing, so I was really glad I got that besides my drink! If you are worried about parking, don't worry! Though there is some street parking, if you drive behind the shop and reach another shop next door, Better Half, they have a large gated dirt lot behind their store! Although it says it's for their customers only, they have no way of knowing if you are going to Nate's because they don't check! Overall, I would be willing to come back and try something like a plain cafe latte, because you can't mess something up with no flavor!

Yelp
Cute and cozy coffee shop off W 5th st. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, located in an older house with limited seating inside. Ordered an iced cappuccino and I enjoyed it - one of the better ones I have had in Austin. Coffee was not burnt and did not have to wait too long. They have a variety of pastries and sandwich options that I am curious to try the next time. Outdoor seating is very cute but the day I went it was very loud because that area is also where trucks unloaded for the apartment building across the street.

Yelp
Feel like I need to put this as one star so the manager can pay attention. Went here twice and they forgot our order both times. The foods good, but if I have to sit there for 20 minutes and remind the staff to get us our food and drink every time why would I go here? Insane. The first time they apologized and gave us a $10 off coupon for the second visit. You would think that if I'm using their "I'm sorry" coupon / discount they would make sure to get it together. For the manager - The staff tried to blame it on being a "crazy morning." If that's the case and they're being overworked, then try splitting the shifts up. And all items that don't need to be reheated should be given to the customer immediately. Just copy Starbucks.

Yelp
We may have missed out on this perfect little cafe if we weren't staying within walking distance. I tried their Maple Orchard special espresso drink which was delicious and not too sweet. I also had their veggie frittata super bun sandwich that was awesome! The homemade bread was light with a little crust and the frittata was very flavorful! It's a small place but they do have seating both inside and outside.

Yelp
We dropped by Nate's Baked Goods and Coffee for a quick caffeine fix and some sweet treats, and let me tell you, it was a delightful experience. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed - just the right balance of espresso and frothy milk. But the real star of the show was the lemon cookie. It was absolutely scrumptious, with the perfect tang, texture and sweetness. It was HEAVEN. The indoor seating is a bit on the snug side, but honestly, that's not a problem because the patio is where you want to be. It's the cutest spot to chill out, especially on a nice day. Surrounded by quaint decorations and a relaxed vibe, it's the perfect place to enjoy your coffee and treats. Definitely going back to Nate's. It's a great spot for a quick coffee, a heavenly cookie, and some quality patio time. Highly recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a cozy coffee break.

Yelp
Nate's Baked Goods & Coffee is a cozy haven for delightful treats and a warm ambiance. The highlight for me was undoubtedly their super bun--it was pure yumminess wrapped in a pastry! I'd return just for another taste of that deliciousness. The service was exceptional; the staff worked tirelessly and greeted everyone with a friendly smile. However, while the coffee options were abundant, unfortunately, they didn't hit the mark for me. The latte, in particular, wasn't to my taste, bit on the burnt side. On the bright side, the ambiance was perfect for studying. The calm atmosphere and cozy corners made it a great spot to focus while indulging in a sweet treat. Overall, Nate's is a gem with delightful baked goods, friendly service, and a cozy vibe--perfect for a treat day or a study session. Just a heads-up, though, the coffee might not suit everyone's taste buds.

Yelp
This little unassuming bakery & coffee shop is tucked away in the corner nearby Better Half and Hold Out Brewing. I pretty sure the housing structure was maintained from what may have been a family residence, so it can be very easy to miss. BUT this also plays to Nate's benefit, creating a cozy, homey atmosphere. All the servers are incredibly sweet and accommodating as well. If there is one thing you come here for, it is the SuperBun Breakfast Sandwich. This sandwich is just so unbelievably well-crafted: smoked pimento cheese, a perfectly shaped egg frittata, all on a glazed bun. If you ask me, just pay the extra dollars for the smoked brisket and avocado. You seriously will not regret it. It also comes with your choice of a mild or spicy salsa on the side (get the spicy). I also recently got the oatmeal cream cookie, which was quite delicious! So the reason I give this place 4 stars is that everything else is just decent. Their lattes? good. The scones and biscuits? Also good (I think they can be a bit on the dry side). But the magic SuperBun??? This one item carries this whole bakery. Mad props to the chefs who came up with and execute this sandwich.

Yelp
Ambiance is really calm and chill. The cafe is clean and well kept. All the pastries look so delicious. They have vegan and gluten free options as well. The service was fast and the worker was very polite. I got the lavender iced latte and it was delicious.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast and coffee this morning after my physical therapy appointment as I saw they had gluten free baked goods and it was only a few minutes away. The bakery/coffee shop is very cute and there was free street parking and a parking garage available, which is always nice to find downtown! Seating is available inside and outside, with a fairly decent amount of space. I was there around 9:06 am and it was pretty crowded inside and outside, but most people seemed to "grab and go" so the space quickly cleared out. There was about a 3-4 minute wait to order, so things were moving pretty quickly. Unfortunately, while ordering went quickly, nothing else did. My order was placed at 9:09 am for a 16 oz Lavender Latte, a gluten free Cinnamon Roll, and a gluten free Whopper Muffin. My coffee was made at 9:24 and my food took about 5 more minutes for them to package. I almost though they forgot about my order because the food was already prepared and on display, so really no prep was needed. Definitely frustrating, because the crowd had already died down by this point. I did take my order to go, and the packaging they have is quite cute. I assume they only use to-go cups and containers, as I didn't see any reusable dishes (although I could be wrong). I won't lie, I was really unimpressed by the food and coffee. The cinnamon roll was decent, but not something I would go out of my way to order again. Sweet was the overwhelming flavor and the texture of the pastry itself was quite grainy. The coffee itself was quite bitter and I even questioned if it was maybe a little burnt. I'm a big fan of lavender lattes and this one was a disappointment for me and didn't pack a punch. I had the muffin with my lunch and while this one had the most potential, my muffin was completely burnt on the bottom and the entire muffin was very hard and dry. While the inside and the top of the muffin tasted amazing, it was really disappointing to realize the entire bottom of the muffin was over cooked and burnt. While I really enjoy that they offer gluten free options and have a fun (and a bit funky) aesthetic as a coffee shop, this experience was quite a bit disappointing for me. I would probably not recommend coming here if you're looking for gluten-free pastries and I'm not sure I'd come back for a coffee either.

Yelp
VERY good decaf espresso with ALL the milks (try hazelnut!) and some of my favorite grab & go pastries in town. Sweet or savory has you covered, along with sammiches for bigger appetites. My favorite is the blueberry white chocolate scone - sweet tart blueberries nestled in not-too-crumbly scone with white chocolate chunks perfectly brightens any day. In or outdoors, atmosphere is on point, all warm and cheery with baristas sending Austin local-friendly vibes. Lauren makes THE BEST frothy mocha. Might have returned the next day for a lemon crinkle (pairs exquisitely with espresso) and walked home on sunshine.

Yelp
Cute little Cafe off the main street. There's not a lot of parking specific to the cafe, but there's plenty of street parking. I had a BLY-N-A. The sandwich was very good! But the bun was phenomenal! Everything was really good! I also had a lemon crinkle cookie that was the perfect amount of sweet and lemon! I took my food to go, but the service was amazing the whole time I was there! If you're in the area, definitely stop by Nate's!
google avatar

Alejandra B.

Yelp
the food and coffee was pretty good, however we had a bad experience with the person who took our order we asked if any particular latte was sweet and they were rude saying anything is sweet if you add sweeteners to it in a passive aggressive tone. the actual location was very cozy and warm. Will possibly return

Yelp
Stopped by on the way for an appointment, they were pretty busy and I was worried about being late but my drink came out within ten minutes! Its pretty small indoors but they also have outdoor patio seats, not a lot of parking. I got the maple latte with oat milk, and it was good just like that. I usually have to ask for half sweet but this was perfect, all the flavor with none of that sugary stuff. I also asked for pastry recommendations and the gal was pretty helpful. I ended up getting the blueberry white chocolate macadamia scone and it was delicious! If I ever end up in the area I would definitely go back.

Yelp
This place always has amazing food and friendly service, definitely my go-to breakfast spot when I take trips to Austin!

Yelp
Best breakfast sandwich I had in a longgg time. Super cheesy! Coffee was OK here and the matcha was ehhh. Other than that its a super cute environment to meet a buddie for some coffee or even some study time alone. The Baked goodsssss part of this place though omgggg! FIRE. Must try if you love pastries!
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
Picked up a too good to go order from here. Got about 6 pastries, including biscuit, cinnamon cake, and a danish. The pastries were huge, you could tell they were a day old but still tasty. The shop is tiny, but cute. Has a very Austiny feel to it. It was quite busy when I went by on a Saturday afternoon.

Yelp
Update: still amazing, still my favorite coffee spot in ATX. Best iced oat latte hands down. Such a blessing it is right on my way to work so I have an excuse to come almost daily. Finally tried their money/$ muffin and it is amazing. Gf/df made from carrot, squash and zucchini with walnuts and peanut butter--the perfect morning snack, not too sweet. I got my husband the blueberry white chocolate macadamia nut scone and he said it was VERY good. He usually says everything is "not bad" but this earned a "very good". He devoured it. I also got my mom hooked on this spot. She says it's her favorite coffee and so smooth, as well as she loves the gf cinnamon rolls and muffin.

Yelp
I visited after using the TooGood2Go app and got some fresh pastries. I also got a dirty chai latte which was delicious. It was a little small but cute and the staff were super friendly. Would recommend checking this place out if your looking for a new coffee place.

Allison S.

Yelp
The cookies were very dry and crumbly. I thought they would be more of a chewy texture. at $5 a piece... definitely wouldn't get them again.

Yelp
PROS: very good coffee that they have and their prices are reasonable. Many people were there so that means it's very well liked. Their dog friendly and even offer milkbones for them CONS: there's hardly any street parking and it's cramped inside which causes a line out the door. The service was also slow OVERALL: if you're around and want good quality coffee I would come here, but if you're in a rush maybe somewhere else would be fine
google avatar

Toni S.

Yelp
Great little coffee shop for a snack or lunch. Off the beaten path but near other restaurants. Hubby got a Charlie Shein drink which was a iced coffee with Carmel and a cookie. He loved the drink and said the cookie was good too. I got a cafe latte because I have so many allergies but you can go crazy with the selections here. Stop by if you can!

Yelp
Warning don't be afraid of the club like line into the yoga studio next door. I normally take a cycling class across the street and wondered why all these people rush across the street to the alley. It's because of Nate's. Located in a cute bungalow building at the end of a side street. It's true there's no street parking and the building right next to it doesn't really have any visitor parking so your better off looking for parking on other side streets. The line to get coffee went quickly - I went on a Saturday and it was packed but it looked like a class was just starting next door so it cleared out fast. I've been lucky to have nates before catered at work so I knew their pastries would be great. I got the cinnamon roll. It's gluten free so the texture is more like a coffee cake - perfect for me. The frosting was sweet but not artificial tasting - I did taste notes of apple so maybe there is dove fruit juice that was added. I also got a latte but they have a bunch of different fruit, tea, and coffee drinks. They also have sandwiches as well. There's plenty of seating out front if you want to stare outside and a nice deck with plenty of seating out front. If I'm looking for a morning snack or drink and I'm in the area I'll be back.

Yelp
I still love it here :) I always tell myself I'll get something new but i always find myself ordering the Freddie lol My husband and I carpool to work in the morning and I get dropped to work earlier than usual and I just draw and doodle until it's time to work. Lately since it's cold I've been dropping by more often than usual Everything is consistent in my opinion; the quality of the food, drinks and friendly service. Besides the Freddie, I love the Clarksville when I forget to pack lunch. Drink wise; I still love the butter coffee, matcha and more recently the hot cocoa :) Come by! it's a cozy little spot to draw and do work at (and you can bring your dog to their little patio)

Yelp
I love this place so much. Coffee, sandwiches, cookies, salads, smoothies, and catering

Yelp
I spotted this place on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. I got a Golden Mylk Latte and Ham and Cheese biscuit. Both delicious. Especially the pastry.. absolutely want to come again. Parking isn't great but well worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped in on a Sunday morning and were able to snag a spot in the parking lot behind the building! The shop is a little small so the line was out the door, but there is still a good amount of seating and the baristas were super friendly! We got a latte, chocolate chip cookie, cherry chocolate scone, and berry pistachio muffin to share. The coffee was very yummy, but we were disappointed in the baked goods since they were all a bit dry. I would recommend the coffee and nice baristas, but probably won't come back to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Yelp
Hands down the best bakery I've tried in Austin. And it's so unassuming, just a little shack by some industrial lot. Everything looks delicious and everything I tried was. Blueberry, White Chocolate Chip & Macadamia Scone: I can see why so many Yelpers like this. It's gotta be the best scone I've ever had. Nothing dry about it. Moist and crumbly throughout with lots of oozy blueberry patches. Also, the fat-heavy white chocolate chips help the texture too. The macadamia pieces seemed a bit tiny though, but noticeable when not overshadowed by nearby blueberries. Cinnamon Roll: Finally a bakery that sells real cinnamon rolls. Not these croissant-like imitations with a little cinnamon and some frosting on top that so many places try to pass off. Here the entire thing is soft and doughy, not flaky at all. And there is so much sugar cinnamon ooze in the many wound up layers. Bonus is that they'll give you the center cinnamon roll if you ask. SuperBun with Smoked Brisket Frittata: It's Texas, why not have brisket for breakfast too? Granted, it's not like wait-in-a-long-line award winning brisket. But its pretty good for a breakfast sandwich. Perfect against the firm eggy frittata square and fluffy mini-bun. Also, love the pimento cheese on the bottom for a cheesy slightly spicy kick. Sausage Cheddar Kolache: The sausage here was like in meatball patty form rather than a link. It actually reminded me of pork dumpling filling. Hidden inside a pastry wrap with a little cheese on top. I actually found it a tad bland by itself, but it was amazing with the hot salsa so don't skip that. Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie: Huge cookie with lots of big chocolate chips. It was on the drier side. Ironically, maybe drier than their scone. But good with coffee. Lil Daddy Cookie: It felt like this cookie had everything in it and then was dipped in chocolate for good measure. I usually don't like oatmeal in my cookies, but when mixed with peanut butter and chocolate, I'm totally down.

Yelp
Cute little place for coffee and yummy baked goods in a little bungalow tucked away off 5th St. Casual and cozy atmosphere, feels like eating at a friends house. Limited indoor seating with some outdoor space when the weather is nice. Worth a pop in for your caffeine and carb fix if your in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Nate's is the BEST for a post workout treat given the location. It's very walkable with quick service. I didn't get any pastries but coffee was great
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing little place - tasty pastries and good coffee. I do wish they had more parking though!

Yelp
Holy guacamole this loaded toast and (albeit gluten free) cinnamon roll was TO DIE FOR. I don't personally know Nate but I hope that A) it's short for Nathaniel and B) he keeps bakin goods and brewin java. Absolutely electric patio for brain dumping, mind mapping, and unloading childhood traumas over tasty pastries n delishy cold brizzle

Ayanna T.

Yelp
Pretty mid. The coffee and smoothies are good but the food is alright. The cinnamon roll was really dry! But the green dream smoothie was yummy.

Yelp
This delicious breakfast and coffee stop was a short walk of my stay in Austin. The coffee is hot and tasty, the baked goodies are absolutely delicious! The egg frittata with brisket became one of my all time favorite Austin meals, and in a city known for food that is saying something!! There are a variety of gluten free options and alternatives to dairy as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Yelp
Recently discovered this place and haven't been disappointed yet! Their caprese sandwich (with prosciutto added) was delicious and the perfect sandwich for a warm day. Their smoothies and coffee are also a good choice and the atmosphere is cute and cozy, perfect for studying or just sitting and enjoying company. Only word I can think of to describe this place is delightful. I will definitely be coming back!

Adriana G.

Yelp
The people were nice and the gluten free cinnamon roll was great. They were able to fulfill my request for a decaf. I'll definitely return.

Yelp
Really charming coffee place with friendly service. Great menu with delicious coffee!

Yelp
Cute spot for a lil coffee/ snack break tucked away in a side street. The staff is so sweet and their offerings are delicious. I got the hibiscus mint tea and highly recommend it - so light and refreshing. Their baked goods are also really yummy, so hard to pick from all the selection.

Yelp
Nate's is in a cute little house downtown and we were excited to check it out! We got a vanilla cold brew with milk and a caramel iced latte for coffee, and they were both pretty good! However, they were very pricey compared to other coffee shops in Austin. Not sure I would go back for their coffee. Their pastries were great! We tried the berry danish and cinnamon biscuit, and while we enjoyed the berry danish as well, the cinnamon biscuit was the star of our time at Nate's!! It was so delicious and came with peach jelly. They have a large party and sandwich selection and I would definitely try others out as they all looked great. I wish we got the breakfast sandwich that's made with a frittata, they looked delicious and were the most reasonably priced items on the menu. Staff were nice, but we did have a couple odd experiences. The barista got distracted making our drinks and couldn't which she put caramel in, so she asked me to taste test our drinks. Not a huge deal, but it was a bit awkward. Then another woman working there walked over to my husband who was sitting on a bench next to their AC as we waited and asked him what the voltage of the AC was... my husband is not a handy kind of man and had no idea, so it was an odd interaction! Overall, pastries and probably breakfast sandwiches are worth stopping by for, they are the highlight!
google avatar

Heidi B.

Yelp
Highly recommend coming here to chill at the outdoor or indoor seating, have a tasty beverage and enjoy my favorite meal here: spinach and tomato frittata with avocado, bacon and spicy fresh salsa (Pimento cheese on top is also an option if you so desire, bread with it, and other types of frittatas). There are also TONS of baked good options (cookies, cakes, you name it), sandwiches, coffee, other types of beverages and way more I haven't tried because of stated frittata obsession. I love coming here after yoga next door and sitting outside. The people who work here are friendly, there's lots of small business charm (eclectic decor), and just an overall great experience. They do close at 4pm so plan for that. :)

Yelp
This was a nice little coffee shop and a small outside patio area which was very relaxing to be at. The coffee was great, espresso was pulled perfectly. There were not many pastries present when we went - this is more of a coffee house.
google avatar

Arianna L.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning and the line went really quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick service. My matcha latte was a bit bland but the breakfast sandwich was amazing for the price! I tried a bit of my friend's chocolate scone and it was delicious! Parking and seating within the restaurant may be tight but I would definitely come back to try their other baked goods and their coffee!
google avatar

Shradha A.

Yelp
I've been back a couple of times and have consistently had positive experiences. Best of all - I finally tried the gluten-free cinnamon roll and it truly is as amazing as everyone says! And I'm not even a big cinnamon bun person! My husband enjoyed their biscuits a lot!
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down on their muffin. It came with berries and oranges inside and the flavor was perfectly sweetened! The texture was very fluffy as well. To be honest, I never noticed this cute lil place before since it's at the corner, but I'm so glad I tried here.

Aneesha D.

Yelp
The food here is incredible. I've tried a lot so here are my recommendations: SuperBun with Smoked Brisket Frittata SuperBun with Tomato/Spinach - best breakfast/lunch sandwiches in Austin hands down Blueberry, White Chocolate Chip & Macadamia Scone - this one is so delicious, i feel like it would taste better heated up. i'd also try the chocolate/cherry scone. GF Red Velvet Cake - i ate this in one go because it was so delicious, i've never had anything like it and it was so cheap for the amount you get.

Yelp
I wish I could give Nate's a better review, but I don't think I would ever come again. It's a cute little shop, but the worker behind the counter was pretty rude when answering our questions. I ordered one of their specialty coffee drinks, and I can't remember what it's called now. It was a combination of espresso and some carbonated water, and I remember regretting my purchase almost immediately after I took a sip. My friend's iced vanilla latte was also the worst vanilla latte I've gotten in Austin so far, and Austin has no limit to coffee shops. I would not come here again. Their service and quality of coffee won't justify another visit.

Yelp
Lovely little place!! Employees were all following proper COVID precautions - wearing masks and social distancing so I felt very safe as a customer here. There is currently no dine-in allowed, but their outdoor patio is open. I was stopping by to grab a quick breakfast prior to a long drive. I ordered their medium roast brew 12 oz with a bit of half and half, and a warmed up ham and swiss danish. I thoroughly enjoyed my order and the danish was delicious. Everything on display looked so good. I am definitely coming back to try more of the other baked goods. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
I would eat here every morning if I lived closer. The best breakfast sandwiches in Austin and an incredible variety of delicious pastries and baked goods...I'm not sure how they do it all but I love you Nate's!!! Worth the wait on a busy morning.

Yelp
The coffee isn't anything spectacular but I would give my life for their gluten free cinnamon rolls! Regular sized, not too much frosting but still soft and gooey and yummy! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
My friend brought me in on a recommendation from his friend, we were both pleasantly surprised. Cute esthetic, check. Downtown parking, check. Mega friendly staff, check. The iced vanilla latte was good, the large was very large. The blueberry scone was unlike any scone I've ever had in that it wasn't hard or dry or flavorless. Instead this big, beautiful scone was bursting with blueberries and we both really enjoyed it. There's a lot of other delectable looking treats in the case,we shall return.
