How the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Became a Worldwide Event | Eater
"The annual Fourth of July hot-dog eating competition pits top competitive eaters onstage to see who can consume the most hot dogs in ten minutes, drawing enormous crowds—about 50,000 people pack the corner of Surf and Stillwell each summer—to witness what participants and fans regard as a pop-culture event; it is televised globally on ESPN, spawned a 30 for 30 installment, and is famously called “my Super Bowl” by reigning champion Joey “Jaws” Chestnut, who is currently ranked No. 1 by Major League Eating." - Eater Video
This spot delivers an experience worth perfect ratings. The menu features varying success but no failures. Workers here showed friendly service alongside cheerful responses. The menu items are excellent and the surroundings match. Nathan’s Famous Hot dog food truck satisfies me completely every visit.

My 14 year old child is on an amazing school trip from a small town. She couldn't believe it was $18 for mozzarella sticks. Okay, it's New York.. Then we see the charge was 58.00! Gave themselves a $40 tip! Overdrew her bank card. Scamming the kids?! Happened to a group of them. This needs to be reported and these people held accountable! Disgusting.

PAY ATTENTION he said that 2 cheese hot dogs were 16 $ but if you pay with cards he writes 19,36 $ and you read it in reverse. When I received the notification from my bank I asked him the reason why it's 19,36 $ and he told me that NY taxes are expensive! The hot dogs are small and the price is not justified for the quantity and quality

My daughter and her friends went to this cart and only ordered a corn dog for $10. She was charged $22 and taxes do not equal $12. She checked her card again, and they fraudulently charged her a $40 tip. This happened to her 3 friends as well. Beware. This place is doing illegal business practices. Super disgusting they would do this to some kids. A CORNDOG DOES NOT COST $62.

Don't give them your credit card! We bought one classic hotdog for 5,95$ and were charged 3 times on the credit card: 8,8,7$. Unfortunately we could only see it as we got WiFi connection.

$18.15 for a chilli fries???? This was the biggest robbery I've ever experienced at Nathan's. I even liked it, but for a few fries over $15, that's too much!!
