One of the largest and best ranking universities in Latin America, offers some interesting architecture dating back to the first half of the 19th century. It’s a very large campus, which can be freely visited including many of the buildings at the various colleges.

The UNAM is one of the best universities in Mexico and Latin America. The college grounds are really large and spacious. Quite a few of the people were walking their dogs 🐕 who mostly are without leash but nevertheless very well behaved. We also saw some native dancers. Quite a few eating stalls. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. The campus grounds are really large and we mostly limited ourselves to the main ground.

Best University in Mexico. The campus in Mexico city is UNESCO historical place. Largest university in Latin America and perhaps the most ancient too.

This university is—if not the best—one of the bests of Mexico. It is a public university but education is good. I passed by and I got nostalgic as I had not seen it sin 1980.
