Detroit has a great airport with great airport restaurants. National Coney Island had great food, and prices were not as elevated as we usually expect at airports. The place was cute with a 1950's feel, and service was very friendly. Overall, food was served quickly, definitely under 10 minutes. Greek salad and chicken and bacon salad are huge. Fries were great, and coneys were definitely solid. Good choice for Detroit!

We tried the beyond burger. It was delicious! Loved it. Fries were yummy too. An absolute treat for a vegetarians craving a good burger at the airport. Quick service, friendly staff.

Stopped in before our flight. Our server Stephanie was great. Had a nice quick breakfast and a coffee to go.

Super friendly staff with quick service! Approx. $11 for a classic coney dog, bag of regular potato chips, and a water bottle.

Came here with my two daughters and husband for a very early flight this morning. I’m a small person and it was 5am so not super hungry. Informed I was absolutely not allowed to order from the kids menu for breakfast and no a la carte options available. Forced to waste food. Terrible business model and authority loving owner, I imagine - since the server informed me about this very important rule. As if they lost money on that cheap breakfast anyway. I’ve never been turned down from ordering an item on a menu so intensely. Ridiculous and will not be back.

Always very quick on the orders. I got the chili this time and it was very good! Decent amount of meat in it, just like my mom used to make 🙂

Walked past the location on my way to board flight. Decided to give them a try. You usually can't go wrong with a hot dog. Server was nice and attentive, taking my order promptly. Food arrived promptly, as well. The Coney dog was a little disappointing. Rather bland. Fries were hot and tasty with ketchup. If I'm flying out of Detroit again, I believe I'll go on to Outback Steakhouse. Prices are about the same.

I walked up to the restaurant and there was no host / hostess present. So I went through the checkout line that I saw the only other customer in. After receiving my food, I go to sit down only in the restaurant, only to hear a female employee (who was sitting in a booth note restaurant) say “once you order takeout, you can’t sit down.” I responded “no one was here, so I ordered food in the only line available.” She replied “you can’t sit down.” This is the type of customer service that will absolutely make me avoid coming back to a restaurant. I wasn’t greeted at the host stand, and I order food, only to be rejected a seat by a random lady yelling across the restaurant… you need to do better. ***On a positive note, the food was really good, and so was my only other interaction with an employee: Tikela H. She was very pleasant and friendly.
