"Mixologist Gina Chersevani of Buffalo & Bergen added a new truck to her repertoire. The truck will be parked there on the weekends, serving up traditional and frozen drinks (including tapped cocktails). It might make a few stops at Nats stadium too. Wandering Oasis’s menu will include icy drinks like hibiscus lemon daiquiris made with Cruzan Light and 151 Rum. Citrus is a big theme here: there’s a sour citrus margarita with Sauza tequila, and orange and grapefruit crushes with Pinnacle Liquor. The eight cocktails on tap include options like a mint tea made with Jim Beam and lemon. Find Wandering Oasis at the National Harbor waterfront on Fridays from Happy Hour to midnight, and Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to midnight. Every drink on the menu is 16 ounces and costs about $9." - Adele Chapin

This was cool as hell. There are more to see there, but it was the man in the sand that caught my attention. Maryland is beautiful. And this Hatbor was awesome.

Carousel ride for $7 for unlimited number of rides. Area to sit and chill. Benches with umbrella near the carousel, just benches on the walkway n nearby area facing the water. Beautiful and calm place to hang out. Rental Water rides, scooter. Beautiful sunset

Nice place to spend the day. We had a great time. The weather was spectacular. The sights were amazing. The food was delicious. The awakening, a figurine monument of sorts displaying what looks to be a huge man waking up from a deep sleep under the sand. Lol. Crazy concept but pretty darn cool too. We paid $45 for the two of us to ride the huge ferris wheel... that price also included two free photos. The ride took about 8 mins and idk how many times we went around. We took alot of photos of the views up there and of ourselves while moving back and forth on the little seats in the shuttle compartment. My anxiety started to creep its little head out when I thought about how long it may have been since the entire ride was inspected for cracks lol. At the same moment, they stopped us and it was our turn to exit. That was close lmfao. The ferris wheel was definitely the coolest part but overall , the national harbor is a great place to spend the day.

Looking for some awesome activities for couples or whole family. You must check out the pier at National Harbor Kayak, paddle boat, and much more. The staff was wonderful and trained us well for safety while out in the water. Not costly at all.

Google
Beautiful harbor. Great location to grab a boat and go fishing or cruise. Wonderful spot to take in a great outdoor movie as well. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and parking isn't bad. Bathrooms could be cleaner and the parking for the disabled) Military should be free.

So much to do Here. We stayed at the Gaylord National Habor Resort...attended a Caribbean White Party event, did the Capital wheel and ate at a couple great restaurants..

Yelp
Visited this spot many a times! Like the atmosphere, the scenery and the viewpoints. Scintillating views during Sunset and at night time from the hotel or from boardwalk. Has a nice selection of restaurants, and stores around the area, even though they may be a bit pricey. Parking can be a hassle during busy times when the garages get wicked full! Definitely the parking fees are high, too! All in all, a decent place to drop by for a few hours to walk around at, kill some time, browse around and even ride the Ferris Wheel, if you're in the mood for it. Definitely recommend this Marina! Pretty enjoyable.

Yelp
Beautiful around the winter holiday. Snow sliding at Gaylord was fun! Must browse and buy at Mahogany Books!

Yelp
In a marine world where service, courtesy, and simple know-how are rare commodities, the National Harbor Marina stands apart. Although not a "full-service" marina with a marina store or boating services, the NH Marina, managed by Oasis Marinas, does have fuel, ice, pump-out, and direct access to the National Harbor community of restaurants and shops. The staff stands ready to assist your arrival and departure, just call on ch 16. And....of perhaps greater importance, the NH Marina staff are excellent. They know what they're doing, have a "service" mentality, and genuinely want your visit to be enjoyable and worry-free. Well done, National Harbor Marina!

Yelp
Friendly and helpful new management has really brought an extra level of excitement to the harbor marina! Extremely curious staff is very knowledgeable for transients, over nights and full timers. We now visit the marina on the weekends looking forward to chatting with the staff while experiencing their high level of service. And the locker rooms are almost as fantastic as the views! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Great during the warm months. Sucks during the winter. It's freezing and not a pleasant place to walk around. The National Harbor Marina is a great place for dining, entertainment, working out or bar hopping. You can walk or run the trails. During the summer they offer yoga which is really cool. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. All different types of cuisines and various prices, to cater to any taste bud or budget. The National Harbor also offers places to live and lodge. There are townhomes, condos and hotels. Overall, there is something here for locals and tourists. But prepared to spend money on parking as it is pricey.

Yelp
"Rob" provided outstanding service helping dock and secure my daysailer during a day trip from Alexandria, VA on 2 August. Rob is a true maritime professional and knows his stuff. Kudos!

Yelp
Finally, they have gas. New company running the Marina appears more conscientious and friendly. Best to radio them on Channel 16 to confirm gas/diesel as they may not answer the phone (would be nice if they just included a statement about fuel on their greeting)

Yelp
Unless you own a yacht, don't bring your boat here. Rude, stuck up, unprofessional management.... I brought my boat here after 5 months of communicating with management, and get an email a couple day later telling me that I have to take it somewhere else. Because of something they forgot to ask me or put in their paperwork prior to my coming here. Of course, it would have to be at my expense right? A lack of professionalism is pretty apparent. I've owned many boats at many marinas, I was most looking forward to this one because of the fun location for my family, but wish I had met the new marina manager before doing so... the previous one I spoke to was so nice and so easy to talk to, the new one is a jerk. Alan, get a new job.

Yelp
This review is for the marina only: My family and I came up to National Harbor Marina for the BBB festival Father's Day Weekend. We Buddy boated with another family and has made slip reservations about a month ago. So far, I have found the marina staff attentive, helpful, and very polite. As we approached the marina from the water, I hailed the dock master on the radio. He acknowledged, told me what slip I be in, which side I needed to tie up on, there were four dock hands waiting for us when we arrived at our assigned slip, and we were presented wit a 'National Harbor Marina' tote bag. Each day the dock master, Andrew, walks the docks to see if all is well and if we needed anything. On two occasions, I requested assistance: once for a bag of ice and another for a dock cart; both were carried out quickly, politely, and an offer for anything else. Now granted I booked a month in advance AND I am paying $125/night. So, I must say the service has been very good. I do have issue with a few things. First off, there is NO FUEL at National Harbor - hasn't been any for two years (they say), some of the electric towers for plug in are broken or damaged, some dick boards are warping, the shower/head/laundry is FAR from the dock (2.5 blocks), and there are a few boats that while not quite derelict, let's just say they are not on par with what you'd expect from a marina situated at such a wonderfully vibrant property as National Harbor, which is VERY NICE with lots to do and restaurants.

Yelp
I was tempted to write this entire review pretending to be Jamal from Tyrant, but sadly, the image selections just weren't cooperating with my vision. So instead, I'll just sum up the experience. Unlike a previous reviewer, I haven't had issues with docking boats here. If anything, the staff has been very helpful in that regard. There are a number of locations you can sail to from this location with Reagan National Airport and Nats Stadium as relatively short trips that are worth taking. Obviously, sailing is dependent on a number of factors, but just pick a good day when the sun is bright, the temps are in the 70s, the wind is easy, and the rivers aren't choppy. Sneak a bit of alcohol (no, don't... but really do) into your boat, listen to some relaxing tunes, and have an easy weekday afternoon. Now if I could only find a great place for fishing around these parts....

Yelp
Best marina ever! New company with fantastic service and employees always willing to help. Definitely worth the trip!

Yelp
THIS REVIEW ONLY RELEVANT FOR THE MARINA NOT THE ACTUAL HARBOR The staff at the marina are extremely unfriendly and if you plan on attempting to dock your boat for a few hours, it is almost impossible. Hours kept by the marina staff are till early afternoon and they really do not attempt to make accommodations for hourly transient boaters. It is such a shame but the harbor has the potential to really be a great destination for all of us boaters in the DC area. I have now tried 6 times over the past 1-2 years to get an hourly slip (and attempted to call in advanced and no one answers the phone) with total failure. In addition, boaters with regular docks at National Harbor do not take kindly to any "outsiders" and make certain you are aware of their new posted signs. They contacted their security when myself and 10 year old son tried to simply dock to buy a sandwich and leave. Security told me I needed to leave immediately and boaters indicated that I possibly represented a threat to them. I will not waist my precious fuel to get over to National Harbor. If you are a boater, plan on driving to National Harbor. I really hope things change because it has the potential to be so great, so watch out National Harbor, the wharf is coming and old town staff at the marina are always friendly and accommodating!
