I really liked the hotel’s location—it’s perfect for exploring the city, with major attractions just a short walk away. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in and my stay smooth. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The classic decor and historic feel of the hotel added to the experience, making it a unique and memorable stay. The only issue I had was with the room heater—it was always warm, and I prefer a colder room. It would have been nice to have more control over the temperature.

I was here last November and I came back. The hotel is at a superb location, right across the street from red square. And it is right on top of Metro lines 1, 2, 3 so entire Moscow is easily accessible. There are so many restaurants nearby it is so convenient. And there is also a 24 hour small supermarket around the corner. The hotel is very classic look, giving people a comfortable feel. The pool, although not very large, is clean and good enough for a swim. Breakfast room has a direct view on the red square which is fantastic.||||The hotel reception has been super nice to me, always give me an upgrade to the room for which I am greatly thankful.

Room decoration is classic. Just take photos in the interior The concierge staff was not available for 1 week , no one to replace him. I talked to the reception supervisor, Ludymilla and she was extremely rude. She did not help me in booking my trips and told me to go manage myself. Definitely a service of one star hotel

Horrible experience. One of the staff members displayed blatant racism, referring to me as « это обезьян человек » (which translates to « this is a monkey »). This disgusting incident occurred because they assumed I couldn’t understand the Russian language, though I can— I just don’t speak it fluently as I’m not a native speaker. I traveled all the way from Dubai, expecting exceptional service from a supposed 5-star hotel located just steps from the Red Square. Instead, this appalling behavior completely ruined my experience and put me in a terrible mood. I immediately reported the incident to the staff, who apologized on behalf of the individual and offered me a fruit platter. While I appreciated their attempt to make amends, I emphasized that the responsibility lay with the offending waiter. I requested that they be sanctioned or at least required to issue a face-to-face apology, but nothing came of it—even after escalating the matter to the manager the following day. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially from a hotel of this caliber. For any foreign travelers considering this hotel, I urge you to think twice. My experience shows that if you don’t fit their narrow standards, you might be subjected to the same level of disrespect and discrimination. It’s beyond disappointing that such attitudes persist in 2025. و الله أمر مؤسف

Very very very good location , staff do not communicate well because of the language you need to always repeat your request to get it done one helpful man for the concierge get every bad time request done was Mr Oleg … Historic building with an events that us not announced. Facility available like bank to exchange the foreign Mony was very good rate

I had a wonderful stay at the National Hotel. The front desk staff was friendly, and I was able to check in much earlier than the check-in time. I had booked a room with a view of the Kremlin - the room itself was quite luxuriously furnished. The breakfast area where the spread is put up is slightly congested, but the spread is quite good. The staff at the breakfast was also very attentive and courteous. Overall, I had an amazing stay.

All services are great, reception was above amazing with their support, so much love for all the staff in this hotel My room had low service coverage for my data. So using my data was a struggle. However the hotel wifi was available.

THE LOCATION ONLY THE CONCIERGE MANAGER WAS NOT AT ALL HELPFUL,DUE TO WAR,NO MOBILE SIM IS BEING ISSUED TO OTHER NATIONAL PEOPLE EXCEPT RUSSIA,BIG PROBLEM IN TAXI BOOKING AND NO HELP FORM THE MANAGER HIS BEHAVIOUR WAS RUDE REGADING PAYMENT AS I BOOKED HOTEL THROUGH MY CARD AS PAY AT HOTEL,HE ASKED FOR THE RUBLES AND DID NOT RESPOND TO MY PROBLEM, WHEN I ASKED,IF YOU CAN NOT CHARGE THE CAED DUE TO THE SANCTIONS,THEN HOW CAN YOU BLOCK THE BOOKING AGAINST CARDS THE ROOM GIVEN WAS NOT UP TO THE MARK
