Native Grill & Wings

Solid sports bar style eats and good service. It’s not the Native of my youth here in AZ, but it’s still a good place to grab a beer and some bar food. The wings are solid and the prices reasonable. Came in on a Sunday and it was surprisingly deserted. A little concerned but it was all good. The buffalo fries were a pleasant surprise and our server (flying solo on the front of the house) was friendly and on top of it. I may be slightly nostalgia biased (from all the glorious wing nights way back when), but it’s worth keeping this to place in your sports bar rotation.

The server we had was horrible. She never came around. When I ordered my salad I asked for the dressing on the side. It came out and I said where is the dressing. She said it is mixed in. There was nothing. She forgot it. We tried calling her but she was no where to be found. Never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or if we needed anything. The bar on the other hand was fun. They had games going on and it was a lot of fun to play along. The food was just ok. Nothing special. If ever in town again, will likely skip this place.

I love the wings here. I think their buffalo sauce is superior. The servers are typically really nice, but they are usually a little short staffed when we go. There are usually not many customers (which explains why they staff like they do) on Mondays when we usually go. Tuesday's are discounted wing days and they are busier and have more staff. I would love to see more customers on a regular basis because I think this is a solid restaurant.

I definitely would not recommend this location until they replace the host upfront not only are they disrespectful unattended, unprofessional, and do not do any work, but yet sit on their phones they don’t let the waitresses know that they’ve been sat, and I myself saw this first hand sitting at the bar, the bartender was approached by a waitress asking if she was ready. The bartender specifically stated she needed about 10 minutes and then the other host not only sat her one table after that it’s at her two more Tables as a customer. I feel like not only this is very unprofessional horrible service from the host, but I feel like it created a very negative atmosphere. I’m most definitely will not return to this location unless they replace the host. This is the most shocking yet uncomfortable experience that I had and I really sympathize for the bartenders last waitress running circles just to make the customers happy something should definitely be done. I really applaud Tatiana. She is what brought the amazing Energy service and made the experience all that much better if it wasn’t for her, I would never return to this location.

Went around 6pm as a party of 15. Kids and adults. Kids sat at one table asults at another. Our waitress Neveah was visibly upset that we were there! We were there for an hour and a half… & not one time did she seem like she happy or friendly! We weren’t needy… our kids weren’t rude. We ordered for them, didn’t have any special requests! The whole time we were there she did not smile not one time… it was a birthday so we had a small cake we asked for extra plates and as she was getting them she was so agressive like it was an inconvenience.. it was so bad even the kids noticed… my 10 year old wanted more ranch and was too afraid to ask because she said “she looks mean”. We didn’t feel welcome at all! At the end of this all, she sat at the bar across our table with another guest and proceeded to tell him “it’s been dead all day, then all of a sudden we got busy & im bruh come on”…. Mind you WERE THE ONLY TABLE SHES SERVING!!!! We didn’t ask to speak to a manger because the food was great & she did get us what we needed and honestly we just wanted to leave! Since we were a party of 15 auto gratuity was added… 50$ tip… 50$ tip for a crappy unfriendly attitude… if we had a choice we would have left a lot less!

Walked in, there 4 people in the restaurant. We waited at the front to be seated. A wait person came out of the kitchen three times. Looked at us. Never said hi, never acknowledged us, nothing. After about 9 minutes we walked out. Not good customer service.

Review for Native Wings – I-17 Location vs. 91st Glendale Location I’ve been to both Native Wings locations and unfortunately, my experience at the I-17 location was absolutely awful. The service was horrendous, with rude waitresses who clearly didn’t care about customer satisfaction. The food also felt rushed, like they were trying to get us in and out as fast as possible without any attention to detail. To make matters worse, the staff at I-17 were sharp and dismissive, refusing to listen to our simple requests or offer any sort of customer-friendly solutions. In stark contrast, the Native Wings on 91st and Glendale is night and day. The service is exceptional, and the manager, Ashley, goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. Her and her team genuinely care about making sure your food and experience are up to par with your standards. They take the time to prepare your wings exactly how you want them, which is something I wish I could say about the I-17 location. If you’re looking for a great experience with fantastic service, I highly recommend the 91st Glendale location over the I-17 one.

The wait for our food was pretty long. The waitress was nice and kept us informed. The pizza was good. The wings seemed to got ultra tiny. The best sauce is the spicy honey mustard and honey hot. Love the Buffalo fries.

Neveah's service was unacceptable. No hospitality whatsoever or check ins (was not busy, basically a ghost town in there) Attitude was awful.

Neveha was a terrible waitress. She was very inattentive and made my family and I feel like an inconvenience. Why work in food service if your attitude stinks and you don't even do the bare minimum to make guests feel welcomed?

The pizza was good, wings below average. Got some to go boxes and found a roaches on the boxes. The waiter told us roaches have been an issue for a while and that best her manager could do for us is give $10 off the order for our next visit. Never going back.

This Native Grill & Wings is located in some awkward, lonely spot. My crony ordered some wings which he said was not very good. I got a hangover burger with tater tots. I wish the service was more attentive as I wanted Tobasco sauce but only got it near the end of my meal. I was pleasantly surprised at how hot and fresh my burger was. Unfortunately, the actual ingredients were of average quality. There's a veritable plethora of TV's so you'll be sure to see the news or sports game wherever you're sitting. My meal cost me $19.22 (includes tax and tip). Even though there wasn't a lot of customers when I was there, all their towels were empty in the bathroom and no one refilled them the entire time I was there.

I've visited many restaurants, but Tati at this Native Grill & Wings restaurant location consistently stands out as one of the best servers I've ever encountered. She's always so attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Her timing is impeccable--refills are never late, and she always checks in at just the right moment without being intrusive. Tati delivers top-notch service every single time, and it truly enhances the dining experience. She's a super waitress, and I really appreciate her professionalism and warm attitude. It's clear she takes pride in what she does, and it makes a difference! You can't beat the many flavors of their chicken wings. Came in on a Thursday night about 830pm, place was almost empty, one server on shift. We have had a better experience at other Native locations. Service was adequate but not friendly or enjoyable, and food was okay. Their prices have gone up substantially, especially for wings (bone-in, boneless, and strippers). The club sandwich was uninspired and meager for $15, served on small pieces of dry white bread. Overall we did not really have a good experience for late night dining...dull service, dull atmosphere, dull food, $70 check.

I used to go to Native when it was up on Bell Road all the time especially for my son's birthday. Been more than a few years since I decided to try them again and the first since they changed the name. The potato skins were really good as they were not full potatoes but these kind of potato wedges with different toppings on them. The wings were reasonably well sized and all the different toppings and sauces were awesome. My personal favorite is always been the buffalo so I just stick with that. But I also decided to try the bourbon and it had a sticky sweet glaze on it which I really liked. My better half liked the honey mustard and chicken and waffle Wings best.

We came in for my daughters birthday. Service was subpar. We waited quite some time to be acknowledged by the server who was instructed by the bartender to seat us after waiting a good 10 mins. Mind you we were the only ones waiting and maybe a handful of other patrons. Place is pretty dead. Server had an attitude and literally was rarely seen in the floor. We waited over 20 mins for our drinks. When the "salad" finally came it was literally lettuce with some mozzarella cheese spread on top. Cool no big deal. No utensils to dish it out. Made do. Found not 1 but 2 hairs in the salad. Notified the staff who was apologetic but that always it. We were all turned off to the rest of the meal. I will say the only reason this got 2 stars is for the pizza and wings being half decent. This location is just trash now. The interior is not inviting and having a large section of chairs up on tables during open business hours is tacky and a turn off. Get some staff that cares even just a half an ounce and this place could be what it used to be.

Eh, been here a few times. Our go to evening bar server hasn't been aground ( msg have moved on to other ventures) but the Fri evening service has seemed to go down since. They can't get our wing order right (fried hard aka dry) w/ sauce on the side, even though that's how we asked for it. Manager did try to make it right but they charge for another side of sauce when you've ordered 10wings. Other sports wouldn't. Not sure if we will give it another try w/ the change in staff/customer service. Only time & late night hunger will tell.....

The wings were as good as I can remember and I have not been there in years. Service was great. Place was incredibly dead. I don't know how they even stay open.

Ordered through a food delivery as we wanted wings but needed options. We ordered pizza....so so good and a salad. We each ordered wings. Hubby can't stop raving about thr medium sauce. I had the Chicken and Waffle dry rub extra crispy and they were incredible! We have found our pizza and wings destination.

Food is great. Servers are awesome. Host is not the greatest, she will instruct you to wait, and proceed to serve 5+ take out orders that came in after you. Save yourself the Trouble and just go sit at the bar, support your local bartender

Well as soon as we walked in and asked for a table our server just looked annoyed she kept cutting us off the whole night she made my family feel so uncomfortable and the thing is we made everything go so smooth for her and when she dropped our check I understood why her tip was already included on to our check , the pizza was so salty overall it just wasn't the best experience the store wasn't even busy .

The food was mediocre at best. Not to mention the other people in my party received their appetizers and meal before my appetizer even made an appearance. I ordered a burger with no substitutions. I'm not sure what the hold up was, if it was the kitchen or our waitress Meg. Would not recommend this establishment and would give them zero stars if the app would allow.

Ehh kinda mix review ! Everyone I have met so far told us this is the best in Az for wings so we came! Service was good the server was kind and quick and moving all night and kept busy! But definitely hope they are hiring cause they need more staff and them ladies was non stop busy. The food wasn't bad but I've definitely had better wings & fries but then again I am not from Arizona lol the happy hour prices was not bad at all either

Excellent service and very attentive. Food was great and came right away. Good place to hang out with friends. Our waitress made sure our drinks were topped off and made sure we had everything. Will def come back.

We ordered take out from this location, and let's just say that the food was absolutely inedible. So gross. We usually order from the Tempe location, which is always good. We placed an order for 7 Buffalo fries, and each one contained fries that were *extremely* undercooked. They were cold, soggy, and had a freezer-burn taste to them. The Buffalo chicken was fine, but the fries, themselves, should have never been served. We paid close to $100 for food that was ALL tossed in the trash. When I called to let the manager know, she said there was nothing that could be done, and that we could only get a resolution if we bought the Buffalo fries back into the store. Mind you, we live 20 minutes away, and traffic was really, really heavy at the time. My husband took pictures of everything, and has e-mailed corporate about the low, disgusting quality of the foods that we were given. These Buffalo fries were not acceptable in any way, shape, or form. I wound give zero stars if I could.

If you're looking for a Native that's not busy and can get your food out quicker , go to this location! It's not that busy compared to other locations and the food is just as good! The service is great as well! If you haven't tried their native sauce , please do! It's so yummy. See you all again soon!

Was a little nervous about service based on reviews and it didn't start well. Was greeted by a very by a young man with a hickie on his neck. No smile, zero energy in fact he looked upset we came in. We then proceeded to sit our table of 5 in a booth for 4. Our server courtney quickly helped us and put us in the 6 seater booth. Courtney was amazing. She definitely made up for the bad first impression. She was attentive and made great conversation with my talkative 9 year old daughter lol Food was amazing. We ordered a bit of everything. Wings were great but small (see picture) Buffalo fried we got free with yelp check in were my favorite. Everyone loved their food. Definitely would come back again.

Why can't we give negative ratings? Native Wings on I-17 is pathetic. They state they close at 10pm, which means a customer can go there at 9:59PM, sit down and order, although they may not like it. So, my buddy got there at 9pm and they tell him the kitchen closes at 9:30pm--how is that? I got there at 9:20 and immediately ordered. He previously ordered pizza, wings and sandwich. PPizza comes out and it's wrong, sandwich isn't prepared properly, wings aren't hot, barely warm. My wings come out 20 minutes later, there's us 2 and 7 other people there. They are so quick to tell customers that they are closing but they can't get orders right. My wings come out, look good, but aren't even warm. I send them back and get new ones 15 minutes later and they aren't prepared with the sauces. I refuse them again, Now it's 10;10pm and the pizza comes out and finally my wings. Round 3, I tell the ignorant waitress that was aggravated to get boxes because we couldn't take her attitude and the huffing and puffing. Another place people shouldn't go.....THEY ARE GOING TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS SOON ANYWAY!!!! Mark my words...They are going broke!!!! And why Shitty service, shitty food, shitty service!!! Add that up and you end up with a SHIT HOLE!!!!!!!

Horrible experience.. The hostess was very polite and prompt, she said our server would be with us soon-okay cool! While still waiting for the server our hostess, brought our plates-normally our server would have done this, after we ordered our food.. Then finally our server comes around the corner and goes to the table behind us-who were seated WAAAY after us.. she didn't ask who was first.. okay cool; I'll give her another shot. Well she took their full order and served their drinks and walked right past us without saying a word. I was over it at that point and just walked out. Won't be going back to that location!

Came in for 10 cent wings today. It took for ever about 1 hr & 1/2 in line then an hour for our food. We got 10 wings medium and mozzarella sticks & fries and 2 pizzas one large with half pepperoni & sausage & the other half cheese. Also we got the house special. Everything was good. They also have specials every day during the week.

When you are doing a low carb diet, the options start to run thin sometimes...especially at restaurants for takeout type stuff. Salad? Yeah. Burgers no bun? Yeah. That gets boring though. Wings? Oh shit, I forgot about chicken wings! Incredibly tasty, and low carb! I remembered that Native had pretty good wings, and I started to browse their menu. I noticed that they had lunch specials M-F. You could get 10 wings for $7.49 after tax. Not bad, not bad at all. I have ordered online from here twice now and have been somewhat happy. The price can't be beat! That is incredibly cheap for wings (even less on Tuesdays, $.49 per wing!), but it does come with some asterisks...... *1. The wings are a little bit small. Not super tiny, but they are on the smaller end of the spectrum compared to other places. *2. The two times I ordered, the wings were somewhat luke warm. Not cold, but far from hot. I used to order at Buffalo Wild Wings a bunch, and their wings were always piping hot, fresh out of the fryer. Native's wings seem like they were mass fried, and sitting there. First time here, I took them out to my car and immediately ate them. Even then, not as hot/fresh as they could have been. Tasted pretty good, but piping hot wings would definitely be better! Service was friendly enough at the counter. She ran to the back to grab my wings, both times. They don't include napkins in the bag or wet wipes though. Lame! For $7.49, the wings are a fair deal. If I had to pay full price for them (Around $11.00), I would not come back. They are too small to justify that price. 3 Stars. A-OK.

The operator of this location decided that my group of 6 had been served "too many drinks". I was a very frequent customer (2-3 times/week) but am no longer. Completely understandable if we were making a scene or being too obnoxious but this was not this case. Two weeks prior, the operator decided to "heckle" us while enjoying our food. He claimed he was watching on the cameras as he thought we needed assistance. Decided to give this place one last try and then that is when THE OPERATOR decided to no longer serve us. There is absolutely no law on this whatsoever and will not be returning. TERRIBLE

The service was amazing! We were checked on several times! Food was awesome! Great Food! We will be back! Drinks were the best! Native Tea !!! Best long ice tea I have ever had! I don't even like Long Island ice tea. But they brought me a Native Tea by mistake it was amazing! I also had a Native Rita, it was delicious. My husband likes his sports so he was happy with all the sports playing! Golf, baseball, basketball, and of course the fights.

Love Native Wings, I come here every Friday for lunch, I sit at the bar and the mixologist ciera knows exactly what I want blue moon and a ciera shot, make sure you ask for this shot, sooo gooooddd.. love the food here, especially the strippers. Stop the dirty mind, the stripper are chicken strips, lol..

Terrible service. Didn't get all of our food. Gave us wrong drinks. Their excuse was that they were busy and they weren't. Was there for 1-1/2 hours. Never had Terrible service at Native like I did today.

Still have great wings and pizza. Nice restaurant with overall friendly staff. Solid ranch too!

Waitress was nice but sat for an hour waiting for food that never came!! Only 6 tables were occupied, so not like they were slammed! Saturday night family dinner that ended up not happening. Will never go there again!!

I always eat at this location and never have a problem. Service is fast , food is fresh and good, when I ask for flats they don't give me an issue. Always parking and great service. The major plus is there chicken is still average size and not jumbo!

We love Natives, great place for Happy Hour. We came in with 11 people, several wanting separate checks. Emily our server (I-17 & Dunlap) was fantastic, handled our orders easily. Food was great, enjoyed our beers. Will definitely be back again!

Our team eats here regularly and we're always looking for Sierra because she's friendly and attentive to our needs.

Wow! Talk about customer service. Chey and Chelsea are unstoppable! I've been here a few times, never saw the managers on the floor like I did tonight. Definitely coming back for chey's green tea shots. Way to go gals

Okay, I'm going from one star to three. During the "festivities of the world," their food seemed to get better m. Then again, maybe they're under new management. Here's the thing though. Whenever I'd attempt to dine in, my food has been messed up. The last fee times I've ordered delivery, and the food has been great. I don't get it, anyhow I'm going to let my rating grow. Like Ai stayed, they've been consistent these last few deliveries so I'm hoping they are overall improving.

Ordered pickup, waited at host stand for 5-10 min before being addressed, finally the manager came up. Assisted all other customers and ended up giving our pizza to the customers that walked in after us. Finally our pizza is coming out and the girl opened it in the lobby and stuck her face in the box saying there was the extra ranch I paid for inside... there wasn't, she lied, got home and the pizza was raw, back in the oven it went. Wings were garbage after sitting for an hour. Staff is grossly incompetent and rude, manager was utterly useless and doesn't care about the company. Honestly save your money and eat at home, you might end up cooking your own food if you order from here anyways.

Me and my girlfriend decided to go out on a little date and try something new and I can say we definitely won't be back. The food was terrible. The fries were hot but somehow soggy from the few minutes it took to get to us. We weren't a fan of the wings either, their flavors aren't very good for having wings in the name. The medium buffalo wings where tolerable but the lemon pepper wings where nasty, the flavor was over bearing and we only ate one each. There was no crispy skin it was very mushy and the breading to wing ratio was disappointing, there's basically no breading it's like they just slap sauce on there. It was the kind of meal you only eat because you're hungry and there's food infront of you. Our waitress also told us the lemon drop was a sweet drink and we decided to get that and it ended up being very bitter and we didn't even drink more than a couple sips. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings.

A pretty young woman name Kaeylin was my bartender. She knew all the stuff on the menu and drink menu and gave me and my friends great service!!!! She knows how to make a great jalapeños Margarita . She constantly check in with us to make sure we were enjoying the food and the drinks. Kaeylin, you made our night. Thank you so much!@!@@ your manager is so lucky to have a kind bartender like you!!! Keep up the good job and see you soon.

This is th the place for happy hour and on Tuesdays you get great deals on the wings !! Beer and chicken wings what a heavenly treat!

Today was fantastic. We had gear service and the food was delicious. Glad we came and we WILL be back.

I was so hungry today. I was going to eat eat but then I took 1 hour to get my food. then no sauce like what am I? a monster? I asked for ranch Buffalo, not some powder thing, and then when I mixed it with ranch, it was horrible then when I just tried it with ranch the aftertaste was trash if I could give this 0 stars I would. TRASH. We were a big table but the last person got their food after an hour and a half because they forgot about it. They said they were understaffed but it was just unacceptable. The pizza isn't very good either. The whole table was pissed. It just took forever and half the orders were wrong.

Always a good place to stop in Phoenix!! Our waitress was soooooo nice!!!! We enjoyed the social distancing tables and there was only a few people. Food came out just in time (cuz I was starving) we added fries to this order cuz we were just hungry!! love this place !!!

I don't really have any complaints...everything was good we went at around 12 and it was very dark...like I had to use my flash for pictures...but the food was hot the salad was cold and the fired zucchini was perfect there was a sauce that came with it and it was a little spicy but yummy none the less!
