"We would turn our apartment into a greenhouse if we could. We love green things and love collecting them – for this reason, Natty Garden is one of our favorite local plant and gardening shops. A laid back and cheerful corner store, Natty Garden provides a lush, varied, and thoughtfully-edited assortment of indoor and outdoor plants. So next time you are ready to decorate your home with a big leafy houseplant, stroll on over to this little Brooklyn oasis." - Aki Carpenter & Chris Huban

Everyone who works here is always so kind and knowledgeable. I always leave with all my plant questions answered. Great prices for flowers and veggies. Love coming here!

I’ve been shopping at Natty since it opened. Joel has always been honest very helpful with advice. This store is a neighborhood institution and clearly a labor of love. It gets very busy during prime planning season so plan to go a little early in the day.

I stopped by Natty Garden, off Washington Ave, this morning. I walked in and greeted the male clerk. As it was my first time stopping by this plant nursery, I decided to browse around for an indoor table plant. I wasn’t in this establishment for more than 5 minutes before the clerk came to look for me. As soon as he finds what aisle I am in, he seems shocked as I notice him. He says nothing but “Oh” to me. He didn’t ask if I needed any assistance, what I came in for if I were looking for a particular plant… nothing. What he did do was PROFILE me. (There were other people in this establishment as well) I continued to browse, but I decided why should I give an establishment my money when its employee was profiling me. I ended up following my instincts and leaving. I will not be returning here. There are plenty of other plant nurseries within this borough—shame on you, Natty Garden for hiring such an employee. Perhaps you should re-train him or find another solution where no other customer has to be profile. It is 2024, and we, as humans, must do better!

I went here to purchase tomato plants. They had a variety to choose from, plus pots, herbs, and other house plants. I purchased four cherry tomato seedlings for $2.50, which seemed like a great deal. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I really wanted to like this place, since I prefer to shop small/local rather than going to the big box stores or online retailers, but I’ve given them multiple chances and just can’t recommend it. I bought three plants here last summer, of which two were completely infested with fungus gnats that spread to my other plants. One of those plants basically withered and died within weeks. The other one pulled through…but I realized just recently that it’s not even potted correctly, they just stuck three small grow pots into a bigger one and covered them with soil, it’s ridiculous. I’ll be shopping elsewhere for my next plant, unfortunately

Apologies for the blurry photos. I really enjoyed speaking with the staff. He helped me understand the best setting for the plants I was considering. You could tell he was busy but at the same time cares about the craft, and ensuring customers leave informed.

Google
All good until you need help. I identified the trees I wanted, waited patiently for 15 minute to speak to the cashier only to be told that three other guys could help me and that they were outside. Said gentleman were nowhere to be found. It really shouldn’t be this hard to spend my own money.

Kyra Alessandrini

Google
The young man who helped me last time has great advice. You could tell he is passionate about his job and was happy to help me begin my plant mom journey (lol). If you need expert recommendations, I highly suggest this neighborhood shop. They have everything!

Yelp
Beautiful plant oasis in the heart of Brooklyn- it is exactly what you would expect- a large plot partially indoor and partially outdoors with plants of all varieties. A tad costly but very convenient. I love my new plant and it was nice they had some older plants for sale and not just new blooms.

Maddie B.

Yelp
What a beautiful plant nursery and store! I bought a few indoor plants from Natty Garden and they are thriving, I suspect because they were given such good care long before I purchased them. Everyone who works here is really kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. There's a great selection of plants, pots, and tools you might need. They also provide reporting services, local delivery, landscaping, and more. The atmosphere is really calming and I can't wait to go back soon.

Alyvia P.

Yelp
We love Natty G! Our backyard and home would be lifeless without them. They are so knowledgeable about plant life and affordable so we could fill our yard with trees. We hope they stay for a very long time!

Wenn S.

Yelp
Love this spot!!!!!! Stopped by on a very rainy day after a very disappointing trip to another plant store in a different hood which had a lackluster selection of succulents and rude customers . When we walked in our senses were awakened by great music and a lovely , pleasant aroma of incense. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman who was attentive and helpful. We found what we were looking for . Row upon row of healthy vibrant succulents ! When we were checking out, the lovely female sales assistant gave us tips on how to take care of our succulents! Lots of light and very little water! 10 stars for this awesome spot!!!! Do not listen to the negative reviews!

Kristi W.

Yelp
It's convenient if you live in the area. We like to support the local businesses so stopped in this year for our garden supplies. Several of the outdoor flowers looked like they've seen better days. Overall a decent selection, with some veggies, flowers and shrubs. They do have a large selection of pots and wooden boxes that look nice, though quite expensive. If you want to shop local, this is a pretty good option, but you'll pay for it. The potting soil was almost triple the price you'd get at your box store. We were confused that they had put some of their nice indoor plants outside mixed in and we almost ended up with something that wouldn't have made it very long but thankfully we asked before buying it.

Yelp
This tree is beautiful, smells amazing and it's taller than expected. I ordered a 4-5ft fir and I got that and more. Thanks for the speedy service!

Brian M.

Yelp
I really don't understand how this massive plant shop has only four stars! I'm from NJ, visited on a Thursday, and then went to the second location on Sunday. We bought several pots for what we thought was a good price (and we have been everywhere from the Jersey Shore up to Hudson Valley plant hunting). The place was huge and had tons to offer inside and out. This Jersey Boy is definitely coming back.

Yelp
The coolest plant nursery in the US - lets reggae maniacs set up giant sound systems after hours & turn their storage area into Skateland 1984

Yelp
In trying to furnish my ex's/kids apartment before they went on a week long vacation, I ordered some gorgeous looking plants from the nicely designed website five days ago. After three delivery dates came and went with no fulfillment, I was told that the plants are out of stock. The person/delivery person on the phone during my final attempt at finding out where my delivery was, understandably, was busy helping other customers, and taking other orders, and wasn't able to give me his undivided attention. There was no attempt at rectification, or later scheduled delivery, was just told that the order would be cancelled, and the call ended. Not the service one hopes for in a flower/garden shop, alas. That's capitalism, I guess.

Alero B.

Yelp
They have worst customer service ever. I've been twice and both times I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking for anything. I belong to a group on line and the topic of this places horrible customer service came up and the number of people who had the same complaint was amazing. Clearing this is just their MO. I'd much rather support small businesses but not if they are going to act as if basic questions are an issue and be ignored upon my entrance to their establishment.

Christine H.

Yelp
Dear Joel, Check out my last review, for the excellent services of a black business owner who is worked with several months ago. Ask yourself why your immediate response to a valid critique (that represents consistent critiques of your customer service) is cause for you to accuse me of racism and not self-reflection on your part (which is in your best interest and the best interest of your business).

Rae B.

Yelp
We came in to get a few plants about an hour before closing. When we walked in there was no one inside except for a sweet cat that we stopped to pet. The cat was the only redeeming quality of this place. A man walked in who I'm guessing was the owner, my girlfriend said hello to which he just looked at her and didn't respond. We began looking around and heard the man say "are you getting anything because I'm trying to go home" I made him repeat himself bc I couldn't believe he was talking to customers like that. After he repeated himself with an even worse attitude, I replied "well we were going to but I guess we'll come back another day?" However, I will never go back there. I understand wanting to go home but it was his tone, lack of helpfulness, and approach to the situation that made me never want to return.

Lindsey E.

Yelp
If I could give negative stars I would. This place could be so great if the owner got out of the way. The employees all work there because of their love of planes and expertise but watching them treated the way they are by the owner is truly horrifying and he doesn't treat his customers that much better. Reading the rest of the reviews, it seems it's a consensus. Hopefully he learns from it.

Chris C.

Yelp
I was referred to Natty Garden 2 on Marcus Garvey by a friend who knew I was looking to purchase two trees and said I should go there, I showed up on Sat May16th, one person working there and a shipment came in so the sales associate didn't have time to help me or answer questions so she told me to come back in a hour but I decided I would try the next day, went back on Sunday, found two Banana trees I wanted and also two pots I wanted them reported ( total of $400 spent). the same sales associated recommended the pots even though she didn't seem quite sure if the size of the pots she recommended would work with the size of the trees also wasn't sure of the delivery charge but fine I said I'll pay the delivery charge when the trees are delivered, she also wasn't knowledgeable about their delivery but said the trees would be delivered later that day or the next which would be Monday. Long story short by Tuesday when I realized i had no calls or no one showed up with the trees i called and got the runaround , called Wednesday again where the person answered the phone decided to tell me that i need to understand because they are short staff and busy and the deliveries are delayed, not really understanding that as the paying customer none of that is my concern or problem as i myself and in the service business and have my own business as well, I finally received a call at 8:30pm Thursday night the delivery was on its way, the two trees showed up at 10pm broken limbs and basically dying l wasn't even sure these were these trees I originally picked out because that's not what they looked like when i made the purchase. The owner never apologized for the bad service basically said I would get my refund the next day and still waiting to be refunded. I would never recommend Natty Garden to anyone, i understand things happen but the lack of concern from the owner and the workers that you have a dissatisfied customer was really a problem for me.as I think as fellow Jamaican i was extremely excited to support the businessI as i thought I was doing something good by supporting this business but the service was HORRIBLE and totally unprofessional. I would think in this day an age with businesses closing because of the pandemic they would be on their A Game but not so. Do not support any business that doesn't respect your patronage The photos below shows the manner in how the trees showed up at my home

Jessica H.

Yelp
business owners were friendly and able to help me pick out the right soil for my particular plants. the pots were priced really nicely. i got a heavy clay pot and saucer for $5!

Dominique H.

Yelp
Please visit Natty Garden ! It is easy to locate and they are able to meet your plant needs. The staff were friendly and I was able to find herbs that I usually can not find in my local nursery. I love that they have signs posted about plant cars and choosing a plant based off of the lighting you have.

Malka A.

Yelp
Kind of lol'ing at the reviews because you have to hand it to the owner for at least consistent shitty customer service. Kind of weird to be pissy when you're running a nursery? Felt like he was doing us a favor by selling the plant. Nice plant, though.

Christine O.

Yelp
Such a great neighborhood spot for plants. The staff was very helpful in picking out planks. Pretty decent selection of indoor & outdoor plants & fairly priced. Check them out!

Chelsea W.

Yelp
The is place is great, I've gotten my Monstera, succulents, fiddle leaf, and birds of paradise from there. They're super friendly and helpful. I'm a new plant mom and they answered my questions and recommended some soil for reporting.

Nicholas T.

Yelp
I was super excited about this place. Seemed perfect for filling out our greenhouse and back garden area in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, they're sorely disorganized. They can't get out of their own way. They don't describe their products properly and they won't work with you if something isn't right. They don't have consistent policies and they send mixed signals. I was more than ready to spend a lot of money with Natty Garden. And as much as it pains me to say so, I will have to take that money out of the neighborhood and to a more ethical, reliable nursery. This place needs to get their act together or they'll be replaced.

Brittany K.

Yelp
Things have changed a lot from years ago, interesting lol but its a great spot to find whatever you need. They're super friendly and helpful. highly recommend

Natalie Venus De H.

Yelp
I usually love this place, Joelle is amazing. He spends time with me, even offers to repot my plants. He just gives great customer service. Today sucked. I own a local business and it's really hard to get away to run errands for it. Usually the way it works is you wait in line and when it's your turn they help you. Today the customer service really lacked. I had a very specific errand to run, very specific questions, and about $1000 to spend on plants and pots for my shop. I came on a Monday on purpose, it was slow, and I still was met with "if you don't see it we don't have it, we don't order specific things, I don't know if that's even for sale, and can you wait till I'm finished" but she was never finished, I waited for 45 min. Sucks to feel invisible in a room of 3 people. The good news is they do you have a beautiful selection of pots... It's really hard to find a ceramic pots with matching saucers!

Carter B.

Yelp
Great selection, great prices, great people. Come here on a almost daily basis at this point lol. Got a beautiful birds of paradise and ravens Zz here for fair prices and lots of variety of pots and soil etc.

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Worst customer service ever!!!! Sold me a diseased plant and wouldn't take it back, said it was too bad for me that I bought a diseased plant. They said once the plant leaves their premises, it's over. I had been going there for years, you'd think they would believe me but instead they insulted me. I will never buy anything from there again.

Em H.

Yelp
Great neighborhood garden shop/nursery with a laid back vibe and decent selection for urban gardeners. Good find!

Alexandra S.

Yelp
I've been here quite a few times since it is close to my apartment and any time I ask a question I'm greeted with a non-answer or blank stare. I have to say this week takes the cake. I went to Natty Garden on Friday afternoon and bought a few herbs and pots. Today I look at my credit card statement and they charged me over $1,000!! The charge was supposed to be $103. I called to explain the situation and the man on the phone couldn't give less of a shit. He kept saying "I wasn't there" and "come into the shop." No apology, no reassuring me that this will be worked out. Pretty big mistake if you ask me, but hey things happen and if the salesperson is nice about it, everything could've gone smoothly. Not the case. I stopped by after work and a very nice sales guy couldn't believe the mistake, but had to call the owner as he wasn't authorized to do returns. I then dealt with the owner who was the same man on the phone. I waited patiently for 30 min while he rang up other customers and went through his pile of old receipts trying to find mine. Long story short he was completely rude, gave no apology and was so spacey. I was visibly upset and he put the blame on me and that he "can't dictate how a person feels" (???). All I said was that he should learn to be respectful and nice to his customers. His response was "what do you want me to do." Simple, be a nice person. It's called customer service. Unbelievable. After 45 min I got my money back. Never again...

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
I love Natty Garden! They have a great selection of plants and reasonable prices. Sometimes I feel that the staff isn't as knowledgeable as they could be, but they're friendly and helpful enough. It seems like their inventory of indoor plants does vary depending on when you go (sometimes they have a lot available and other times they've all been picked over), but I'm usually able to find a new plant that I like. I've gotten tons of plants from Natty Garden that are unique and healthy!

Leah R.

Yelp
Plants are great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. But if the owner made me feel completely incompetent for being a plant novice so I will not be back.

Greg T.

Yelp
Don't go here. This is the worst nursery / plant store I've been to in years. I walked around the store and outside for 20 minutes and none of the 3 employees even acknowledged I was there, let alone asked if I needed help. The plant selection is meager, and a lot of the plants look like they've been sitting there, unsold, for a long time. The leaves are bruised and covered in dust. Plants were overpriced. For example, an acreca palm is $70 at Natty but a similar one is $40 at my neighborhood hardware store.

Mike W.

Yelp
Love this store! There is wonderful information all over the store about plant care, lighting conditions, etc. The selection of plants changes around which is nice. The pottery selection is incredible too. Everyone in the store has been incredibly helpful every time I've been in. From basic questions, to helping me figure out what to do with pests, and giving helpful tips. They also always bag up the plants carefully for you, which helps me keep them safe on the bus.

Doug S.

Yelp
This is by far the worst gardening center I have ever stepped foot in. My heart breaks for the employees who have to work for this disgustingly rude owner. He treats his employees like dogsh*t and has little respect for the customers who come in and ask honest questions about plants. I had my heart set on a specific plant that was on the shelf, but the helpers were petrified to quote a price (the label had rubbed off). I waited 45 minutes for the owner to show up. When the owner showed up he lied and told me he didn't work there and had no idea about the prices of the plants. I pressured him for an answer and finally he barked at me for asking the price and said he wouldn't sell it to me. In addition, I saw customers waiting forever to pay for their purchases while the employees were watering. Finally someone spoke up as the line grew longer and the employee begrudgingly rang the customers purchase. I don't like to complain about small businesses, but this guy is absolutely the worst. Rude, condescending, and could care less about his customers. Not to mention his merchandise is RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. There are so many other nice people in the neighborhood who sell plants and actually care enough about their customers. Natty is Nasty.

Ravan A.

Yelp
Thank you to Riv and Natty Garden! The music is great, the plant & pot selections are awesome, and the folks are genuinely kind. I came in with 4 plants for re-potting and 1 sick plant who needed new soil. I am new to the #plantmom life, so visiting a plant shop could have been really intimidating. Riv was patient, explained how to select new pots, and took care of all my plant babies! I'll definitely be back in the future. Do not be dismayed by negative reviews. We are in the midst of a global pandemic; we are all plugging along one day at a time. A little bit of grace goes a long way.

Semi T.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the customer service here is terrible the last and only three times I've been here. The time before that the guy was treating me and my boyfriend like we were stupid and being extremely rude to us. Like we were bothering him and we didn't do anything wrong. The woman who works here has a serious chip on her shoulder for no reason, too. I honestly don't get it. I want to support this place, but I can't if I'm going to be treated like trash which is a shame since I live so close.

grace p.

Yelp
I really, really wanted to like this place, but 3 years in a row having bought subpar annuals that had to be replaced within 2 weeks of transplanting, plus dismissive and inattentive staff has made it impossible to like. If a small nursery is charging more for plants than a big box store like Lowe's or Home Depot (which is understandable and expected), the plants should be of better quality and accompanied by better service. Even Lowe's & Home Depot refund/replace dying plants and their staff is generally very helpful. I've been a gardener for 25+ years so I know it's not me.

Cindy R.

Yelp
I am all about supporting small business especially during these times ! I was really excited To come and browse . After some time on a line , I was able to go inside and sadly , not too many options . Most of the plants that were there were pretty much wilted , limp, and dry . I felt bad and decided to buy a plant as a rescue project ( yes it was that bad ). When I went to go pay, there was a lady in front of me who had purchased what she thought was a decorative dry plant to which the worker told her it was supposed to be an ivy that just got really dry and gave her a discount because he said "there's no hope for it." Same feedback I got with my plant which I told him I think I can figure it out when I got home . When I was leaving , this lady was getting her plant ( a pothos ) repotted and I would say the worker was not teasing the roots. He was literally ripping it out . The customer stopped him half way and told him it was her intention to leave with a full plant and not a torn up he was making it out to be. He was having a really crappy day it seems because any potential a Plant anyone was buying he was telling them "I'm not sure why but it's not looking good and there's no hope for your plant." A little discouraging . But nonetheless , it's a cool location and space . I just wouldn't commit to a fiddle leaf or anything from here .

Alton K.

Yelp
I've lived a 5 minute walk away from this Nursery for 9 years, but it wasn't until 2017 that I unwittingly jumped on the Pantone "Greenery" bandwagon and became a full fledge 'Plant Addict'. Oh my, 28 plants later I'm so lucky to have easy access to this place for those times I'm out of soil or need a quick plant fix. One thing that adds to the charm that's probably caused the low number of stars is their 'Soup Nazi' customer service. I call it Soup Nazi because if they are kind enough to share their plant knowledge, answer your naive questions that all new plant enthusiasts are guilty of, you'd better be thankful and so gracious toward them if you want to continue getting good service. Imagine being in their shoes having to teach every random customer how to have a green thumb? It's impossible and I'm sure it's irritating! So, as for me, when I've exceeded my time limit of questioning and have clearly gotten on someone's nerves I know when it's time to get what I came for, show thanks and go! Don't be annoying and you'll be serviced in a manner that you deserve. I've worked big box retail stores for over a decade, I'll live vicariously through them. How I wish I could treat each individual customer in the manner that they deserve without losing my job. If you visit this place enough you'll get it and be welcomed back again and again. Oh, I didn't even mention the selection is only second to the Flower District. The plants are so healthy, exotic and beautiful. I'm so lucky to be able to call them my neighbors! If you visit, bgood to them!!

Maddy F.

Yelp
This is one of my fave spots in BK! It feels like a mini oasis in the middle of the city. Very beautiful selection of plants and other materials. The best part of Natty Garden is the staff! They know and love all things plants and are always willing and able to help. Riv (at Prospect Heights location) is dope-- super knowledgable and kind. They really know and care about plants as well as helping you find what you're looking for. Friendly and sweet spot with awesome staff, what more can you ask for :)

Melissa W.

Yelp
Completely unprofessional - go somewhere else!! I went out of my way to support a local shop owner and then I get treated terribly. I never write reviews, so please read below: I came to the shop on a Monday and purchased 3 bags of soil, 1 bag of mulch, and a planter. I requested a delivery as I am a little over a mile away. Paid for the delivery ($10) The delivery shows up 3 hours late, fine no big deal, but then it was missing a bag of soil. The delivery guy said he'll drop it off tomorrow- ok no big deal. I get no response the next day, so call the shop the following day. The woman who picked up the phone said she'd get in contact with the guy and it will be delivered tonight (Wednesday) OR I could come pick it up (huh, no?) Thursday passes... Friday I call the shop again. This different woman (Brea?) who is more helpful and apologizes and said the same thing that it'll be delivered this evening and again suggests that I could just come and pick it up (what? no.. I paid for a delivery so that I don't need to lug a huge bag of soil for a mile) Friday night comes and goes. I get a text from the delivery guy saying that he'd forgotten to stop by on his way home and he'd deliver it 11am Saturday - OK great. at 9:30am I text him to see if he's able to come closer to noon- no response. Text again at 11:30am to check in "Hey man, just checking in to see if you're still planning on stopping by in a bit?" and then receive a reply: "Don't hey man me" and "please stop being rude for one bag of soil". Now, I'm a very patient person, and I feel like anyone else might've been less patient than me in this situation. I ordered something and paid for it on Monday, it is now Saturday and they have the nerve to get upset at ME for their mistake? oh no, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I will not be giving my business to them any longer and will make sure to tell everyone of this experience. The number they use for deliveries etc. goes through some sort of forwarding service, and at one point in the texts I was told I was speaking with the owner: EDIT: Soil delivery was resolved with a cab delivering the soil only after I brought up money to the owner. There was a heated discussion over the phone saying I was 'freaking out' over just one bag of soil. Yes, it's a bag of soil - that's not the point. The point is I paid money for something (over $100 in goods total) and did not receive it nor was the issue attempted to be resolved. I thanked the owner (even after being poorly treated) for resolving this, to which he replied "Work on your personality."

Suki C.

Yelp
Truly the worst customer service ever from the OWNER. I've been twice and will not return. When we asked questions about planting flowers and sunlight etc (we were literally beginners at this) we barely got a response let alone an acknowledgement. Had to ask more than 3 times for him to finally answer me. He would walk away when we started to ask something else, look down, and speak under his breath so that we couldn't even hear it. It sounds too ridiculous for this to be true but low and behold read all the other comments as well about the service. Seriously appalled the establishment stays open.

Deirdre L.

Yelp
This place is great. The owner offered some great advice on how to take care of the plants that we had questions about. Would come back here for all my plant concerns!

S R.

Yelp
OMG, this is just where I go splash out when I have a tiny bit of disposable income... Love the eccentric wise Australian lady who runs it (or mans the counter on occasion). Have bought five plants from them and am sure to return for more.

Fred G.

Yelp
This place has poor customer service. I dropped by one day and the lady working didn't turn around to talk to me.

Suzy E.

Yelp
Plants of high quality, but I was disappointed not to see a variety of colors of marigolds available

Monifa C.

Yelp
Great location with great plants and prices! I called around because I'm new to gardening and didn't want to spend too much money in case i end up being horrible at it. A couple of places the hostas started at $25 !! I called this place ten bucks! What a steal, i thought they were mistaken, i went the next day and yup! Ten. Bucks for GORGEOUS PLANTS! I took off one star because as i mentioned I'm a newbie and i didn't find the staff to be very helpful The first time i stopped by there was a girl who was sweet as pie and helped me at her very best but like i asked for day lilies she said they didn't carry them and after strolling through i found them right next to where she was standing but to her credit she did recommend a different plant. When i came back later that day there was a man and he just seemed ...stressed but he did help me to my car with the mulch and fertilizer and put down some paper to not dirty my car. It really wasn't a big deal vibe and layout of the place was so welcoming and chill i was able to stroll and look at plants while pushing my stroller. If they decided to start selling beverages I'd definitely come with a book lol . The only reason i mentioned this was because of a couple other posts giving 1 star and i just feel like they're being so dramatic

Yelp
I've been to Natty Garden a few times because it's close to where I live and I just got my first apartment. I don't have an issue with the guy with the dreads like other people - he has aways been extremely nice and helpful to me. No, it's the woman with the seemingly British accent. Multiple times now she's been very rude to me when I ask a question. Today, for example, I asked if a plant pot was the right size for a specific plant. She laughed at me and said, "You're asking if THIS pot, would fit THAT plant??" As if this were common sense. No, it's not common sense, otherwise I wouldn't have asked. Sorry I don't work at Natty Garden and know everything about correct pot size. Another customer, who was a lot nicer, ended up helping me. Every single time I've been here I have had a question and she rolls her eyes or gives some sort of attitude. I'm sick of it. I don't care if you think my question is obvious to you. Don't work here if you can't handle simple questions from novice customers. Do NOT belittle me or make me feel stupid in front of people (or at all). It's patronizing things like this that make me never want to come here again.

Yelp
So I had an interesting run in at the Natty Garden. I walked in to very loud and vulgar music laced with curse words and racial slurs. I just wanted a pot for my succulent but instead I was bombarded with "n*** this" and "n*** that" and "I'm going to f*** the babysitter". Who plays that type of music in a business? I can't tell you about their plants or anything related to their ability to provide quality indoor or outdoor plants or planting materials because I ran out of the place.

Yelp
I really want to love this place. It is a small business with so much potential but unfortunately the staff just do not seem to care. I have been going there for the last 8 years. I live down the block. They have a good selection of soils and plants. They play great music. But I just can't believe how little they want to help you find stuff or even worse help you load anything up. I bought 17 cubic feet of soil today in the rain and one of the guys starting to help w 2-3 bags and then said the cart is there man and just left... and this is just one of many instances. They weren't that busy. I don't get it. Over $200 spent and he couldn't help me put it in my car. B et
