My partner and I had a wonderful experience. The juice was potent, and the service was delightful. The vibes and the atmosphere are good. They have outdoor seating. You can tell the people that make the food have high vibrations.

This is our go-to smoothie spot! Especially after an intense workout, they give us just what we need to refuel. The lentil patties are also a must have. They have a wide assortment of pastries and ample seating both indoor and outdoor.

They serve all vegan food with healthy smoothies. We walked up from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, had lunch, and then headed to the Brooklyn Museum. The black bean burger and side of lasagna were tasty but salty. The dining room was spotless, as was the outside seating in the back.

I got a large kale Mary smoothie for $10.50, $12 with tax/tip. I asked the cashier what they recommended for a base and they said apple juice. That was a good choice because it diluted the kale/spinach taste and kept the smoothie balanced. I’m extremely happy with this smoothie for its fruity and healthy taste. I can’t speak on their food - might add to this review later. But the smoothie was excellent!

This place is a gem if you’re looking for healthy yet comforting food or really refreshing smoothies. The people who work here are really sweet and happy to give taste tests or customize your order. The flavors are off the chain, especially the curry chicken and citrus ribs.

4.5 stars! Wow such a good vegan place! I only tried the fish patty and the jerk chicken meal but both were delicious and a good value (~$4 for patty and $13 for meal when ordered through Grubhub)! I LOVED the fish patty, didn't taste like fish at all, but more mimicked the consistency of a fish curry. So flaky, so flavorful. The jerk chicken meal was good too, the "chicken" was flavorful although you can definitely tell the meat has a soy flavor. It was a good amount of food for a small. I would definitely come back and try the smoothies and pastries!

VEGAN I had the vegan curry chicken and the vegan citrus spare ribs with rice and peas, mixed veggies and plantain. This meal so yummy. I loved them both but I think I'm leaning more towards the vegan curry chicken. The rice and veggies were so delicious as well. Most of all the guy at the counter was soooo pleasant and even let us "newbies" try some before buying. Welcoming atmosphere and nice place to sit in the back.

I am convinced that Natural Blend is the friendliest place in Brooklyn. I've been to 3 of the 4 locations and each time has always been a positive experience. They really live their ethos of "crafting authentic food infused with love, goodness, and nothing else at this place." This is for the Prospect Heights location because it's the one I regularly go to. I love their patties, especially the callaloo; the lentils and the peas are a close second. Their lunch and dinner plates are tasty; I've tried the pepper steak and the jerk chicken. The medium size is a good portion and will more than feed you. Also don't miss out on their bread and pastries. There's much more to explore here--the smoothies, the stews, the curry chik'n, for my Caribbean cravings. My only complaint is that Natural Blend uses plastic bags and utensils. Just make sure to request without and bring your own bags.

A friend and I found ourselves in the neighborhood and after a long day of running errands and shopping we decided to give these vegan jamaican patties a try. I must say as a carnivore I wasn't too thrilled when my friend dragged me here. How can a vegan jamaican patty possibly be satisfying? Boy, was I wrong! The crust of the patties is flaky, crispy, buttery with soo many layers. Other than the extreme edges of the patty, the crust is uniformly succulent and a appropriately balanced bite throughout the patty. Filling to crust ratio is absolutely perfect, every bite was uniform and well balanced. The filling seasonings were absolutely on point, it tastes like really smooth and creamy meat - pure umami. If you are on the fence about trying a vegan jamaican patty, I implore you to please give this place a shot!

Excellent vegan food and such friendly service! The small platters were generous enough that I had leftovers to bring home, and everything was delicious, especially the stewed chicken, lasagna, and callaloo patty. The backyard seating was charming and the person who helped us was welcoming and helpful. A great place to swing by after the Botanical Gardens/Brooklyn Museum (or anytime)!

This place is one of the most beautiful vibes ever! So intimate, friendly, and unforgettable. Maryse is such a joy. I got an amazing vegan mushroom sandwich I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Crown Heights!

it's funny how other people in our diaspora treat african americans but let me not go there , TERRIBLE service & HORRIBLE customer service, would never spend my dollar at this location ever again. because they don't care about me they clearly just want my dollar. from the disgusting attitude stamped on their emotionless face and uncharismatic body language and posture. when i first arrived to the counter the young lady completely ignored me & every time she acting like i had her attention to place my order, she would turn her head to speak to another co worker. I was very patient. then had the nerve to catch an attitude when i bring it to her attention. like .... you need ME . im spending my dollar with you when i can go else where. she prepared my FOOD WITHOUT GLOVES, & when I brought it to her attention she brushed it off with a fake apology. as she was looking stupid stick as if she didn't know what food safety was. so was dealing with money and still handling foods transporting germs from outside sources into the food they're serving. the restaurant of course looks bland and un inviting & looked like the floors hadn't been mopped in days. * not saying they don't clean their establishment, they probably do but I could t tell upon my very first first." as an american of african decent I could've went to another african american resturant when I know my dollar will be valued and appreciated. if you want to be treated poorly then go here, if you value you morality don't go here at all by the way the food was (3/10) the food was dry and can tell it's been sitting in one place all day. AND I STILL LEFT A TIP WHEN I DIDNT HAVE TO.

The food is amazing , full of flavor and different options . I got a large (vegan) curry chicken that came with rice with peas and a salad , the portion is definitely worth the price and could be shared between two people easily . I also got a callaloo patty which was amazing , not greasy or doughy as other patties I have tried , it felt light . The juices available are also fresh and taste amazing I recommend the sorrel juice . The loafs are also fresh and amazing tasting. Service was fast and easy , it's also a clean and friendly place . I will be back again

I had a little time before an event I was heading to and I was a little hungry. So I recognized the name of the place because the original location is in my own neighborhood. This location is much brighter and seems bigger due to it's newer updated features from the original. The staff is friendly but not too friendly, letting me know the food is gonna be fire, lol. They were out of chicken patties, which is a good sign too. She suggeste a fish pattie (my 2nd choice) and I went ahead with that period ringing in at a little under $4, I was impressed that it had the markings of an old school Jamaican patty straight from the island. Not too thick or crusty, the savory crust complimented the soy fish inside perfectly. I'm almost sad I didn't get an extra to go, but I wanted to leave something for someone else because they were almost all gone too. I know I'll snag a few next time I'm on Washington.

Great service, friendly staff. The food that I have had is delicious: citrus ribs, ital stew, quinoa, vegetables, plantain, breadfruit, spelt dumplings, and the non-dairy great nut "ice cream". Highly recommend.

Amazing spot that I wish I lived closer to - really nice kind people who work here, super patient and helpful. Selection is great and most important TASTES great. Super fresh smoothies. Patties are on point. Backyard patio is cute with wood tones and fairy lights. Usually there's a small line on weekends but it goes fast.

When someone needs a bottle of CBD delivered to Brooklyn and you haven't been to @natural.blend.bedsty in a bit, you jump right in the whip and throw on some Biggie. Love this spot. Do you even know what a Jamaican pattie is if not from NY. They are typically beef but this place does all diff vegan ones. The lentil and the pumpkin are ridic. Ital (Rastafarian) stew. Heavy on the Turneric. Sea Moss Smoothie for the ride home. First time drinking sea moss despite having it in my house a bunch of times. Think it's about time to jump on the sea moss bandwagon. And a pumpkin crunch loaf for the night time.

My roommate comes here often but my experience is bad! I came for the sea moss drink they have in their fridge and she said they were out i asked when they would have more and she just cut me off and said she doesn't know... okayyy well i walked all the way here have to get something so i got the vegan Mac and cheese and it looks horrible. I'm so confused on what this is ? See photo below. I did order the kale Mary smoothie with sea moss. It was good a little expensive for a small $7.50 but it wasn't bad. I would only come back for their sea moss drinks which i will post below as well. Their attitudes here are bipolar first their rude then their nice.

Stop serving young green breadfruit as a vegan alternative. Maybe foreigners dont know but anyone growing up in Jamaica knows you CANNOT roast young green breadfruit, its gonna be hard to chew in most areas, unappetizing and if green may hurt some people's stomach. Breadfruit not fit for roasting is usually boiled in soups to make it more palatable.. STOP roasting green unfit breadfruit. STOP IT! my wife brought home ackee & saltfish with roast breadfruit, 1st time buying here, not impressed. Btw u can only stretch a can of ackee so far, a dash of ackee & saltfish is NOT a serving.

Tasty, affordable vegan Caribbean food just down the street from Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and Prospect Park. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fast service. Nice plants in the back. They were out of a few dishes when we went mid-afternoon on a weekend.

Definitely a no frills establishment but I had a good experience. I went in for a smoothie and they have a big menu but I ended up customizing my own, which they had no issue with. I got banana, mango, berries, acai berry with almond milk + agave. It was great and only $6.50 I believe. Love that! Also got a chickpea patty which was yummy. Would recommend!

Had a wonderful experience after stumbling upon this spot after the park. I walked in to a bustling line and yes it was worth the short wait! I got an original açaí bowl, which was made fresh to order. It was slightly tart, had the perfect consistency and the perfect ratio of açaí to toppings. The staff was friendly, the bowl was fairly priced (& a generous portion!!) with a nice casual backyard. I will definitely be back to try some of the rest of the menu--especially those veggie patties!

Sheesh. I love this place. I've been going here over the years and the food is always bomb. Small, no frills space but love flows from the food and staff. This is the original of the two locations and as much as I adore the updated look and offerings of the second location in Bedstuy, in my food obsessed opinion, the flavor at this location dominates. They also offer vegan lasagna which is magnificent. Although, its a case where looks can be deceiving. It falls apart and looks a bit messy, but it's amazing!! The veggie chicken pattie is also excellent. Just writing this is making me want to brave this wintry, fake spring day to get some!

Excellent food. Fresh and bursting with flavor. I didn't even realize this was a vegan place until I took my first few bites. It was so damn good! Portions are plentiful and prices are great. My smoothie was excellent also. So lucky to live close to this place.

I didn't know what dish to try when I walked in here. In the past, all I used to get were veggie patties and such. Today, I asked the server to give me a medium size dish that he thinks is good. Since I was parked by a fire hydrant, I took my dish with me and sat in the car as I proceeded to chow down. On first bite, my taste buds erupted in wonderment. My brain was like 'this is delicious'. I wondered to myself what the heck am I eating? I couldn't stopped. It was too addictive. After I ate everything on my plate, I snuck out my car and back into Natural Blend restaurant and asked the server what dish I ate. He said it was the Curry 'chicken'. Since then I've been back 3 times and had another curry chicken dish, pepper 'steak' which was good. The lasagna was old out every time I got there. So in gist, the food here is great. I'm sure this will be a good spot to visit during spring, summer and fall if you want to sit outside somewhere to eat, since there's limited seating inside. New fan here. Prices range from $8, $9, $11, $15, depending on size of dish and type of meal. Peace!!

Food was good. However I purchased a ginger beer and it was Horrible.. so much ginger i couldn't even drink it. Would definitely pass on the drink my next visit.

My neighborhood spot since we moved in nearby 12 years ago. Right now I am drinking an amazing cocktail I made with Natural Blends home brewed ginger beer- it has so much kick! Also delicious on its own. Love the smoothies, the green juice is my go to detox drink and the vegan patties are all delicious. Soups will warm your heart on a chilly day. Thank you people !

I cannot wait till Natural Blends, expands to Harlem. I just want it to flourish within our communities. This gem of a place is an ESSENTIAL establishment, a must. A necessity. I was introduced by a friend and I've never looked back. I usually buy the potent ginger beer that I loveee. Always good to dilute it a bit but i love it just like that. I also get the the lentil patties and i really was transported (I spoke to our ancestors) and came back rejuvenated and ready to take on the day. I'm just saying i picture this spot at a beach sipping coconut water somewhere. I absolutely love the professionalism and the care this establishment has been able to provide to our communities. Everyone is so friendly and payment is so seamless. I love the health concept as a lifestyle. This ain't no trend though, the Caribbean been about the sea moss wave. Show loveeeee

The largest portion açaí bowl for $10- and it was delicious. Lots of seating in the back, outdoor patio as well.

I've been getting smoothies and açaí bowls here for years, and I'm always pleased with the taste and freshness in the food here. They also have a good selection of drinks like coconut water, that good Martinelli's apple juice, etc. in the back and I stock up from there sometimes. They've got good loaves like a sweet coconut bread, zucchini bread, etc. The service is always friendly although both guys yesterday consistently wore their masks under their noses which made me feel a little uncomfortable. I asked one to pull it up and he did but by the time my bowl was done it was back under the nose again. So I'd ask to please just be conscious of the customers and wear masks correctly. Otherwise, love this spot and will continue to come here. They've got hand sanitizer all over the place too which is great.

My husband and I love this place. We visited one of their locations a few years ago when we were looking for a place that served vegan Caribbean food. This place did not disappoint. There are several locations. They have hot food ready as well as smoothies, juices , sorrell , sea moss. I love that it's a great place for takeout. I definitely recommend the patties ,sorrell and a lunch special and peanut punch. They also have some sweet vegan desserts that are worth a try. Great place to grab some food and I also think anyone who isn't vegan will enjoy the food as well.

Great place to get some freshly made juice. They do it right there while you wait and it is fantastic. Lots of Vegan options in the bakery as well. Tried the lemon cake, it was delicious. If you live around this area, support this place, they deserve it.

I love West Indian cuisine and plant based food, so Natural Blend has been on my checklist of spots to hit up for awhile. Unfortunately, it was a "blend" of disappointment and unmet expectations with possibilities and flashes of goodness. That's not the smoothie I was looking for. The Irish Moss smoothie was a chalky, bland purple mess. My wife was disappointed by the tropical blend smoothie though I thought it was okay. The lo mein was spaghetti noodles with like ... canned vegetables, soy chicken and a flavoring ... not the type of low mein you expect if you have any acquaintance with Chinese food. Next we tried the vegan "lentil" patty. They actually gave us the chicken patty instead. Bad look giving vegans meat patties. The patty had a flaky crust so it was disappointing that we couldn't enjoy it. Finally, we sampled the vegan blueberry muffin, which was saved by my wife heating it and putting a pat of Earth Balance vegan butter on it. It didn't really taste like blueberry and would have been to dry without the added butter. I wanted to like this place, but won't be going out of my way to return.

Slightly flaky dough on the outside, deliciously chewy on the inside. They achieve a perfect balance of crisp and doughy. They have all kinds, but the chicken (don't worry, still vegan) is amazing. All I can say is if you need a snack in the middle of the day- let's be real, anytime of the day (#teamsnackallday) grab one or two! At three dollars each you can't NOT get some. They've got great smoothies as well, especially the ones with sea moss. If you're looking to keep it light, try their famous Ital soup. Ice cream and pastries are there too for the sweet tooth! There's usually a line because it's a popular neighborhood spot, but it's worth a short wait. Perfect place to grab lunch to go and bask in the sun at Prospect Park. There isn't really place to sit, so takeaway is best.

Natural Blend is a very popular Caribbean vegan / vegetarian restaurant which is a staple for fresh pressed and blended juices, tasty vegan meals, vegan patties, and baked goods. I often get the small vegan citrus spareribs & jerk chicken combo. It's enough food, reasonably priced, and very tasty. My picky son even loves the vegan jerk chicken. I also love the akee & salt fish (real fish) with sautéed callaloo and roasted breadfruit so I often grab that on weekend mornings when I don't feel like cooking. The mixed grain porridge is also delish. Yumm!

I just ordered breakfast at 9:15 this morning. I ordered a large ackee and salt fish breakfast and this is what they send me? That's so disrespectful. Never again will I order from them. Twenty bucks for that??

Around the neighborhood and went back for some veggan bread and ice cream. Great cool people thirsting me going back for more. We even got to get their calaloo patties this time. Dying to try. We got them frozen to go. Got their veggan cherry ice cream. Wonderful at such a hot weather.

Delicious amazing smoothies!!!! The baked goods are extraordinary. I love this place it's excellent. I do wish they had the punch cards to get a 5th or 7th free smoothie. Would be great for customers and their business.

VEGANS UNITE!!! MARCH FORTH TO THIS PLACE!!! My omnivore coworker put me on to this place (yasss my plan to spread plant based diet awareness is working as she thought I'd love it and she now loves it too!). She loved their lentil patties and recommended I try them. She SWEARS by them and orders 3 at a time! So they MUST be good! I ordered 1 of the soy chicken patties and 1 slice of their vegan pumpkin bread... Pattie: light crisp, flaky outer shell. Lightly flavored and paired well with the soy chicken center. The soy chicken was nicely seasoned and they placed the perfect amount in the center. Not too bulky or too thin. Bread: oh pumpkin flavor how I adore thee! It was so moist and didn't break into a bunch of crumbs or turn to mush. They surely know how to bake vegan treats! It wasn't too sweet and definitely satisfied a sweet tooth craving. It's also situated right next to a dope spot (Eve's Lounge) which has a vegan options on their menu and happy hour 4-8pm!!! Vegan patty and grab a mimosa next door right after.... sounds like a WIN to me! The man behind the register was also super pleasant and helpful! I hope they bring back the tofu patties as I'd love to try it! The other reviews are on point! This place is amazing! Definitely recommending to fellow vegans (and omnivores alike). Places like this should surely turn into full fledged dine in restaurants!!! I'd make a reservation ASAP!

I really like Natural Blend as the vegan/vegetarian spin off of 3Ds. They offer everything from pastries, patties, juices and meals (meat substitutes with rice and peas or variations of pastas). The staff though very kind don't know what is in the items they sell. Some items are vegan and are labeled as such while others are vegetarian. My recommendation is to have all items clearly labeled as vegan/vegetarian and to make sure everyone is aware of which items are what.

Excellent! This is one of those spots that nothing bad can be said about them. I'm not vegan, not even close but can dine here any day of the week. The fare is healthy, fresh and well made. Service is quick and pleasant. My gf and I completed a bike event in the area and were starving. Yelp located a different eatery across the street but we ended up chatting with an employee of the event and he recommended Natural Blend. God bless that man. This was a super find! We had: Brown stew chicken - comes with cabbage and rice/peas ($10). Large portion. We both ate and had plenty left over. Fish cake (1.50) not greasy and very flavorful Callaloo patty ($2) - whole wheat crust. Flaky, hefty and delicious Carrot cake ($2) - small, flavorful slice I had a peanut punch smoothie and it was superb. Not sure of the one my gf got but it was super fruity and had whey protein. ($5 for the small - pretty large in size). I loved that all natural ingredients are used for the smoothies and juices. Not really a dine in type of place. There is limited counter seating for about 6 people and a small table towards the back (right in front of the restroom) that holds about 6. There's also two small tables that seat 2 each outside. I recommend this spot 1000% Only regret is that I don't frequent the area as often as I'd like. I'm a fan.

The best vegan patties I've ever had! I'm a longtime on and off vegan and I prefer their vegan patties to all other veg or meat patties. My partner loves meat and loves these patties too! Have been coming here for over a decade and I still come here even though I don't live in Brooklyn anymore. Just got a box of frozen fish patties to bring home to Boston. Sooo good! All the patties are amazing. Fish, callaloo and split peas are must try's. I haven't had kale bc I am over kale, so can't speak to that. Please open a Boston location!!! We need you!

So, what's so great about this place? Well, I am glad you asked. It's kind of expensive (2 meals and 2 drinks ring close to $30), but you get what you pay for. The Ginger beer and the Sorrel in the fridge actually tastes like something someone made in-house rather than some factory upstate. The main courses (we had the brown stew "chicken" and the yard-style ital stew) were flavorful and comes in a decent size with veggies, and the ever important rice and peas. Ital stew is notoriously easy to mess up since it's just root veggies and okra stewed in coconut milk with pimento added, and it's so easy to overcook everything into an army gym sock mess. In this case, it actually retains the texture well, tastes freshly made, and satisfying to boot. It's also several blocks from the Brooklyn museum IRT stop so getting there is no trouble at all. This is definitely a gem and a treasure for this neighborhood.

Last week at a networking event I listened to a 60 something year old white guy complain about "juice bars" in the upper west side. I was ilke, oh yeah, gentrifiers. Then he said, no no no, not the new ones. Apparently, juice bar was a thing before all the Juice Presses, Juice Generations, and Pressed Juiceries came about. And apparently to him, the old juice bars were dangerous and scary places. Fast forward to today, I stepped into Natural Blend after a short visit to the BKM. The vibe is homey and warm (temperature was also super warm and my glasses fogged immediately). Menu is somewhat vague but here is how it works - all the veggie meat dinners come with rice and peas, and for the "lasagna dinner" which is what I ended up ordering, you get veggie lasagna instead of rice and you still have to pick a protein. I actually got overwhelmed by the protein options so the nice guys gave me half pepper steak and half curry chicken. The food had massively flavor and tasted like home. It tasted so good that I forgot where home was. Throughout my meal there was a group of men next to me chitchatting in a language I didn't understand, but I could pick up the phrase "miss clinton" here and there. I assume they were just #fam since they didn't get anything to eat or drink. Everyone seemed to know each other. But yeah. I can see why some 60-something-year-old white guy wouldn't like this.

Stopped her needing to get some rejuvenation after a workout, I yelped locations in my area and found this one. I have a passion for natural juices so decided to get a ABC juice ( apples, beets,carrots). The drink was good, however for the price it was too small. I also tried some veggie zucchini cake which was a tad bit on the dry side. They have a good round up of drinks and food but I would rather my local juicer..

Stop in after a work ..wanted a veggie patty but they only had fish and calaloo..i tried the calaloo..mhmm the crust was flaky and loght..no oily at all..fhe calaloo well seasoned..order a apple beats carrot n ginger juice..it was freah and refresing but the cup was smaller than i anticipated..walked in at 930 and the place statted to het pacled
