We really enjoyed our visit to the Natural History Museum in Abu Dhabi. It’s a great spot for families, especially with kids. There are a few small games and simple activities inside that keep them interested instead of just walking and looking at displays. The location is also very convenient — it’s on Saadiyat Island, right next to TeamLab Phenomena, so you can easily plan both in the same outing. We spent about 2 to 3 hours there without rushing. Overall, a relaxed, enjoyable experience and a nice way to spend time with the kids.

The newly opened Natural History Museum in Abu Dhabi is another incredible addition to Saadiyat Island, truly the cultural heart of the city. The museum is filled with fascinating displays, from original meteorites you can actually touch, to the 3.2 million year old remains of Lucy, an early human ancestral species. The wax statues and the two remarkably complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons are absolutely stunning. The museum takes you through the full story of Earth, from its creation 13.8 billion years ago to today, with interactive sections and beautifully curated exhibits. Don’t miss the “Earth Story” movie in the theatre, it’s ticketed separately and runs every 30 minutes, and is well worth it. A must visit destination for children’s education and equally engaging for adults, whether you love history, geology, archaeology, or dinosaurs. This museum truly caters to all and is a fantastic experience for everyone. Highly recommended!

An absolutely grand experience. The new Natural History Museum is simply impeccable—the architecture and the environments truly leave you breathless. Every hall is curated to perfection, making the visit a visual masterpiece from start to finish. A special tip: I highly recommend buying the separate ticket for the introductory "Cinema" experience. It is a bit short, perhaps shorter than I expected, but it is visually stunning and totally worth seeing to set the mood for the rest of the tour. Overall, a world-class addition to Abu Dhabi’s cultural district. Highly recommended.

This is probably one of the best museums in the UAE I’ve ever been to. I truly enjoyed it and would come back again. I love the details and the concept, where one can navigate from the beginning to different periods, humans taking over, and the final message of taking care of our environment. This really impacts us and reminds us how we should value the environment. Amazing staff who are very accommodating with every question and just pleasant overall. Don’t forget to go to the waterfront as it’s an additional treat. Also make sure to go to the Nayzak the cafe within the museum and by the waterfront. They have a really good Spanish Latte and food as well.
