Naturewell Vegan Juice & Smoothies

I picked up a DoorDash order from Naturewell Juice & Smoothies and was really impressed with how clean, organized, and efficient the place was. The staff was super friendly and had the order ready on time. Everything looked super fresh — especially the smoothies and acai bowls. I’ll definitely come back to try something for myself!

One of the best smoothie shops around! I stopped in to grab something for a snack and ended up trying their Lavender Smoothie and it was so delicious and refreshing :) next time you need something healthy & tasty I highly recommend trying it! Plus the staff was super chill 😊

Came here on a whim with my friend. I ordered the chocolate thunderbolt. I don’t like coconut and the server was very helpful with the modifications to my smoothie. The smoothie turned out absolutely delicious, a solid 9.5/10. My friend had the açai bowl and she loved it, a solid 8.5/10. The server was really great making recommendations with our order and you can’t top the fresh almond and peanut butter. It really made the difference in the quality of the smoothie.

High quality nutritious smoothies with a warm and friendly atmosphere and staff. Got to try their new pistachio matcha smoothie which was tasty, filling, and a feel-good option for breakfast! Will definitely make another stop next time I'm in the area.

I saw from my car that the person making smoothies was wearing gloves and on his phone when no one was in the shop. When we came in, we asked politely if he can please change his gloves but he instead, washed the gloves while still on his hands in the sink. I didn’t expect that, nor did I want that, but I didn’t speak up to avoid making anyone feel uncomfortable. Seeing that he was on his phone earlier, it would have made me feel better if he would just changed his gloves when we asked him to as that can be unsanitary to make smoothies after just using your phone with gloves on. The smoothies were also not good. The chocolate thunderbolt tasted like chalk and the green one tasted like grass. Not very good flavor in both unfortunately.

I’m doing a weekly diet challenge and today includes protein smoothies and I came across Naturewell. They were GREAT about making the tweaks to my berry smoothie. I immediately realized it’s the home for quite a few peeps. There were 5 regulars and me the newbie! I’m happy to say I’ll be back and claim my regular status. Try it! Naturewell is nothing but swell. This nearly entirely plant-based vegan juice bar meets mini health food store is filled with good energy, healthy choices and a very kind soul. I stopped in on one of the hottest days of the summer and discovered this hidden gem on Sunset Blvd in artsy creative sunny Silver Lake, Los Angeles. I had heard of Naturewell and their locations (also in DTLA, on the go in their truck van for catering/events and in Altadena, formerly), but this was my first full experience trying a good variety including some of their awesome all natural snacks. I was greeted right away and got to take in everything including their extensive as well as growing collection of grab and good goodies, wellness shots and beverages. I wasn't feeling up to a bowl (definitely next time), but a Berrylicious smoothie and some truly awesome Gopal's Savory Pumpkin Seed Sprouties were the perfect mix. I went with the 20oz large size for my bev as it was a really hot day and only $1 more. My too cool for school Bar-rista even offered me a nice ice cold water while I waited as we bonded over that L.A. heat and humidity. They had some pickup orders and inquiring individuals passing by on the street and a few boxes to increase their shelf inventory. There's cute cozy chairs and tables out front, not to mention some space to enjoy their plants inside and that amazing AC. Eco friendly w/ easy cup carries for multiple drinks. They accept most forms of payment, including digital pay (Apple, Samsung, etc) and offer military discounts for those have served and/or are currently serving. Easy bike parking out front, local street parking and very close to metro stops as well as not more than 20 minutes from metro stations. Outside area in front is fairly open and pup friendly. Come fell the well/wellness of Naturewell.

Great product. Yummy for sure. Prices aren't terrible considering the area. My problem was lack of friendliness . Please don't great your customers in a brute way. When a customer approaches to place an order it's been customary and basic politeness to greet and acknowledge the person standing before you. The floor in the food prep area seriously needs to be kept cleaner

I love Naturewell! By far my fav smoothie place in Silverlake! The staff is always friendly the smoothies and juices are fresh with all healthy ingredients. Definitely try out the lavender smoothie that's what I got today! Street parking and meter parking near by.

I came here to pick up a DoorDash order, and the experience made me want to come back as a customer. The staff was friendly, fast, and had the order ready before I even walked in. You can tell they care about quality -- the juices and smoothies looked amazing and smelled super fresh. The place has a clean, upbeat vibe and seemed really popular with locals. I'll definitely be back to try one of their signature smoothies or acai bowls for myself!

I order the All greens juice Celery, spinach, kale, parsley, cucumber, broccoli, ginger, lemon and coconut water. I placed my order to be pick up 8:40pm they told me it would take 20 minutes so I agreed unfortunately when I arrived they had not received my order yet or even started as I waited, I noticed the worker only put lemon cucumber and celery in the juicer not worth $10 not coming back again. I order all green juice, celery, spinach, kale, cucumber, broccoli, ginger, and I got a celery, water, cucumber, lemon juice. It tasted like celery and water, not worth my 20 minutes drive

Very welcoming atmosphere. Has a great variety selection on juices, smoothies, aci bowls, and etc.. Every ingredient they use is organic and fresh. Ordered a hemp smoothie and it's so fulfilling and delicious. Service was fast and smooth.

I got an acai bowl, smoothie, and wellness shots delivered to me. The packaging was perfectly intact and there were no issues. While I can tell that the ingredients they use are fresh, the fruits are not in season. The strawberries were not naturally sweet and I felt like the acai base was bland. The creamy coconut strawberry smoothie was on the blander side as well which was slightly disappointing, because visually the smoothie looks tasty. I was underwhelmed with the lack of flavor, but maybe I'll circle back around during the summer time.

My husband who has trouble with anything veggie, fell in love with the Coconut Kale smoothie. Now that says something. (it's hella good) Pineapple Sensation is the most refreshing drink to have in the heat or even in the cold!! love love love

I tried to order juices on ubereats and I selected a 9pm delivery for the next day. Ubereats defaulted to delivery right now, which i was not home, so I could not accept the delivery. Ubereats would not issue a refund. It was $188 in juices! So I called Naturewell to see if they could help. This blunder was not their fault! Fortunately, the owners of Naturewell called me back and we worked out a solution. They were very nice and accommodating. The juices are great. I am doing a 3 day cleanse. I like how you can customize the juices. I will definitely order again, just not from Ubereats. I uninstalled the UE app.

Good place to get some juices and açaí bowls. It has a few locations including this Silver Lake one on Sunset. Naturewell has a crap ton of healthy options. A good way to start off the morning or a good snack for later. The prices aren't that bad for this kind of thing. A few locations of this are around. It's got one in the Sunset Junction area with all the shops and everything. The bowls are the way to go. It's about $10 for an Açaí Bowl. This comes with bananas, berries, coconut, and granola. Basic toppings for a bowl. The other popular items include juices and smoothies. Also you can get a cup of fresh fruit. There's also snacks like protein bars and good stuff. Best place around here as far as the prices for açaí bowls. It's a pretty good portion. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.

Fun fact: If you order delivery from here and ask to swap out agave for dates, they'll give you a bland smoothie without ANY sweetener instead of: a)honoring your request, b)making it as is so you at least have something palatable, or c)calling you to see if you'd rather have a bland smoothie than a sweet one. Stellar customer service!

First time here. I ordered the Protein Smoothie. I waited over 20 minutes and was truly disappointed with the flavor of the smoothie. It was bland and not good. As far as ambience, there wasn't any. There was no music playing. I won't be returning.

There is something about this that I couldn't remember. That was a little disturbing with the açai bowl and the fact that something wasn't available, but it was pretty decent.

This place is a hit or miss. When they are on point the beverages and acai bowls are delicious! When it is an off day, the products are room temperature and taste bland. We were ordering from this place 3x a week at one point and we just couldn't tolerate the frequent inconsistencies anymore. The service also varied depending on the app we used. We would input the same instructions for the same product but sometimes they were followed and sometimes they were ignored. This area also has very limited parking which pushed us to always order for delivery. We've dined in a couple times and the experience was OK. I guess our first experience set a high bar because it never reached that point again.

Their acai bowls are super delicious. This is my go to place for that. Nothing compares to theirs.

Is it me or are the employees who work here indifferent and uninterested in greeting customers when they walk in the door? I have walked in here twice in the last few weeks and was put off by the lackadaisical attitude. I asked about what was in the refrigerated case and wanted to buy something for my Godmother who is at an assisted living facility up the street. Both times i walked out empty handed

I mean - take the "Make your own smoothie" out of the menu. I ordered something so simple (Avocado, Milk and Sugar) the guy said " we only have Almond Milk and Agave". I said "That's okay". He said : " you only can order from here" and pointed to the fruit on the menu. . Almond Milk and agave splash cost you that much? ‍ Empty, horrible attitude, and I guess they don't want consumer - Walk next door DICKIEY'S BBQ and MUUUUUCH BETTERRRRRRR

Friendly staff and reliable drinks! I'm so happy this place stays open in the evenings because I love having smoothies and acai bowls after dinner to sneak in something relatively healthy and sweet. I came in recently on a Friday night for a green smoothie. It tasted exactly how I expected. The staff was really friendly and kept good spirits close to closing time. There is street parking out front, but it's usually hit or miss. This shop is in Sunset Junction close to several major bus stops, so traveling is relatively easy if you live along the Sunset corridor. There are outdoor tables, which is great during the usual sunny afternoons.

Honestly we loved Naturewell so much while visiting LA- we went 3 times during our 5 day trip. My kids loved the fruit smoothies- Berrylicious and Pineapple Passion. My favorite was the Granola Special Smoothie which had a very creamy, nutty flavor. Sweetened with date paste- I couldn't get enough!!!! I'm so obsessed I'm going to try and make it myself!!

I ordered the avocado smoothie. I ordered via the website and picked it up within 10 minutes. The place is small but they have healthy snacks and drinks available in fridge. There's plenty of items to choose from but I wanted to avoid added sugar so I went with avocado smoothie. It was delicious and healthy. Guy was semi nice and was too busy to greet me when I came in. I'll still order again and maybe try a different menu option. Street parking only and it is very limited so I recommend parking the side streets near the residential areas versus the main street in Sunset.

Had this place a couple weeks ago and I'm on my way back now. The açaí bowl was so damn good! Super independent, not a chain at all- which I love. Last time I was there there was a lil lady making everything herself, taking her time- not rushing. And it came out amazing. Lots of respect for her craft and work ethic

One of the rare OG Silverlake business that hasn't been shutdown. Love the 70s health food store vibe, smoothies are delicious and the staff are always great.

Really good value for price, I got their acai bowl with strawberry, banana, blueberries, coconut, acai, vanilla granola and I added almond butter. It was filled to the brim so I'm definitely getting my moneys worth. They make their nut butters inside the store which is a plus. The ambiance in side the store is nice and they have plenty of options to choose from. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The staff is super friendly. One of the employees brought out a bowl of water for our dog which was very kind. Overall great vibes here

Really icy acai. The açaí had ice chunks in it and didn't really taste like acai. It was really watered down. Definitely not worth the money, don't be fooled by the high reviews.

I love that they make my modified acai smoothie so deliciously. Favorite smoothie spot in LA.

I was craving an açaí bowl late! Found this place on Yelp and drive from Rowland heights while working late lol First off, thanks for being open late and having fresh fruit on deck! Service was good. And fast. Price for my bowl was $10. Which is good for the quality and portions. Downside to me was that I can't see their toppings and there wasn't many to choose from. Their açaí bowl is pretty much pre-made. Meaning you can't customize much. Açaí, granola (of your choice), bananas, strawberries, blueberries and coconut flakes. I like variety and this place didn't have much. But it was still good. They also offer plenty of other natural/healthy/organic products. So that's a plus. Thanks for the good açaí bowl and service. Keep it up.

Always consistent product. Have about 2 açaí bowls a week, still keep ordering. They are willing to acquiesce my requests.

If you're in the area looking for a smoothie, fresh pressed juice, an açaí bowl or a healthy snack, COME HERE! (: I've been here a couple times and each time leave with happiness in a cup. This last time I ordered the All Greens and Hangie juice; it tastes soooo good! Not sweet and was super refreshing yummmms. My bf got the healthy heart juice and that was tasty too, a lot more sweet when compared to the drink I got. I'd recommend the healthy heart juice for kids, it tasted like a Minute Maid juice to me (I don't like to drink sweet juices hahah). They also had a bunch of healthy snacks, packaged foods, nuts, and bottled drinks. Outdoor seating available, two small round tables and four chairs if you want to sit to enjoy your refreshing beverages or snacks! Anyway, Kim was superrrr friendly and so helpful! I really enjoyed her banter, and her suggestions were delicious! TIP: Check in to get a FREE face melter shot! I'd recommend this place and will be visiting again next time I'm in the area!!

I come here all the time and such great drinks such a great spot to get these smoothies. Let me tell you Amy is great. She is always so sweet and vibrant even on the busiest nights. She makes the best drinks as well. I was always a Pineapple Sensation and Coconut Kale (which by the way are my favorite drinks to get) but let me tell you she put me on to this coconut date. I was thrown off by hearing dates but when I tried it, it was amazing. Great way to end the night by Amy's awesomeness and great smoothies. Thank you Naturewell!!!!

Fresh smoothies and proteins shakes! Those acai bowls are delicious. They even have fresh nut butters. Kim was delightful and answered all my questions. The store offers plenty of snacks too. A great neighborhood juice/smoothie bar who has reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back. Support this local business:)

Smoothie was delicious! Unfortunately the parking was just so horrible it makes me not want to come here, it's tricky street parking on sunset blvd. if you don't mind then this is a cute spot to check out. The service is great and there's some outdoor seating for people watching as well

Pretty good açaí bowls here! It was definitely fresh and you could literally watch them make it in front of you. 2 things though, they filled the bottom with granola and then put the açaí and then put more granola on top and top it off with fruit and all. So there isn't much açaí. The other thing is that they truly do Jam Pack it in there so the first scoop you will undoubtedly drop something on the table or the floor if you ate it standing up like me. Maybe wait to eat it at home so you can put it in a bigger bowl?

5/5 for their pitaya bowl. Im almost certain they make their granola with lots of brown butter... its super tasty and i like how they base it at the bottom! Their face melter is extremely spicy so be aware!

Unfortunately not too impressed. I got an acai bowl and it was overpriced, toppings were charged at over $1 for each.. which is crazy. The texture itself was too watery, I'm used to thicker consistency. They did fill it to the brim but honestly it didn't make up for the price. They also didn't have peanut butter... The smoothies were ok. Nothing to write home about. Lavender smoothie was very strong/overpowering and their protein smoothie with hemp lacked flavor. I guess it was just too healthy for my liking LOL!

You must try the avocado smoothie all the benefits you look for in health, chlorophyll dates, lions main avocado it's insanely good!!!

Super impressed by the prices here!! It's super obvious that they only use fresh produce and other ingredients which always makes me feel good knowing what I'm eating is fresh. They have tons of options and all of the smoothies and bowls that I've tried are super yummy (and everything is customizable). What sets them apart from the other all natural smoothie / juice spots is the PRICE!! I got a smoothie and acai bowl for only 16 dollars!!! That's the price I would expect to pay for one bowl at other places. They don't skimp on the bowls either, you'll get a totally full (and totally delicious) bowl for half the price of other places. 10/10!!!

Not the best experience. The first time I went, they made me wait 15 minutes to just place an order and the lady up front didn't even acknowledge the customers waiting and inform us that it's gonna take a while. The second time I went, I just asked for an ingredient list for the granola to make sure it's vegan and they had no ingredients. So, i changed the order and she called me indecisive. Go to earth bar down the street, way better service and quality

One of the few or only one that's open this late! I have been here several times and each visit had great customer service and delicious acai bowls and/or smoothies. This place is very consistent, plus their menu is reasonably price.

Top tier service: the fine wine of a woman this evening, July 7th, 2023 towards last five minutes of being open, took us in without a second thought. She was so wonderful. I mean out of this world service. I wish I could give 1000/5 stars! She recommend the carrots etc cold pressed juice. It was absolutely divine! So fresh! I also got an açaí bowl! Just LOOK AT IT! Literally presentation was phenomenal! The music was also a vibe. My partner and I found ourselves slow dancing to a French/English melody. It was so cinematic. At this point I'm convinced she was an angel an angle with caramel skin and a cute summer lob (long bob.) I tipped, please make sure she gets this tip AND the deed to the establishment. If not stock in it because I just KNOW that she's the reason myself and others will continue to come back for years to come. She was so so lovely to encounter. The end

Really love this place, friendly staff & consistent product each time! It's especially nice when you can snag the table out front to enjoy your juice if you have the time for that. Got a free sample of their lavender smoothie & it was great! Tasted like fruity pebbles almost but i come here for the anti-virus juice and/or Acai bowls. So good. Every time!

If you are ever in Silverlake and craving a smoothie then this is the place to go. All their ingredients are fresh and they have some ingredients which I honestly have never heard of. It is located right on sunset. Parking can be a bit tricky but you can either street park on sunset or in the neighborhood streets behind it. They do require that you wear a mask to enter and do have two tables outside if you want to eat there. Menu is composed of smoothies, juices, and acai bowls. they also sell some snacks and drinks on the side, I think i eyed some coconut water and kombucha. The workers are all great but it is hard to describe some of the ingredients and what they taste like. you can also order ahead and just pick up as well. Smoothies will run you about 10-12 dollars per smoothie. Coconut kale: 4/5: its a nice smooth, creamy and refreshing drink. You can't really taste the kale which I like but still get the nutrients, hopefully. but its a good compromise if you are trying to be healthy but also want something tasty. It is similar to the whole foods smoothie called green and glowing. Field of greens: 3/5. Personally not my favorite but probably full of great nutrients and vitamins. If you have been eating like crap for the past week and need just a boost of green vibrant energy this is probably the drink for you! Avocado 5/5: i just tried this smoothie and it was so good. The avocado makes the shake really creamy. the almond butter gives it a bit of saltiness, almost like peanutbutter-esque. Not really sure what some of the ingredients are (lion's maine?!!?), but the drink was good They are also known for their acai bowls but I haven't tried them yet. Also don't forget to check in to get a free 1oz shot with a purchase over 15 dollars.

I was on a mission to get here and yelp sent me W sunset when its just Sunset. But they are open late and a smoothie was the only thing i was craving and had not ate since breakfast.. got there about 9:30 got a wonderful Lavender smoothie, service so nice. and the ambiance great n they got churned peanut, almond butters on deck and there was one other but forgot

Hi Naturewell. I'll have the Facemelter, please. Double shot. With a chaser (apple slice)! Whenever I am feeling run down, sore throat, a tickle in the throat, or beginning to sniffle a lot, I head over to Naturewell for the Face Melter. It has helped me many times to fight off any pesky virus before the bug multiplies and blows up my sinuses! I am super grateful for this juice bar! Plus, I love that I can get my veggies, fruits, and roots (ginger/beets/etc) freshly squeezed/juiced without a big ole mess to clean up! (I have a juicer at home, but requires chopping and cleaning- and going to the market in the first place to purchase veggies). The peanut butter cacao protein shake is my favorite!! It's a hearty meal replacement for breakfast or lunch! And full of good stuff! Yet tastes like dessert! There is much on the menu! And the service is always friendly! Love this place!

I was craving a fresh fruit smoothie, when I stumbled upon this gem, while scrolling through YELP. Adorable fruit bar. They offer fresh juices, açaí bowls, smoothies, wellness shots... amongst many other tasty healthy snacks. Great customer service. Good quality açaí bowl (not to icy) topped with fresh fruit. Modest portion size. Delicious fruit smoothies, we tried both the protein and strawberry. Both were delicious. We'll definitely revisit in the near future.
