The Naughty Fox is in a nice location with a good view. The servers are helpful and attentive, even with a to-go order the presentation was nice. I do agree with other reviewers that the cost to portion size is on the smaller side. What I did have was very good though. It would be five stars across the board if it was a little more reasonable.

Delicious! We were on the island for 5 days, and everyday we ate at at least one restaurant. The Naughty Fox was my favorite! I got the Cataline Chicken Bowl, and I ate ALL of it! So refreshing and you won't feel like you overate. The hubby got the Ahi Poke Nachos and he said it was great. I don't like raw fish, but I tried a chip with the poke sauce and it was very good! My girls got a salad and burger, and they both liked theirs. My 16 year old said that the chicken in her salad was dry, but everything else was good. Our drinks were really good too! We got the Chile Mango Margarite and the Svelt Strawberry... SO GOOD! We will be going back FOR SURE! The worst part is the lack of seating, but it was worth the 15 minute wait.

NF has been the best gluten free option we have found on-island for lunch or dinner. Vegan tacos, shrimp and rice, and corn empanadas were exactly what we were looking for after a day of biking and exploring.

I had a great time at The Naughty Fox. We came in for drinks only, and even though we didn’t try the food, everything about our visit was excellent. The drinks were great, and the service was just as impressive, thank you Diana! While the prices were a bit high, that’s pretty standard for an island since most things are imported. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to, which made the experience even better. I can’t wait to visit again.

We got lucky finding this good quality restaurant in Avalon, food was incredible and delicious. It took awhile for us to be seated and order food but they made up for it by being flexible on the menu, patient in explaining everything, giving recommendations. We got two chicken bowls and mac & cheese without lobster. Our go to lunch spot from now on!

Outdoor seating was cold out. Nachos were great asked for extra sauce on side to add to bottom chips that didn’t have enough sauce. Burger was great fries were thick and crispy. Service was slow.

Great location in Avalon. Food is pretty good. Service pretty terrible. Took over 30 minutes to get a menu. Almost 50 minutes for a drink, the only reason I hung out was waiting for people to finish the local fifty kilometer run, and this is on the last corner with great views.

Good little spot off the path of of Avalon. Food was good and service was quick. They have a cool bar spot that's half outdoors. Also they have some outdoor seating that gives you a great view of the ocean.

We drove past this place a bunch of times both during the day and night, and it was always popping, so we finally stopped in for brunch to see what the hype was about. The views are unbeatable. You're looking straight out at all the boats docked in the harbor, watching golf carts zip by nonstop. It's basically peak Avalon people watching. We grabbed champagne and just sat there soaking it all in. For food we ordered the breakfast burrito and the oatmeal. The oatmeal surprised me in the best way. Perfectly cooked, not overly sweet, just really well done. The breakfast burrito was solid too, and I asked for both red and green sauce. The red sauce was the winner for me. I really wanted to try the buffalo milk, but I couldn't bring myself to commit to a whole serving, it felt heavy. After way too much internal debate, I skipped it...and now I'm regretting that decision as I write this. It looked so good. All in all, great food, unreal views, and a super relaxing vibe. Definitely stop by if you're visiting Avalon. Oh one thing I didn't like....we asked for waters and they brought us boxed water. It tasted like plastic, so gross. Don't order water here. We wouldn't have asked for it had we known it was going to be boxed water!

Tonight's service was Terrible. I was looking forwarded to coming here with all the great reviews and food/drinks posted on Yelp. I arrived close to closing hours and my parter & I wanted to order one drink. The front desk greeted us and informed us ahead of time, they didn't have some of the items available in the menu, again we just wanted to order a drink. After being seated, we looked over the menu and we were waiting for the service to take our order. We waited about 15 to 17 minutes and none of the servers were acknowledging us. I kept waiting patiently, and there was a party of four that arrived a few minutes after us and the server serve them instead of us! I was again waiting patiently, and I saw the front desk closing out a customers dinner bill and they were sitting next to us. I told her that we are ready to order and she completely walked away, pretending that she did not hear me at all! Lastly, I did turn a few times and I noticed the server kept looking and acting she was doing something to avoid come to us! We left since no wanted to service us and such a waste time. The only person who acknowledged us and provide service was the gentleman who seated us and provided us our menu but afterwards, it went down hill right away.

this place is alright. the drinks were okay & we got expensive burgers that were also ok. service wasn't really existent but i mean its chill. i like the name of the place tho and they have a good view i think try it if you want to you may get a good drink or something like a quick drink & a snack but yeah not too impressed.

Wow not sure what happened but it's gone down hill so much since we were here last. Came in twice so far this trip and very bummed both times. Now, sat night and not very busy. Two girls working (both long dark hair). We sat for about 10 minutes after they told us they'd bring our menus out and we ended up having to go ask for a menu. Then ten minutes later had to go ask if we can order a drink. Were about to leave but she finally came out to take our order and said they were out of few things we tried ordering. Got an appetizer and blackened shrimp I had last time. They brought out our appetizer with our meal and some plastic forks and spoons.Everything was disappointing. Super small shrimp compared to last time Very bummed because we loved it last time we came here. I'm sure they won't be here next time we visit just like a lot of the places on the island sadly. Made for a crappy anniversary dinner

As soon as we walked in the hotel hostess told us to wait by the restaurant sign and a server would be with us shortly. We saw the server, made eye contact, and we were not greeted. We waited about 8 minutes. Another guest who was dining at the restaurant was observing and asked us to sit at the bar to get some help. We went to the bar, the server we saw earlier was putting away glasses and my husband asked her if we would be able to dine outside. She answered with a very rude tone "if you want to go outside then go ahead yourself." There was no greeting. No welcome in. No customer service displayed. It was very disappointing. So disappointing that I had to write this review. Here's a pro tip; if you work in the business of hospitality, then be hospitable.

Service is great. Everyone is friendly and cool and just here to help you have a good time. The poke nachos were phenomenal. Best appetizer and perfect to share! We tried the buffalo milk, it's like a milkshake with a shot & the pepino cooler which is perfect if you're looking for a refreshing drink. It's such a beach vibe and you can't go wrong with sitting at the bar or outside. Really loved this place!

We love this restaurant! Love to sit on the patio on the rail. Our favorite is Julian. He's always so great and his service is perfect, he knows us when we come in 4x a year. Today we noticed the restaurant was out of everything and the buns for the burgers were store bought cheap small ones. The owners need to get with it! This is a great location and has good workers. I'd hate to see it fail from poor food quality. Just my $.02

This place was disappointing and whoever was the OGM on Saturday July 19th, you need to learn better customer service. I came to Catalina to celebrate my mom's birthday and we decided to try out this place. We get there and they don't have seating that fits our party of 6. So the server asks if we're okay splitting up to 4 and 2. We were hungry so we said we were okay with it and would wait for the table that does seat our whole party to open up in the mean time. So my bf and I sat on the patio area while my family sat at a table near the bar. We were hoping that the other table near the bar would open up soon. Our server was attentive and was nice and we appreciated him trying to accommodate us the best he could. My bf and I ordered drinks and the other server brought one of our drinks over to my family's table and my sister told me that he could barely form a sentence. He handed them our drinks and said Order?? But later on, my sisters would overhear him talking to the other tables perfectly, in complete sentences. So that was a little weird. While waiting for our food to come in, we saw a small table open up next to my family, not the big one but at least it was a table near by. We asked our server if we could move over there so at least we were next to my family and he says sure. But as we go to sit down, the other server brings over a party of 2 and says it's already reserved. And then the OGM swoops in with her blazer and says that theres a queue if we want to sit down and that we need to leave. Obviously it was just a misunderstanding, and my bf and I don't mind if it was already reserved for another group. It's not like we got up without asking someone first if we could sit there. But the OGM was rude and just assumed that we went and sat down there of our own accord. Which was weird because I had made eye contact with her plenty of times before when we were sitting on the patio, so it's not like she didn't know that we were already seated customers there. And as a manager, she couldn't go about the situation a little more kindly? Instead she just straight up tells us we can leave. We told her a server said we could sit there and shes like which server? We tell her and she just walks away. My bf and I go back to our original seats and we're frustrated with her tone and her rudeness. Our server comes by and apologizes, but theres not much he can do with her as a manager. Then to add more fuel to the fire, my bf and I saw that the large table finally opened up. We ask our server if we can all move there now. He says he'll go ask his manager. As we're waiting to hear back, a party of 3 white ladies that were sitting next to us move over to that table without asking anyone and the OGM sees all of this and doesn't say a word. Where was the swooping in that she did for us? Where was telling them that there was a queue and they needed to leave? The group didn't even ask and they weren't even a full party of 6. On top of all this, the food wasn't even good. I ordered the shrimp linguini and it's just dry noodles that tasted like mac and cheese with 4 barely cooked shrimp. My family didn't like their food either and it was way overpriced for what they gave us. Also ordered the buffalo milk cocktail, it was nasty. Just a huge disappointment and horrible customer service from the ogm there. Our server we had was very nice and is the only reason I'm giving two stars to this horrible establishment. If you're debating eating here, find another spot!

The food was 10/10. My husband loved the ahi nachos and his drink the Svelt strawberry! I had the breakfast sandwich which was amazing as well. I also got the bottle of mimosa with flavored purées strawberry and peach! Service was a little slow to start but great overall! Beautiful views and ambiance. Will definitely be back!

First time at the Naughty Fox. Why Naughty not Knotty, which has more of a seafaring feel? Or maybe Nautical Fox? Walked over to put in my to-go order, but they were out of the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Yet they still had the blackened chicken sandwich. I guess it's not the same cut of chicken for both sandwiches. We conferred and ordered a few things: 1) the blackened chicken sandwich, but grilled not blackened. It had tzatziki sauce, pickled red onions, tomato, and arugula (they were out, so just lettuce) on brioche and came with "patatas bravas"; 2) blackened shrimp bowl; and 3) mac and cheese. The plain mac and cheese had a good presentation but their beer cheese sauce and white cheddar were pretty mellow and mild. Suggestion: make it cheesier and add the option to spice it up. I liked the amount of bread crumbs. The description said it had green onions, but it didn't. Good portion size. Liked it! Also shared some of the "patatas bravas," but they looked more like regular fries with a red sauce over top, not fried potato chunks or slices. Also also, they only sell boxed water, not bottles.

We stayed at the Bellanca Hotel, so The Naughty Fox was our first stop once we arrived at Avalon. We were for brunch and really liked the options here although they were out of the chicken and waffle. I had their Catalina Sandwich, which is a bagel sandwich with a side. The food was good but as what you would expect. The Avocado Crush was great! Very delicious! Good brunch portion. Unfortunately, the service here wasn't very good. We had a group of 8 people and had to split to two tables and the server kept telling us that we couldn't move around or stand next to our friends. I understand they are "following the rules", but it was just a vibe killer that we were hoping to enjoy the relax time there. The view of the restaurant right out the bay was great. Really awesome location.

Patio has a few tables and umbrellas with a good view of the water and great people watching. I loved the frito misto, it was the perfect shareable plate. Our service was pretty slow even though we came after the lunch rush.

Got the hummus and naan to share with shrimp tacos as my meal. Both were excellent! Tacos were served with big shrimps packed with flavor! The pickled red onions served in the tacos was the perfect combination. Love the crispy chickpeas with the hummus and naan. Order extra naan since it was so good and toasted to perfection. Got it to shared and ended up with only a couple of pieces since my family ate it all! The view from where I sat was great. A bit noisy when golf carts are putting around but it definitely showed the liveliness of Avalon. Service was awesome, especially being served by a "foxy" beauty named Wolf with a great sense of humor. Definitely a place to go to and come back! This time I'm getting an extra order of hummus and naan so I can have some instead of only getting a taste.

Diana serves THE BEST DRINKS!! Loves the service. She was friendly and inviting and completely deserves a raise! No other place did I feel that I drank alcohol except this place! Worth my money.

Food was excellent and service was as well! The children also enjoyed the menu. I had tacos and fiend and grand daughter had poke!

This place was in walking distance of our hotel so we figured we would try it and others seemed to enjoy it. Great location being across the street from the bay. We sat outside and ordered a Paloma that wasn't great and the flavor was off. The tuna poke nachos had a lot of flavor and had a great amount of tuna. Hub's bacon burger had good flavor and there was a good amount of bacon too which is always a plus. The papas bravas were cooked great as well and the consistency of the fries were good. They were well seasoned and the sauce was great as well, but could be spicy for some people. The ambiance was ok, but we appreciated the umbrellas for outside seating. It was great being able to see the bay and action of the Main Street. The service was ok, nothing special. Located inside Bellanca Hotel.

Bland service and bland to gross food. Walked up to the young ladies at the front and they barely acknowledged us and told us to just go find an open spot- which there were none. Another server finally sets us at the bar where we were obviously annoying the poor bartender who had to become our server when we ordered food and he never clued us in that the crispy chicken sandwich was made with some minced chicken that he eventually told us was minced with coconut and while we don't know if he was telling the truth it was one of the grossest things that we have ever been served. The texture was like a tuna fish sandwich but mooshier. The fries were not cooked all the way and the portions were much smaller than one would expect for the prices. Sadly disappointed.

Sat at the bar, spanning brunch & lunch on a Saturday. It was fantastic. We waited for 12:00 so we could get lunch. Went for a shareable - frito misto. AMAZING!

This was my favourite restaurant in Avalon when I first tried it last year. It's still a fave, but their quirky off-season hours prevented me from having dinner here one weeknight this year. They only open until 5 pm Sun-Thurs, until 7 pm Fri and Sat. And they open late-ish daily at 9 am for breakfast. I had a very tasty dinner here. I originally sat at the outdoor counter that faces the street. There was only one waiter who seemed pretty busy, so I moved inside to the bar where the bartender was the server (it seemed he also served some outdoor tables). I ordered a Mai Tai, the Ahi Poke Nachos and the Lobster BLT. Loved loved loved the nachos, a unique spin on traditional poke, very delish and a generous size (meant to share but I would not). The lobster BLT was also a generous size, actually two lobster roll-sized split-top buns with plentiful fried lobster and bacon, but a bit shy on the lettuce, tomato and spicy whipped avocado. My side of choice was the sticky rice with Thai chili sauce. I had to take home 1 1/2 of the rolls, since I didn't share the nachos. I'd like to try their breakfast again next time, as well as a dessert. And of course the nachos.

Our only disappointing experience in our Catalina weekend. Skimpy portions, slow service, staff more interested in serving bar customers. The only thing to save the experience was the view. If you weren't swarmed by bees.

We walked passed this restaurant a few times and every time it was packed so we decided to give it a try. We sat outside and had a great view of the ocean & boats while we had our lunch. We ordered the Poke nachos/ frito miesto for our meals & mimosas to drink. The poke nachos were very good but the frito miesto was mid. The drinks were made well but then again it was just mimosas. Decent restaurant.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the view of the water, and that's only if you're sitting facing it. Food is absolutely overpriced for the size of portions. I got the naughty tacos for $24 and they were basically a snack! They are the smallest thing I've ever received at a restaurant. The mac, burger, and fries had no flavor profile and they didn't even offer us water or ask if we wanted drinks. Food also took forever to come out and the servers really did not seem interested in helping us. Do not go here unless you want to be robbed in broad daylight.

This was down the street from where we stayed. I had read a lot of positive reviews. We were looking forward to going there. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my partner ordered the Island Bennies. Although our waiter was friendly, service was very slow. Neither of us cared for breakfast, the eggs on the Island Bennies were overcooked and the hollandaise sauce had too much lemon in it making it very tangy. My sandwich was anything special and the breakfast potatoes didn't have any crunch to them. Overall, breakfast was disappointing and I wouldn't go back.

Great corner location with great views located at The Bellanca hotel. Indoor/Outdoor bar and eatery. Breakfasts are fantastic but the only downfall is they close the kitchen on Sundays. At least when we were there 7/2024. Lovely place.

This used to be my favorite place on the island for breakfast! The smoked lobster Benedict was maybe my favorite breakfast dish of all time. So sad to this off of the menu however besides that my experience at naughty fox this time around was seriously underwhelming. All of the breakfast plates were meh. The once crispy delicious potatoes were replaced with soggy over seasoned mush the eggs were overcooked and the sad looking side of fruit was served in a paper basket. At the price range of 19-30 dollars a plate I would expect more elevated plates and presentation. Not sure i will be returning for breakfast. The view and drinks were still great.

Atmosphere is great, the drinks were good, the service sucked, and food was mid for far too much money.

So we took a day trip to Catalina did a lot of fun stuff like zip lining and all I heard a lot about the naughty fox and how the nachos were so delicious so you know I had to stop by upon arriving I waited about 3-5 min before getting seated the server was very attentive and gave good recommendations we sat outside and let me tell you it was very relaxing the cucumber drink was the best one in my opinion overall the nachos were a 10/10 the mood was very chill and relaxed I'll def be back again when I decide to take another trip to Catalina !

Food was below mid (chicken lollipops, pirate burger, chicken patty burger), probably one of the most bland tasting food I've ever had. Service was short staffed, took a little while to get seated even though place was at half capacity All in all it was a rather interesting experience and I wouldn't recommend this to someone coming to Catalina for the 1st time

Went straight here after getting off the ferry, and it was a perfect experience. Vibes were immaculate! Couldn't have asked for a better first meal in Catalina. Had a slight wait, but was seated after about 15 minutes during a pretty busy time! Definitely recommend checking this spot out.

I checked out the Naughty Fox for lunch during a day trip to Catalina. It is near the waterfront and walking path, so you can comfortably people-watch if you choose to. I did not have a reservation and was sat quickly. The server appeared knowledgeable on the menu and could provide recommendations and let us know they had box water available for purchase ($4.99) and did not give out glasses of water. We got the Ahi Tuna Nachos, Shrimp Tacos, and Wings based on the menu selection. Ahi Poke Nachos They were seasoned perfectly. The tortilla chips were crispy, along with the fresh avocado. Overall, it is my favorite of the three dishes. 4/5 Naughty Tacos - Shrimp The shrimp tacos were okay. Shrimps were deveined with purple cabbage and pico de Gallo with a spicy aioli. They were ultimately underseasoned, but the aioli with a squeeze of the lemon slice was the saving grace. 2/5 Grilled Chicken Wings The wings were cooked perfectly. The fact that the wings were grilled made the ginger scallion vinaigrette. They were seasoned with a taste so much better. Overall, I enjoyed them. 3/5 The overall service is quick and good. The ambiance was great; people were stopping by for a bottle of champagne or some of their signature drinks before making their way to their next stops. I was expecting a greater variety of dishes, but overall, it was a positive experience.

Food was nasty. Fries were mushy like from the microwave. Chicken burger was mushy. Ruined my day. Service was even worse.

doesnt seem like a good place for big groups. Was sat along a high top bar thing so couldn't really talk to everyone in my group (6). Also sharing appetizers was a bit hard. I got the blackened shrimp bowl and this was extremely mediocre. It lacked substance and flavor, i doused the entire thing in hot sauce, which im thankful was provided on the table. The staff is very nice and did their best to accommodate the big group and all of the orders. Also seems like theres a surplus of bees happening this time of year, and will join you for your meal the entire time.

Ahi Poke and Catalina Salad. So high quality, delicious and refreshing after our hike and travel. Nothing like a well made salad to energize you on an adventure and the fish tasted fresh so went perfectly with the oceanic island vibe. Only Ask/Tip for restaurant: expand drink menu to include a few non-alcoholic options. The younger generation isn't really into toxic ingredients and there are so many nourishing delicious drink possibilities. At least offer one amazing, refreshing mocktail ? Since there wasn't anything We had them do a tajin rim with tonic water and fresh lime but maybe a few bitters, extracts, citrus and/or hibiscus could be amazing. Fresh citrus is key, there was only machine lemonade which is full of chemicals, sugar and doesn't have any of the refreshing qualities. People will feel great after visiting with a tiny modification :)

Absolutely worst service and breakfast food. As we got seated, the waitress asked if we want anything to drink and we just said water. Ordered the salmon toast and the bread was not toasted. The egg on the egg Benedict was way overcooked. When I asked the waitress if the egg was supposed to be like that and she said "I don't know, I guess". Finished the food and asked for the check, and we saw that they charged $4/water without letting us know. We asked her about it and that we weren't aware of the charge and she just says "well it's $4". Will not recommend this place to anybody and that waitress should start looking for another job

First time visiting the island and I read the Yelp reviews and decided this is where I wanted to go for a bite to eat before we rented a golf cart. My husband and I shared the ahi poke nachos since this is one of our favorites to order. The nachos were good. We only wish there was a bit more ahi and avocado to ensure each wonton chip had at least a piece of ahi and a piece of avocado on it. We would have also wanted a bit more heat like maybe a wasabi sauce or siracha. The restaurant is very small, mostly a small patio area seating with bar seating inside. Overall we really enjoyed our light lunch and the view and we will definitely return to try more eats on their menu.

Hands down ahi nachos are to die for! Pair it with a Mai Tai and sit outside with a view of the ocean. Life is good!

Located at the end of the main stretch in Avalon, the Naughty Fox is a cheekily-named small restaurant that's part of the Bellanca hotel. Seating is limited, so it's important to go early to snag a spot either outdoors or inside at the bar. I ordered a chili mango margarita, which was strong and spicy-- loved it! My lobster BLT was just okay, though: I felt that frying the lobster was unnecessary, but otherwise it was okay: the bun was crispy and buttery and inside was chockful of bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes. Our server was nice and accommodating, although I could tell that the place was understaffed. It would've also been nice for the restaurant to have the umbrellas turned up at the start of the day, as well as more room to cover the seats-- but with limited space, it was a challenge. Overall, good service and decent, but overpriced food.

Came to Catalina Island for vacation & if you're visiting I would recommend this place! Eggs Benedict mahi 7/10: the egg was perfectly poached, the fish was a bit tough & salty, but overall was very enjoyable. The fries, however, AMAZING!! I have no idea what they are lightly coated with, but I think about these fries A LOT! Blood Mary 9/10: beautifully made Bloody Mary with just the right amounts of tomato juice, Worcestershire, & Tabasco sauce only thing missing was a celery stick! Service was wonderful, we sat at the bar & chatted with Angie, who is very kind hearted Overall ambiance was perfect! Their space is very open with a bar table facing the ocean views that's close to the sidewalk where people pass by. Unfortunately they only had drip coffee & no cafe lattes

On our last day on Catalina Island, we stopped by for breakfast. There was no wait and we were excited to sit outside on the patio. The service was great, our waitress kept our water glasses full and checked in on us periodically. The Bloody Mary was refreshing with spices added to give it its signature flavor. It was an enjoyable cocktail to have in the warm morning sunshine before getting on the ferry back to Long Beach. The pork belly eggs Benedict had very tender meat with rendered fat that melted in my mouth. The hollandaise sauce was smooth and had a sweet taste that complimented the pork. The breakfast potatoes were salty and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sausage eggs Benedict was with a savory sausage that was split in half. Opening the sausage gave each bite a consistent texture of buttery hollandaise, seasoned sausage and the poached egg. The fruit was cold and refreshing with a great variety of flavors. Overall the Naughty Fox was great and was attached to the Bellanca hotel.

Stopped by to get a quick bite & drink before parasailing. There is indoor & outdoor seating. Didn't like my first drink the spicy margarita (spicy for me) they were nice enough to switch my drink and only charge me for one. Loved the outdoor patio!

I'm a poki nacho fanatic. I try them everywhere I go and this was no different. Reviews and pics look great so I had to go for it. It is at the end of the walking strip when you land in Catalina. Probably a 15 minute walk from the ferry. Most the seating is outdoors but they have heaters. Bar seating is the only inside seats. It was about 12pm on a Wednesday but it was starting to get a little busy. Waitress was attentive and quick. I ordered the poki nachos (obviously) and my sister got the Mac and cheese with bacon. Both were 10/10. I love love loveeeee them. Top three poki nachos and Mac I've had. I would come back everytime I'm in Catalina just for these two items. Special mention to the mango marg. Tasty and good pour. Overall, worth it.

Boy oh boy the waitress was the rudest woman over ever came across. The menu was short. But the service was horrible.

Enjoyed meal here. Front row seat on the harbor. French toast looks great. We got here just after noon. Strict noon cutoff so no brunch for us. Maybe that's why I took off a star which is not strictly fair, but reasonably some of the other brunch food looked fair. Mahi sandwich was good. Comment was "juicy"", but a little on the small side. I had shrimp bowl that was really delicious. Rice w mango and coconut may not be for everyone. They also have a nice cocktail menu. So it was good enough that we went back to try breakfast. Got here at about 20 till 12 or so. Got to table at five till 12. Mentioned to server that we knew breakfast ends at 12 and asked if we could order right away . He said no we'd have to order from the lunch menu because he still had to clean up the table. We said Goodbye..

I will be honest and say I came to this place solely for lent hint and one thing only. The ahi poke nachos were divine. The restaurant is right on the strip and you can't miss it. It isn't very big but we came after the lunch rush and were seated right away. Our servers were very sweet. The vibes were very cute and I enjoyed the music and ambiance. I will say we weren't interested in trying any of the drinks because of how pricey they were (even the food was pricey). If you only get one thing from here - make sure it's the ahi poke nachos.

We came here based on the suggestion from a blogger who recommended their pole nachos and it did not disappoint! Fish was fresh and of great quality while the chips were fried and had a great crunch. We all got different dishes and they all tasted amazing. The wait was close to 40 minutes and it seems like they're constantly busy without a break so be patient and/or come outside of popular lunch/dinner hours. The servers were doing their best and were very friendly but they may have been a tad understaffed as it took a long time to get water refills and other things we asked for. The bartender ended up pitching in and helping to take orders. Regardless the poke nachos will have me coming back next time I'm in Catalina Island. -IG: @hungry.hungry.helena

Nice little place on Catalina. Highly recommend stopping by here for lunch if you're ever on the island. Food and service were great. Ingredients were incredibly fresh and tasty. Location is perfect because you get a beautiful view of the ocean, boats, and people.

You can get better burgers at a gas station. We wish we could go back in time and eat somewhere--anywhere--else. Bland food, bad service, overpriced.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Bartender left for break and came back when we are done with breakfast - so didn't get a mimosa. Middle of the week - didn't have chicken and waffles so ordered a breakfast burrito. Asked for a side of salsa and the waiter looked at us strangely. Not sure if they had any. Brought some type of sauce. Eggs/Bacon/Hash browns and Toast - blah. Asked for butter and the kitchen barely gave me some cut up butter. Bacon was old (probably the day before) room temperature, not hot or even warm. Eggs overcooked. Found mold in the hashbrowns at the end and they denied it. Not sure if they even had a chef/cook in the kitchen. Don't waste $1 at this place. Didn't bother taking pictures because it lacked flavor, presentation, warmth and service.
