Way off the beaten path. Overpriced. We did have friendly service but messed up the order. Soft serve is more like mush. One time my soft serve cherry dip looked like a cow flap was dipped as it was that flat. I had what I thought was a twist called a twirl and consistency was more like a milkshake. I threw it out. Will admit the coffee ice cream was very good. One medium swirl, 1 mini swirl, medium cup ice cream, small kiddie ice cream $26.

I like this place! It seems to stay open later than many similar places in the area so we were able to go after work hours. They do have a few non dairy ice cream options which is a great thing to find and much appreciated in such a small town area! I hope in the future they get even more! I like that you can choose from a variety of toppings so even if the choice of flavor is limited, you can customize. The sizes are substantial, the first time I went there, I overestimated my ability to finish my serving! It's definitely worth going to from neighboring towns! The people are always very nice and patient about answering questions about the menu, too!

I've been here twice, both times have been less than good. Yesterday they gave me a cone that was already melted and only had about an inch of ice cream on top. Neither the manager nor the wait staff have customer service skills. The manager yesterday was berating the staff member over and over for a simple mistake. How they stay in business is beyond me

Endless options to choose from! Pictured is Raspberry Sorbet & Orange Sherbert. We visited the very sweet & social horses while we were there with our dog. Great picnic tables to. Best place to go!

Great ice cream! We had a huge cornet with Moose Tracks, and chocolate salt caramel. Very delicious!!!

Overpriced...rude people and bad service. Ordered two ice creams. One I got in a homemade waffle cone, the cone already had a hole in it when it was handed to me and was dripping ice cream. Waffle cones they make are not made well...super thin and barely able to hold ice cream. But anyways I came back to get my wife an ice cream, as she was waiting in the car, and the after sitting there a while the lady at the window says to me 'you were just here, what do you want?" Is there something I can help you with quick or do you want to order again, I'm busy!" She was currently getting the orders of 3 people, not that busy but whatever. I made jokes to look past the rudeness in the moment and let it roll off but wow how rude are these people. Not a way to be if you want to make money. In the course of this rude exchange I realized I was overcharged for my third ice cream. Another thing, my wife and I had a kid with us, and the kid was whining for a little toy they were selling at the window (as kids often do) And the employees there were instigating and try to guilt me into buying the toy for the child. I'm like are you serious??? Wow so unprofessional. Won't be coming back here

Visited it during a Family Reunion, was served promptly, and the ice cream was delicious. A great place to stop by for a treat on vacation.

RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL STAFF -- string found in ice cream and staff made me feel guilty and crazy for bringing it back and telling them about it. Look at attached photo for what they said was "congealed syrup" and not a string. Giving 2 stars because ice cream was tasty and giving them benefit of the doubt that I caught them on a bad day. Details: I don't know if I caught them on a bad day, but they had the rudest staff. I never leave reviews but had to share this experience because it was absurd. I ordered a strawberry flavored hard ice cream and I went to my car to eat it. And when I scooped it with my spoon I found a string and pulled a bit out but there was more all stuck in the ice cream and I didn't like the idea of eating literal thread. So I brought it back and said very nicely like "hey this is weird, I'm sorry but I found a string in my ice cream"... and the guy working the counter said "that's probably just strawberry syrup that congealed" and gave me attitude for expressing my concern and completely denying what was clearly not food in my ice cream Then this other woman working behind the counter asked him what was wrong and he told her that there was congealed syrup and I had a problem with it... which again was not true. And this woman had the audacity to say in the most sarcastic and rude tone "well just do what she wants!! Gotta make her happy! Gotta make her happy!" It was so awkward I was just like in disbelief at how rude they were. They did end up scooping me a different cup of ice cream and I regret taking it, I should have left the place when the woman started going off. I'd rather drive 15 min to the next ice cream place than ever go back here again.

Amazing Service! No matter if it's ice cream or iced coffee, it always comes out perfect! The price is just right for what you served. 10/10 would go again!

This place is great! Kind staff and a ton of options for everyone. There's a lot of picnic style seating options as well. I got a medium cone and it was delicious, definitely big for the price you pay.

I fancy myself quite the soft serve aficionado, and I think I've found the BEST soft serve here at Nellies! Admittedly, I've only tried the vanilla soft serve because every time I go, I can't resist it. Try their homemade waffles cones, just delicious! This place has ruined me for every other ice cream spot in the area! Side note, during Covid, they really take extra steps for your safety, appreciate that! I seriously don't understand the poor reviews here, maybe it's just the vanilla soft serve that's good? I don't believe it!

No. Just no. the ice cream has icicles in it, and the triple chocolate was a disappointment (how do you go wrong with chocolate chocolate and more chocolate?) just tasted like cheap ingredients. never again!

What a great little icecream shop with home made cones and delicious, generous helpings.

Don't go here if you want to eat delicious, tasty, creamy ice cream. I got the coffee kahlua brownie and salted caramel icecream. The coffee kahlua was ok but not super flavorful. The salted caramel was tasteless and had chunks of ice in it and was clearly freezer burnt. I want my calories back!

The staff was great and gave great advice with flavors. We all loved our ice cream. Would recommend!

Best ice cream I. Town! They're homemade cones are to die for and the almond joy ice cream is the best I've ever had. We love going and visiting the horse with our kids too!

I visited this place for my second time today and both times I have been the worker has been very rude and pushy. There were no other customers around so there was no need to be in a rush yet she made me feel like a burden. We ordered a sundae to share and she made it very quickly so it came out very sloppy and unappetizing. Will not visit again

Let's just say, some homemade ice creams are good, and some are not. Two of the four of our ice creams we're almost unrecognizable and inedible. Chocolate Butterfinger didn't taste like chocolate at all. Texture was weird, flavors were off. Other people seemed to enjoy theirs...so I guess we were just unlucky with our choices.
