BOGO breakfast burrito coupon
Brief history - Naugles was founded by former Del Taco partner, Dick Naugle. Naugles merged with Del Taco in 1988, and soon after all Naugles locations became Del Tacos by 1995. In 2015, Christian Ziebarth, Josh Maxwell & Dan Dvorak acquired the trademark & reopened Naugles in Fountain Valley. Naugles was known for their "Macho" designation, now used by Del Taco.
This location has seen a revolving door of tenants, ever since Wendy's shut down a little after the time of the fake "finger in the chili" incident. Alberto's, a Chinese takeout, an Indian fast food eatery & a a taqueria are the ones I remember. Naugles is the latest, and it sorta reminds me of Del Taco/Alberto's, with a liberal amount of bro-ness from Chronic Tacos. Being open for several months, I noticed the beverage station only had 3 soda options available.

Breakfast burritos (Steak combo & steak and egg)-

Both burritos were plump & hefty, just lacking in a little sophistication. Steak, eggs, cheese & sauce in the steak & egg burrito, steak, beans, cheese & sauce in the steak combo burrito. I would've preferred onions, pico de gallo and/or hashbrowns. Still, they were filling, and would make 2-3 meals for most people.

Service was good. It seemed like the staff were still in training, as the cashier had to ask his manager how to ring up the BOGO coupon. Plus, the aforementioned lack of sodas at the beverage station. Plenty of parking, with drive-thru available.
Naugles is a place I would've frequented as a kid/teenager after school. Food in quantity, not exactly in quality. A working man's/women's place, if you're picking up what I'm putting down. As I have no nostalgia for the place, with memories through rose-colored glasses, I don't have an affinity for Naugles. If I have a coupon at the ready, then I may perhaps come by again, and explore the rest of their menu.
