A must go to in Mashpee! The ‘iced mocha latte’ was one of the best beers I’ve ever had - a blonde stout. The ‘cape creamsicle’ was also delicious. Excellent drinks with great staff and service. We also caught a comedy gig up at their stage above (I think a gig is on every Friday for the summer - one to check out)

5oz - 10oz pours available of over a dozen delicious beers including pilsners, lagers and wheat beers. Lovely gluten free options available. The kitchen really shines with wonderful bar pies, tacos and superb chicken wings. The chef takes the time to lollipop the chicken for perfect bits and makes delicious sauces in house. Family and dog friendly. The 5oz pours start around the 3$ making the value alone worth the trip. Local stand up and band’s supported too. Great experience

Google
Extensive collection of beer. (As expected). Really good live music. (And I'm not a fan of live music) Food was ok. Pepperoni pizza was awesome and highly recommended. Clam chowder, pretty good. Tacos didn't get a good score but that was from the very fussy member of our troupe . View of the lake is a 10. Lots of free parking. Easy to find. I'd recommend it. Service was as expected in a brewery. Overall 4 plus

Comfy place, the beer is great! Prices are fair! I like when they have live music!

Google
Pros: The entertainment & atmosphere were great. The drinks were good & most of the staff were very kind. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Naukabout. Cons: The parking was difficult. There were only two handicap spots for the entire venue. The food was placed on a random table & I had to find it. It took an hour to come out & was cold when I got it. Some of the seating is on a hill, so it’s slanted, which created some slight uncomfortability when sitting on the wooden benches. People had to crowd in as standing room was limited.

Google
Good atmosphere , good beer . There’s another brewery in the area and this one is significantly better with no limits on food or drinks. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because we ordered a pizza half pepperoni and half cheese . It came out full pepperoni and nothing was done about it .

We took a wrong turn heading towards our original destination and thank goodness that happened. This place turned out to be a great first stop on a rainy weekend getaway in the Cape. They have a huge menu heavy on the IPAs. Everything we tasted was great. I loved the Blueberry Pie Milkshake IPA so much that I bought a 4-pack to go. The outdoor space is really nice! Everything is very much socially distanced. Each table has a huge umbrella, so you can stay in the shade or stay dry when it rains. Service was very friendly and efficient. I recommend this brewery to anyone in the area!

Google
Day 1 on the cape called for clouds so the beach can wait! We loaded the fam up and took a trip to this neat little brewery. Fun landscaping and several tiers of seating made for a great spot! We were the only ones here but I can see the place jumping’ when it’s busy. Thanks for the breakfast brews and a fun late morning in August, Naukabout!

Yelp
How fun is this place? Quaint and laid back. Weird beers, weird beer-based drinks, pubby food and really delightful staff. Wine slushies for the kid in you. The brat was REALLY GOOD! Served in a buttered and toasted bun. DELICIOUS. If you are shlepping around with nothing to do... waltz in! Just worth the visit!
google avatar

Dawn P.

Yelp
Great selection of beer and food along with wine slushies. They have an indoor area along with a large outdoor area and Bar with plenty of picnic tables and seating outside.

Yelp
Naukabout Brewery and Taproom Is a great place to try a new brew, hang out with friends in a fun indoor and outdoor space. They have some good brew bites as well as an emphasis on community involvement. Not only do they have some fantastic beers they have some great hard seltzers as well. I've always found the service to be friendly, attentive and fun! And this is a great place to just connect with friends and family, have fun and take a little pressure off our hectic lives. So if you're up in Mashpee make sure you check it out!

Yelp
Great beer, staff, and snacks. We love the live music and events as well! 10/10 favorite brewery on / off cape

Yelp
What a great local brewery. We really enjoyed all the levels of outdoor seating that terraced up the hill. it is sort of hidden and off the beaten path, which always adds to the appeal for me. There is plenty of parking, brightly colored walls and decorations and shade areas, and several places to order a beer. I am not the biggest fan of heavy beers or stout, but they had quite a few and they had great clever names on them! I can't speak for them but I did like the other lighter lagers and drafts that we tried. We did a flight of IPAs and loved loved loved them! While it is right next to a small body of water, it is a shame that they cannot connect to it or allow you to bring beer over there. Super pretty to look at and very scenic nonetheless!
google avatar

Danny L.

Yelp
What a gem. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and great ambiance to capture the Cape feel. Enjoy many beers and seltzers on tap with ample selection to make anyone satisfied. If you're not sure, ask for a sample and/or a flight. Thankfully, I sampled their Dunes on the Cape Milkshake IPA. I was hesitant to try this because it's marketed as a Piña Colada IPA and didn't want something sweet. Holy goodness, this was unbelievable, with strong notes of pineapple and coconut. Fun beer - I grabbed a four pack to go as well as a hat bearing the beer's name. Outdoor space is open with numerous picnic tables with umbrellas. There are multiple tiers to their patio to spread out find a seat. Check out the music schedule because we were fortunate to arrive during their live music on Saturday afternoon. If you're hungry, they have food (get the pretzel bites). Highly recommended. Don't forget to grab some swag and crowlers.

Yelp
The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere was so lovely! It was still somewhat cold outside but you can tell it's got to be a fun place to hang out during the summer and nicer weather. They said they have the igloos up outside in the winter too! The beer is yummy! Can't speak for the food because we didn't eat but the vibes were great overall!

Yelp
Love It!!! I visit the Cape often, grew up in Bourne. Always stop for the fun and beer!!!

Yelp
We visited Naukabout on a late weekday afternoon. We had a couple solid IPAs and a tasty mango passionfruit shandy. Multiple outdoor seating areas. Sitting outside in a beautiful setting, drinking a good beer, what more could you want? Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend checking out.

Yelp
Cool brewery on Cape located conveniently in Mashpee. They have lots of parking, some good food options and really good beer. Their outdoor seating is plentiful, which allows for table service. There is also the option to order beers at the bar and seat yourself. They allow for tasters, but unfortunately don't serve flights on the weekends which was super disappointing. It seems bizarre since most people exploring the Cape are wanting to try different beers and are usually going to be doing so on the weekends. I think that making this small change would make for a drastic improvement. I definitely would bring more people here when they were visiting if they offered that option. Otherwise, super cool spot!

Yelp
One of my fave new(ish) places on the cape! Went with the pals and we had such an amazing time being outside and playing connect four, jenga and of course cornhole! The beers and snacks were also on point and price appropriate. Cannot wait to keep coming back here and introducing more ppl to this place!

Chris D.

Yelp
Good place to get a brew. Outdoor picnic tables makes for a nice atmosphere and true Cape experience. I tried several beers, watermelon beer was really good. However, the menu was weak and the food was horrible. My son got the taco and he said it was the worst taco he has ever eaten. I got the pizza, it was disgusting. Truly inedible.
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
Great drink selection for adults and the small plate style food was delicious. The hot dog with clam chowder was delicious. Wish they had a few more non alchoholic options for people that aren't drinking.
google avatar

Yelp
Great little hangout restaurant and beer company. Most of the seating is outside on different levels of a hill and some down below and a couple spots inside. There is always a great selection of beers and snack foods such as pretzel bites, clam chowder, chips and dips, lobster rolls, stuffed quahogs and some kids snacks with juice boxes. We love coming here and bringing our friends esp with kids. There are yard games and such to keep them occupied and sometimes live music.

Anastasia D.

Yelp
Awesome little brewery! Came here off season and got some great beers, played some games and played music bingo. Service was great. They also have ciders and seltzers. I bet this place is even more amazing in the summer with the patio facing the river and live music! Will definitely be back. Side note: LOVE their logo.

Yelp
Naukabout Beer Company is a craft brewery that opened in Mashpee, Massachusetts in March 2018. It was founded by business partners Brook Conley, Peter Murner and Mark Germani. The three had originally founded the Naukabout Music Festival in 2008 before conceiving the idea of opening a brewery. The Naukabout beer brand was officially founded in 2012, but it would take several more years before their brewing facility opened to the public. The name "Naukabout" comes from Conley's father. After a long day at work, the elder Conley would tell his sons to change out of their "work-a-bout" shoes and into their "nauk-a-bouts", an accented version of the term "knockabouts". Essentially it means to do what you love to do when you are finished doing what you have to do. Additional partners Greg Sellers and Russ Gentile were brought into the fold, and Leif Rotsaert was hired as the head brewer. The founders' goal was to capture the spirit of Cape Cod in a can... a beer can, that is. My wife and I visited Naukabout Beer for the first time in July 2019. We had visited a couple of other breweries on the Cape, and Naukabout was our last stop of the day. They had a beautiful taproom and a very large outdoor biergarten; very impressive setup. Unfortunately, Naukabout doesn't offer beer flights but they do offer short pours. The brewery had a very impressive draft offering. A great deal of their offerings were my favorite style: Hazy New England IPAs. I had trouble picking what I wanted to sample. I ended up sampling four different ones, but my favorite was "Millie Vanillie": a New England Vanilla Milkshake IPA. I ended up purchasing some canned four-packs of "Rail Trail" (a New England IPA) and "Black Beach" (an Imperial Chocolate Stout) to take home. I think it's safe to say that Naukabout is my favorite brewery on the Cape. I've made a point to stop in on all subsequent visits to the area.

Yelp
A great brewery with plenty of beer styles to sample and within walking distance to Mashpee pond. They offer indoor seating with large TVs but the best seats are outside on their tiered rock patios. The outdoor seating is vast with space to spread out. The beer options are plentiful with in house draft or cans to take with you. The beer is very good but in some cases did not live up to the description. For example the Dunes of the Cape - Pina Colada Milkshake IPA did not present with any notes of coconut or pineapple. However the Salmon Pants - Strawberry Hefe was so good that we bought a four pack of cans to take home. It has a great balance of strawberry and raspberry flavor and perfect for a hot summer beach day. Don't pass by this brewery without stopping in to check out their offerings and take a quick walk through the path in the woods to checkout Mashpee Pond.

Yelp
This place is so much fun and is very well laid out with lots of relaxing spots for you to enjoy their delicious brews. You can even sit overlooking a beautiful lake. If you like IPAs you will not be disappointed here. The food is very good we even enjoyed our 1st quohog! We saw a lot of families with kids as well as they have games to keep them occupied. Give it a try!

Yelp
Our first time here- Wonderful location and facility, both inside and out. Beer and food were equally great- as was our server/bartender, one Craig. (I asked his name, telling him I was going to review him as 'terrible! Just the Worst!') He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Will be back, when anywhere nearby.

Yelp
Really enjoyed it here. Perfect rainy day activity. The beers and seltzers I had were good. The pretzel bites with the cheesy dip were bomb too. Service was great.

Yelp
This place has so much potential to be awesome... Great outdoor seating with wooden tables and benches, nice decor, cool souvenirs, etc. However, the beer itself fell short in our opinion. Here's my 3 main reasons you should skip a visit to this "brewery": 1. The beer menu is exclusively non-traditional flavored beers. So if don't like the taste of beer and preferred it mixed with other flavors such as strawberry, blueberries, or Pina colada, then you are in the right place. For us, we prefer to drink beer that is done well and taste like beer. 2. $7 for a small 10 oz pour is a bit steep - you can easily rack up the bill when you are trying to find a good one to drink. 3. Slow service on 'food' - due to COVID19, they must offer food with drinks. So they have a limited menu for this rule... who knew prepackaged Hummus/salsa with a bag of chips and hot dogs could take more than 30 min to prepare?! It's safe to say we'll be skipping this one next time we are in the area.

Yelp
Liked their nauk about a woman sour. Wish they had it in the crowler to go. Settled for the margarita seltzer which was good too. Great atmosphere and service.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
This Place would be great if - 1. 10oz beers (only option) didn't cost $7 2. There were more than 5 food options (2 of which were out of stock) The beer options are unique and plentiful. There's some stuff here that I've never seen before and I would have loved to try more had they had flight options. The pale ale was good and I'd be happy to drink it again. The Millie Vanillie milkshake was too sweet for my liking but very unique nonetheless. The outdoor patio is huge and social distancing isn't difficult. Would have been nice had they had a high chair for my little one.
google avatar

Ron C.

Yelp
I came here yesterday and sampled pretty much all their IPA's. The Virtual: Hair Cut and their DIPA really stood out. The 1972 was also delicious. Their wasn't one beer here that wasn't fantastic. The outdoor seating here is great and the service was spot on. I find it annoying that the state is forcing breweries to serve food. I opted for the salsa and pita chips. I thought $5 was a bargain for this as you get an entire jar of salsa and a pretty big bag of pita chips. I definitely plan on returning in the near future.

Yelp
Great beer (mainly Ipas) with live music=good vibes. The people working here are really friendly and the regulars seem like cool folks.
google avatar

Sandy S.

Yelp
Great little place to stop and grab a brew. We were there late afternoon and the crowd was light. Great selection and it looks like they are well set up for music indoors and outdoors. We will have to stop back for a listen!

M P.

Yelp
I like my Hops, this place serves them up with overkill. 2 - 3 years ago we ( another IPA lover and I) were excited to travel over to Mashpee to check out the place. We each got a flight, tasted, and ordered the one we liked best and 2nd choice. When we got the 2nd round we realized we couldn't taste one from the other, the overkill. Disappointment. 1st Shocker we were served 12 OZ pours 2nd Shocker they charged what we would pay for a Premium PINT any Brewery East of there. Party On -M

Yelp
Well this was a fun little cape find! My family of four took a road trip out to the cape and found Naukabout Brewery. The menu looked like it would satisfy all of us, so we found our way there. My favorite part was the outdoor setup. There were plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas to code from in multiple sections. The informal ness of the set up made it easy with two young kids. There's a window to order brews and a table to order food. The food gets brought to you when it's done (be sure to look for your section number before making your way to the table), and it came out pretty quickly. We got the pretzel bites to share. I'm the only one to try the dips, one of which did nothing for me. However the beer cheese dip was awesome! I also ordered the clam chowder as did my 7 year old. We both really liked it. My husband raved about the chili and my 4 year old was very happy to eat his hot dog. The beer was pretty good too. My husband's choice were a little bla, but he's a basic bloke and was happy with them. I got the dunes of the cape and milli vanilli milkshake brews. Honestly, these were pretty amazing and not like anything I have tried before. I'm kicking myself for not having even looked into getting a four pack of either! A great little detail of our day was that they had live music playing on a Saturday afternoon. It was a nice vibe on a beautiful cape day!

William K.

Yelp
Great ambiance, location and beer. Food was definitely the worst food I have had on the cape though. I came here for. Dinner n drinks and was severely disappointed. Come here for drinks and maybe an appetizer of beer pretzels. Don't come here for a meal.
google avatar

Justin T.

Yelp
I will let the Cape Cod brewers in on a secret. The rest of Massachusetts, New England, pours either 12 ounce or pint beers. I forgot that the Cape short poured everything. Down here, the breweries pour 10 ounces or less and charge full price, good money for it. My wife asked for a half pour 5 oz, I took a full pour, 10 oz.. We ordered two IPAs. We were charged for two full pours at almost $ each. $14 for 15 oz total. The double ipa is not what I expected, thin and light. Both were not brewed in the traditional way and did not taste like IPA styles that we have locally. Central Massachusetts has some great breweries. Folks, head up to Holden, or Westminster or Charlton or many other places. Woonsocket RI has great double IPA. This beer did not resemble what we are familiar with.
google avatar

Kristina P.

Yelp
I first tried Naukabout's beer at a festival last year but never made it around to the brewery! So after biking the canal I decided to take the short drive to Mashpee and check it out! The property is very Cape Cod! Lots of natural wood and nautical themes going on. They have food trucks wed-sat/sun? and recently stopped on Tuesdays(my visit was on a Tuesday.) However they did offer animal crackers to snack on while trying some of their great beers! My fave was the Y'all Open! I also liked their milkshakes series IPAs, I tired the blueberry one. The staff was friendly, and acknowledged everyone even if you weren't served right away. They have tons of cute merchandise too, I ended up buying one of their hats and some Y'all Open togo(they have plenty of 4-packs!) If you're on the Cape, check them out!
google avatar

Lydie D.

Yelp
Great beer selection and an awesome outdoor area. Good for groups and families-feels very tucked away, like a fort or treehouse
google avatar

D M.

Yelp
Great spot to hang, friendly employees. There was a pizza pop up there and people were enjoying that. I sampled 3 of their IPAs and none of them were very good or really tasted much like IPAs at all. Still, cool set up.
google avatar

Joelle B.

Yelp
This place is so nice! Clean and new looking. Beer was great and food was even better. The lobster roll is amazing and the pretzel bites were awesome too. Service was fast and everyone was super nice. Games for kids and lots of space to move around. Definitely will be going back in the future.

Brews D.

Yelp
If you like Seltzer and IPAs you'll be fine. They have six of each. A brewery should offer something across the rest of the basic beer spectrum. You cant find an Amber, Red, Brown, Porter, Dunkel, etc. Been a few times, always disappointed. Great facility. No dogs ;o(. Yet they are often very busy, so what do I know? B
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
I agree with past reviews: this place has so much potential. Super cute space, live the outdoor movie screen, friendly bartender and staff, ample parking. If you look at the lower reviews, there is definitely a trend: 1. Beer is only about 10 oz for $7 - aside from being over priced, most people want a decent sized beer when sitting down to enjoy a drink. Serve a pint, and I am sure it won't be dead on a Friday night in June. 2. Lots of choices, but the majority were IPAs and fruity beer. If that's what you like, great, but more variety appeals to more types of people. 3. Breweries should have flights. I've been to many breweries, and this is the first that didn't have that option. It makes it fun to do a tasting. So, cute place, but I would not return unless they changed to more reasonable sized pour and more variety of style on tap.
google avatar

Kim W.

Yelp
-Beers are great, lots of IPAs -Board games to play -Great outdoor area -Bar snacks aplenty (animal crackers and pretzels!) -Routinely work with food trucks for other snack/food options -Bartenders are super friendly and let you try before you buy -Pours can be a little pricey, they don't use the standard 16oz glass, I think 12oz maybe? -love this place.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Awesome beers! Stopped in to try a few and take some cans/ crowlers to go! We loved the double beach hair and welcome to cape cod. Very smooth. The atmosphere was awesome with tons of outside seating, umbrellas, lights etc. Wish we could have stayed!
google avatar

Cara F.

Yelp
My sister and I visited on a beautiful day in late August. The bartender inside was lovely and the atmosphere outside was even better! Great beer - will definitely be back next time!
google avatar

Dawn D.

Yelp
Shit ass place completely suck because reservations or not they ignore you. Waited and never got called for OVER 2 hours FUCK a this place. I would give NEGATIVE stars if I could. Don't waste your time
google avatar

D C.

Yelp
I wish I could've tried their beers! But they tried to "interpret" Baker's new restaurant law as requiring every visitor who orders a drink as also being required to order an entree, even though the rule says: "For each customer, an item of prepared food must be ordered at the same time as an initial alcoholic beverage(s) order. One or more shareable food item(s) may be ordered, as long as it/they would sufficiently serve the number of people at the table." So, when they tried to force all of us to order individual food items at 4:30 PM, we bounced. Would've happily bought more beers, less chips and salsa. Bogus.
google avatar

Jenna M.

Yelp
Great new brewery - a good addition to the local area! They mostly do IPAs and very hops forward drinks but do have some lighter ales and hefes that are absolutely delicious. They play around with fruity flavors in their beverages which makes them very unique! Definitely not something you could buy in your typical liquor store. They also have board games, giant Jenga, and corn hole which makes you want to stay and drink more :) Which I appreciated! Overall - Great location, good atmosphere, super service, and beer I would come back for! Highly recommend checking out this new spot.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
I wanted to give them 5 stars, but $7 for a 10oz plastic cup is non deserving of 5 stars. Positive: they've done an amazing job with the space and expanding outdoors. Very friendly service - everyone was super nice and friendly. Service was slow. I will blame this on covid. With bars and restaurants re-opening in phase 3, not at full capacity, I sure planning & staffing is a major challenge. After we finished our first round, we ordered a 2nd round, took about 15mins to get the 2nd round delivered. So when 2nd round got delivered, we immediately ordered our 3rd and final round, knowing it would be a while, and we timed it perfectly- just a minute after finishing our 2nd beer, our next one came. 10oz pour is 4 sips. Beer selection is great. The beers they have match the profile on all the big new England breweries and the trends. I bought 2-4pks to take home. I think $16/4pk is fair price for the quality of their beers. I first visited this brewery few years ago, when they only had the first small section outside open - everything else outside now was just trees, and I belive we got full pints for same price. Maybe they were 14oz beers... Anyway, if you're OK with paying average of $7 for a 10oz beers, then this place is great. We didn't get any food, so I'm unable to comment on that. If they don't want to serve 16oz beers, then 14oz is fine for $7. Either drop your prices to$5 for 10oz or get bigger cups please. Thank you!

Simone M.

Yelp
If you're up for a relaxing afternoon and you enjoy sampling new beers or hard seltzers, this is the place for you. I enjoyed a beautiful summer day hanging out with family, chomping on some tasty pretzel bites and relishing every sip of creamsicle IPA that I could swig down within moderation! I loved it so much I bought some to take home. There is ample seating and two areas to order beer (main bar/restaurant area and "satellite" bar). The bartenders are friendly and helpful. There were people of all ages - young twenty somethings, couples with babies, parents with older kids, aging hippies - everyone was enjoying themselves and the atmosphere. Will def head back here again.

Yelp
Majority of the beers are IPA. Due to COVID they had a limited food menu. The beers were ok... I am not a huge IPA drinker but we did try their Easy Livin which was ok. It has orange zest notes which we could not taste as it was garnishes with a lemon which overtook the flavor of the beer. It is extremely over priced- $5 for only 10oz!! The reason we gave them a 2 star rating is bc they were extremely inattentive when they were barely busy and we would have tried more beers had someone came to take our order. Very disappointed since we drove a long way to try this place out. We had asked someone if we could get another beer and they asked us to hold on meanwhile a employee spent most of our time socializing with his friends and not focusing on other customers.

Yelp
What a welcomed surprise! We stopped here on our way down to Orleans and boy was I happy we did. The server was a doll. The setting outSide was very nostalgic for me and I felt like a kid at summer camp again. The hummus, pita chips (cedars brand), and the hot dog were such tasty noshes. The pita chips were so yummy that I'm searching high and low for them at every store !! I'm usually a wine /cocktail drinker but I appreciated the fresh fruity macerated beer that I had tried. Our favorite was the raspberry. Delightful! Thanks for such a lovely experience. Can't wait to come back!! Cheers!

Yelp
Such a fun brewery! I went with my friends on a rainy Sunday and it did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly helpful identifying which of the many beers on tap we would like the most. There was plenty of room inside and out for everyone with games and food trucks that weren't too packed. Can't wait to come back soon!

Yelp
Highly anticipated for myself personally. It's a laid back, intimate environment with indoor and outdoor options! They have corn hole and an extra large Jenga game outside which I thought was an amazing idea! Nice variety of beers. I tend to like pale ales and blondes but am slowly growing fond of IPA's/double IPA's, so this is a great place to find some new favorites and still branch out and try something new! You can get 5 oz or 10 oz and I find it's reasonably priced. Staff is kind and helpful and I've had one conversation with one of the managers. He was a veteran himself, I found out. My party had someone who is in the army, stationed over in Germany and he personally went over to shake his hand and offer him a free beer and chat with us for a bit. There are food trucks outside, but I always seem to miss them as I usually go between 7-8 PM. That's a bummer. They have little snacky things like animal crackers or pretzels to munch on on the tables inside. This place is really cool and I look forward to seeing it evolve more and establish itself in the Cape Cod community!

Yelp
The outdoor space here is awesome. Tons of room, games, light up trees to add to the vibe. Beer was good, my kid had the chowder and loved it but pretty limited menu. Live music is a plus. Easy to get location, not much parking. I plan to return.
