Nautika

"Put on your glad rags and head to this beautifully restored former maritime school with its marble, antiques and live piano: the place to be seen in the city. Ask for a seat on the terrace to enjoy formal dining with a delightful sea view. Cooking has a classical base but comes with contemporary twists." - Michelin Inspector

"Rightby the Pile Gate, in a beautifully restoredmaritime school, Restaurant Nautika feels special even before you taste the food. With mesmerizing views of Kolorina Bay beyond and Lovrijenac Fortress looming overhead, this elegant restaurant has a fresh spark about it. The chef often does the marketing himself, browsing the stalls at the local market fororganic and locally grown produce and freshly caught seafood—the only ingredients used at Nautika. The kitchen works magic with the ultra-local stuff, turningout small wonders like lobster medallions andsesame-crusted tuna. The inspiredcuisine, especiailly when coupled with the location make theNautika experience nothing short of spectacular. (If the view isn't enough, you can occasionally spot celebrities among your fellow diners.)"

What can you say? Great food, impeccable service and one of the nicest atmospheres you can ask for. Yes, it’s expensive, but as my Dad always said, you get what you pay for. Cocktails are stunning, try the Croat, it’s like theatre, and had both taster menus. Highlights, sea bass, veal cheek and the desserts were insane. Other little things, the cuddly blankets when we got a little chilly, the live pianist and singer, and a sommelier at hand to offer help their enormous wine list (it was literally a hard back book). One of the highlights of the holiday, but please don’t expect a cheap meal.

Had the Beef Charolais Fillet - medium rare. Henry was kind enough to shave some truffle on top when my friend didn’t want it on her meal but I said it was my absolute favourite. The steak just melted in my mouth. Compliments from the chef were an absolute highlight as we received a starter to cleanse our palette and dessert. The upstairs outside atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, with scenes of the old town and the ocean. The service was amazing as they were attentive to what we enjoyed and didn’t enjoy, and informed us of the meal we were having. It is a pricey restaurant but the quality of everything is amazing.

As recommended by the Michelin guide, this dinner had been highly anticipated since our arrival in Dubrovnik, and it exceeded our expectations. • The elegant patio provided the perfect setting to admire the stunning Adriatic Sea views. Each dish was masterfully prepared, presenting a delightful balance of flavors and aesthetics. The service was exemplary, with refinement, attentiveness, and precision, ensuring a truly exceptional culinary experience in a sophisticated setting. • MICHELIN Guide, please award Restaurant Nautika, Dubrovnik a Michelin Star already as this fine establishment truly deserves it.

Excellent food, service, ambiance, and overall experience. Cocktails were excellent and presented table side with dramatic flair. Each course was perfect in taste and artistry. Even the soup was inventive. Our server Antonio was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. Certainly a highlight of our visit to Dubrovnik. Highly recommend.

We dined at Nautika at 6:30 PM, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We were treated to a spectacular progression from full sunlight to a breathtaking sunset, and finally, to the enchanting night view. Experiencing the view at all three times of day truly elevated our evening, making it one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. As avid food enthusiasts, we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. It’s astonishing that Nautika doesn’t yet have a Michelin star because the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service was impeccable—every single waiter was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. It was clear that every detail had been meticulously thought out, adding an extra layer of sophistication to the meal. The menu may be small, but it’s curated with precision, and the wine list? It’s practically an encyclopedia. We took a picture of the wine recommended to us and were so impressed that my partner ordered a case to be delivered to our home while we were still at the restaurant—it was that good! Every dish we tried was amazing, but the bisque stood out as something truly special. I would order it ten times over! Overall, Nautika is worth every penny. Book in advance, and prepare to be wowed by both the food and the experience. We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to return!

Ukusno!!! Super!!! Great dinner. Great location. Great service…Antonio rocks!!! We did the 5 course tasting menu and everything was excellent. I don’t think I knew half of the things I ate, but I know they were yummy.

The food was fabulous, the views breathtaking for a sunset dinner in Dubrovnik. The tuna tartare, shrimp risotto and lobster tail were among the best we’ve ever had. The sour cherry dessert was a perfect finishing touch. Paired with a Croatian white wine, it was the perfect meal. The wait staff was outstanding and the experience stunning. Ask for second-tier seating and cherish every moment — and every bite.

Food was pretty good. Service was excellent. Some notable things were the table cloths which were glorified satin blankets. Made for a very hot evening with lots of sweat. If you go when it’s dark you don’t get to see much of the castles or the scenery around you.
