Had a wonderful dining experience at Nav Chaitanya. Every dish we ordered was absolutely fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The Prawns Tandoori were juicy, well-marinated, and grilled to perfection. Tisrya Bhujane was rich in coastal flavours and tasted authentic. The Pomfret Fry stood out crisp on the outside, soft and fresh inside, clearly made with quality seafood. Even the accompaniments were thoughtfully done refreshing Ratamba, chilled Kaju Bondu Sarbat. Service was efficient- Radhe was the best A great place for seafood lovers who appreciate authentic taste, consistency, and value for money. Definitely worth revisiting! 😌🍤🐟

This place made my Mumbai trip worth it. The seafood was so fresh and absolutely melt in the mouth. We had Bombil Fry, Squid Fry, and Pomfret Thali. The food was sufficient for two people. We also had the drinks - Kokum Sharbat and Kaju Bondu which is their seasonal drink made with the fruit of cashew. The ambience was also great, but do plan your time as this place was crowded till 10 pm on a Monday. Strongly suggest this place to anyone looking to have great seafood in Mumbai!

I went here for their 5th edition of traditional Pangat- An authentic vegetarian meal experience served on a banana leaf to celebrate flavours of the Ganapati festival. It was a unique culinary experience with the taste of tradition with family and friends. I would really like to recommend this place to everyone even for Veg food!

Amazing seafood place in andheri area We had surmai thali and prawns fry. Surmai thali was quite good! Balanced taste and good size. Most surprising was the price : 650rs While many places in mumbai have touched 900-1000rs mark while giving very subpar experience. This place has definitely set itself apart. Prawns fry felt but overpriced at 395/- for overall less quantity. Staff was also very hospitable and friendly. Overall 9/10.

My friend and I met for lunch and ordered the Surmai and Veg thali- having done my research on best fish thali spots whilst in the UK- Nav Chaitanya didn’t disappoint. The curried and the fried fish was just delicious and the bakri roti was so soft. Endless Solkudhi offered. Superb friendly service from Salman too- highly recommend when you need an authentic fish thali fix

We were a group of three and had a really wonderful dining experience. We ordered two thalis — the Pomfret Thali and the Surmai Thali — and both were excellent. We also tried a few crab starters, which were delicious and very well prepared. To end the meal, we had the modak, and it was definitely a highlight — a must-try! Overall, great food and a satisfying experience.

As a first time traveller in Mumbai, I didn't know any good restaurants, went here because it was recommended by friends and what can I say other than it's honestly the best seafood I've had in my life. I've already gone again in 2 days and plan to go again before leaving. The fish is extremely fresh; as a newcomer I told the server that I didn't know what to order except I knew I wanted to eat tandoori crab. They were extremely helpful, kept checking in if everything was okay and the service was a 10/10. I ate tandoori crab and a pomfret thali the first day. Crab was 10/10 spicy very flavorful and they were helpful enough to break the claws. The pomfret was succulent, flaky, no offensive flavors. Even my wife who is mostly vegetarian ate the fish like she's been eating it for years. A huge testament to this restaurant. The second time we ate Bangda and Rawas thalis. Both were amazing. The bangda fish was so good we ended up ordering a second order of 2 bangda frys. Another 10/10. Had modak as dessert which was also soft, juicy and just lovely. The kokam soda is also the best way to cleanse your palate. In closing I would like to say, if you have any desire to eat seafood, this place is a blind go. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. 100/10.
