They have surely got a great crew working in their kitchen. Authentic and delicious food. Try their spicy dishes, very balanced with aromatic ingredients. I was in Nashville for a business and thought to give it a try. They gotta improve on service crew. Our server seems to be little tired or stressed. He was in a rush for just 2 of us asking to order everything before 9 but in reality we saw he was still taking orders beyond 9pm 😆. Anyway, great location, atmosphere and food. Gonna go again if I in Nashville.

To start, I want to recognize the amazing service provided by Joe! From the time I called to make a reservation for a party of 12, to increasing it day of to 18, he handled everything so professionally! Some in my group had never had Indian food before, so he gave us a tour of the menu and answered questions. We had a few folks from India in the group and they commented that it was a good mix of northern and southern Indian food! Everyone agreed the food was delicious and many are already planning a return trip soon! Everyone was also paying separately and it could not have gone smoother! Thanks to all of the staff that helped make this experience so memorable!

Google
A new favorite! Not your average Indian buffet at all. Sure they have the usual Tandoori, Naan and Butter Chicken (which is excellent) but the buffet primarily features a a lot of wonderful items I’ve never had the pleasure to try and enjoy! They had 4-5 different biryanis, a goat soup, Palak Pakora and so many other tasty treats. The service is excellent and while the dining area is very spacious the atmosphere feels cozy. Enjoyed dinner here a few weeks ago and their Lamb Korma and Saag Paneer are out of this world!

Google
Food: Gobi Manchirian dry is one of the best in town. We ordered for medium spice and it was perfect. A must try Veg fried rice - we customized with no pepper and it was nice. Poori Chole - it come with 2 pieces and chole is nice We went for lunch buffet again today and butter chicken, tandoori chicken were must have. Vegetarian was splendid - sambar, Adam and paneer butter masala are the best in town. Parking for 10 cars

I had Chicken Vijaybada Biriyani before and the picture is indicated in the plate which was preety nice. I loved that very much and I ordered Bucket Chicken Vijayvada Biriyani yesterday from Uber eats but it was not same. I feel it was not of same quality. I was disappointed for this and was curious to know if we get same Biriyani or not in the Bucket.

Google
There were very limited options to choose in buffet! If you have mild taste choices then it’s a good pick for you! However, if you are an Asian and looking for an authentic Indian food then it’s better to look for other options! The atmosphere is average, washrooms throw out a nasty smell! Taking about food and a spicy food lover, I would say Diet Coke and cut up oranges are the best to eat 😂. Oh my god my stomach hurts! 😂😂

Google
Amazing food! I had it delivered and it was still hot and fresh! Great prices and big selection too. Excited to try the tikka masala next time!

Google
- Good location, - Limited free parking - Service is not that great - Buffet price is reasonable low - Food quality is good - Staffs are welcoming in nature - Mango lassi was way sour test - they refunded - they gives water bottle which is very good -

Yelp
Variety of southern and northern Indian curries, breads, dosas/uthappas, and biryani. Also some Manchurian dishes. Vegetarian and meat-containing options. Servers are mostly from the Goa region of India and are friendly but there can be a language barrier if you want to ask a ton of questions so if you are unsure this is a good place to ask them to recommend for you. Lunch buffet has soooo many options and is a great way to get a sampling of 7 or 8 flavors

Yelp
Nawabi is great! Try it! Our only regret is that we waited so long to order the food and we're leaving Nashville in two weeks.

Yelp
Butter Masala [with chicken] was perfectly seasoned and the requested chicken breast [in the Door Dash app] was tender and palatable. I like when a business allows modifications and changes to your liking. They really paid attention to the spice level as well. In my old age, I'm veering away from too-spicy foods and this one was just right. The dish also came with a fair amount of rice, though it was a stretch to share just one between two people. The Butter Masala was tomatoey, with thick gravy and the chicken breast was cooked in the tandoor oven. There were no hiccups in this order, smooth order through delivery...and fast! Will be returning soon!

Yelp
A hidden gem for Indian food in Nashville! All the ingredients are so fresh and spices are flavorful. They told us that all their ingredients come fresh from India. For appetizers, I got the Masala Dosa and it was huge! It was so delicious - the thin crepe was perfect with potatoes and sauces on the side to dip. The dosa's are a must try! For entrees, the chicken tikka masala was a burst of flavor and so yummy. The sauce was sooo good. The chicken pieces tasted fresh as well. One of the best tikka masala's I've had in Nashville! Service was fantastic and the team there is so nice. We had Avi as our server and he gave great recommendations and was so attentive to our table. Thank you Avi for a great experience! It was one of our friend's birthday and the team came to sing happy birthday and the pumpkin cheesecake was delicious. They said it was homemade with spices from India.

Yelp
First off, best biriyani I had in a while. Came here for takeout and got the goat dum biriyani. Suuuper tasty. Right amount of spicy level for my palate and my partner's. It's got the perfect amount of meat to rice ratio. Most places put more rice than meat and that's just a rip off for the price tag. This place isn't that, it was definitely liberal and I loved it for that. Definitelly would come here multiple times if I lived in the area. Staff are super friendly and the seating and music felt good to dine in and enjoy their lunch buffet that we saw they had every day. A must if I came again. Parking right outside and convenient. Cute little balcony for days when the weather is more friendly to eat outside.

Yelp
Wonderful food! The ambiance is very fancy and formal. Beautiful establishment. It's self served buffet is quick and easy to use and the waiters on stand by are very helpful.

Yelp
I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and not a single item disappointed as everything was excellent! Super fresh food, authentic, and the spices and aroma really knocked the food out of the ballpark. If you are dining in, I highly recommend getting the Dosa. In particular, my table for the Masala Dosa, recommended by our server, and it did not disappoint! Fantastic portion size and when they first brought it out, I thought I ordered the wrong thing. The Masala Dosa is a thin savory crepe (perfect crisp that breaks right off) and it was stuffed with potatoes that we then dipped in the sauces. I also recommend getting the Korma sauce, which goes well with Lamb or Goat. Korma is a cashew sauce with spices. We got both meats in the Korma sauce and shared it and it was great. To go with the entrees, we got the Garlic Naan and it had a good amount of garlic and was not too thick in flour, which I liked. Dip that into the sauce and that is the way to go! I saw that they had a lunch buffet so I definitely need to come back to try that. For parking, there is a small lot - we didn't have trouble finding a spot there.

Yelp
After I walked in I waited 10 minutes I was not greeted once or acknowledge despite multiple staff walking right past me. I certainly wasn't seated and the place was dead. This place needs to sort its shit out. One star and will never come back.

Brittany N.

Yelp
Flavorful. Fresh. Delicious. Just the right amount of spice and seasoning. Best Indian I've had in Nashville.

Yelp
Great food, ample portions and super attentive service at a reasonable price. Restaurant also have free parking.

Yelp
UPDATED Feb 9th: I had promised to update my review if this restaurant changed /lost their consistency and therefore this review is purely on the changes: 1) Pricing has gone up. *They boasted a 10% discount to everyone for lunch/dinner only until Dec 31st. That increase is equivalent to at least $1.39 increase in the buffet. *They have a weekend price of $16.99 and also a Holiday price. 2) They are no longer serving Chai in their buffet during the week which I had previously highlighted as a great benefit. They claim it wasn't consumed and due to wastage they stopped it. I offered a few suggestions as I had been a F&B Manager in 1 of the largest hotels and fully competent in running F&B cost analysis/Profit & Loss etc... *The food cost of a flask of Tea is approximately only $2 but eliminating it as "wastage" is folly vs the maximum utility a regular patron gets from the enjoyment of a Chai with their meal. The server then debates I don't know if it is $2 but it's a waste. **If wastage is an issue, offer it to the regular patrons, the server argued it was too time consuming and labor intensive to keep doing so. I agreed and that is the whole point of a self-service buffet. Every buffet has wastage which is why the staff get to eat the buffet leftovers. So the argument of it being a waste was moot bcos a loss of $2 is extremely negligible in the grand scheme of how/why a buffet works. ***I also explained that the flask was not working well and I had brought that up several times. To which the server condescendingly said that all the customers didn't know how to press it but instead open up the top.... I told him even I had difficulty pouring it and I was no moron. In fact the very same server arguing with me had previously said they were planning to change out the flask and filled my glass since I kept pressing really hard and very little chai would come out. ****The server non stop just argued over and over bringing up another restaurant "Bombay Palace" condescendingly claiming they weren't even as good etc.... I asked him if he was the owner or Mgr. He said he wasn't. I said I was offering constructive feedback as a regular patron so that he could bring it up to the owner instead of losing a customer that dines there 3x weekly bcos I was NEVER returning to a condescending server that thinks he was better than every customer. He didn't apologize but argued that he wasn't arguing... I paid and walked away. The next time, I'll be dining at the other restaurant across the street bcos they have really great food but most importantly BETTER SERVICE without a server that thinks all customers are dumb. Original Review: I've dined here twice. Once at their lunch buffet when they had just newly opened up, and once for dinner. Pics of buffet/restaurant during lunch buffet when newly opened in October whereas the food pics are from Nov 7th dinner. Lunch Buffet is a good deal for $13. You get a variety of North Indian and South Indian foods (ie Idli, sambhar etc) that no other Indian restaurant in Nashville offers currently. They also offer Masala Chai complimentary which is very authentic and only 2 other restaurants offered that. Just for this I will patronize this restaurant regularly. As for my dinner, I found the Chettinad Chicken a little too sweet which is not how the dish is supposed to be prepared. I was informed that the backup chef was on duty and therefore may have made it differently. The Methi Chicken was good but the Chicken Biryani definitely stole the limelight! It was absolutely aromatic and superb! The Butter Naan was very moist and perfect. ***I do hope that this new restaurant stays consistent on their quality and service in the long run. If they don't, I will update my review to reflect that.

Betsey U.

Yelp
So delicious! I can't wait to come back again and again, next time for the lunch buffet.

Yelp
Dropped in tonight after seeing the sign announced that they had just opened (which, looking at these other reviews, doesn't seem to be the case?) Walking in, I was immediately hit with how authentic the restaurant was. The decor and atmosphere was exactly what I'd expect from a proper Indian restaurant and is something I haven't experienced in as much measure since being in Nashville. A friend and I ordered the mysore masala dosa, goat fry biriyani, gulab jamun and mango lassi. The dosa and biriyani were huge portions (couldn't have finished either alone) for super cheap prices (~13) and tasted great. The mango lassi was a bit thick for my liking and the gulab jamun was pretty standard. Overall would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get some affordable authentic Indian food in Nashville. I'm sure this place will grow rapidly in the coming months.

Yelp
The food was GREAT! Loved the flavor! EVERYTIME I drive through Nashville I'm going to stop there!

Chinmai A.

Yelp
This malai shrimp is too good. We can feel the fresh malai taste in its first bite itself. Shrimp is cooked perfectly and is soaked with the marination very well. I have ordered spice which is perfect for spice lovers. This is one of best appetisers ever eaten. I would suggest to definitely have a bite. Vijayawada chicken biryani is perfect spicy biryani. Rice is very well cooked and tastes amazing. Chicken is very tender, juicy and delicious. Must try dish.

Yelp
Big fan of this place and order fairly regularly. Really good portions in general. I've ordered a goat and a couple of veggie biryanis. All excellent. Their Rasam Soup I'm a huge fan of. Hot! The boneless roast lamb is excellent too and a big portion with large chunks of lamb. Chana Masala also solid. Just vibrant flavors all around. They offer discounts occasionally and have a points system one can sign up for.
google avatar

Batul C.

Yelp
Buffet was incredible. Lots of options, all very delicious. Reasonable price. Great service. Wish I lived in Nashville so I could be a regular goer!
google avatar

Seneca O.

Yelp
Nice, need to be a bit more cleaner. Food was good for lunch. Food was hot, great flavor and ambience!
google avatar

Allyssa N.

Yelp
The food we tried here was incredible. We started with the chicken majestic which was flavorful and spicy. Then we had the tika masala biriyani which was also delicious. Our server recommended these dishes and he was right to do so. Our drinks took kind of long from the bar but it was a busy night. Highly recommend for dining in or takeout!

Spencer M.

Yelp
Told us 10-15 min wait for a to-go order. Not pleased to have waited nearly triple that time estimate. I'd have been pleased to go anywhere else that meant what they said.

Priya K.

Yelp
Food was okay. Service was bad. Took close to 45 mins for food to come out. No one bothered to come to ask if the food was okay or if we wanted something or refill water. Had to go to the front to request for cheque as no one showed up.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
The food was delicious, and our waiter Avinash was the best! He was so patient and receptive.
google avatar

Yelp
We've been looking for a great Indian restaurant and we're happy to find this place! The samosas were amazing, chicken tiki masala was delicious and portions are generous. Awesome service as well! We will definitely be back!

J B.

Yelp
Delicious and generous servings...Amazing selection! The service was pleasant and attentive.

Yelp
The food tasted amazing!! and for my birthday, they all sang to me happy birthday and gave me dessert!! i recommend

Yelp
Really really good lunch Buffett. I'm an Indian food fan and they have stuff I e never had or heard of. Nice place. Great staff. Very happy to have a nashville Indian Buffett again!9
google avatar

Tyler A.

Yelp
Excellent dining experience. Very casual environment and the food was terrific. I've eaten at many Indian restaurants in my day and this one takes the cake.
google avatar

Yelp
I just ordered for the first time from Nawabi. The food was so bad, I'm now heating up a frozen Saffron Road Coconut Curry Chicken. Their Raita was so watered down that it should have been soup. The Naan was good, but hey, who can screw up bread. You can get better Indian food in the frozen section at Publix. I've traveled to India and had better street food. In short, this place is a strong pass.
google avatar

Tahseen H.

Yelp
The rice was a bit too soggy for my taste. I got one of the biryani dishes and the lamb that came with it was all bone, literally no meat on it. The service was nice and I asked them to make it spicy and they did which was nice. The restaurant itself has nice ambiance but I wish they put more meat in their biryanis.

Alex C.

Yelp
A first dinner there for wife, grown son and me: Happy with service - attentive and patient as we absorbed the range of choices. There are many categories of dishes on two sides of a folded menu. I have frequented Indian restaurants for decades, starting in early adult life in NYC: later a fair number later in the Netherlands; in recent years, in Nashville. This one rates very highly! For our taste, a bit too much salt - but otherwise truly wonderful sauces. Lovely fish curry and Samosa Chaat. Great Naan. We will be back to extend the experience. I look forward to their lunch buffet: an opportunity to sample widely in the course of one visit. (On leaving, we were told that on request the food could easily be made with less salt.) Doccherno

Yelp
Food is fantastic and the menu has more options than most south Asian restaurants around here. I've never dined in, only ordered takeout but each time the food has been absolutely delish and still hot and fresh by the time I got home to eat. It seems like the low ratings here are due to bad in-person service. If that's the case, I definitely still recommend for takeout.
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
I've tried Indian takeout from 10 restaurants in Nashville. This beats them all by far. Only dish that has been just okay was vegetable samosa (but the samosa chaat is delicious)

Ruthie C.

Yelp
Went here with my family to celebrate mom's birthday! Wonderful experience with amazing food, and they turned on music for my mom. The prices were JUST right and the food was exquisite!
google avatar

Ethan D.

Yelp
Was in Nashville to hang out with friends, and stopped by on Sunday while waiting for my flight out. Took a bit to figure out how to park my truck in the small parking lot. The ambiance was definitely not a typical Indian restaurant that I'm used to (it was very bright!) but the buffet was top notch, and honestly, it's the food the matters.
google avatar

Jihad B.

Yelp
Dankest mother fuckin indian food in all of Nashville. Not for the feint of heart, this stuff is loaded with dry spices and will hurt as bad coming out as it did going in.

Sue C.

Yelp
The food is always incredible, but it is complemented with the amazing service. The workers here are always smiling, so funny, and helpful. The ambiance is always lively, but not too casual.
google avatar

Stuart N.

Yelp
I had the lamb saag and garlic naan. The food was absolutely fabulous. I like My saag spicy and while it wasn't as spicy as I'd like, it was well balanced and the flavour came through. The garlic naan was made with fresh crushed garlic and butter. Perfectly cooked. Will absolutely eat here again.

Lois Y.

Yelp
This is a lovely restaurant with wonderful food and excellent service! I will definitely revisit whenever I am near Nashville!
google avatar

Rana M.

Yelp
Delicious biriyani! Great presentation! The menu is large, with so many things to try. The options are somewhat different from the other Indian restaurants in the area, so worth a visit. Our food was rather spicy, so I might order it a bit differently next time. The service was so nice! Such a nice waiter. The whole restaurant looks brand new and clean, also. Great experience all around!

Cameron S.

Yelp
Just the best Indian place I've been to in a long time. Highly recommend. If you want spice, you can get it. Only qualm is that the service takes literally forever. I have been a repeat customer and I get my food after people that walk in and get sit down 15-20 minutes after me. I'm not confrontational, but when I asked three times to see about the food, they brought it out immediately...

Neal M.

Yelp
Let's start with the (very) bad. I placed the order for takeout and was told it would be "out in a minute". It actually took over 50 (fifty) minutes. And they weren't particularly busy. But - they redeemed themselves with the quality of the food, which is truly excellent. The goat methi was outstanding. Shame I can't give 5 stars - but after that wait, even 4 stars is pushing it.

Santhu S.

Yelp
Amazing buffet n great varieties of food items. The reason i am giving a 4 is that being a vegeterian felt that buffet has more non-veg options than veg and the plain basmati rice is not cooked properly.
google avatar

Sameer D.

Yelp
This restaurant has great food but service and management is non existent. I've dined here many times, each time the food takes over an hour, even chicken nuggets for my kids. I've catered hundreds of dollars of food from these people as well as have my family cater food from them as well. Today was the last time I ever deal With this place. I ordered door dash, and forgot to add I would like some chutney and tamarind sauce with my meal and the piece of dick On the phone refused to and threatened to cancel my order over maybe $0.30 of sauce? I'd understand if I was rude or asking something ridiculous but this guy can go to hell. They would have to pay me and my family to ever spend another dime here. Food is great but unfortunately due to rude management and staff and long waits for left over buffet food isn't worth the time or money. Pathetic.
google avatar

Yanelis D.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Best naan and chicken tikka masala and our server Avinash was amazing. 10/10 recommend (:
google avatar

Jihoon J.

Yelp
Food was great and Avinash was very kind and patient with our large party! I ordered the channa masala which tasted very good. We also got the butter naan which was cooked to perfection. Others in our party got the garlic naan which was also amazing, will definitely order that next time!
google avatar

Kree C.

Yelp
I ordered here for the first time yesterday through Uber Eats, and my meal was outstanding! I got the Bhindi (Okra) Masala and Samosa Chaat. They came in sturdy, compact, reusable containers and arrived nice and warm. Both dishes tasted clean and beautifully seasoned. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes. This is going to be my go-to Uber Eats order!

Vincent Q.

Yelp
The worst food, and the most insulting service I have ever experienced. I will never come back, and I will tell everyone I know about it. I hope the business fails and something else will replace it. This is ! Feb. I was just there.
google avatar

Victoria H.

Yelp
This is my second attempt at posting a review for this restaurant. I SAID, a lovely place, great service from Avinash and his team. The food was delicious from Naan to dessert. Parking no problem and the place is clean as a whistle. A wonderful experience all around. I can't wait to try the buffet.

Namrata M.

Yelp
The freshly made Naan were amazing!! service was great and Food was delicious. I had this food at a friends party and my whole family enjoyed it a lot. I will order food from there for sure and I recommend it. The staff is very friendly and very understanding and well trained.

Gabriella G.

Yelp
The food was so good, and the service was also wonderful! Avinash was great! The ambiance was also very nice.
