Naxos Island Hotel

We have just returned from a lovely week’s holiday at this small boutique hotel. We could not have been made more welcome. The manager, Vangelis is well informed, a super chap and can tell you everything about Naxos. His colleague, Eleni is the face of Naxos, nothing is too much trouble for her. As you can imagine we were bowled over by their charm and good wishes. The hotel itself is intimate, the rooms are kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delivered from all things Naxian which they are very proud of. The hotel is approximately 30 metres from the beach. We found this an ideal location as restaurants all along the beach. We would certainly return to this lovely charming hotel.

I booked our trip to Greece through Fantasy Travel, who recommended the Naxos Island Hotel. We are a family of 4 with 16 year old twins. Naxos and Naxos Island Hotel were the highlights of our trip. |The hotel staff were very attentive, from the front desk suggesting daily excursions and arranged them if possible. The restaurant staff were friendly and provided great service, and the manager oversaw the operation to make sure everything went smoothly.|Steps from the beach and restaurants, the location was perfect. We loved the hotel’s rooftop pool and restaurant area, with views of the beaches and the Aegean. The beach had dive shops for scuba diving, where we saw broken vases from the Venetian period mixed in with sea life. We picked up a rental car to tour the inland villages and ancient temples. |The medium sized hotel with attentive staff was a perfect home base for our small family, making it a highlight of our vacation to Greece.

My multigenerational family of 6 (including a 5 and 8 year old) had a wonderful stay at the Naxos Island hotel in July 2025. Antonia was so welcoming and made us feel at ease. They were able to place us in the family rooms, where our 2 rooms were next to each other. The rooms were bright, with a balcony and themed to a town in Naxos. The top floor had an infinity pool (the kids loved it) and the restaurant/bar with a phenomenal view of the turquoise waters of Naxos. Stefano was always ready to serve and assist. The entire Naxos staff were all friendly, professional and embodied the Greek spirit. The hotel had easy access to the beach and beachfront restaurants. It was well placed with restaurants, bakeries and shops. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Naxos Island hotel, a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Naxos.

We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and ours had a beautiful view to the ocean from a balcony. The rooftop infinity pool and bar is great. Breakfast each day was excellent and we enjoyed the interactions with the staff. The hotel was quiet, only 16 rooms are available which made it more relaxing with less traffic inside the hotel. The hotel is very close to the beach, it was great walking to the beach and being able to quickly return to our room if we needed anything. Highly recommend this hotel for stays in Naxos!

The location of Naxos Island Hotel is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, the hotel itself falls short of a true 5-star experience. The room quality is average at best — I’d rate it 3 stars or less. The mattress was uncomfortable, and overall the room felt outdated. Additionally, there’s no night service, which is something you’d expect from a 5-star property. It’s not a bad place, but definitely not luxury level.

Naxos Island Hotel is in the perfect location for anyone who loves the beach. Just a few steps from Agios Prokopios, the hotel provided excellent service and luxury. The room was spacious and clean, and the rooftop bar was fantastic for evening drinks. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

He didn’t just serve meals — he created a space that felt safe, relaxed, and familiar. A place where I could truly unwind, enjoy the view, and know I was being looked after. Stefanos made me feel at home. And in a world that often moves too fast, that kind of presence means everything. This wasn’t just a great hotel stay — it was a grounding, restorative experience. If you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, and the kind of hospitality that leaves a lasting impression, Naxos Island Hotel is it. Ten out of ten. Would return in a heartbeat.

My wife and I stayed at Naxos Island Hotel for our honeymoon, and it was truly the perfect choice. The hotel itself is stunning - beautiful rooms, beautiful rooftop views, and just steps away from the beach. One of the absolute highlights was the rooftop Taverna restaurant. Every meal was incredible, and we ended up eating here nearly every night. Whether it was breakfast with a view or a romantic dinner, each meal felt like a special occasion. What truly made our honeymoon extraordinary, though, was the incredible service. We have to give a special shoutout to Stefanos, our bartender and waiter, who went above and beyond every day to make our stay phenomenal. Stefanos was so kind, welcoming, and attentive, treating us not just as guests, but as friends. He even made some signature watermelon Caipiroska cocktails with fresh mint from the rooftop garden… *chef’s kiss* Thanks to Stefanos and the entire team at Naxos Island Hotel, our honeymoon was filled with warmth, joy, and amazing food. We left with full hearts and bellies and can’t wait to come back someday. Five stars isn’t enough—thank you for making our honeymoon truly magical!
