I visited Nay for the second time, and I have to say — it’s truly one of the best Iraqi restaurants I’ve been to in Dallas! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was amazing — warm, generous, and very family-friendly. You can really feel the kindness of the people running the place, which makes the experience even more special.
We ordered the masgouf (grilled fish), mixed grill, lamb qoozi, a variety of appetizers, and of course, tea at the end. Everything was absolutely delicious. The flavor of the masgouf — the smell, the taste, the way it was grilled — took me straight back home. It’s rare to find that kind of authentic taste, and they absolutely nailed it.
The portions were generous, and every dish was made with care. The tea was a perfect finish to a great meal — I almost forgot to take a photo because I was enjoying it so much!
If you’re looking for real Iraqi flavors and amazing hospitality, Nay is a must-visit.
