My Dad recently passed in the hospice unit. My Dad always loved this hospital because of the compassion and care and religious aspects. It was the hardest week of our lives and they were so compassionate, understanding, kind and gentle to me and all 6 of my sisters which was probably overwhelming since there was so many of us. Every single person in the staff was so amazing. Dolores was with him when he was taking his last breathes and she was so so kind to us. We’re grateful for each and every single member of the whole hospital staff. God bless each and every single one of you ❤️

Okay, so this hospital is definitely small when it comes to the emergency room but i can say that my boyfriend went in yesterday and we had the best nurse, his name was Erik in the ER. He was 100% the best nurse we have ever experienced he was so attentive, he made sure he had medicine for any pain my boyfriend was experiencing and didn’t leave us for hours wondering what was going on, and on top of everything where he had the iv in left no bruise at all. He 10000% needs a raise!

I went to the ER for post surgery complications and I had Jennifer as my ER nurse and she was amazing. She made sure I had everything I needed. I was there for 5 hours and she made sure to check on me a few times an hour. It made dealing with my complications less stressful. Thank you so much!

My brother was recently admitted to this hospital, and it’s been a really difficult experience for him. He went without food for three days, which I can only imagine was incredibly uncomfortable. Unfortunately, he ended up vomiting on his clothes, and I was heartbroken to hear that they were just thrown away. It’s hard to believe that a hospital wouldn't have a washing machine available for situations like this. For almost a week, he had to endure the cold without proper clothing. I’ve been worried sick since I couldn’t visit him to see how he was doing. He described the hospital as being quite dirty, with his once yellow socks turning black from the floors, which really upset me. When he was finally moved to a room, he noticed that many of the medical staff were Indian and spoke native languages. What really distressed him was how the nurses would come into his room every day and discuss him and his roommate as if they weren’t there. He overheard personal details about his roommate that made him uncomfortable, and he felt humiliated by this routine. It’s concerning to think that private medical information isn’t being handled with the respect and confidentiality it deserves. It's a tough situation, and I truly hope things improve for him soon.

Recently the drs haven't helped me with the care I've needed. I did have some great nurses. Certain ones really cared.but My last one I had was very ignorant and rude to me when I needed help. She made assumptions about me..it wasn't right.. Took away my visits when my husband was the one who kept me staying in there cause I would of left the second day.. he would always be there for me holding my hand and I needed that but my last day took away my visits for what??? There was no reason to assume.. u know what assume means.. makes an ASSoutofU&ME . . I had such a a horrible experience the last time I was there I told my caretaker to not take me there ever again. . I've been very depressed since I left ama that day cause I know I still need care but I'm now afraid to go to a hospital because of how I was treated last time I was there

Tiffany G (.

Google
The nurses and staff that used work there were great been going their so long. Well I went the othe day and it’s new staff and they are ignorant to wear I just left after they couldn’t draw blood correctly! Not only that the way they get quite while your literally hearing them talk about you have some respect for your patients because you make them so uncomfortable that they will leave without be treated for the care they came for.

Alyssa K.

Google
This is by FAR the worst, dirtiest and negligent hospital I have ever been to in my life!! I went in for mental health treatment because of suicidal thoughts and was transferred to Friends Hospital. I was 302’d and released a couple hours later!! Thank you for the creepy, disgusting conditions; and for being responsible for letting someone in dire need of help go home to possibly commit suicide!! You’re a number and not a person at this hospital. But hey! One nurse was somewhat pleasant so.. kudos!

Stevie S.

Yelp
Avoid this location. My dad passed away 10 years ago being rushed here from a devastating heart attack. Second, the ER looks exactly like an airport. never again. Go to abington or go to Holy reedemer. they will take care of you better.

John D.

Yelp
Place was veryDirty and the food was terrible, Most of the staff was very nice ! would not recommend this haspital

Yelp
This is the worst hospital to go to if you need care. I went there at 5 am in the morning because I couldn't breathe , they told me to sit down and wait to be called. 3 hours later, I'm still waiting. I ask the triage nurse Mary how long because my Albuterol inhaler isn't working, she says she doesn't know. I work at the hospital, 21 years now, I always make sure I keep everyone in the loop if there's a delay. You have to damn near be standing at heavens door before they triage you. After that just die because you're never making it to the back to be seen. One patient snapped because he's been waiting since 11 pm last night. Just tell the ambulance to keep driving straight to the morgue if they're taking you there.
google avatar

Richie A.

Yelp
You get better care in jail! Care quality below minimum My experience with their less than adequate doctors and staff is almost criminal. Do NOT go here!

Sunnet N.

Yelp
This business is so bad never come here my sister been crying for hours from the pain and they keep saying " we just waiting for results" they dot know any other words then that not recommended do not ever come here this hospital should be closed down. Doctors dont care they just listen to someone cry of scream for help.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Everyone tells me to avoid this hospital but I've had nothing but good experiences here! Everyone has always been kind and helpful to not only me but family who have also been there! We actually always go to this specific hospital if we need to be seen! My husband almost cut his finger off and he drove 40 mins to go here.

Kayla F.

Yelp
Dirty , nasty, unprofessional. While im waiting (2 hours) with abdominal pain, no one checked on me, all I hear is inappropriate conversations between the staff. The calendar is still marked for April 16th, it's the 19th. Cabinets left open from previously (before me) medical objects all over fallen. Tv doesn't work. No help but a lot of staff just chatting. ridiculous.

Frank 1.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible . Please bring your loved ones somewhere else!! You can hear the patients screaming for help and the staff is nowhere to be found.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
My dad would of still been alive today if not for this Hospital. I lost my best friend and an amazing human being who did so much for so many people. He was truly the best father and friend. Our family will never be the same without him. When I went to the hospital late that night to see my father's dead body, the doctor on duty admitted that my dad would of been alive if the staff did not do what they did. One of the nurses on duty was so unprofessional and proceeded to complement me on my sneakers as I'm about to see my dead father's body. I was clearly distraught. I can begin to express the lose I experienced that night and continue to feel everyday without my dad. My mother was an RN for decades and always treated families of sick or elderly patients with respect and compassion. The employees I encountered that night had lost their sense of reality and compassion for others human beings.

Natasha L.

Yelp
My husband was brought to ER on ambulance. He literally crawled on the floor to the ambulance, because he couldn't walk. He was diagnosed with sever sciatica and forgot the name of the hurt disk he has. He's a roofer and construction business owner and already had insane pain, cuz sciatica is no joke. Worst pain ever, so when he got there they put him in the waiting room. What's the point of getting ambulance. Then they didn't check him, no blood work, no x ray, no cat scan - absolutely nothing. They disregarded the fact that he was telling them he has sciatica so they wrote it off as just a pain in a leg. They gave him wrong med, Toradol,.didn't tell him anything about dide affects. He was in pain throwing up all night..they were so ignorant and coldhearted they watched him crawl out of hospital, without giving him proper shot in his butt which would have numbed his pain. They do not know what they are doing and they dont even want to. Im going to file complain and gonna go farther we will see.

Eno L.

Yelp
Brought my dad here for breathing problem. They did all the test. They gave him medication. They were friendly funny and professional. Eleanna was amazing. She helped us a lot. Also we did spends about 5-6 hours in here waiting for the blood work results and stuff like that.

Yelp
I wouldn't send a roach for care at this so called hospital..What a bunch of lazy incompetent people. Trying scheduling an appointment for diagnostic tests. If you go to the hospital in person, they'll give you a little car telling you have to call. They'll scan your scripts but when you call they won't be able to find them. And the people on the phone couldn't care less whether you schedule or not. It's a total disgrace. Theat place should be shut down. It should have been shut down when my mom received care there are many years ago. Too bad I can't give zero Stars..
google avatar

Erick M.

Yelp
Worst hospital you could ever go to never coming back I could be dying and they won't care barely anybody waiting and talking about 4hrs wait . Need better management and more workers
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
Never again. Dirty as idk what. Very few folks here idk what the hold up is. Here for a head injury vic and as we sit it reminds me of a SpongeBob episode fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive hooooours laaaaaater still sitting here. God only knows how much longer it will take. This used to be a great place I trusted this place for many years. Ugh. Smh. Ok so we finally made it to a room roughly 6am charge nurse was really helpful. And fast to help once we got in the back. It wasn't all bad. If you come in pack your patience and charger.

Elimarie V.

Yelp
This is the WORST hospital everrrr! My mother injured her leg from the knee down bruised up couldn't walk and it was swollen as hell. She decided to go to Nazareth and the doctor's did NOTHING! The doctor's told recommended her to not put ice on it at all and they gave her two Tylenols then sent her home. She went home and her leg got worse. She cried until she couldn't anymore so she went to Holy Redeemer. Holy Redeemer was as shock as we were that Nazareth didn't do anything! Holy Redeemer did everything right and my mom was grateful for their help. Will NEVER go back to Nazareth and hope no more ever goes! Honestly someone could die on their hands because of their careless and unqualified staff.

Marcus M.

Yelp
Today I was at Nazareth hospital and I had the worst experience everrrr i got there around 3 I sat in the waiting room for almost 5 hours i finally get to the back and I had no room literally just a chair in the hall way with 30 other sick people sitting in a hall way no privacy nothing the nurses are very rude and the hospital was very dirty if I could give Nazareth hospital 0 stars I would don't not go to thisss hospital
google avatar

Sharon M.

Yelp
This a horrible place... staff has no empathy ...I had 3/4 lung removed 1yr ago.. when I came out I suffered from PTS ... they treat you like you are nothing ..they lie to the insurance companies... about the length of stay... just a slaughterhouse... took me a yr to express myself because I could not get over the experience... did not want to even think about this place... do not go there or anybody you love..

August A.

Yelp
I went to visit a friend in ICU whose in a coma. The woman in the room asked if I'd like a moment alone to talk to him, I first said no but a few mins asked if I could actually be alone and she wanna go "Okay I can't go far" Okay and? Why offer me privacy than? I asked the doctor if she knew what exactly was wrong and all I got was "His potassium is really low, he has a lot of problems." I KNOW HE'S GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS, WHAT ARE THEY?! What a bunch of jerks. Its dark in there and no one was at any desks. Security and front desk were only nice people. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there

Wing C.

Yelp
Nobody at registration desk came in at 8:15 appointment is at 8:30 no one around ! Not good service please do better !

Yelp
I am sorry to say never again will I go to the emergency room at this hospital. Waited for ever to be seen waiting in a room for ever and staff seem like they just don't care!

Yelp
Dr wants a routine colonoscopy, so I call the hospital close by and in my insurance network. I'm doing what I need to do to take care of my self, and listening to my Dr. I called the general number 215-335-6000, tell the person what I'm looking for.. Schedule a colonoscopy. I'm going to assume the person who answers the call knows what department to transfer me to. BUT NO. I get transferred around to three people, one ruder than the last. I get placed on hold and then pushed to an automated system that as nothing to do with what I'm looking to do. I gave up. If they can't answer a phone, Lord knows if they can practice medicine. This is why even though it's free, people don't get the screening done. Who has time for this crap? Shame on them.

Yelp
My wife fell and fractured her skull, with bleeding on the brain and concussion. All of the staff, at Nazareth Hospital, from security to the cleaning crew to neurological doctors and nurses are courteous, quick to respond and as helpful as they can be. The doctors tell us everything that's happening to my wife, what they will do, and why they are taking the steps and procedures they're providing. The nurses check on her every hour, make sure she is comfortable and doesn't need anything. The staff is very clean. They use hand sterilizer and wear latex gloves for all their exams and testing. I can't think of anything negative to say about this hospital and the staff that works here. I noticed,in other reviews, that people complained about ER service. I don't know what happened to them, but my experience was completely different. I personally drove my wife to the ER. Within 3 hours my wife had had a CT Scan, examinations by the ER doctors and neurologist, and she was admitted to the ICU. She was there for two days, until the doctors decided she was stable enough to go to a regular room. Oh! Visitor parking is free. Although, sometimes it's hard to find a good spot.plus, they do have WiFi--iGuest.

Yelp
My name is Pete S. I had gastric sleeve weight loss surgery by Dr. Abhiman Cheeyandira AKA DR. Chee At Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. What a great guy, but most important a very good Surgeon. June 4, 2020 was my surgery date. It has been 3 years, I have loss 75 lb. In fact initially I loss 120 lb, But now I am about at my goal weight where I look and feel comfortable. I walked just about every day since my surgery. And went to the gym 3 times a week and still do. My name is Pete.S, I am 68 years young and now I feel great. I can't thank GOD, Dr. Chee and his staff enough. PEACE, Go Brandon.

Yelp
Don't go to this hospital at all costs. Please go further away if you can, I received the most sexist bias treatment here and it was just extremely uncalled for. I wrote multiple complaints about it.
google avatar

Sammi Z.

Yelp
I didn't come here for the ER but for a scheduled surgery. I signed in at 7:30 am and was on my way to the surgery waiting room. (I even got lost and an RN helped me find my way) All the staff and nurses are top notch professional and friendly. I never felt uncomfortable and they answered all my questions and helped me with anything and everything I needed. Thank you to the staff for making my surgery day a breeze !

Yelp
BEWARE-STAY AWAY from the emergency room and this hospital!!! The are incompetent and cannot treat major health issues including co-vid. They are only interested in making as much money from your insurance and you as possible. You'll come out with many more illnesses/conditions that you came in with. Then they'll act like they are the only doctors that can treat you and will REFUSE to transfer you to the hospital of your choice. The doctors are mediocre at best but act like they are world renowned. Go to a better known hospital for treatment in the city. Would not recommend any of their recommendations to Jefferson or St. Mary's. They are likely running a referral scheme.
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
If the middle finger rating was an option, I'd be giving it here and now. Simply...What should happen is the health department should transfer all the patients to Jefferson, fire all the employees, and bulldoze the building down-nothing is salvageable here. This place is dangerous! Not only was the emergency room doctor COMPLETELY wrong in his diagnosis of me, he wasn't even in the right part of my body. He said I had pneumonia in my lungs, when in fact I had neurological problems. Sensing he was an idiot, upon discharge, I went to Jefferson where I was admitted IMMEDIATELY, given an MRI (which he failed to do at Nazareth) and diagnosed correctly. 5 wasted hours of wrong treatment by inconsiderate, uneducated people at Nazareth-NOT GOOD. 3 Days of inpatient treatment at Jefferson by exceptional, well trained people that cared about my well being-PRICELESS. Why would anybody gamble with their life or the lives of the loved ones? Secondly...Nazareth was FILTHY. Example: I needed to use the restroom. The first restroom the toilet was clogged and almost overflowing with feces and toilet paper, so I went to the one next door. (Remember, folks, we are talking about a HOSPITAL here)...this one, the second one, had FRESH, WET BLOOD all over the floor. .....Tell me this isn't a SCAM. I did not have my cell phone as I was brought in via emergency ambulance and it was inadvertently left behind. To call my daughter I needed to use the phone in the room. The hospital has it set up that all calls out must be placed collect. Since when is any call in the United States considered a long distance call? My daughter lives 3 hours from me...to tell her I was sick and in the emergency room, after the call was completed she received a text stating the minutes of the call (4 minutes) and that the cost of the call would be $25.70! (YEP! YOU READ THAT RIGHT! TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS AND SEVENTY CENTS FOR FOUR MINUTES!) Even murderers in jail get one free phone call for God's sake... Please take my advice. Don't go here. The employee's are rude. The medical personnel are untrained. The building is old and dirty. Don't take your chances....you might end up in their morgue. (It's probably unrefrigerated and broke down too)...NAZARETH: YOU GET MY MIDDLE FINGER RATING.

Yelp
I wish I could give this Hospital negative stars. The place is dirty the staff is rude and incompetent. Went there after a car wreck in which air bag was deployed. Went in with intense chest pain and a cut up bleeding leg injury. Was discharged in pain and with the bloody leg wound untreated. Six hours there and these useless staff couldn't even put a bandaid on my still bleeding leg. If you can, I would avoid this Hospital at all costs.
google avatar

Kristi H.

Yelp
My son dislocated his thumb today.. I waited with him complaining of pain for 2 hrs until the nurse finally gave him a measly amount of Motrin then we sat for another hour enjoying fun outbursts from a fellow patient pleading for more drugs, after being denied my son got to here a lot of new foul language. Anyway this place is terrible the staff are not very inviting and it took a little over four hours to pop a thumb back in place. So just went to st Christopher's hospital today for a follow up and my sons thumb was actually broken, he's now in a cast I cant understand how this hospital missed it Unbelievable

Sariz M.

Yelp
I have called five times over the last few months asking for an itemized bill, and have not received one. I received horrible care while I was there, and now they won't even allow me to see what I am supposed to be paying for. All the while, collections fills up my voicemail everyday. I am in the process of seeking legal advice. We haven't gotten into it yet, but I was told that it is a patient's right to have an itemized bill. What should I have expected from a dirty, run-down hospital in the northeast with misogynistic doctors?

Thienvu N.

Yelp
Horrible service. No sense of urgency. Honestly better to find another hospital because you'll probably die from waiting.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
This hospital deserves ZERO stars. They almost killed a family member with their ER incompetence! Too bad I didn't take video and upload to the media. What's worse, we needed to cancel a trip out West and when asked the ER doctor to sign the paperwork we had from the airlines, he laughed and said for us to get our family doctor to do it he couldn't care less that we had to cancel an expensive vacation! Why this hospital is open amazes me to no end. Once my family member was admitted, the room has ripped curtains and a broken end table next to the bed.... who runs the facilities department, slum lords? Stay away at ALL COSTS! Your life may depend on it!!!
google avatar

Nancy P.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars i would. I went there Friday for severe abdominal pain i was given morphine sent home told to see gastro Dr. Threw up for a day. Nursing staff was the worst. The doctor was clueless!

Tiny B.

Yelp
My mother and I came in here around 10:50-11:00. We have been waiting patiently for a doctor to come and see her and get her a room and she didn't get one, but she got a chair in the hallway 9 HOURS LATER. She was then sent back into the the waiting room for 3 more hours. We're going on 13 hours and counting in this ER with horrible service, will never be coming back here no matter how close I am to dying.
google avatar

Cynthia F.

Yelp
I like to first start by saying that this review is for outpatient testing only. I have never used the ER and never will due to how horrible I keep hearing it is. I've gone to this hospital for ultrasounds, X-rays, MRI's, CAT Scans and blood work. The employees have always been nice and I have never been kept waiting long. My doctors always receive the test results in a timely manner also. I will continue to use their services for outpatient testing only and I do recommend others use them as well. Also a major plus is the ease of entering and exiting the parking lot.

Elise G.

Yelp
I would give them a zero rating worst hospital in Philadelphia. Since it's close to my house that's where they always send you. It's a disgrace the doctors don't care or don't come the nurses are okay and friendly. My father has been sitting there for 6 days we all said he had a stroke they ruled it out twice and on day 6 now he did have a stroke unbelievable. Now we're going to try and get him transferred to a better hospital that actually cares. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Nazareth hospital. Thank God my best friend is a medical malpractice lawyer.

Anton C.

Yelp
I was in Nazareth hospital for two days Laura on the third floor at registration three did not do her job correctly I was here getting foot surgery she did not help me to the bathroom she did not give me the water she did not answer the door bell thing The RN Maria did a great job and patient care assistant Bree black lady The case manager even did outstanding job patient care assistant Liam even help dr. Ahmed did good What would you do Leslie physical therapist did a hell of a job

Vanessa P.

Yelp
This hospital is the worst. They don't answer the phone, when they do they're ignorant and rude, screaming and hollering over the phone! So unprofessional!!! No costumer service whatsoever!!

stefanie f.

Yelp
Cero stars very rude people picking up call today at the emergency dept, we were very worry about a family member and a very rude and heartless person picking up not helpful at all with attitude, people like that shouldn't work in places like that or simply stay home . The worst!!!
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
Normally I would not post any reviews but I honestly had to. My stepdad went to ER a couple of days ago for his short term memory loss episode. First, they did not want to give him a CT Scan or MRI. A family friend had to demand them to do. What kind hospital does not do the required exam? Second once they admitted him, they initially said due to short term memory loss he must have COVID. They did the blood work and wrote in his files that he was COVID positive and transferred him to the a room in the COVID wing. But I have never heard anyone who has had COVID have short term memory loss episode. Thirdly the next day, they do a few other test and the results are that he didn't have COVID but he had a mini stroke. How incompetent can this hospital be? He is in that crucial age where COVID could possibly kill him and you put him in the COVID wing ? Like what the actual fuck? It looks to me that they were just trying to make more money from the state and government just to add one more COVID case. In my advise avoid going to this hospital at all cost. Don't do it. You don't know how many other people that have misdiagnosed.
google avatar

Beth S.

Yelp
My son's father passed away in Feb, Leaving him a house that was falling apart. We had to sell it as is and took a huge loss. The money from the house went into an estate account. Nazareth Hospital is the first one to attack that money! $22,000 to be exact, which will leave my son broke. So much for a Catholic hospital, you better go repent to the priest you provide for you patients. Shame on you!

Sofia D.

Yelp
AVOID this hospital at all cost! My mother was admitted to Nazareth hospital....I was there most of the time for 10 days and what I saw is just hard to believe! Few "care" details I experience: One day I came and noticed few pills on a bedside table. Since my mother could not move, all meds should be given to her by the nurse. I took the pills and went to the nurse's station. I asked for the nurse who take care my mother.... I was told she is with another patient... 15 minutes later I was told that she is on another floor... another 15 minutes later I was told she is on a meeting...When I asked who taking care the patients while she is not, I was told that they have somebody. After I insist that I want to talk to this "somebody", the woman I was talking went to the nurse at the computer and whispered something to her, then turned to me and sad that this is the nurse who is covering. When I asked what meds prescribed to my mother and when they were given, I was told that she is only covering and need time to figure this out. When I insist, saying that it should be recorded and she can look it up on a computer, she did, and told me the list of medications and time they (all meds) was given. It was recorded that All meds were given! I show her meds in my hand and ask her why they are on a table... she said that I better talk to the nurse why responsible for my mother. Finally, the "responsible" nurse came to her work station. I guess she was not informed that she was with another patient, on another floor and at the meeting, as she told me that she went out because she needed a break! For the meds, she told me that my mother did not want to swallow them! I understand the possibility that my mother would not swallow, but why it is marked as given???? After more that a week in a hospital, Thursday, late evening, I was told that my mother will be discharge on Saturday. I reminded that Home Care Agency needs to be informed, hospital bed, oxygen tank, lifting equipment etc delivered and installed. I was told not to worry! Next morning (Friday), while driving to the hospital, I received a phone call. I was told that my consent is needed for special IV line for my mother, as she must be on IV medication for 4 days. I was confused, as this totally contradicted what I was told only few hours ago, so I said that I need to talk to somebody to understand what is going on and will be in a hospital in 30 min or so. When I came to the hospital..... I was told that my mother discharged today and I can take her home! I asked about the IV line etc and was told that she can take meds in a form of pills. I went to the room to see my mother. Cardiologist made his rout, and told me that she is not responding to the meds and not getting better. I told him about meds on a table, about "discharging" ordeal, and he was very disturbed by it and sad that he is Not discharging patient in this condition! Few minutes later a man walk in the room and gave me paper to sign for portable oxygen tank to be use while transporting my mother home. He said he got order for it as my mother being discharge! Few days later, late afternoon I was told again that my mother discharged and I should take her home. I asked If Home Care Agency was notified and all necessary equipment (hospital bed, oxygen tank, lifting equipment) in place. I was told that they not sure about Home Care Agency (I found out later that nobody informed the Home Care Agency), but all equipment delivered and installed in my mother's apartment. I asked few times if she sure and was told that she is as this is stated in the record. I asked to talk to the person who recorded it: I wanted to know how they manage to deliver and install equipment in my mother's apartment while it is locked and nobody is there! AVOID this hospital at all cost!

Yelp
I went to the ER at 8:30pm... did not leave until 5:30 am and all they did was get a blood test and an xray and gave me medication! update to this... just got the bill and it's over $3000 ... thank goodness i have health insurance!

Yelp
Went to ER with severe abdominal pain, there for 6 hours, x-rays done, 2 views, which is NOT an acceptable test for abdominal pain. IV put in, left alone 3.5 hours no dr visit with results of blood, urine & x-rays. Given "pain" meds after 4.5 hours. Sent home with Pepcid!!! Really?? Still in unbearable pai & sent back to another ER by my family dr.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this hospital has not such a good rep. I love this hospital the people are nice. I never have too long of a wait like other hospitals. & the parking lot is a 5star all in itself because its so close to the hospital. I've had my gallbladder removed from this hospital. I was well taken care of

Yelp
Do yourselves a favor and drive ten minutes down the road to Jefferson. Out of all the hospitals I've been to and worked in, this is by far the most incompetent. A dude got mugged in the ER in Frankford and I'd suggest them over Nazareth. -Waited two hours in ER before being seen -Spent 8 hours in ER room just waiting on urine and blood samples. Went 3 hours without a single person checking in at one point -Never once told me any of the results. Was I dying? -Doctor falsified a medical document and lied that I was being unwilling to accept treatment. I went to the ED on my own will. That sounds quite voluntary to me. -Kept in Observatory Unit for 48 hours although I was medically cleared in 20 hours. No tests ever showed anything wrong even in the ED. -Told I was legally forced to stay. Ended up being not true. They all lied saying I was 302'ed (involuntary commitment for psychiatric evaluation) but that ended up not even being the case. I could have left at any time but they held me there like a hostage in a room with no cell phone or personal belongings because its a danger. Oh but wait, they left me with a nurse call remote on my bed that is attached to a giant cord. Seems quite logical to leave a "suicidal" patient according to them in an empty white room with cable that went out every ten minutes and no other activity to keep me occupied except my "suicidal" thoughts. I was not allowed to even walk in the hallways to stretch my legs until the end of my third day there about an hour before I was discharged. -Nurses were waiting for samples they never told me to provide. Oh and they lost half my belongings and I had to go back to the hospital and sit in the ER for another two hours to wait for them to FIND MY HOUSE KEYS! It was a Friday evening and the security guard told me to come back on Monday. A weekend without my house keys??? How am I getting home? Since there is no zero stars on yelp, I give them one star. The dietary department was the only team that seemed to be able to do their job on time and properly.

Yelp
WORST MOST RATCHET HOSPITAL was brought in by ambulance, to rude, slow staff. From my room I can hear nurses discussing their sex lives, cursing and being in professional. I waited over an hour after being brought in medics for a doctor who said I'll send in a nurse to escort you to the bathroom. That was over 30 mins ago. This is the worst place to ever come. My room is dirty and so are the sheets. I keep paying for a nurse and no one comes, this place is awful.

Yelp
This hospital is horrible. It really shouldn't take that long to be seen when you're in the ER room early morning. I also thought that patients were seen due to the seriousness of their problems. It doesn't seem like that's what's happening at this hospital. I really think there needs to be an inspection done here.
