"Nazca Kitchen, one of Dallas’s only restaurants devoted to Peruvian cuisine, has closed its doors for good. The restaurant announced its departure in a Facebook post on Friday, blaming the COVID-19 pandemic for its shutter. 'We are so sorry to say that COVID-19 got the best of us,' the post reads in part. 'Thanks to all of our guests, present and past employees, and vendors. Almost 8 years in Dallas is a testament in itself.' Nazca Kitchen made its North Dallas debut in 2012, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes inspired by the cuisines of South America. Some of the spot’s most beloved menu options included hummus spiked with aji amarillo, bright ceviches, and hearty Brazilian moqueca. In 2017, the restaurant expanded to a second location in Uptown Dallas, but it never really seemed to find its footing." - Amy McCarthy

4/2018 update: I had the burger today and it was good. The bun was thick and felt quite heavy/meaty. It wasn't that big a burger and I'm a big eater but the burger was satisfying. It was also yummy! This place is good and the restrooms were clean and modern. ≠====≠====≠====≠ Good food and good service. I'll admit I don't go out much and I wouldn't have picked this place but my boss took us out and it wasn't bad.

Loved the food. They suggest you to order authentic South American dishes. The staff are really friendly. Ambience is beautiful. It's a good place to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries. They have good vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well.

A great find in Dallas! I walked in and was promptly greeted and seated. The wait staff was nice and helpful with my meal recommendation. I highly recommend the Panco Stuffed Avocado with Shrimp and Cheese on a bed of rice. Awesome! I will bring my wife back for our next date night. The menu consist of meal that will fit into Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian & Pescatarian lifestyles. Well priced and definitely a nice spot for those value foodies.

One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Addicting South American spices & flavors and quality tasting food. I usually get black bean veggie tacos with amazing (and spicy!) black bean soup. Great choices for wine & teas. The atmosphere has bright energy and a trendy look. Easy location to get to and park. Highly recommended!

The food here is a joke. Blatant misrepresentation on the menu. Recommended appetizer claims to be served with bacon, came out with literally one tenth of one piece of bacon garnished on a very under-sized serving of avocado. Burger was also laughable, just meat and bread. Management was very kind, but not a redeeming factor for such terrible food. French fries were good, if you must go That's The Only Thing Worth eating.

Hands down a local must try! Fresh food, I had the cheviche, amazing! Not only is the food excellent, but the service I received was top notch! Josie my server was extremely nice and manager checked in to see how everything was and refilled my tea without asking. They did all the little things to perfection! Recommend the seafood stuffed avocado, great stuff, keep it up Nazca!

Very good food! Everything I tried was very flavorful. They have a wide variety of dishes and appetizers, all pretty unique. Make sure to try one of the Brazilian beers too!

My Nigerian roots made me familiar with basically half of the menu. I came here to fulfill a craving for fried yam (yucca). Had the pork & rice plate which with the spicy condiment was good. The butternut squash was cooked perfectly. Now I tried the white sangria this tasted more like bubbly chardonnay than a fruity moscato as I expected. Esp with them listing the fruit flavors (mangosteen, peach, etc) that dry taste startled me. The raspberry-passion mousse to absolutely divine. My waiter knew I wanted it before I could say it, obv a best seller, easy to see why. I look forward to exploring the menu more but I'll stay away from the drinks, since there's no alcohol as sweet as I'd like.
