Naz's Halal Food - Dover

The food is so good. Many options and variety. The taste is amazing and delicious. Service is also great with atmosphere like your average restaurant nice and clean

Baklava was stale and not very good, wings looked crispy but were wet and slimey however the BBQ sauce was smack, the kofta was burnt, the chicken over rice platter was solid but far from authentic, but the fries were fire!!!

Great new location. I'm a new Yorker who knows halal food and this is one of 2 locations in delaware that match pretty good. I like the prices and portions. Could use another piece of fish in the platter but it's cool. The only issue was there was a homeless woman I usually see around sitting in the back of the restaurant.

They definitely give you a generous portion for the price, which is great if you’re looking to get the most bang for your buck. Everything was cooked well,the chicken was decent and had good flavor. The red hot sauce added a nice kick and really helped bring the dish together. I was expecting a traditional tzatziki-style white sauce, but it seemed more like ranch, which threw me off a bit. Not my favorite, but overall, it’s a solid value meal.

This place is so fire, I love it. The lamb gyro is to die for. The fries are so crisp. My only things is, why not make meals that include fries with the entree? I dont see why i am paying for my gyro and fries separately, just to spend more money? I mean, I’m not one to go against the hustle but I like to save a pretty penny too. That’s it tho, shoutout Naz.

The guys and I make it a point to stop every time we're in Dover for work. Great portions. Good quality food. Customer service has been good every visit. I love the combo (chix & lamb) on rice!

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. We each got a chicken bowl and it was very tasty, it was fresh despite the empty restaurant (we got takeout on a holiday and our usual spots were closed.) The hot sauce was perfectly spicy and went well with the white sauce and salad to cool it down. Portion sizes were generous...I think we have found a new favorite! So grateful to have another ethnic food option in a city of chain restaurants that all taste the same.

Went here for the 1st time yesterday & the food was delicious! I had the lamb & fish over rice & salad. The lamb was so tender. The lamb & fish were seasoned just right. It was a really good amount of food & was only $13. I will definitely be back

Horrible food. Stay away from this place. The food was dry and old. Absolutely no taste at all. Wasted almost 25 bucks on this nonsense.

My son came here and ordered simple nuggets and fries. Ugh. He said that he would give a 4/5 for this place for what was ordered. I tasted the fries, they were fresh and good. I mean, it was something we could have gotten from McDonald's. That's my 18yr olds favorite place. Sorry, we went to a halal food joint and my son didn't even try some of the staple foods.

First of all, I didn't know this was a chain. I saw it and it sounded good based on the menu. It's also open super late (like after midnight late) so it's a great option for the late night road trip when you're hungry and don't want fast food. The restaurant is clean inside and well lit. There was a constant stream of people coming in to pick up delivery. I was ordering to go so I was a little concerned about the wait with so many orders ahead of me. I ordered the combo over rice. It's traditional gyro meat and chicken meat over rice with a side salad of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. Over top, there's a drizzle of white sauce that appears to be a tzatziki-type sauce. It was flavorful, a large serving, and the salad was fresh. It was $11 for the dish and that's a lot of good flavor and fresh food. Much better than going to a fast food place for the same old same old. Speed was pretty decent considering how many people were in and out. I would definitely stop here again.

I stumbled on this place while driving on Hwy 13 in Dover. The large red sign that said Halal caught my attention. I thought it said New Halal... but intact it is Naz's Halal food. It is pretty clean and the counter lady was polite and courteous. I ordered the gyro combo (lamb and chicken) with red sauce to make it spicy. I was pleasantly surprised as to how juicy the meat was for both the chicken and lamb. Unlike traditional gyro places that has sliced meat, this was actually in little cubes. They do have this Kulfi ice cream ( Indian /Pakistani dessert on a stick). The baklava was mediocre at best

The food is really good and the employees are friendly . Prices aren't bad either they are reasonable and the open super late !

If I could give a MINUS FIVE STARS as a review I would. I ordered a chop cheese and sweet corn nuggets. I received 5 or six sweet corn nuggets that were at medium temperature, closer to cold. The chop cheese was made more like a cheesesteak with almost no cheese. The onions weren't fried, the bread wasn't toasted as I requested, and it was cold. The sandwich was really a soggy mess. I called the store and was greeted by an angry man who acted as if I was somehow irritating him. He advised me to contact DoorDash. This experience was horrible. I would not allow them to cater a dog show. And after reading all of the horrible reviews, one after another, I would have never ordered from this establishment.

Lamb hit barely had any lamb on it. I got the combo lamb gyro and it came with more fries than gyro

Today was my first time trying Naz's Halal and I will absolutely be back! I ordered the chicken over rice with white sauce and it is jam packed with flavor. The white sauce tastes fresh and the chicken is tender. The service was phenomenal - friendly workers and fast service. Great portion sizes too!
