On North Carolina’s Outer Banks, Coronavirus Feels Worse than a Hurricane | Eater

"A seafood-focused Duck restaurant within the same ownership as other local ventures that leaned on catering and personal-chef services to pivot to carryout and bulk orders when dine-in service ended. While those efforts brought in some revenue, they did not offset staffing and delivery costs, staff have been volunteering to keep operations running, and the business—already dependent on tourist-season income and near the end of its available credit—faces serious uncertainty for the summer months." - Hannah Leidy

"We arrived early and snagged a perfect spot on the deck, with stunning views of the sound. Our server, Blake, was incredible! She was a local with such spirit, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. She guided our teens in picking out great choices and, thank goodness, talked us into trying 'the board.' It was nothing short of amazing—an impressive spread of everything, beautifully arranged on a plank. Every dish was phenomenal, with the crab and salmon standing out as our favorites. The surprise beignets? Decadent and the perfect way to cap off the meal. To top it off, live music started just as we finished. Overall, this place is a gem. 5 stars all around!!"

The food was magnificent, from the starters to the entree. We had the Mexican Poutine and the crab dip, both were fantastic. Certainly, one of the best sweet potato dishes I’ve ever had, and excellent crab. The service was very good, and incredibly attentive. Do note, that between 2-4, they are only serving select appetizers and soups, as the chefs prepare for dinner. This is not uncommon for chef-curated cuisine, but you should prepare if you prefer earl dinners or late lunches. Finally, the Seafood Trinity was very rich and flavorful. My girlfriend’s salad was equally flavorful, but was a little pricey ($30~) for a salad with added chicken. We will be back! Please note, parking is limited, but the shopping center across the street offers plenty!

My husband and I stopped here to have lunch together. The view of the sound is wonderful. We ordered a chicken wrap & the fresh catch of the day fish sandwich. Both were delicious, but were lacking some flavor. Our server was attentive & friendly.

This has by far been the best on the water dining experience in Corolla/Duck. After coming to the area for 5 years, we’ve had a variety of dining experiences and always try something new. I was worried due to small menu and being on the sound, as sometimes there are odors. We were seated quickly at about 5/530 on a Saturday evening and had the BEST view of the sound from our outdoor table! It was so beautiful!! The crap dip appetizer was incredible, and my salmon was cooked perfectly! I’ll note this salmon was supposed to be pistachio crusted, but due to allergies, they graciously left that out. My table also had a chicken Caesar salad and the crab cakes - nothing less than rave reviews from all! We’re marking it a total success and will be back in the future to enjoy maybe a sunset dinner. They were setting up live music too! Just an awesome vibe and scenery. Thank you for such a great dinner to end our vacation!! ❤️

Google
A phenomenal dining experience! My wife, baby, and I had dinner here and it was incredible start to finish. Our server was funny, enthusiastic, and great at his job and the food was fantastic. I had the tomahawk pork chop and my wife had shrimp and grits and both were amazing. We had the beignets for dessert and probably could have eaten 2 more orders of them- they're that good! We can't wait to stop in again and try more items from the menu- and enjoy a beautiful waterside dinner again!

A pilgrimage to the Outer Banks is not about food for me but about rest and enjoying my favorite relationships. We stopped in here to grab a bite while waiting for our beach house to be ready. It was too humid to sit outside but the view was very serene and enjoyable. The menu at the time we went in was very limited. My husband and son shared the Mexican appetizer which was a creative and delicious combination. The restaurant was crowded and very loud, felt like hustle and bustle. I thought the prices were extremely high but that piece of real estate is pricey to rent I’m sure and they have to pay for it with their summer customers. The staff were friendly but kind of looked us up and down as if we maybe we weren’t dressed well enough. We had just driven 8 hours and didn’t look our best.

My family and I recently visited NC Coast Grill and Bar in Duck, NC, and it was a profoundly disappointing experience from start to finish. We arrived with high hopes for a nice seafood dinner, but what we got was a complete lack of quality control and a litany of frustrations. First, the view was delightful, but that’s about it. Thee wait was a grueling 90 minutes just to be seated, which already set a sour tone. The slow service continued throughout our meal. The food, when it arrived, was a huge letdown. The "coastal" seafood was anything but. The crab legs were pitifully sparse, with about half of them having barely any meat. The shrimp were even worse—unpeeled and undeveined—making them utterly unappetizing and a waste of our money. My family and I ended up throwing most of them out. This is not what we expect from a restaurant that prides itself on being a coastal seafood spot. However, the most egregious part of our meal was the shocking lack of cleanliness. We were seated on the patio, which was completely overrun with spider webs. While we understand that some bugs are to be expected outside, this was a full-blown infestation. Our umbrella was home to at least six spiders, two of which feel into our food. My sons were frustrated as two more spiders dangled directly above their heads. They were so disgusted they couldn't finish their meals and left early. When we brought this horrifying issue to the staff's attention, the response was a dismissive "they come out at night." This is unacceptable. These were not new webs; they were huge, indicating a long-standing and unaddressed problem. A simple hose-down each night would have prevented this nightmare. The final straw was witnessing a staff member pouring leftover drinks from a table directly into the ocean. This blatant disregard for the environment and basic sanitation was a truly shocking end to an already terrible evening. For a bill that was nearly $300 for 3 lbs of crab, 1 lb of shrimp, sides, and sodas, this level of service and quality is simply inexcusable. My family and I will not be returning, and we strongly advise others to save their money and their sanity by dining elsewhere.

Google
We came here because the menu was small but had such a variety of options. We had 3 share plates and 2 entrees. A few drinks in between. Everything was amazing! The tuna was delicate and paired sooooooo nicely with their avocado spread. The beignets were *chefs kiss* perfect. The crabs cakes were actually chunky with crab and not with filler or a crab substitute. And the mussels were mouth watering. You can’t go wrong at all mixing anything here. Everything pairs so nicely.

Yelp
Must come. Fresh ingredients. Great drinks. Great service. GET THE CHEF BOARD. Literally the best choice you can make. For what you get and the variety is it's so perfect. Plenty. Try everything. Great view. $17 drinks. About $30-$50 a person. Worth every cent. App- get the tuna patron. Best tuna on the beach. By far. Park across the street. Come early. It is a bit noisy because of the ceilings but that's because everyone just adores this little place. Enjoy a drink on the grass with live music and a view while you wait for your table.

Yelp
Disappointed! The food was okay but it was a miserable experience. -Hot and loud environment -Long wait after ordering (an hour) -Water was barely cool -Salt shaker wouldn't work despite getting help from the server. When I couldn't get any salt out after she filled it, server said "put your back into it" and walked away -no apology from server for problems and no attempt to make it better. Just suggested we ordered more expensive appetizers while we waited for our food. -small-ish servings with nothing special added, no garnishes, no bread with salad... -never offered something to drink nor dessert, just dropped off the bill when we finished our food. So disappointing!

Yelp
This was our very first stop for dinner on our great Outer Banks vacation. We sat on the boardwalk overlooking the ocean at sunset on Fourth of July. The view was spectacular and we couldn't ask for more. The service was great and the meals we got were very delicious. The crabcakes are some of the best that we tried on our entire vacation. The shrimp and grits was also very good and just to my liking.

Yelp
Came here at 445pm on a Tuesday for a party of 3. The place gets packed quickly so if you are a big party, be sure to get there by 5pm or else the wait is long. We ordered the daily specials ahi tuna steak which was tasty and good quality seafood but the food came at a room temperature. We also ordered the seafood pasta with lots of good seafood (scallops, shrimps, lobster and crab meat) everything tasted fresh and nice hot temperature. Then there's the side of sweet potato waffle fries that came out plain cold.

Yelp
Bay view - excellent. Had drinks and listened to music while waiting for our table. Great time, very enjoyable. Had 2 teens and 1 pre- teens with us, one was very hungry. It was very nice and had a good experience waiting about 90 minutes or so for our table. Checked in at 540 for a table and got seated at about 710. They first said it would be 2 hours. I kept checking the toast app which was nice to see the progress of when our table would be ready Appetizer - had the mussels. Sauce was excellent. bread came with it and an underwhelming about of mussels for a family of 5. First order we got 10 mussels. I had to order a second order bc it was not going to be enough with two teen boy. The 2nd order had 12 mussels. For the price this was under whelming. The sauce though was again excellent. Dinner - I had the sassy sea scallops. Food taste and quality was excellent. It came with 5 regular scallops or jumbo that cooked down to regular size. It came with Brussels sprouts, arugula, mushrooms and some kind of jam. Everything worked the jam, arugula and scallops were great. The Brussels sprout, I felt were under cooked a little but they were cut nicely so I could eat them. The dish seemed to lack mushrooms. For the price I think there should have been at least one more scallop. Although 2 more is probably appropriate for the price, in my opinion. Others in my partner had very good meals. Ribeye was cooked great, tomahawk pork chop was seasoned very well. It is a must to get the beignets. They were awesome. Usually it is 4 for 9 dollars but the server gave us 5 so we each could have one. That was really nice. We got the chocolate and Carmel sauces on the side bc my son doesn't eat those. This dessert was great. Food taste and quality= excellent Service = very good, attentive and nice. Value= average. I wish the value was better. Yes I would go back but would look for a more appropriate app for a family of 5. Maybe it is a restaurant where everyone needs to order than own app instead of sharing apps.

Yelp
First of all, this rating was not about service--it was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and polite/friendly/accomodating. This was about the wait and the food quality/prices. The wait was over 1 hour on a Thursday evening around 7pm, and that was to sit outside (apparently quicker than inside). We were sat at the very bottom of the dock area, which seemed cool at first. But then once the sun went down the bugs came out. Not really the restaurants fault because bugs come out at night and it's near the water--BUT, I don't really want to eat around them. And when I say bugs, I mean we killed 4 pretty good sized spiders and a ton of gnats before we requested to sit inside. The wait for our food was crazy long--probably at least 30 minutes from the time we ordered until we got our food. We ordered 3 kids meals--$14 a piece and they were gross!!!!!! None of my kids liked their food, and they really aren't super picky eaters. For $14, it better be amazing and it was really mediocre at best. A couple appetizers for the adults and we were $77 into this meal and didn't even get any alcohol. Also, be aware the menu on Yelp and online do NOT match what they actually have. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back. Sad, because the reviews for Duck, NC area restaurants this was one of the best....save your time and money.

Yelp
Nice place. Inside vibe on point. Comfortable bar w/ THC drink options and stellar service. Great service and pretty decent food. Protein serving was a little short for the price and flavor was kinda flat but nothing a little salt n peppa can't fix. Solid 4, would recommend

Yelp
I've dined here for many years and loved every meal. Not this visit! Must have changed ownership. My tuscan trinity had two shrimp, two scallops and one tiny piece of lobster for $44!!! The lemon-basil cream sauce was completely absent from all three of our Tuscan Trinity dishes. This dish used to be loaded with seafood, very saucy and delicious. It was none of the above. Also ordered chicken fingers for my daughter and found one of them was still raw. Service was great, but food was mediocre at best. So sad. *Response to owner: You gave an almost raw piece of chicken to my daughter who ate two bites before I noticed as she tried biting through chicken jerky. It did give her a stomach ache. I showed the waiter and he said he'd bring out two more......yes, I should have grabbed a manager. Three of us ordered your $44 pasta dish, 30 pieces of sun dried tomato and 5 pieces of seafood, the lemon-basil cream sauce was non existent (forgotten?) on all three of our orders. Not impressed and not surprised by your response.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday evening just after sunset. May weather is still iffy so once the sun went down it was very breezy on the deck outside, but the inside dining area was also busy and a bit on the loud side for me (I have noise sensitivity issues) so breezy was better than loud. Service was great, very friendly. I tried the she crab soup (that may not be the correct name, it was the seasonal special that day) and oysters. The soup was amazing, very rich and smooth and yum. I would definitely visit again if I'm the area, and time my visit better for either during the day when the sun would warm us up or later in the season when it's hot enough that a cooling breeze is wanted.

Yelp
Service was terrific. Wait staff was SO positive after a comedy of errors. Rain outside-power going out halfway through our meal. Food was good-Caesar salad was way over dressed. It got very hot very quickly with the power off and I felt like staff could have offered a free cold drink or something.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, friendly staff. The food came out FAST and it was DELICIOUS! We brought 8 kids and they were very gracious with us & brought out the kids drinks and food first!
google avatar

Caroline N.

Yelp
Stopped for late lunch and seated right away. Had the sexy Southern Caesar salad, which is jazzed up with hard-boiled egg, avocado, pickled red onions, and chicharrones--very good. Service was great.

Gabrielle S.

Yelp
Great place to eat and watch the sunset. They had live music as well. The wait was quite long. Went back twice during our trip. First visit got the crab cakes and pistachio salmon and second trip got the steamed oysters and drinks! All the food was good a little pricy but worth it. The drinks were also very good! Bartender was very nice.

Yelp
Food - really really great Parking - really really bad Service - really really bad First, parking lot is extremely small. You'll have to find some place else to park before you walk over. Food - I'd absolutely come back here to eat again. I had the pesto cream seafood pasta with a goat cheese salad. That's probably the first time in my life I've cleaned off that much food at a restaurant with no leftovers; it was really enjoyable. Service - The couple sitting next to me at the bar commented on how bad the service was, and the couple sitting next to them said the same thing. There was only one bartender to oversee an entire bartop and also make floor drinks. Customers tend to be very understanding if you are just kind and acknowledge we exist. I felt like an inconvenience asking for anything, and we all got put on the back burner. Since you can't eat service, I'd absolutely eat here again and recommend you just sit at a table instead if you see one bartender working. Update to owner Wes' response: Wes, that's just a backhanded reply. A response of "We are sorry you feel that way" rather than "Hey, sorry service IS lacking." Your history of feedback to customers is defensive and backhanded when you don't like what they have to say. I'm not looking for a handout by "speaking with the manager," and I'd write back to you directly about your insincerity if that was an option. Regardless, I'd stop in for the food sometime again.

Yelp
Fabulous food and good service. They have outdoor seating and a great location on the sound. We weren't hungry enough to order the specialty board, but will definitely be back!

Yelp
On a nice day, eating outside is a treat. Excellent selection of entrees, and, superb service. Limited parking.

Yelp
My wife and I loved this place. Great service and the food was outstanding. Love the crab dip and the seared scallops. Also do not miss out on thé Beignets. Excellent dinner. It was one of the Highlights of our trip.

Yelp
NC Coast was so much fun! It's right on the water with lots of shade. Our waiter Colin was so personable and sweet. He got us set up with our drinks and appetizers quickly, and was good about refilling our waters (which is super important to me during the summer at these beach restaurants). For an appetizer, my husband and I ordered the crab dip. It was delicious and quite filling. For entrees, my husband got fish and chips. He is still on the eternal quest to find fish and chips as delicious as the ones we had in Poppy's while in London. He got a side of malt vinegar (he prefers white), and ate every bite! I ordered a lobster bomb without bacon. It was like a lobster ball on a brioche butter bun. I ate every bite, plus the fries it came with. You got a good amount of food for the price and the views!
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
If you want to eat here during the summer months (and trust me, you want to), you better secure reservations in advance. This place is popular, and for good reason. The food they serve here is not only delicious, but different than the typical seafood fare you find in the Outer Banks (although if you're craving seafood, they do have plenty). My favorite thing here is the coconut curry bowl, just spicy enough to break a sweat without being overwhelming. You also can't beat the location or the sunset that can be seen from the restaurant's outdoor seating right on the Duck boardwalk. When they have live music here it's magical to see the sun dip below the clouds with an acoustic guitar playing in the background. Service is also prompt and attentive. Minus one star because one year I came here and they were serving Oysters that had been preshucked and stuck in the freezer which were gross and dried up...totally get you want to cut down on wait times but raw seafood is not the place to try and cut down on time.

Yelp
The ambiance at this restaurant was amazing. We sat out on the deck with the setting sun in our background. The food was delicious. Some in our group had the Beet salad, some had clam/artichoke hearts dip with chips and sweet potatoes fries, we had Curry bowl, lots of sweet potatoes fries, Mexican Poutine that was so good. There were 7 women and a baby and the service was great for us. We were well taken care of

Yelp
After playing a round of golf and building up a huge appetite, my friend and I were able to find this awesome establishment! To start, the view is spectacular while enjoying drinks and food. Started off with a couple glasses of Chardonnay while we enjoyed the scenic view. Then had a dozen oysters on the half shell to go great with the wine. By the time the entrees came out, we were already completely happy and satisfied. I had the shrimp & grits for dinner, and the this entree was delicious and some of the best shrimp & grits I've had. Great time, great food, and great service. Thanks for having us!

Yelp
Based on our previous experience, we had dinner here with high expectations during our annual trip to Duck. We left very disappointed. To be clear, our server was very nice-she was not the problem. We had the crab dip as an appetizer and it was okay. It could have been warm, but it was room temperature. I had the sexy caesar salad with a crab cake added on. There was barely any dressing on my salad. The same was true for my husband's caesar. My husband's steak was fatty and flavorless- very poorly prepared. In my opinion, any chef at a restaurant of this nature should be able to present a delicious steak. Period. It's cooking 101. My water glass also lipstick on it when we sat down. Our kind server was quick to replace it when we brought it to her attention. This is a lovely restaurant that needs to tie up some VERY loose ends. Sadly, we probably won't be back.

Yelp
Okay, we stopped here to grab a quick drink and maybe an appetizer after walking on the Duck Boardwalk. We saw a Chef's Specialty Board (samples for two of many of the items from the main menu) served at another table and we are now hooked!!!! Our server explained the board, worked with us on my wife's dietary restrictions, and we got our own Chef's Specialty Board. The service from our waiter was exceptional and the Board was fabulous. NC Coast Bar & Grill is now on our WILL visit again next year list!! By the way the restaurant is sitting right on the sound and the sunset is gorgeous!! I highly recommend you try NC Coast Bar & Grill if you are in the Duck, NC area!!!!

Libby D.

Yelp
Considering literal proximity to crab, was somewhat disappointed with crab dip. Slower bar service but drinks were fresh and tasty. Beautiful views, would recommend a great spot for a few drinks and splitting an app, main courses are underwhelming.
google avatar

Paige H.

Yelp
We dined here for lunch. Had to wait awhile for our drinks but not a terrible amount of time. Service wasn't bad but the serving sizes were so tiny. Even the appetizer, definitely not shareable. The food tasted okay. It wasn't great. They're big on Cajun. The seafood options were mostly Cajun, even my seafood tacos. The ceiling fans have cob webs all over them. Too bad, they look fairly easy to clean when not moving. We won't return, mostly due to the serving sizes and food taste. Again, the taste was ok, but for the prices, the sizes mixed with the flavor... not worth it at all.

Yelp
WOW! Just wow. You can't really find a restaurant in the OBX that takes reservations during the summer, so it's always a crap shoot. NC Coast was recommended by a family member who lives in Corolla, and it exceeded all expectations! We got a table for 4 outside and were able to sit within 15 mins at 5PM on a Wednesday in July, probably because it was so hot that evening. Our server Grace could not have been better - she was SO friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, with great reccos on menu items! Not easy to do on such a hot and busy evening, and she was just fantastic! FOOD: We shared the Crab Dip and Fried Cauliflower - both delicious! Was a little surprised by the Pico on top of the dip, but it added SUCH a great freshness to the creamy dip underneath. And the Cauliflower, y'all! The BEST cook and sauce (sweet chili). Shrimp and Grits were fantastic - great recco by Grace! Perfectly cooked shrimp, and the whole dish was perfectly seasoned with flavor, tang, and freshness. Both who ordered the Ribeye loved the dish! The veg and chimichurri were perfect accompaniments, and the cook on both (Med and Med Rare) were perfect as well. I do not care for cooked Salmon, but it was greatly enjoyed by those who do with great cookery and flavor. We will definitely be back!!

Santana H.

Yelp
food was ok our server was very rude and snotty I would not recommend this place to a friend there is definitely better places to go near the area

Jill S.

Yelp
Enjoyed our Chef's Board which was recommended by our waiter. It gave us a taste of dishes on the menu. The food was delicious and our server was very pleasant and helpful. The view was beautiful also!
google avatar

Hannah K.

Yelp
We went twice on our recent trip to OBX. The food was delicious. It did get pretty busy at dinner and I believe we waited ~45 minutes. We were given a buzzer so we went to the nearby shops and walked about a little bit while we waited. I would definitely return.

Virginia G.

Yelp
Very good food, service, and drinks Ate there once while on our visit! Food came out at a perfect time.
google avatar

Clémence B.

Yelp
If you see this place, just pass it. It's a tourist trap. You only pay for the ambiance. Place looks good outside at sunset until it gets dark and you realize it's crowded with huge spiders everywhere. Food is overpriced, didn't even had dressing for the salad, only vinegar and waiter had an attitude about it.
google avatar

Liz B.

Yelp
My mom and I stopped in here one night to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. We didn't have a reservation but put our names down and grabbed a drink and sat in their outside waiting area. It took about 30 minutes to get a seat. Once we sat, we got the three cheese crab dip which had a large chunk of just cream cheese in it and not a lot of crab. I also had to ask for extra old bay since the chips were only slightly dusted with them. For dinner, I ordered the baby beet salad with amazing seared scallops and my mom got the blood orange scallops which she also enjoyed with a delicious potato risotto.

Yelp
Great wait staff, wonderful service. A must when in Duck. Sit by the water and enjoy the atmosphere.

Yelp
Amazing experience! highly recommend ordering "the chef's board", you won't regret it! Food was delicious and service was outstanding!

Yelp
My husband and I grabbed lunch at this restaurant and really enjoyed it while in Duck. We sat outside and had the fish tacos for lunch, which were amazing. We came back another day to get appetizers and drinks and also enjoyed the caprese salad and the steamed shrimp.

Yelp
My family had a wonderful dinner last evening at the NC Coast Grill and Bar! We had wonderful service and enjoyed the location of the restaurant on the sound. The cocktails were excellent. For an appetizer, we had a wonderful crab dip. For our entree, we ordered the "Chef's Board" for three people, and the food was outstanding - I highly recommend ordering the Chef's Board. The dessert of incredible warm beignets with a chocolate and caramel sauce was included with our meal and was a highlight. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Melissa M.

Yelp
We stopped by last night on a very busy and very hot evening. The wait was 1 hour and 45 minutes to be seated. It was too hot to enjoy a walk on the boardwalk, so we shopped a few of the nearby stores to keep cool. Once seated the temperature inside was still uncomfortably warm. Our waitress did come and take our appetizer order right away, commenting that we all looked quite hungry. Our appetizer arrived timely, but it took quite awhile longer for her to return to take our entree order. After our order was placed, she came back after about 30 minutes later to let us knew that too many chefs boards orders were delaying our entrees, so it might be another 20 minutes to get our food. Twice she encouraged us to place another appetizer order for crab dip, but stopped short of being apologetic for the long wait or offering any type of compensation for the delays. When we finally received our food and had trouble with the salt grinder, she handed it straight back, said "put your back into it", and turned her back and walked away. In addition to being overly warm inside, the noise level was quite boisterous, the chefs salad was quite plain for the menu price, the light over our table went out briefly and one person in our party had the scallops and didn't feel well for the rest of the evening. Overall it was just a disappointing experience for us on this particular evening that wouldn't inspire us to return.
google avatar

Claire T.

Yelp
Went to NC Coast our first night of girls weekend. They set the bar high for the rest of our trip. Since it was off season, we luckily had a reservation. From what I understand, they do not do reservations during the busy summer months. We were shown our table very quickly on a lively Friday evening. Got our drink order in and felt adventurous so we ordered the board for 7 people. It was amazing! Some of the best and most creative seafood entrees I've had on the outer banks. I've attached a picture of our beautiful board! Go try it and get there early!
google avatar

Yelp
Love their crab dip! Beautiful dining inside or outside. Great music outside with view. Love their baby beet salad with a crab cake on the side! Highly recommend!

Yelp
It was a good place right on the water. We sat outside and the temperature was great. The food was top notch and the pint of beer was fantastic. Currently in my life I'm not trying to eat a ton. This place didn't fill up my plate. So for me that was fine. However, if I was in a different state of mind, the smaller plates would have been disappointing. Overall, good place for such a touristy area.

Yelp
Incredible food and service. We ate on the deck overlooking an amazing sunset. We will be back!

Yelp
Not much to say when ALL is so good. We skipped two eating establishments we have enjoyed when the menus were plain, Cravings and Roadside. The food is superb and creative here. Service very good.

Yelp
This is a great lunch spot. I liked the oysters I had here and the fish tacos and fries were also good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. The service was good and I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a casual spot with a nice view of the water.

Yelp
The food was a 5 star! The service was just as good! Our waitress Sandra and Téa were outstanding!

Yelp
Food was delicious! Had the crab dip and tuna appetizers. Dip had a large amount of lump crab which is always a concern when getting crab dip. The tuna was seared perfectly and mango salsa with avocado complemented the flavors well. The lobster salad on the sandwich was fresh and the bacon was a great touch! The fish of the day for the tacos was tuna and they were also delicious!

Yelp
First let me say I have been here 5 times before and it was very good. Its expensive however so it should be. I almost always order the seafood trinity. Its usually creamy, lots of seafood, and great proportions. I went with 7 people. It was not packed. We ordered chicken fingers 2 orders. One order had one chicken finger that was mostly raw. $14 for chicken fingers and fries. No exaggeration. For a kid. 3 people ordered the trinity. There was zero sauce. It was dry. There was a shocking lack of seafood and to make up for it they PILED on sundried tomatoes. $44 for each trinity. Usually its worth it - this was not worth $25. I wont be coming back for a while. Oh and they charge mandatory 20% tip for 6 or more and 3% for credit cards on TOP of the high prices. Yea. It was massively disappointing and actually due to raw chicken - dangerous. I hope it gets back to where it was very soon. But im avoiding for a year. It was that bad.

Yelp
3.5. We like this place for the convenience of on island food and always find the waitstaff kind and efficient. The food is always solid. This year we tried the bulgogi beef wrap and street tacos with the daily fish (mahi mahi). I think Last year i got a health bowl and really liked it but my boyfriend tried the burger and didn't like it too much. Honestly the only reason this didn't get more stars is because the food is really just solid. Nothing too special but it is good for the convenience.

Yelp
Good food (miss the old beet salad, but the sweet potato salad was good); they're always open, has a great soundside view.
