I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a few years and finally made it on my recent business trip to Japan (Aug. 2016). I was so glad I did. I went on a Saturday evening (around 7:30 pm) with no reservation. It was no problem, but the restaurant became more and more full over the next hour or so. As a pescatarian, the seafood, fish and vegetable menu was perfect for me. I was asked when I ordered if there was any food I didn't like, which I thought was nice. I ordered the three course dinner, but it came with so much food...bread, olives, a glass of wine, a vegetable appetizer, soup, salad, snapper & vegetables, a potato dish, two types of dessert, and espresso. It was all delicious. The only thing that didn't appeal to me personally was the octopus in the salad. The overall experience was a pleasant one. The waiter was very nice. I speak a little Japanese, but he mainly spoke English to me. I didn't expect it but it was very helpful. On a final note, the water they served was the cleanest-tasting water I've ever had. It tasted like absolutely nothing.
It's a little on the expensive side, but I rarely go to a nice restaurant like Ne Quittez Pas, so I didn't mind it for one meal. I would love to return and see how the menu has evolved.
