Ne Quittez Pas

They have special dirt dish! You must try to believe the taste. Actually dirt ice (from Kanuma, Tochigi) is pretty nice.

Nice blend of French cooking and local ingredients. All dishes are fish- and seafood based though, be warned.

A nice and classy French restaurant. The service was amazing and the chef came and talked to us and he was adorable. It's on the pricey end though

会社の経営メンバーで、お祝いディナーで訪問。北鎌倉の名店アキヅキさんのご紹介で知りました。こちらのお店は基本的にはお魚料理に絞っている、ちょっと珍しいフレンチのお店です。そのメニューが1皿1皿感動的なほどにおいしい。聞いてみると、素晴らしい網元との出会ったことで、お魚に絞った展開をすることにしたとのこと。 そして、もう一つ、特徴的なのがスイカ。訪問したのは1月の寒い時期だったのですが、スイカのシャンパンから始まって、スイカのケーキまで、スイカをあしらったメニューも出てきて、いずれもとてもおいしかったです。店内にはスイカをモチーフにしたアートも目をひきましたよ。 今度は魚が好きな妻を連れて再訪したいと思います。

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a few years and finally made it on my recent business trip to Japan (Aug. 2016). I was so glad I did. I went on a Saturday evening (around 7:30 pm) with no reservation. It was no problem, but the restaurant became more and more full over the next hour or so. As a pescatarian, the seafood, fish and vegetable menu was perfect for me. I was asked when I ordered if there was any food I didn't like, which I thought was nice. I ordered the three course dinner, but it came with so much food...bread, olives, a glass of wine, a vegetable appetizer, soup, salad, snapper & vegetables, a potato dish, two types of dessert, and espresso. It was all delicious. The only thing that didn't appeal to me personally was the octopus in the salad. The overall experience was a pleasant one. The waiter was very nice. I speak a little Japanese, but he mainly spoke English to me. I didn't expect it but it was very helpful. On a final note, the water they served was the cleanest-tasting water I've ever had. It tasted like absolutely nothing. It's a little on the expensive side, but I rarely go to a nice restaurant like Ne Quittez Pas, so I didn't mind it for one meal. I would love to return and see how the menu has evolved.
